READING LIFE DEEPER March 2006 Zine Issue 45
by ROSE ROSETREE In this issue:
THE PORTAL OPENS Deeper Perception is a way of life, once the door opens for you. Whether you start with face reading, aura reading, or becoming a skilled empath, the knowledge that comes to you will be extraordinary. To make this happen, you need not have any gifts besides the complete set that God already has given you. Just make the choice to read people deeper, use a technique or two every day, and glorious insights will become as natural as breathing. As a teacher and writer, I’m thrilled with all the conversations that have begun, once people have started to consciously use their birthright, Deeper Perception. Talking with students, I started thinking, “Here’s a marvelous teacher. His or her words ought to be shared.” That became my first reason for opening The Portal. My second reason is the caliber of students who have been coming to me over the past year. Both classes and personal sessions have been bringing me people who really appreciate Deeper Perception. And they don’t just want me to share my perceptions; they are truly empowered. So what could be more natural than giving them a way to connect with community at The Portal? So, ta da! Starting March 21, my home page will contain an announcement and a new link. Click there and you will open The Portal to an assortment of blogs and forums. Each one of these interactive, free opportunities will invite you to join a conversation. How are YOU using Deeper Perception? Does it help you to solve problems? Heal others? What are you learning about yourself? Yes, you are most cordially invited to join in conversations begun by some of my most articulate students. They have very different backgrounds, different skills, even different languages. Browse at will. You’ll find the links, lurk and read and contribute as you wish. Know that your participation can significantly add to the conversation that humanity is having now about Deeper Perception. Lisa Paradis started all this, by volunteering to host the two forums currently linked from my home page. Now that turns out to be just the beginning. If YOU would be interested in volunteering to create a forum or blog about any aspect of Deeper Perception, you can be linked to The Portal as well. If you’re curious, send an email to rose@rose-rosetree.com with the subject line “THE PORTAL” and I’ll send you specifics that can help you to get started. Joyful community awaits. HEROIC AURIC ACTING Unless you forego the media entirely, you’re going to hear the incessant drumbeat of Oscar commentary right up until the awards are given, at which point the post-Oscar commentary will begin. So why not let the international obsession become a way to practice your Deeper Perception? As an aura reader or empath, you can do a kind of research that gets to the very core of a great performance. Extraordinary acting doesn't merely involve looking the part, getting the words out so they'll be heard, putting on a convincing expression, or singing if you’re playing a singer. Sure, these acting requirements are enormous challenges. But the best acting also changes chakras. This year, I finally figured out a way to research this. For each “Best” nominee, I compared a still photo from the nominated role with a photo of each performer being herself or himself. Although I haven’t seen any of these films yet, I sure want to. And, like any skilled aura reader, I can read auras while watching those movies. It’s like wearing 3-D glasses, only more interesting. Research shows who can supplement the tough technical requirements of acting with the ability to change all the way down to each chakra. Only two nominees for Best Actor managed this neat trick. Heath Ledger altered every one of his major chakras, going from a complex, confident hetero male to the brooding, loveable hero of “Brokeback Mountain.” What could be as courageous as going public with an entirely different sexual orientation? How about playing one of America’s most popular (and quirkiest) country musicians? Biopics have built-in audience appeal, but what a challenge to take on aura characteristics of a real-life character! Joaquin Phoenix did better than just play the part of Johnny Cash. He channeled him. Correction—he did better than channeling Cash. Whereas a trance channeler, for example, is taken over by an entity, Phoenix performed a real synthesis. While very conscious, definitely acting on his own, he managed to also shift his aura into an uncannily accurate match with the real-life subject. Read the difference yourself.
