Ever since Air America Radio emerged as a force in American political life, I’ve been hoping to be interviewed on the upstart radio network, whether by Franken or by one of his colleagues. THE KIDS When the “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” movie comes out this month, it’s the perfect occasion to read the auras of the actors. Whose aura has magic? Auras, the energy fields around people, are packed with information about spirituality, communication talent, power style, and truthfulness. They show lifelong gifts of the soul, plus negative stuff (be it temporary or chronic) which can always be healed. Screen chemistry is just another word for extraordinary aura dynamics. Some performers wreak a kind of spiritual magic, transforming audiences through their auras; many actors simply broadcast sex appeal. Physical attributes have nothing to do with it. No amount of money can buy aura implants. So even the most talented actor can’t convincingly project a magical aura if it doesn’t exist. Here’s yet one more reason to develop your God-given talents for aura reading: To validate your hunches. And if there’s a big star whose apparent lack of talent has driven you nuts, could there be something superb in that aura? Find out. Sometimes fame and success come as a fluke, the celebrity’s good karma having perhaps been accumulated in a past lifetime but not evident in this one. Usually those careers don’t last. Meanwhile, your own career as an aura reader will have cumulative success. Read friends and relatives. Read pets. Read fruit and veggies in the supermarket. And definitely read the photos here before considering this aura reader’s chakra-by-chakra summaries. DANIEL RADCLIFFE (Harry Potter) Physical presence: Lucky boy, he’s strong, clear, honorable, healthy. From these photos, note however that Daniel is not the slightest bit shaken in his root chakra—which shows why the adorable teen is not among England’s greatest actors. Sexiness: [Note: It hasn’t escaped me that Daniel Radcliffe, like all three teen actors I’ll comment on here, is still in the throes of adolescence. So be aware that I’m reading them, not in terms of being sexually active but simply commenting on soul-level gifts that would impact performance. In films, sex sells—and not just because of love scenes.] Daniel’s sexiness is moderate, sweet. Nothing about it is publicly compelling. Instead, he shows qualities that would enhance his balanced, happy personal life. Intellect: Radcliffe is very bright, particularly because he combines understanding with a practical bent. Other assets are a strong physical intelligence and the ability to express abstract ideas through emotions. Emotions: Outrageous success hasn’t turned his head, or heart. Uncommonly kind, Daniel has managed to remain a very private person, not playing to crowds as an actor but playing for truth. He’s emotionally honest. Communication: Behold this actor’s biggest talent! As a communicator, he shows a talent for being particularly memorable. He can transmit ideas at extra-powerful frequencies. I find it fascinating that his aura shows effectiveness as a messenger more than being personally charismatic. So you’re more apt to remember the performance than him. Spiritually: Very aware, Daniel is one of the most spiritually-awake young stars in movies today. No dogma or fear shows, simply openness to the truth about life. Summary: With that sweet but not hugely charismatic aura, Daniel Radcliffe has great versatility. He could be successful in any field where it helped to have his special talent as a communicator. And if Hogwarts was really an option, he would surely have an owl deliver an acceptance letter. Even though I haven’t raved about charisma in his aura, keep in mind how remarkable it is for anyone to be that clear and balanced aurically, especially at such a young age and after years in the limelight. Remember what you were like as a teenager? I can, and nobody would have paid to check out my aura on screen. Actually, there’s a lot I didn’t say about Daniel Radcliffe’s aura--about pain, fear, confusion, etc. And that’s because such auric distortions aren’t there. I’m not saying he’s walking around emanating the solid gold of yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar (whose shimmering photo made my local newspaper, The Washington Post, the day I wrote this zine), but here is a young man whose aura is wonderfully clear. The same goes for every other cast member (but one) whom I’ll describe later in this issue. EMMA WATSON (Hermione Granger) Physical presence: Super feminine, delightfully intelligent, Emma is full of talent. Besides acting talent, she’s very gifted as an empath. (Advice to Emma, keep your day job. It pays better.) Although no gifts relate to physical forms of empathy, she has other empathic gifts, and to such a high degree that it pervades her entire aura. Thus, even her root chakra sings “Empath.” Sexiness: Yes, she has a strong teen version of sexiness. No hooks are in it though. (Sometimes people use their sex appeal more-or-less deliberately to get what they want. That includes many politicians and performers. But an aura reader can always tell if this is going on, helpful for keeping you from being pulled in. Hey, one more reason to read auras!) Intellect: Analytical thinking isn’t her forte so much as wonderful imagination. And intellectual empathy is another of Emma’s gifts. Emotions: Emotional oneness shows as Emma’s biggest gift as an empath. It’s easy for her to experience what’s going on with others, emotionally. If she were really studying at Hogwarts, this would help her to become a hugely compassionate witch. Emotionally, she’s intense, even tempestuous. All those teenage hormones accentuate the intensity of her emotional life. So does the requirement that she keep herself actress-skinny, creating a subtle degree of strain that shows all over her aura and probably is felt most strongly emotionally. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s a bit temperamental on the set. As an actress, Ms. Watson has cultivated a marvelous ability to focus her emotions. Did you ever place a sheet of paper under a glass, then move them both into the path of a sunbeam? Fires can be started that way. This is the closest analogy I can give you to what shows in Emma Watson aura, about how she can intentionally place herself energetically in position to transmit emotions while acting. Communication: Having learned a great deal about acting, Emma has become more aware than most of us that self-presentation can be situational. At the time of this photo, she is evidently struggling with who she really is, underneath that acting ability. Does she let people find her? Maybe not yet. Spirituality: Temporarily, Emma is closed off at the third eye. Indifference to spirituality shows, however, more than fear or dogmatic beliefs. Like many a successful person, she hasn’t yet gotten to the point of becoming a spiritual seeker. With that huge heart, she’d still be an asset to Hogwarts, and undoubtedly Mme. Pomfrey could give her a quick third eye opening. RUPERT GRINT (Ron Weasley) Physical presence: Gadzooks, that Rupert Grint is funny—with a sense of humor that is refreshing, irreverent and spontaneous. Humor permeates his aura, and at the root chakra level, curiosity adds zing. Aurically, Rupert is way bigger than either Daniel or Emma. At this chakra, his aura announces a significant physical presence. Sexiness: Big, earthy—this is another intense gift. Leading man-style sexual charisma doesn’t show but, especially as an adult actor, Rupert would have credibility in any serious love story. Intellect: Wildly intelligent, this young actor is creative and, again, potentially hilarious. Emotions: Admirably, Rupert is both sensitive and courageous emotionally when he acts. In other contexts, he’s protective of his heart, however. His aura suggests that, in real life, he is more apt to respond to situations intellectually than emotionally. Communication: Here we have the powerhouse ability to move energy that could fill a theater. Rupert can transform an audience when he acts. His talent is that huge. Spirituality: Spiritually big and divinely connected, Rupert’s aura is exquisite here. He reminds me of Haley Joel Osment, another child actor with a spiritual connection beyond that of most adults you’ll meet, in movies or outside of them. He’d be a credit to Hogwarts. OFFICIAL PUBLICATION DATE The book’s “Official Publication Date” will be in 2006, and at that time the book will first become available at Amazon and, when special ordered, at bookstores. MORE HOTSHOTS AT HOGWARTS Here’s a sneak preview, aurically, of two of the major grownups in the new Harry Potter movie. At this writing, no photos of either were available from “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” So we’ll just have to read this publicity shot. In the interest of full disclosure, the best pictures I could find for Michael Gambon and Ralph Fiennes was a still from “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and a publicity shot, respectively. Still, auras are auras, and they won’t be changed by a faceful of makeup. SIR MICHAEL GAMBON (Headmaster Albus Dumbledore) Physical presence: Very refined, extremely aware of his environment—Sir Michael has some magnificent qualities. Nonetheless, his aura shows a relatively small presence (as though he is dealing with health issues). Sexiness: Loyalty and a great capacity for passion are revealed at this chakra. Yet, at this time in his life, Sir Michael is projecting less than most adults do, sexually. Intellect: Strong intuitive skills and emotional sensitivity enrich Gambon’s thought process. He’s not just uncommonly flexible with his intelligence but a deep thinker. If you ever wanted to host a TV news show with the motto “Fair and Balanced,” I’d recommend him as an ideal interviewer. Emotions: Oboy, here comes another empath. Michael Gambon has Emotional Oneness galore. I also admire how much he has, personally, learned about the human heart. His aura whispers discretely that huge amounts of fear and pain have been overcome courageously. In that sense, his heart chakra is a triumph. Yet, his aura suggests carrying terrible heartbreak still, not yet healed. Communication: Sir Michael is a highly polished communicator. Yet he’s not at his best (again, perhaps due to health issues). At this chakra, as elsewhere in his aura, there is a noticeable lack of oomph. Most professions don’t involve screen chemistry; for them, this wouldn’t be a problem. Spirituality: Nope, not a big connection shows here, either. How ironic is this? The casting director must not read energy fields yet. More than any of the actors I’ve read here from the Harry Potter movies, the man who plays the Headmaster of Hogwarts has the aura of a muggle! RALPH FIENNES (Lord Voldemort) Like me, you may appreciate this actor more than ever by knowing that his full name is Ralph Nathanial Twisleton-Wykeman Fiennes. And what words emanate when I read his aura? Physical presence: Pure quicksilver, Ralph can transform himself into completely different ways of being human, down to the displays at his chakras. In addition, his root chakra makes a huge physical statement. Even if he were disguised--and completely apart from his fame--with a root chakra like this, Fiennes would make heads turn just by entering a room. Combine this compelling presence with the ability to morph his aura and voila! Mr. Twisleton-Wykeman Fiennes is an actor’s actor. Sexiness: Not only is his sexiness huge and memorable, but the quality of appeal is fascinatingly androgynous. Male or female, gay or straight, you can find your own vibe at Ralph’s belly chakra, and that energy is tantalizingly huge and transformative. Please note, I’m not making comments about the man’s personal sex life. This unusually universal sex appeal is a sacred gift that he brings to his career. Intellect: As a super-talented empath, Ralph shows Intellectual Shape Shifting. (Incidentally, his aura also includes Physical Oneness, Physical Intuition, Emotional Oneness, Emotional Intuition, and Spiritual Oneness.) And did I mention? He’s also brilliant, with a formidable combination of focus and detachment. Emotions: What a wild, huge emotional life shows at this part of Ralph’s aura! I particularly admire the learning encoded here. If you think it is easy to have his enormous empathic talent, acting talent, etc., think again. Better yet, read his heart chakra and be humbled. This man has chosen to learn major lessons about self-acceptance, forgiveness, and emotional stability. Now he would make a fine Dumbledore at my version of Hogwarts… or Harvard. Most human beings could stand to learn what he has to teach. Communication: The degree of talent evident here would be uncanny, except that it fits so perfectly with the rest of Ralph Fiennes’ aura. He can practically talk to your DNA. Spirituality: Let him pretend to be a dark wizard. A huge spiritual connection radiates out at Ralph Fiennes’ third eye. It proclaims that he is aligned with a God of love, with truth being expressed on that basis. In the role of a super-powerful wizard, he should do just fine. But don’t let his acting talent obscure this simple fact: As a soul, he specializes in joy. A FUNNY THING ABOUT BOOKSTORES... A reader emailed:
