1. Archangel Michael

Keeper of an indigo flame for healing, this Archangel was first recognized by Christians.  But he’s a full-service protector, regardless of faith or lack of it.

A deeply loving, strong presence, I remove what doesn’t belong, guided by knowledge.  I will co-create with you, bringing power and compassion.

To work most effectively with me, know that as God’s child you are protected.  I help to keep you safe.  Ask and I will come.  Request the help you need and I will bring it.

Cutting cords of attachment, I help by going straight to the truth.  Old bonds that imprison the will can give way easily.

2. Ascended Master Jesus

If you’ve studied Christianity, there’s a possibility that you have heard of this fellow.  With all respect to religions founded in his name, in my experience Jesus does not demand that he will come only if you belong to a particular church, go to Confession, or wear a cross around your neck.  Just ask him to help you, no strings attached, and he will.  (In this respect, Jesus is exactly like all the other Divine Beings.)

Let me be a new presence to you, regardless of how you’ve heard others describe me.  I care about you.  Our relationship can be this simple: Name the need and I will bring help.  Whatever your situation, you can feel that I appreciate who you really are, the wholeness of you, the deep self.

To work most effectively with me, only have confidence that, of course, you can summon me.  I embody the ease and hugeness of Divine Connection.  Ask, receive, and ask again until you feel completely satisfied.

3. Ascended Master Merlin

You may not feel entirely serious while you co-create with Merlin because, while he lived on earth, he was never overly respectful of authority figures, students or anyone else.

Self-authority is what I will teach you, just as I did with my students at the time of King Arthur.  Calling me a “wizard” at the time was just the current term for a spiritual teacher.  During my human lifetime as Merlin, I learned a lot about politics, its limits and temptations – and ways to get around the official powers that be.

Statues make his presence familiar, even in the West.  Buddha’s serenity is legendary, as is the image of him sitting beneath the Bodhi tree, immovable, compelling Enlightenment to make itself known to him.  His grace can become a powerful ally for your sessions.

Steady as one of my statues, I help you remember to breathe and be.  After I join with your consciousness, you may feel a calming influence.  Let me help you to discern truth and yet more truth.  With every discovery, deep in the background, you may feel a great love.  This supports all insights, just as the roar of an ocean can be heard beneath each crashing wave.

6. Ascended Master Sananda

When your meditations take you into the full solar system and beyond, you are ready to connect with the presence of Sananda.  (But you can also Get Big with Sananda when your meditations feel like “Duh! Nothing happening.”  Maybe Sananda’s presence is just what you need to get bigger within yourself.)

Sananda is a larger identity of Jesus, as revered and famous in worlds beyond earth as Jesus is for so many here.

Although living on earth you, too, have a Higher Self.  This God or Goddess Self is bigger than your human role.  Being human, you identify mostly with your human self, yet that Higher Self exists now and always.  I can enliven your conscious connection to Higher Self.  This happens automatically whenever you ask me to help you in the here and now.

To work most effectively with me, move into the flow of God.  Become willing to expand in heart and mind.  Allow your intuitive self to know the core truth of any situation.  A more expanded version of your Self may seem different from your usual personality, more solemn or unusually simple.  Wherever you are when you have called on me, energetically, that place has become a cathedral.

7. Ascended Master Socrates

Plato’s writing assured his master’s immortality in Western Civilization.  This great teacher, Socrates, was not the only philosopher during this golden age of inner inquiry, but even in his time Socrates stood out.  He was the great wise man of Greece, a unique interrogator who used a method in which each successive question removed vague ideas, mental laziness, illusions, ignorance.  For his time and place, he was the intellectual equivalent of a sumo wrestler.

Strength and persistence are qualities that I offer.  My way is to supplement the truth-seeking qualities already within you.  Before you call on me, ask yourself, “Do I really want to know the truth about my life?”  If the answer is “Yes,” I will gladly help you reach your goal.

9. Ascended Master Hercules

Strength is the specialty of this legendary Roman god, known to the Greeks as Heracles.

Notice the feelings of strength in your physical body as you connect with me.  I enliven your strength, both the universal human quality of strength and your inner gifts.  My strength is direct, sometimes wily, always strongly goal-oriented.

To work most effectively with me, bring a clear intention.  Then don’t be afraid when results follow, because follow they must.  My power will merge with yours, so you may feel stronger than usual in your will.  You may also feel your body become an instrument of power.  Let all the different strengths of your heart, soul, mind, and knowledge move together in this one moment and your body will become the focus of all strengths.

10. Ascended Master Ganesh

Within Hinduism, Ganesh has impeccable parentage -- father Vishnu, mother Parvarti.  Bearing the head of an elephant (a long story), his body is otherwise human.  And in his nature, Ganesh shows contradiction as well, combining a childlike playfulness with a greater than human gift for overcoming obstacles.

