Aura Reading Leaves the Parlour
February 2nd, 2008 by Rose Rosetree
If you Google on “aura” you’ll find that most websites still refer to auras as “beautiful, radiant colors, seen clairvoyantly.” Also, “these colors may even be linked to emotions or health.”
Wow! Seeing those colors really separates the spiritual elite from mere mortals, doesn’t it? Supposedly.
Often the outdated definition uses this spelling: “colour.” Which is just perfect. Because aura gazing is best done in your parlour. In England. Especially a century ago.
People who seek to read auras, or start seeing those colours, are seeking for a very special kind of experience. Think of going to the celestial realms and paying a call. One aspires to an other-worldly perception, nearly an out-of-body experience while still in the body. What else may be involved? Straining and struggling and wearing white clothes, ultra-pure diet. Altogether the ‘tude of a devout seeker.
This reverent approach reminds me of when I do aura readings and workshops for clients in Japan. There, even a stalwart business executive may turn to mush at the thought of seeing…Mt. Fuji.
Please, keep the sweetness of your old traditions. Maintain an elegant parlour, too, if you must. Most people today don’t want to dedicate a large room to the formal greeting of guests who bring their oh-so-elegantly printed calling cards. Hello! It’s 2008. Let me introduce you to “aura” today.
In This Century
Today is a typical work day for me. I’ll be doing a few Personnel Profiles for a long-term business client.
He sends me a snapshot of a prospective employee. I read the applicant’s aura and face, then email my client insights from three different lie detector tests, plus whether or not this person takes drugs, gauging the employee’s emotional stability (or not) and more.
Another client wants a plain vanilla Aura Report of her latest boyfriend. She, too, has emailed a regular photograph as a basis for my reading.
This will include descriptions of how he deals with power in a love relationship, his emotional openness and – cover your eyes, Victorians — what the man is like as a lover.
Are you starting to get the picture? Auras are loaded with information. Depending upon your goal when reading them, the very kind of information you seek, very accurate in-depth information, can be yours.
That’s what matters to me, not being able to brag to my client, “I saw so many colours.”
How can you read the colours in a regular photograph? I don’t. I’m reading the aura. It’s a hologram of subtle energy around the physical body. Any regular photo captures this perfectly. If you are literate in this particular way, you can read at will.
Let’s Define Auras TODAY
Auras are more than colours. Your aura is a set of energy bodies around your physical body. Yes, this is subtle, but human beings have evolved a lot since the days of the great Charles Webster Leadbeater and other famous olde English psychics.
I have taught thousands of people how to read auras in depth and detail. It isn’t just getting vague vibes off somebody’s energy. You can deliberately go into any chakra you choose and read auras for health, personality insight, self-knowledge, and more. These days, I’m teaching students how to read 50 different databanks of information in any major chakra.
Loads of information is here and, depending on your own personal gift set, you will find useful insights in your own way. I offer a variety of techniques to help people find their way in, including how to read auras from regular photographs.
It’s a quaint notion that aura readers have the job requirement of full-colour clairvoyance. If you believe this, do you also believe that well-bred ladies must be “accomplished,” perhaps playing the harp to show off their neat wrists?
Today’s educators understand the concept of “learning styles.” Different people learn
differently, have multiple intelligences. Some of my students do see colors, along with their other perceptions. I don’t. To use a technical term, “Who cares?”
I’m living proof that aura reading does not have to involve “seeing the colours.” Using the gifts that God actually gave me, I’ve been able to help many people as clients or students or both. My favorite tribute so far came after one of my 800+ media interviews. I read auras of politicians for a
Does Healing Have to Wait?
Many people today are waiting for their idealized dream of reading auras. Perhaps they once read “The Celestine Prophecy,” and ever since they’ve kept hoping that eventually they will be evolved enough to see colours.
Other people meet in psychic development groups, month after month, straining to “develop the gift.” What don’t they know?
- Seeing auras in colour may be a gift they just plain don’t have.
- That particular gift isn’t necessary to become a superb aura reader.
- And while they wait, they’re missing out. On knowledge. On healing.