How can you read auras from photos? Here’s the simplest way:
Let’s compare throat chakras here. You go first. Then read below the pieces of the puzzle that I found in my research. Joaquin as himself: A wild sense of humor is the man’s most distinctive quality. Regarding masculinity, Phoenix has it but doesn’t flaunt it in the way he communicates. Instead, resourcefulness matters more, as though he possesses a huge repertoire as a communicator. Which, of course, the next photo confirms that he does. Joaquin as Cash: Rough, tough communicator. A burbling font of testosterone. Make that a fountain with gravel in it! Cash as Cash: He’s an awful lot like Joaquin as Cash. Male oomph is the major attraction. The real Cash is tougher, more cynical, but not by much, compared to the portrayal by Phoenix. Overall: Read other chakras from this trio of pictures (as you can, with more advanced methods that some of you may know) and you’ll find that Phoenix consistently makes a major shift into being Cash—earthy as can be, un-empathic, and compellingly honest. Also noteworthy: In Aura Transformation Sessions, some of you have had me facilitate astral healings; or I’ve taught you during workshops how to avoid attracting astral entities. Learning to close off your aura is a key skill --not slamming yourself shut energetically but merely making yourself unavailable to those fickle entities you’ll otherwise meet at the supermarket (and perhaps, unwittingly, bring home with you). Just in case you’d like to see an example of someone who naturally keeps his aura way closed, here he is. Read any chakra on the real Johnny Cash. And, bless his heart, the same goes for Joaquin Phoenix during this amazing performance. NEW! CELEBRITY LOOK-ALIKE REPORTS Oh, I simply couldn’t resist starting this new kind of service. Facial recognition software is available now. It can match any decent-sized headshot you supply to that of a famous person. So you now have the option of sending me anyone’s mug shot and requesting this oh-so-exquisitely-postmodern treat. Your report will contain a match, then comments about three ways that your faces are similar (and what that means) plus three ways that your faces are different (and what THAT means). Another way to order the report is to arbitrarily choose the face of any person you like over 18 years old (the minimum age of for physiognomy), then send either a photo or a photo's weblink. You’ll receive the same kind of report, three similarities and three differences. So if you have a hero or best friend and want to receive the star treatment that way, go for it! Wouldn’t this be a great gift for a relative, pairing you together, whether he or she looks much like you or not? For $30, it’s a lot of noses, cheeks, eyebrows… fun. This lighthearted service is probably the best way to introduce people at work, or family members, to the world of Deeper Perception. So consider it a gift possibility, for people in your life who are leery of psychics, or anything else that seems too “woo-woo.” They’ll laugh. They’ll think. And voila! Non-coercively, you will have introduced them to the art of Reading People Deeper. Click here to find out how to order your Celebrity Look-Alike Report. OSCAR'S WOMEN How well did the Best Actress nominees do at morphing their auras? No contest! They performed way better than the men. Every one of the these talented women convincingly shifted her chakras. The least adept was Charlize Theron, who “only” managed to totally shift two chakras. At the root chakra, she morphed her big, star quality glamour into the auric display of a frightened and, in some ways, passive character. At the heart chakra, gorgeous Charlize shifted convincingly, too, from her usual focused, happy self to a strongly different heart, maternal in ways far beyond Theron’s present life experience. But the big aura reader’s joke here is what didn’t change in this Oscar-nominated performance: A super-charged, mega-glamorous, movie-star-sexy second chakra. Sure it doesn’t fit in the role but it sure does attract. And who, exactly, is going to complain? All the other nominees in this set of Best Actress nominees for 2006 did the near impossible. They managed to morph all their chakras to create a completely different character. Here I’d like to give special acknowledgement to Reese Witherspoon for her real-as-life, down-to-the-chakras match-up with June Carter. Just for fun, check out these photos and read away, chakra for chakra: The June Carter character early in “Walk the Line” Carter with Cash (really Witherspoon with Phoenix) And the real deal, June Carter Here’s my chakra-by-chakra summary Root Chakra: Presenting self to the world Reese as Reese: Definitely Southern, she’s an artist with more temperament than most… who has learned through diligent effort to seem easygoing and “normal” in real life. Reese as Young June: She’s sexy, feminine and tough as a well-lacquered set of nails. Reese as June with Johnny: This June has grown up. Her presence has become huge, way sexier, and it blends with the aura of “Johnny.” In real life, you’ll see this blending in two ways: Either the couple has just made love very satisfyingly or the pair has developed the essence of marriage, a state of profound love and sharing. The real June