READING LIFE DEEPER Face Readings and Aura Readings of People in the News January 2007 Zine, Issue 53
by ROSE ROSETREE
In this issue:
OBAMA! Buzz about presidential aspirations is one thing, character is another. Behind the spin about Barack Obama, what can we learn about this rising superstar in American politics? In this two-part article, I’ll read his face. For background about the system I’ll use, Face Reading Secrets®, click here. As always, I invite you to read his face ahead of my comments. And after you’ve read my comments, email me with any observations you have at rose@rose-rosetree.com. Power dynamics have the young Senator off to a great start in presidential aspirations, with the passion power style. (Physically, that means his forehead is wider than his cheeks.) Although not terribly common among most people, it’s very common among high-level politicians.
Full eyebrows taper right before the edges.
Communication is clearly a talent for the Junior Senator from Illinois. His mouth shows Blarney Lips, Lailan Young’s term for lip proportions where the lower lip is twice as full as the upper. He also has huge smile depth, an exceptionally wide tooth framer smile that ends precisely at the top of his teeth. Most interesting, note those Cupid’s Bows on his upper lip.
Obama’s nose is long, and straight in profile. From the front, you’ll see his nose bonus (an extra bit of nose between and below the nostrils, technically known as a “hanging columella.”)
To summarize, we’ve seen so far many strengths in the face of Barack Hussein Obama. He’s a service-driven, systematic worker with a gift for strategy. Intellectually, he’s as brilliant as he is verbally… which is very. The second part of this article will delve into the more problematic facial attributes of the 45-year-old Senator. FACE TIME -- FACE READING IN 2007 Here are opportunities to enjoy Face Reading in the New Year. 1. One Year Better: A Face Reading by Rose That face you see in the mirror this new year, it’s not one year older, just one year more evolved. Every change to your face has meaning. Let that meaning inspire you by getting a full face reading this year. If you’re located in metro D.C., make an appointment in person, so your Life Potential Face Reading can include a look in the Mirror of Truth, that shows your face as others see it. Otherwise, just send in a portrait photo and a profile shot, by regular mail or email. Then we’ll talk over the phone. Inspiration may stay with you every time you look in your new friend, the mirror. 2. FACE READING secrets® MENTORING PROGRAM: Last Month to Sign up before an increase in tuition. However far you’ve developed your skills at reading faces, my Mentoring Program is designed to give you a big boost. It’s a four-part program, including an elective plus a piece of original research. Click here for the full details.
Sign up now, and save. To see how much you’ll save by signing up this coming month -- and what you can learn with this unique Mentoring experience, click here.
3. face reading for genealogy On February 10, I’ll offer a new type of face reading class, where you can bring photos of relatives to track family resemblance and also gain fresh insights into what they were like as people. Called "Face Reading for Genealogy," it will be offered at a public high school, with continuing education units available to supplement your professional credentials if you’re a therapist, physician, etc. Click here for the details. 4. FACE READING WEEKEND INTENSIVE - Brand New It’s not too early to sign up for my first Face Reading Intensive ever. Advanced skills will enable you to open up any part of the face to read its story. Plan for a full weekend July 20-23 with the most in-depth physiognomy you’ve seen yet. Admission to this Intensive is limited, to ensure a quality experience for all. To reserve your place, contact Julie Schroedl, Intensive Coordinator 540-310-4896. Or email her at: jschr4fh@aol.com. OBAMA! part 2 -- can he dare? Can we? So far we’ve viewed Obama’s thinking style (eyebrows), work talents (nose) and power style (cheek configuration.) We’ve even glimpsed the physical component of his well known eloquence. In the second part of this article, let’s view the truly controversial parts of this man’s face. Again, here are his photos: Physically, down-angled eyes mean outer corners that are lower than the inner corners. Play “Connect the dots” on both eyes and you’ll see that both of Obama’s eyes are down-angled, and the right eye is even more down-angled than his left one. Of course, as an experienced face reader, you know to cross over when seeing someone’s image, just as if you were about to shake hands. Always remember to cross over to find right or left. It’s different from seeing yourself in the mirror. Telling left from right matters because each side of the face has meaning in my system of Face Reading Secrets®. The left side pertains to personal life, while the right side relates to public life. And, using the ancient rule of physiognomy, very = very, what I’m about to describe has especially great