-
Ironically, the best-quality aura reading is effortless, easy, and fun.
And speaking of healing, my schedule for today includes a phone session of Aura Transformation. The client will tell me her intention. Then I will facilitate healing at the level of her aura. Emotional and spiritual problems can be moved out permanently. I coined the term Energy Spirituality for the kind of healing that can be done with auras as the point of entry. Often that involves cutting cords of attachment.
CORDS OF ATTACHMENT
Last night, I did a phone session for a woman whose ex-lover practiced voodoo. No kidding! My client was terrified. For months, she had been trying to get help. Meanwhile, her life had been turned upside down.
After I cut the cord of attachment from the ex-lover, I proceeded to describe in detail the bizarre energies that had tormented my client.
Things began to turn scary with “Strange random moments when you catch him sneering at you, or staring, or emotionally tuned out into some weird space.”
My client recognized it all. He was so relieved to hear me to describe energies that were now gone from his aura.
But what is a cord of attachment, for starters? It is a structure on the level of auras that re-circulates negative energies (not usually this strange) from a relationship. A skilled healer who reads auras can remove cords permanently.
In fact, my latest book, Cut Cords of Attachment, offers a do-it-yourself method I have called 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment®. A bit of aura reading is required, but this isn’t hard, not if you’re using contemporary techniques, like the ones in that book. So many of us today have found our way in. We are pushing the boundaries of human learning and healing, making so-called “extra-sensory perception” a part of everyday life.
YOUR INVITATION
You may already know what I am writing about. Aura reading isn’t just some quaint hobby or metaphysical curiosity. It is a nitty-gritty skill for making life better. There are many practical uses for this kind of perception.
Maybe you have seen wonders, worthy of the most sublime parlour. Or perhaps you have heard, felt, touched, known from auras, not seeing anything of consequence but changing lives with your deep perception.
We are so fortunate to live at a time of transformation for humankind, where we can evolve so quickly. Aura reading brings miracles, sometimes. Other times, it just brings the sweet kind of story you want to sit and tell by the home hearth, whether that be located in a parlour or not.
You’re invited to share your aura tales by commenting below. As always, I’ll be reading with interest.

I find the colors concept of auras to be very limiting. The number of noticeably different colors that the human eye can see is rather limiting, and I have never been fond of memorizing lists. Of course, if colors are in your inner dictionary, then that is fine, but otherwise I do not find colors to be particularly useful since auras contain huge amounts of information that cannot be described by colors alone.
At the same time I find some of your prior writings rather contradictory where you wrote about experiences with an aura cam, especially the part where you said “The indigo frequency relates to spiritual exploration, with turquoise connected with Rose’s communication abilities and the green with healing.”
He [long-term business client] sends me a snapshot of a prospective employee. I read the applicant’s aura and face
Is this client in the USA? I thought employers are not allowed to take pictures of applicants until after applicants are hired, unless maybe this client’s business is small enough that it is exempt from such employment laws.
I found Rose’s books online when I became interested in aura reading. Before I found her books, I was simply searching for a book with substance. I searched and searched and searched… I found pretty, colorful pictures of auras and chakras, Kirlian photographs, information on Indigo children, NDEs, walls, shields, and I can’t even remember what else. I thought, so maybe I’m an Indigo child with a red aura and a big impenetrable shield: so what?
So I kept searching and searching… finally I found, first, Rose’s book Empowered by Empathy. And the funny thing is, I knew from looking at the picture that this book was loaded, that it was really going to help me because it had substance.
What I’m saying is, after all of the searching through colored auras to find Rose’s book, the way that I chose it was through aura reading (touchy sight, Clairsentience) that didn’t involve seeing “colours”!!! And I didn’t even know I was doing it! How ironic:) And awesome.
Ooh, Ryan, you caught me. I was using my own inner dictionary. I didn’t mean to imply it was everyone’s.
Excellent catch!
Dana, thanks for both your posts today. There is LOTS of humor in the realm of deeper perception.
Yes, Ryan, that client is offshore.
It is interesting what is considered legal and what isn’t in the American workplace today, isn’t it?
