What Regression Therapy Has Taught Me
May 1st, 2008 by Rose Rosetree
You might call it “pure Hell” but I would call it “pure Earth.” In a session of Regression Therapy, I guided “Daisy” through a tortured life of uncontolled drinking, joyless sex, with a keen desire for escape that never was satisfied.
Daisy didn’t even succeed at suicide, or so she thought. After she drank the goblet of poison, and her body went numb, she hovered around the room in her light body. More frightened and trapped than ever before, Daisy also felt confused. She seemed stuck in time and space, unable to move forward.
Gradually the nightmare lifted. Moving into the light, somehow, helped by someone she didn’t even recognize, Daisy found herself moving freely, finally able to leave the death chamber. Soon she had moved forward to a place of compassionate understanding, where she could look back on lessons learned in that life.
HEALING AND LEARNING
Next, I guided my client, “Joanie,” through a process to release all the remaining frozen blocks of energy from that incarnation as Daisy. Together, Joanie and I had spent an entire session revisiting that lifetime, removing one frozen block after another.
Such is the joy of Energy Release Regression Therapy, as learned from my mentor Dr. Coletta Long. In every session with clients, there are always discoveries.
- Clients who don’t even believe in reincarnation have had vivid experiences of one or more past lives.
- Other clients have moved into lifetimes in non-human bodies, releasing frozen blocks of energy in wildly shaped bodies; their alien worlds seem to come straight out of science fiction. Except afterwards the results are real for this human life.
- One client who suffered for 30 years from severe allergies was cured after just one session. Health problems, social problems, sexual problems, weight problems, relationship problems, money problems – there’s a huge list of real-life, this-life problems that have been healed from the simple journeys with my clients taken in my healing room in Northern Virginia.
From all this, I have learned a lot about people… and healing… and history. Guiding my clients through these experiences, it’s ironic because I’m the sort of person who won’t watch violent movies or suspenseful TV shows. Hey, I even turn away from kissing scenes. Yet, through this work, I have been present at rapes, incest events, murders, battlefields, etc.
Guess my feeling always was, “Why watch what isn’t any of my business?” So of course I would routinely tune out TV news where the broadcasters decide, “If it bleeds, it leads.” Watching such things doesn’t help a thing. The difference now is that I watch but I also can help.
NO WORRIES
But I woke up this morning thinking about one main thing that I have learned from all these sessions of Past-Life Regression Therapy. This world is all one big school house. It’s only school. Every single day, you and I are going to school.
It wasn’t enough to go through many sessions of regression therapy as a client, with Coletta Long, Susan Kingsley-Rowe, and my wonderful colleague here in Northern Virginia, Darshan Kaur Khalsa. Something about being present as a facilitator has made the difference.
This place really is a school. No matter how vivid and intense, how hopeless or frightening, no matter how dull, life here is never only what it seems. To call it “Illusion” is way too abstract. This is one of God’s mega movie theaters. Nothing can feel more vivid than human life through all your senses, with human emotions, being wired for sexuality and all sorts of other appetites.
Based on what I’ve learned so far, I can promise: You WILL take it with you. By the end of a lifetime, you’ll keep every spiritual tie, every bit of learning and light and kindness. Otherwise the whole set of Earth School relationships will be over for you.
As Coletta says, “You will always be in some kind of body somewhere.”
REASSURANCE NEEDED NOW
So why this blog post now? Why write it today?
Today I’m sending out the May issue of my monthly e-zine, “Reading Life Deeper” to thousands of readers. This is my most intense zine issue ever. (That means “most intense” out of monthly in-depth articles I have published regularly since 2002.)
I do invite you to subscribe. Consider whether the things I have noticed could possibly be true. Then, if you agree, do what you can to help. But no lasting worries, ever. Not if it’s true, what I have learned from decades presiding over sessions of Regression Therapy and Energy Spirituality.

There was a soul retrieval because it felt like that there was a part missing. A few months later at a workshop there was assistance with the removal of a couple of blockages after it was possible to stand perfectly bolt upright feeling about 10ft tall. Feet felt like they were glued to the floor and everybody looked like zombies. Shortly after I imploded and hit some amazing depths, during the initial period there was a lack of sleep for 3 days.
During one particularly tumultuous night the cat which quite often sleeps by my feet was on my pillow. I moved her to the bottom of the bed, she got upset and moved instantly to the pillow after doing this again with exactly the same result, I thought “okay cat, stay on the pillow”. It became clear why – during the night of energetic onslaught as blockages were released and energy surged to the brain which I was struggling to handle. This little paw rested on my head – ahh such relief As the energy surged through the body towards the brain and I thought “oh no here we go again” the paw was applied with amazing results this happened continuously throughout the night.
Things were chaotic for a while, there were periods when things eased and periods when things got worse. After about 8 months things eased considerably for which I was very thankful. During the “storm”, sleep if I was lucky was 2 hours per night for days on end which is not ideal whilst trying to keep a job. After about 12 months things were greatly improved and then again later on.
