Which Aura? Cast Your Vote
November 28th, 2007 by Rose RosetreeYes, Blog-Buddies, I’m back. Not fully unpacked, nor caught up with the huge piles of mail on my desk, I’m still back. This means I can start reading people for the blog, again, whether auras or faces or, usually my fave, empathic merges.
Political ones will wait until the new year. Then, of course, I’ll be reading all the major presidential candidates.
Before the year ends, though, I would like to add 10 more blogs about other newsmakers and celebrities. Who interests you? Cast your “vote” by giving the name, the claim to fame, your personal reason.

I propose to read the aura of Donald Trump, the real estate tycoon, since he is so much in the public eye and loves to people ‘you’re fired’.
Two suggestions:
1) Joe Vitale, of “The Secret” fame. I’m continually seeing his articles and interviews on “hypnotic spiritual marketing,” making lots of money, simply erasing beliefs, etc, and would be curious to know how you read about his authenticity and motivations. I like the theory behind some of his writings, but something in the way he presents himself and the rapidity with which he seems to present new material turn me off a bit. Is he all hype, no substance?
2) Jackie Warner of the “reality” show, Work Out. As a trainer myself, I’ve found myself skeptical about her authenticity as well and doubt a lot of her trainers’ methods. Does she know something real or is this another case of hype? As a public presentation of a view from the “inside of the fitness industry,” can viewers really trust the presenter?

I am open-minded about his very controversial claims regarding DNA activation (yeah, big surprise), but he has some things in his aura I cannot quite figure out how to language.
I would really love for you to read the aura of Chris Cornell. He has been the lead singer of Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide and has been called “the single most dynamic rock ‘n’ roll force produced by the Grunge Revolution of the early ’90s.” (quote from msn music)
I went to an Audioslave concert, and his voice and performance blew me away. The energy that he created or facilitated in that auditorium was unbelievable. I felt like I had been permanently changed, transformed, uplifted. For days afterwards I felt “high” off of that concert. When I went back to work the next day, I felt like I was just filling a role or pretending to be someone. I didn’t know how to bring that kind of energy into my “everyday” life; the concert and my job felt like two different planets.
I’d love for you to read Oprah Winfrey’s aura. I’m still intrigued by the big aura/weight question, wondering if her struggles with weight over the years have been related to her big aura.
Also, it would be fun for you to read Sonia Choquette’s aura. She is a gifted psychic with lovely energy. A bunch of other folks come to mind whom I’ll list…this summer’s movie, “Hairspray,” came to mind, with Nikki Blonsky playing the lead. The tale of how she manifested that part is great fun and I’ve found her energy to be intriguing (4 planets in Scorpio, for the astrologically inclined). John Travolta would be fun…Barbara Walters…Ellen DeGeneres….Billy Crystal…Jerry Seinfeld….John Lassiter (the head of Pixar animation studios, brilliantly creative guy, considered a modern Walt Disney)…any of these folks would be fascinating.
Eckhart Tolle: a modern-day mystic. He emphasizes on focusing on the present moment and to be free from the limitations of time - pretty hard to do when most people have so much baggage! I am very curious on whether he’s the “real thing,” but I also think his philosophy is amazing.
Dear Folks,
I finally made it into my apartment in the harbor of Portsmouth Va.(my temporary residence while I work at the CHKD in Norfolk for the next three months).I am surrounded by water and the place is elegant! Now on to the auras.
I would like to see Rose read the aura of Kanye West (who just lost his mother,Donda West). I do not believe in the concept of soul mates as it has been overly romanticized. I feel that there are many who can be in a relationship such as this…even mother and son.
I wonder about the relationship of Kanye to his mother from the perspective of deeper perceptiom.
Welcome home to the USA Rose!!! I loved the stories from Japan and read everyone of them. I know your students received so much from you,(and you them)!!!
Oh, Blog Buddies, I’m loving all the ideas. Thanks to all of your for writing.
Colleen, you have landed! Excellent!
Keep in mind, everyone, I’m still landing, too, with piles of things to do before I do much blogging. Glad some Guest Posts are here meanwhile.
I still read every comment with huge interest, even when I can’t respond.
Dear Ann,
I second any of the people you mentioned, including Oprah for the same reason you stated. There are some very good suggestions here.
It has been a while since I have blogged. I’m spending time going over all my critical care neonatology…I’ve had several dry periods in the last year or so and I need to stay fresh. Bless all of you!
Colleen
I second Joe Vitale or somebody else from The Secret hype-a-thon.
Oprah Winfrey would be a good choice also. I think she is a good person, but she seems to be very preoccupied with material success despite her overt and covert claims that she understands what is “really important” in life.
Kanye West would be cool…
I just saw a commercial for Barbara Walters’ 2007 Most Fascinating People show on next week…That looks to be a good line up! And a great opportunity to practice…
I also think it would be fun to read Paris Hilton to see what’s really going on in there.
There are already plenty to choose from, but the question brought up so many others it would be great fun for you to read, Rose. Brad Pitt is another one. He strikes me as disingenuous with his humanitarianism.