significance for his career. The Senator’s eye angles suggest that, more than most people, he is a problem finder, a problem solver, someone with exceptional compassion. Problems that others place into denial, Obama will bring into political discourse. And, since his right eye angles more deeply than the left, you can expect this young politician to be especially apt to initiate unsettling, perhaps inconvenient, conversations -- right out in public. Actually, if elected to be Chief Executive, Obama would be the first president since Kennedy with a down-angled right eye. Ronald Reagan had a down-angled left eye but very up-angled right eye-an asymmetry that stayed exactly the same over a 40-year period; this configuration is about keeping grumbles private, while remaining relentlessly upbeat in public. What’s wrong with electing a president who is unabashedly compassionate? That depends on America’s collective state of compassion. As a nation, do we have the maturity to question deeply? Dare we elect someone who would be motivated to make big changes? Would America’s big corporate interests be willing to tolerate such a candidate? And you’ve heard nothing yet… about Barack’s ears. (Why are ears my favorite face part? They hold the deepest information of all, to this physiognomist anyway.) Ears record soul-level ways that a person processes reality. Thus, Barack Obama’s ears bring us the deepest view as face readers, and two of his ear characteristics are really extraordinary. First note the silky ear texture, ears so finely wrought that, with the right lighting, they would appear to be nearly translucent. Highly unusual for a politician of either gender, Barack’s ears are even more delicate than Hillary Clinton’s. See for yourself in the central photo of this collage.
Equally challenging, note Obama’s huge inner ear circles. Seeing this involves comparing their proportion to the outer ear circles. Hillary Clinton’s right ear, in the previously-mentioned photo, shows equal proportions between inner and outer ear circles. Almost all U.S. presidents have had larger outer, than inner, ear circles. In fact, the only president I could find with big inner circles was Oprah. Just kidding. Not only hasn’t Oprah taken the lesser office of American President, but all three of her ear proportions are equal: Inner ear circle, outer ear circle, and earlobe. Click here for her photo. Oprah’s equal ear sections relate to being super-aware of physical reality, outer life events, and subjective interpretations. No wonder she could interview anyone! Barack Obama’s sense of reality goes way deeper, even if he presides over no talk show program. For him, life is mostly about the inner -- what he believes, what has value, what in life really matters long term. The potential challenge? Obama’s authentic values-based world view is in stark contrast to a “values-based” world view à la George W. Bush. The Bush version is for show. The Obama version is for real.
Each man has a
straight chin, like a ruler-drawn line at the bottom of the face. Compare
and contrast the
straight chin on Bush Of course, when reading the alphabet of the face, the meaning of a straight chin is the same regardless of chin owner. It’s about making decisions based on principle. To put straight chins in context, you’ll want to peruse other facial attributes to appreciate more clearly what drives the person’s decisions and principles. Reading George W.’s face, or his aura, or (if you’re very intrepid) using empathic techniques to move into the direct experience of being him -- his principles are formed by external influences. What is popular? Where is the money? Even before Bush moved into the White House, I wrote that the so-called “Compassionate Conservative” has many talents that show in his face but, alas, virtually nothing about compassion. Obama, however, has plenty. He is generously endowed with compassion -- inwardly, intellectually, and in his ability to communicate. For such a man to make choices based on all this… look out world, if he gets his chance. That’s why an Obama candidacy could come down to a contest between the American people and the king makers. Remember when W. first announced his candidacy? A virtual unknown on the national scene, with limited political experience, Bush held enormous promise for America’s power brokers. They filled his campaign coffers in record time. You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist to have noticed the hand of big money behind American politics. The recent mid-term elections have proved that Americans want a change. And Obama’s popularity surges exactly because Americans want a change. Will the people still listen to that charming voice of hope? If the idealistic young Senator is nominated for President, big money will be spent to oppose him. So the question becomes whether voters be swayed by negative campaigning, as happens so often. In the end, it may be his Idealism, not his race, that turns out to be the big liability for Senator Barack Obama. ZINE ARCHIVE Have you missed a recent issue of "Reading Life Deeper"?