Inwardly, open your eyes to see me.  Yes, it’s a shock, finding my elephant’s face.  Cosmic punctuation!  In all the Three Worlds, life can be surprising.  Imagine how having that face has surprised me!  Fearlessness comes as a result.  Wherever you position yourself to serve God, you will find life as it really is, not necessarily what you’ve expected.  Here is where the strong prove their worth.

Let me help you to fulfill your purpose joyfully.  Whatever work you agree to do, we can team up to accomplish it.  No task is so solemn that it must be taken super-seriously.  Nor will any obstacle deter me.

Here is the lesson behind all that we can do together: Every time you overcome obstacles for somebody else, you remove similar difficulties from your own path.

11. Ascended Master Krishna

Maybe you’ve encountered some orange-clad Hare Krishnas chanting to Him, but they don’t own Him.  Worshippers from all over India do pujas to Krishna each day; they don’t own Him, either.  Like any Divine Being, he will come when called by anyone whatsoever.  Any sincere invocation will do.  That includes simply thinking His name one time.  Instantly he will appear.

When pictured, Krishna is usually seen playing the flute.  Whenever you contact him, listen for its healing power.  Here’s another noteworthy fact about the “Stealer of Hearts,” handsome and beguiling, the major crush of the maidens in his home town of Brindiban.  Krishna may be the only man you meet in the ethers whose skin is a pleasing shade of light blue.

I bring love and a spirit of fun, not altogether serious.  Yet you will find me as effective a helper as if I were solemn.  To work most effectively with me, say what you would like, or think it.  You can trust that I will do all I can.

But don’t miss the show.  Pay attention.  Perhaps you will see a trace of movement, feel blue light, or hear the final notes of my flute.  Whenever I’m with you, however I serve, I will leave a memory of playful compassion deep within your heart.

12. Ascended Master Shiva

The great destroyer, Shiva is more than a Hindu god.  According to that ancient religion, he embodies one of life’s three gunas, or laws of nature.  Let men join with Brahma to create and Vishnu to maintain.  Shiva is the one who removes useless old patterns, ignorance in the guise of wisdom, fear, arrogance, or false contentment.

I am change.  No, I’m not stopped by little inconveniences.  Nor do I respect small excuses or fears, because once invoked I become an unstoppable force.

Bring me in to blow down the old, as you might wish for a mighty storm to cleanse a hot summer season.  Only do not try to stop me as I purify.

SURPRISES ABOUT THE CUT CORDS OF ATTACHMENT BOOK

Since Cut Cords of Attachment was published toward the end of 2007, I've been hearing wonderful stories of healing. 

Yes, the book works for teaching you how to cut cords of attachment with professional-level skill.  It's a systematic training course, and the first book of its kind in the English language.  The runner up is Angel Medicine, a book by Doreen Virtue, in which she devotes exactly two pages to explaining all about how to cut cords. 

What didn't I anticipate when writing this "everything you must know to cut cords with quality control" kind of book?  Surprise!  Many people have no intention of doing the surgery on themselves or others.  They just read it for reasons like these: 

• Consumer smarts – Finding out what is involved in cutting cords properly, they can choose a healer more wisely.

• Appreciation – Learning why I did what during a personal session of Aura Transformation.  A lot goes on between my silly jokes!

• True tales of spiritual growth – The book is filled with stories from the 20+ years that I've worked cutting cords for clients.  (Recently, I've had to abridge the book, taking out stories, for some of the foreign editions.  Other languages aren't as compact as English.  You're lucky, I think, if you can read this original edition.)

Call on one of these Divine Beings to facilitate your session overall and to place a bandage after a cord of attachment is cut.   

Why are these particular Ascended Masters and Archangels better at bandaging than cutting?  Although vibrationally refined, they aren’t necessarily aggressive.  Think of Fred Rogers, the saintly TV host known to generations of American children.  Plenty of healing occurred at “Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood,” but it was no place to learn kickboxing.  

Ideally, when working with clients early in a session, you will ask for the client’s choice of Divine Being.  Any of the following Bandage Makers are superb choices for your session as a whole.  Still, if you will be cutting a cord of attachment, at Step 4, discuss inviting in a Cord Cutter just to help with that part of a session.  Then He or She can stay around for the rest of the session and be thanked at the end. 

Can a Cord Cutter do both jobs?  Yes, but some of these powerful beings, like Shiva, don’t specialize in nurturing.  For soothing qualities, it’s a huge relief to receive the healing attentions of one of the following Divine Beings: 

1. Archangel Raphael

“The healing of God” is what His name means.  I’ve been told by clairvoyant sources that this Archangel comes with a host of angels, all vibrating at a blue-green ray.  Please, though, remember that when you contact any Archangel or Ascended Master, clairvoyance isn’t required.  You can team up gloriously with Archangel Raphael through whatever Gift Set you have been given for Deeper Perception, including clairaudience, clairsentience, and truth knowledge.  Experience Him in your own way and enjoy His distinctive vibrations.

You may feel me first as knowing, or as caring, or simply as being present with a healing intent.  Although I can do every phase of healing, I’m especially patient with recovery.  It is my delight to help the patient add, remove, fine tune and release until a healing is complete.

Work best with me by surrendering.  After you give a request, surrender to the healing process and let me do my part.  May you feel the peace as I work.  It deepens as healing unfolds.  And your capacity to feel this peace will unfold, also, working along with me, again and again.

2. Archangel Gabriel

Famous as a messenger, this Archangel is celebrated in many scriptures.  If you’ve seen him pictured, he has carried a trumpet.  Why is he, among Divine Beings, so often in the role of delivering God’s wakeup calls?

Let me help you be heard.  Let me open the paths between you and others to help them listen to you.  Communication is God’s song from one soul to another.  My contribution is to amplify that.  Call on me, also, if you have had problems with truthfulness or wish to explore integrity in others.  My joy and trust, my instinct for the truth, will flow to you on demand.

To work most effectively with me, set your heart on the truth.  Then listen and watch.  Do not demand third or fourth repetitions but be willing to recognize truth the very first time you hear it.

3. Ascended Master Mother Mary

Catholicism is full of saints, but none venerated more than Mary, the mother of Jesus.  For thousands of years, prayers have been addressed to her, sometimes set prayers, sometimes the improvised, grateful or anguished prayers of those who sought help from the Divine feminine.  What is she like, really?  Let’s ask Her.

There is a well of kindness in this world from which you may always draw.  I am that presence.  I refuse no one.

4. Ascended Master Kwan Yin

Beloved Buddhist goddess of compassion, Kwan Yin is said to hover close to earth, readily available to help anyone who calls upon her.  A healer and teacher, she is distinguished by serene wisdom that lifts the soul toward enlightenment.

Pure and fresh, my presence brings a new beginning.  Know that help is always available through me.  And it is to be new help, new ideas, new comfort, new solutions.

To work most effectively with me, just call.  Very simple.  I am used to helping anyone who invites me.

5. Ascended Master White Tara

Both Buddhism and Hinduism claim Tara as a goddess.  Traditionally, different attributes are associated with changes to her skin color.  When her skin is green, her yang energy dominates; Green Tara is reputed to be especially helpful during a crisis.  When her skin is white, however, Tara’s yin energy dominates.  White Tara is a living torrent of serenity.

Strange my energies may seem at first, remote and unearthly, maybe distant as a star.  Yet, as you attune to my frequencies, you may have a familiar feeling, too.

Your intent summons me from beyond earth.  So, too, you once came here to live at what Rose calls “Earth School.”  When you allow yourself to open up to my presence, you may wonder at the familiar kind of peace, as if coming home.

To work most effectively with me, do not only ask for help.  After you ask, stop to feel the response with your body, heart or soul.

After you cut a cord of attachment, I can help to bring peace.  Even though something has been removed when a cord is cut, the person is left more whole than before.  Understanding this mystery, I enliven That wholeness. 

6. Ascended Master Brigid

In Ireland, Brigid is venerated as a saint.  Power is her specialty, making her a welcome addition to any healing team.  Although power may be Brigid’s traditional attribute, what is she like when you summon her to help you?

Let me bring cheer to you, and practical help.  My presence reminds you that you are vital, strong, and passionate.  Through the ages I have come, always bringing the heart of youth.  Pour out your heart to me so that I can lighten your cares.  I’ll remind you, in a way suited to now, to this particular time, of an ancient truth.  When you work with God, help is there always.

To work most effectively with me, just ask.  I don’t need ribbons or ceremonies or fripperies of any sort, only a simple request.

7. Ascended Master Lakshmi

Lakshmi brings wealth, happiness, and good luck.  No wonder she is so popular with Hindu families.  In this religious tradition, worshippers are aware of a host of Gods and Goddesses but usually choose one Divine Being to connect with each day, and for most Hindu households the choice is Lakshmi.  Famous for grace and generosity, of course she is popular.  How will it feel to make your own personal connection with her?

There is a joy you can feel at being alive on earth.  Children are born with it.  I understand it. I can enliven this joy within you.

To work with me, call my name and be willing to meet on the vibration of joy.  Then, I can garland you with prosperity and the expectation of good things.  Meeting together, let us both be suitably decorated.  Now you can ask of me whatever you wish.

