Why This Blog?
September 3rd, 2007 by Rose Rosetree
Photos tell a deeper truth, if you let them. Often celebrities place media stories about how they are suddenly either good as new or else reinvented: Recovery from that rehab clinic? Instant spiritual conversion? Oh-so-over being bumped from that TV show?
For commentary, I’ll flash on that photo, but I won’t look in a way that lets me be manipulated. How many images are we shown every day? Most are expertly contrived to persuade us at the surface level, with pert expressions, stunning pose, flattering lighting, touch-ups, etc. But nobody can cover up what shows with deeper perception.
Well, let’s be counter-culture. Let’s seek a deeper truth. That’s the purpose of this blog.
DECLARE INDEPENDENCE
Often, a face proclaims positive news. Or unique talent shines out in an aura. We can check out a singer’s special excellence from a publicity photo. To research a musician or actor of renown, we can do the same. Through this blog, we can exchange what we learn, using deeper perception. Reading people deeper is one of the ultimate acts of independence.
Political figures, for instance, inspire great curiosity in me. Has there ever been more spin, more coaching? Read the political entries to this blog if you are concerned about the upcoming presidential election, if you’re a newly disgusted former conservative or if, like me, you happen to be a long-time, unapologetic and flamingly liberal Democrat.
Deeper perception, especially aura reading, could be a survival skill for the new millennium, and politics is one of the reasons why.
Other blog-times I want to discuss writers, great ones, living or dead (just not both at once). I am, after all, a recovering English major.
INTERACT
When someone inspires you or me, let’s find photos. Google Images works for me, and so do links to website pictures. Of course, we need to confine our conversations to public figures. If you want me to read your photo, I would be delighted to do that as the professional I am. There are many good choices.
(Since I don’t know how to put a link up on a blog yet to resources for this, I’ll point you here: http://www.rose-rosetree.com/orderrpts.htm . BTW, if you know a fancier, more elegant way to put in a link in WordPress, please write this as a comment.)
Certainly, when I am set to do a radio interview with free-for-all questions and, even readings, I will notify you right here, at this blog. (By then, hopefully, I WILL know how to put in fancier links.)
All over America and in many other countries as well, people are passionate about exploring deeper perception. Many are learning the potential of Energy Spirituality, the 21st century form of healing that depends on using your personal gift set to read people deeper. In this blog, we can discuss the use of deeper perception for your healing specialty, whether you are a psychotherapist or life coach, a Reiki healer, a hypnotist or regression therapist, an energy worker or chiropractor, whether you work with angels or with acupuncture needles.
Here is a way for us all to blog our hearts out, gathering stories—mine and yours—about deeper perception. Let’s share laughs and aha’s! Let’s grow together, make friends and create community. The main purpose of this blog is to nurture everyone’s talents for deeper perception, to open up a conversation that helps you discover for yourself the advantage of deeper perception made practical.

Thanks for starting this, Rose. I’ll be reading.
Thanks! You might enjoy a quiz I have developed about whether you are as perceptive as you think you are. It is at http://www.gotoquiz.com/how_deeply_do_you_read_people
I’m a 91% chick … no surprise there!
I’m featuring your blog on Snarkypants and will add to it when you get it all fancied up!
I scored 100% – I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, except that I am surprised that I got a higher percentage than Lisa! We probably only answered one question different, but I think she’s deeper than me.
I don’t know how to do the link in WordPress, but you need to create it as a hyper-text first to rename the URL address. Then make the link. Lisa may know how, since Snarkypants is also in WordPress.
Welcome to the blog-world. Lisa sent me.
I read people all the time and always have. Way cool stuff is happening, we cannot be discouraged by the media and all the bad news they promote.
Anita, thanks. Lisa and I did send some emails last night and she explained what to do. Now I’m working on my photo insert skills. See today’s post.
Rose!
I’m am so excited by this blog…I started a blog back in July. I still have no idea what I am doing. Thanks for your comment. I will be learning AND coming here often to learn even more.
I am now registered. yeah!
Hi, I’m glad to find this blog. I found out about Rose in 2004 in a presentation about aura reading, and this year emailed a picture of myself and got a face reading and aura reading. It was really interesting, and accurate in some ways I recognized. Oh yeah, I took the quiz and got 91%. So, I am looking forward to this blog and have bookmarked it.
Hi Rose – Terrific!
Test if you are an empath with my quiz ‘Are you an empath?’ at web.tickle.com/net/caq/quiz.html?id=13362207
Rose has looked through the questions and didn’t object, anyway it’s mainly a fun test. There have been more than 180 test-takers so far and the highest score has been 78%. Most Tickle tests are free and test results remain private if you choose so.
Rose, it is good to see that you have joined the blogging world. I hope all is well with you.
Mark, I like it on this world but wow, sometimes I am at risk for whiplash. So much to learn! Good to hear from you. Add your deep thoughts, Mark, please, to future posts!