It is at times like this we wonder what it is all about, occasionally insight occurs. It was a one event about 13 months later with a certain N. D. Walsch that a realisation occurred. Neale was talking about the film “What dreams may come” (Wife dies and creates a self-hell, husband goes there to save her) there was this sudden knowingness - that was exactly happened to me. It raises more questions, literally hundreds of.
After booking for the event shortly before I was due to attend there was this ball of light explosion as someone dropped into say hello. It would be nice one day to have a full understanding. There were so, so many frozen blocks of energy. There are still a couple left but I am releasing these by placing my fingers over them and just paying feeling attention.
The above article triggered a few more insights and a bit more peace – So Thank you Rose and and Thank you “Joanie”.
Why write the above – Over the past 2 years there have been many moments of peace and understanding as a result of something someone has said or written at just the right time. So in the spirit of things if it is possible to pass this on then party on.
Brian
It sounds like your cat is a healer, or was at least trying to help you feel better. Pretty interesting that she had some idea about what was going on.
Brian,
Thank you for your comment - it helps to read others’ stories of intense healing. And some things that you said came at the “right time” for me:)
Rose, it certainly did help to read this post before reading your e-zine and just in general. This part was especially motivating:
“Based on what I’ve learned so far, I can promise: You WILL take it with you. By the end of a lifetime, you’ll keep every spiritual tie, every bit of learning and light and kindness.”
Michael Newton wrote something like that, it was roughly, “What you learn in this lifetime you take with you for all eternity.” That was a huge belief-changing idea for me. Whenever I am able to think that big, it is a comforting thought and helps make difficult times more meaningful. It also makes me want to live a better life because I will take everything with me (the spiritual ties). It is also helps to think that I will take even the small moments of love with me, even those entangled in my “bad” decisions.
Hi jenmcp,
She sure was trying to help me feel better. But then we have existed in the same space for about 16 years so you do get to love one another. She is also quite an intelligent cat. As a specific healer cat I’m not sure. Possibly she may have been just “cat”, basically being and doing what she is/ comes naturally.
Cats seems to be naturally tuned into energy. If I play with her and say send angry, negative thoughts into my hand she will swipe at me and run off. If I send loving peaceful thoughts into my hand she purrs and will let me tickle her belly.
Think at times she is more enlightend than us humans.
I have a theory that people who use energy psychology (e.g. Emotional Freedom Techniques) and possibly other energy-based healing modalities such as the verbal energy healings taught in your workshops and physical forms of healing (e.g. Reiki, Healing Touch) will have fewer frozen blocks of energy in future lifetimes. Such tools have certainly helped reduce the amount of “baggage” I have presently.
RYAN, I agree that it is always worthwhile to remove baggage!
Here is my perspective, as someone who has done some EFT, Reiki and Healing Touch, plus Donna Eden-style Energy Medicine (which I like even better than Reiki and Healing Touch).
All of these are especially useful after a person has removed:
*Cords of attachment
*Astral debris (Technical point, Ryan: The verbal healings that I teach for this might be mistaken for affirmations, but aren’t. They are ways to connect up with Divine Beings and astral energies in order to move the astral-level problems out. As your expertise grows by using what you were taught, you will experience this with increasing clarity.)
*Frozen blocks of energy at the cellular level; these are (IMHO) too deep to be accessed by the methods you mention, wonderful as they are.
In short, these three types of difficulty are structural problems that impact a person’s aura. For complete healing, they must be removed at the appropriate level.
However, as the system is clearer, all these methods can produce their full results for healing.
In the work of a true expert at any of these modalities, e.g., Reiki, it might be possible to completely move out all perceived discomfort. At the physical level, one could rewire the body-mind-spirit to function way better, producing wonderful results. Still, the underlying cause of emotional difficulty remains. (With lesser expertise, results will be a fraction but still worthwhile for removing baggage.)
Here are a couple of examples for perspective.
ONE: If “Jim” has a cord of attachment to his mother, he might successfully use EFT to discharge the discomfort he deals with on a daily basis. When that cord is properly cut, he will no longer receive 25 lbs./day of frustration from his mother straight into his aura. Then, if he feels uncomfortable, the EFT can clear up the cause.
TWO: Jim has issues in his life around feeling rejected. He can use EFT to deal with the feelings, again and again.
However, as long as he carries frozen blocks at the cellular level, he will continue to attract situations that result in rejection. He will continue to follow subconscious patterns that cause him to behave in ways that create experiences of rejection.
Thus, EFT could be an excellent survival tactic for him. But it would really work best if he removed the frozen blocks. Then he could use EFT to keep himself clear.
Speaking of that Intensive where I teach Energy Healings, the last one for this year is coming up sooooooon.
This set of healings can be used just to keep yourself clear. It’s indispensible if you work with clients, whether as a volunteer or professionally. And I leave that term “client” pretty open ended.
If you’re a car mechanic, you have clients — and astral entities in the cars you’re working on, entities who might otherwise come home with you. Also, you have to deal with negative thought forms and a host of other astral-level problems.
Live with them? Deal with them? Or wouldn’t you rather be able to diagnose which is happening when and remove it for good?