8. Ascended Master Saraswati

Knowledge is her specialty, this Hindu goddess reputed to be the mother of the Vedas, ancient scriptures of India.  She helps with communication about the finest levels of consciousness, an attribute that shows in how she is typically pictured.  Notice her four arms: One hand holds scriptures, the second a lotus (symbolizing the flow of consciousness to Source).  Her two other hands play a long necked, guitar-like instrument called the veena.

Maybe you will notice that your hearing grows more acute when I am here with you.  Sound, voices and silence can all reach you deeply, connecting outer world with inner senses.

To work most effectively with me, feel at peace, with an expanded awareness.

Then know I can help you take action.  Tell me your intention and, based in silence, we will pursue it.

9. Ascended Master Hestia

In ancient Greece, every home centered around a hearth.  Here Hestia lived, bringing security to each home.  Likewise, every city consecrated a fire to this nurturing goddess, a gathering place for the entire community.

Today, you don’t need support from your city to contact her, nor must you tend an eternal flame at your fireplace.  Call forth Hestia as you like, simply by making a sanctuary of your own heart, then asking her to appear.

Sanctuary is the quality I bring.  Feel how safe you are.  Any loved ones, any clients, in your space – you can all relax now.

To work most effectively with me, do exactly what you would otherwise do except for the worry.  Trust instead.  I can help you find a bigger freedom in your mind, your heart, your world.  May your actions move without impediment.

After you cut a cord of attachment, I bring healing warmth.  My fire will burn away impurities and troubles, old dangers, fears and pain of the past.  This fire can never harm the soul but, instead, brightens the light within and brings peace. 

10. Ascended Master Apollo

Lyre-playing Apollo was the Greek god of music and poetry, as well as prophecy.  In his honor stood a temple at Delphi, where wise and foolish alike went to consult with oracles.  There, even today, you can read Apollo’s famous instruction, carved in a gate: “Know thyself.”  Couldn’t this be the motto for all of us who cut cords of attachment – and for our clients as well?

I am a light-filled presence with contagious good cheer.  If you have any problem in life, bring it to me.  If you feel care-worn, do not feel that your worries need have a name.  Simply stand with me.  I may not always bring answers, but I will share a healing presence with you.  Among the Divine Beings, I am one of the empaths.  Feel how I connect with you, lovingly, going deep.

To work most effectively with me, bring trust.  If your trust is small, allow the possibility of greater trust.  Then bring your concerns.  Open wide the doorway in your heart, your mind or your soul.  Ask me to enter, and I will join with you, bringing respect and healing.  You may feel that I know you as others in your life have not.  You may feel that I make it easier for you to know yourself.

11. Ascended Master Isis

Goddess of motherhood and nature, her names are many.  In ancient times, she was revered throughout Egypt.  Call upon Isis now as Light-Giver of Heaven, Lady of the Words of Power, or She Who Knows How To Make Right Use of the Heart.  One exercise you might give yourself is to research goddesses with similar specialties: Demeter for the Greeks and Ceres, honored by the Romans.  From Isis, you will find a penetrating wisdom, like a mother who knows her child in ways that others can’t.

Knowing may be the first thing you feel when connected with me.  Yes, my knowledge extends to any concern you have, any relationship where you desire insight, any result that you aim to bring into earth.  A mother can be compassionate without a drop of sentimentality.  A mother can bring power, and the reassurance that comes from knowing how to support a young one.  Call upon me and I can be that mother to you.

To work most effectively with me, ask just once.  Each thought or word that you transmit will go far.  Yes, you may feel the results through your heart.  Or notice what happens next through your own being.

Relax.  Feel my power join with yours.  Isis is as strong now as ever I have been over many thousands of years.

After you cut a cord of attachment, you may notice a curious thing.  As usual, the bandage moves outward, built layer upon layer as you have learned to do with your client.  But that energy also moves deep within the body, again layer upon layer, permeating your client with comfort and peace.

12. Ascended Master Brother Francis

Gentle St. Francis, lover of animals, founded the Franciscan order.  He may be best known for the prayer that begins, “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.”

I am a presence of love and compassion, although tougher than many would think until they met me face to face.  Ask any Franciscan monk or nun.  Steel supports the kindness.  However lofty the cathedral, strength must be at the foundation.  Do not hesitate to call upon me when there is anger, fear or pain.

To work most effectively with me, call and then pause to receive my presence.  Open your heart, mind and soul.  For each of these aspects of yourself, only a little surrender is needed, like opening a window just a crack.

Will you be changed by bringing me in?  Perhaps. I am a team builder, and this is why you may feel me co-creating with you.  Many beings of light work independently, allowing you just to witness.  I invite more, invite friendship.

After you cut a cord of attachment, it can become a new start for your client.  Welcome in the tenderness of someone who, even while living on Earth, knew oneness.  For any client, and also for you as the healer, feel the Divine partnership.  You are always invited.  Co-create with me, and with the God in all.