with Johnny: Virtually identical to Reese’s portrayal. Belly Chakra: Sex Appeal Reese as Reese: Behold the wealth of sexual energy. It’s just as confident as it is huge. Reese as Young June: She radiates a simple, direct sex appeal. Reese as June with Johnny: Woo-hoo! June has turned livelier, bigger, steamingly voluptuous; and she’s confident enough to play at being flirtatious as well. The real June with Johnny: Virtually identical to Reese’s portrayal. Solar Plexus: Power Reese as Reese: You’ve heard of the proverbial “iron fist in a velvet glove”? Here she is. Reese as Young June: Not much power is here. Young women’s auras often show up just like this in real life. Still, if this character were maintained for the whole movie, the role would seem boring to perceptive viewers. Reese as June with Johnny: What a powerhouse! Joy is part of the confidence she radiates. Here’s a woman who has connected with her authentic strength in life. The real June with Johnny: Virtually identical to Reese’s portrayal. Heart: Emotions Reese as Reese: Her enormous emotional range is unusual for a human being, although not for a major league actress. Still, her heart’s major underlying quality is unusual for anyone. Kindness is the soul-level gift. So living with kindness must be a strong intent for the real-life Reese Witherspoon. Reese as Young June: Bland, simple, empty—just go to the mall and you’ll meet plenty of girls and boys like this character. Reese as June with Johnny: Man, is she tough! This character has aged by decades, aurically. Her emotions run strong. Most distinctively, she is intensely possessive of her man. The real June with Johnny: Virtually identical to Reese’s portrayal. Throat: Communication Reese as Reese: Give her a role and she’ll play it. Resourcefulness shows yet again in her aura. Yet there’s a distinctive soul-level quality beneath—a commitment to expressing the Truth. Reese as Young June: Again, the character is a simple, unformed communicator. How well would she do on “American Idol”? Not a standout! Reese as June with Johnny: Talk about evolution—this woman has really learned to be a singer. (Personal note: When I recorded my audiobook of “Empowered by Empathy,” due to be published later this year, I received expert tutoring from Marilyn Cooley, senior voice talent on public radio in Washington. She explained that performing through spoken words requires that you put your entire being into your voice, concentrating it there, even as you simultaneously strive to sound natural.) Intense focus through the voice, that’s what projects hugely through this character’s throat chakra. The real June with Johnny: Virtually identical to Reese’s portrayal. Amazing performance, right? The typical moviegoer registers chakra morphing subconsciously. But lucky you, as an aura reader! You can appreciate the fine points. Using Deeper Perception brings you extraordinary, heart-opening experience, at the movies and beyond. OH BABY, A MEDIA FIRST February was an unusually active month for media, here at Women's Intuition Worldwide. Two magazine articles won’t be published until May -- but they will be huge fun. So keep your eyes out for the May issues of Mystic Pop Magazine and ELLE Canada! The quarterly catalogue for England’s Inner Potential Centre has a shockingly large photo of me on the cover. So finally, at age 57, I guess I could be considered a minor kind of cover girl! Radio interviews have included the big talk stations in Seattle and Pittsburgh and… Brisbane, Australia. Doing four hours’ worth of live interviews with Rob McConnell, at the X-Zone, I learned that his show is broadcast in Central and So. America. So that means I have officially been interviewed on every continent, except for the one with the penguin documentary (and I do strongly recommend “March of the Penguins”) and its polar opposite. Incidentally, you can click here during March to hear an archive of my interview with Rob (yes, Rose’s squeaky voice is available on demand)… and note that registration is free. But here’s the big media precedent, not just for me but for all aura readers anywhere. For the Chicago Sun-Times, I read the auras of pregnant singer Gwen Stefani and her baby. Think of it:
It’s such a delight that Deeper Perception is becoming this mainstream. Chicago, the tough city that poet Carl Sandburg called “hog butcher to the world” is now the first to print a pregnant Mom’s twofer aura reading. I’ll mail you a copy of the full-page story if you’ll send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Rose Rosetree, 116 Hillsdale Drive, Sterling, VA 20164-1201. get them while you can March and April are excellent months to have personal sessions and reports with me… because I’m going to be on the road from May through August. My summer schedule is jam packed due to publication events for Let Today Be a Holiday in Ireland and Massachusetts. I'll be teaching in England and Japan as well. (In Japan, we’ll launch another new book, “Empowered by Empathy” in Japanese.) Alas, for the first time ever, I’ll have to take a zine + session + report hiatus starting in June, resuming September. After that, friends, I’ll be back for sure. Mitch, my webmaster, is now scheduling sessions. Just send him an email at mitch@rose-rosetree.com.