And for some reason, I’m very intrigued by comedians…Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes…then there’s Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts…and I’ll stop now!!
Whomever you choose will be great fun to read about.
I would like to see an aura reading of movie director Kevin Smith, because I am a fan of his work, and also I get a good feeling from him (although I wouldn’t say that I know how to read auras), which is just to say that he seems like a likeable person. I will probably think of more people later.
What about doing a profile of Caroline Myss?
There’s also Will Ferrell and Steve Carrell.
I’m intrigued by the auras of comedians who are incredibly funny in actually a very subversive way, yet who don’t resort to meanness or cynicism for their humor. I loved your reads on Steven Colbert and Jon Stewart.
Would also love a read on Jake Gyllenhaal. I sense an old soul quality in him. And George Clooney.
OOOOH! Karin - what an AWESOME suggestion! I am a big fan of Caroline’s work and (like Wayne Dyer), I can see a HUGE shift in her perspectives over the years. I like that as they grow and change, they share those experiences and allow us to follow along on our own path.
WOW … I’d LOVE to see this one.
Everybody, here’s an idea. Why don’t YOU do a face reading or empathic merge or aura reading on one of the people mentioned so far. It doesn’t have to be MY deeper perception alone on this blog, you know.
Why not read a bit and share with your Blog-Buddies?
Oh, oh! AnnH’s suggestion of psychic Sonia Choquette is good, but how about psychics Sylvia Browne or Char Margolis?
Everybody, here’s an idea. Why don’t YOU do a face reading or empathic merge or aura reading on one of the people mentioned so far.
But yours are so detailed and fun. Maybe I will dig up the aura readings I posted in my short-lived blog and submit them as guest posts.
Dear Ryan:
Thank you for all your comments today. I’m especially happy at the prospect of your posting your aura readings. Yes, I’m glad you like when I do them, but I’m just one person, one person, one person. And every aura reader, yourself included, brings a valuable perspective.
Show our lurkers that you can do this, too!
[…] “I’d love for you to read Oprah Winfrey’s aura. I’m still intrigued by the big aura/weight question, wondering if her struggles with weight over the years have been related to her big aura.” AnnH, you’re the one to make this request, […]
Ohh yeah I personally would LOVE to see a reading on Sylvia Browne! There are so many followers and there seems to be some mystery to her, something hidden. I dunno. But I am anxious for the readings on the presidential candidates, that will be most informant! *hugs* Everyone! CindySue (Mystic44)
Someone else popped into my head today…Drew Carey. He said in an interview after getting the gig as the host of “The Price is Right” that one of the reasons they chose him is because he “has good empathy skills.” He’s someone who’s gone through a lot of transformation and strikes me as being very comfortable in his skin.
What about the aura of Leslie Nielsen, or find out who will win the apprentice contest of Donald Trump?
FROM KYOKO-SAN:
I am going to give you my vote for your aura reading. Keanu Reeves is the one.
I thought he might be a good example for being an opposite of Britney Spears. They both are in the show business even one is a singer and the other one is an actor.
Keanu seems to be doing much better than Brit. Why? Better grounded? Less cords of attachment? More enlighted? (Keanu actually acted a role as young Budda in the movie called “LIttle Budda.”)
I’m kinda curious to find out the reasons for it in auric terms.
I hope you’ll take my vote, Rose.
Elaine Aron has put up a new picture on her site http://www.hsperson.com. She has some interesting facial features. An aura reading of her combined with a face reading would be good.
I happened to catch a bit of Al Gore on TV tonight giving an impassioned speech on global warming and it occurred to me that it would be fascinating to do face and aura readings on him, comparing his vice-presidential days to today.
I’m interested in Martha Stewart, especially concerning growth since her brief prison stint. No matter what one feels about her she is very good at what she does and has so many ideas swimming around in that head of hers! I knew she would be able to handle the prison experience. Wealthy she may be, but she wasn’t always that way and she is not afraid of hard work.
I propose to read Jeanne of the artists ‘Christo and Jeanne’.
What about some comedians like Eddie Murphy, Leslie Nielsen, Steve Martin and Meg Ryan?
Karin, thank you for all your ideas. I wonder if our other Blog-Buddies realize that you are based in the E.U. All this despite your flawless English and your savvy about American culture. I’m so glad you came here for an Intensive in 2007!
I second Martha Stewart….I suspect something not quite as potent, but along the lines of Kanye West. Being into power and going after what she wants. I’ve always had a sense that the backlash against her has been because she’s a woman who’s worked hard to go after what she wants and has been successful…with the context being a traditionally female realm, the home. It really would be interesting to see how her aura changed from the prison experience.
How about Michael Jackson? He was recently on the cover of Ebony magazine. Tyra Banks, Alicia Keys, Kurt Cobain, Trent Reznor, Syliva Browne and recently deceased jazz drummer, Max Roach would be interesting as well.
Thanks.
Oooh, all very good suggestions, MiWi! Michael Jackson would be fascinating, especially comparing the dramatic changes he’s undergone.
Oh my, there on the cover of Time magazine today is a huge photo of Vladimir Putin as Person of the Year. That would be an interesting read of face and aura.
