well, you know I just HAVE to pipe up about Life Purpose, given that it's one of the foundations of the work I do with clients. I agree that it has a place in pop culture which is probably misplaced. There are so many definitions and I think a proper understanding of what Life Purpose is and is not is necessary.

Life Purpose is not the answer to all your problems.

Life Purpose is not why God or any other being put you here.

Life Purpose is not your mission.

Life Purpose is not what you are supposed to do.

Learning your Life Purpose reveals what energizes you when you express or use your talents to connect with society and create something (which can be a tangible or intangible).

Life Purpose provides context for goals.

Life Purpose provides perspective for making decisions that resonate with your authentic self.

Life Purpose is a source of inspiration and, at times, can be a comfort when overwhelmed and not sure what to do.

Knowing your Life Purpose empowers you to flow with life in a way that honors who you are on a deep level (some might say a soul level….but that phrase can be interpreted different ways, too). It establishes your relationship with yourself and with society or something larger and balances the "doing" and "being" in your life.

Hi Colleen,

We are definitely in an era of over-prescribing right now, a "biological" era, so to speak.

I love reading all your comments.

Dear Rose,

I went back and re-read your article of 2002 on empathic psychopharmacology. I even have several
print outs of this article. It obviously appeals to me and I think that it is something I could do in the future. Do you still offer something like this to clients (as you did in the article)?

I'll bet something like this would really come in handy when Anita prescribes medication for her clients as a psychiatrist. Personally, I think medications are important, but the overuse of adult medications for children around the age of 5
or younger scares me. I experienced this when I worked in behavioral health(while I was still working in NICU too).

COLLEEN: Those personal mentorings are always fun. You just choose what you wish to learn, of the various things I teach, and then choose if you want a 55-min. session by phone or you'd prefer to come here (or call in) for the special 5-hour marathon version.

Yes, you've understood correctly that the Intensives themselves are required for the official Mentoring Program in Energy Spirituality.

Rose,
I cannot attend "the last one of the year" aura reading class! I will be traveling back to Ky. for an annual spiritual retreat part of that time.
Can a mentoring session be the next best thing?
I would imagine that a personal mentoring session
would really help me, but would not count as one of the prerequisites for energy spirituality training.
