Contest for Olympics: Aura Readings, Also Reading Faces
August 11th, 2008 by Rose Rosetree
Blog-Buddies, those fascinating Olympics are upon us. So many people to read and so little time… unless one wanted to make watching the games a full-time job.
Which athlete interests you most? Choose your fave. Then, please, provide a link to a straight-on photo, showing the face and throat (at a minimum) of your favorite and say why you’re interested in this particular athlete.
Aura readings can help us to appreciate the special qualities of these extraordinary human beings. I’ll also be reading faces, if the athlete is at least 18.
I’ll read at least two of these, based on the number of entries for the athlete, reasons for your interest, and also the clarity of the photo links submitted. Let’s consider these entries a contest for being read here at “Deeper Perception Made Practical.”
The contest will close one week from today, on August 18. You may enter as often as you wish.

I propose Roger Federer, and his photo (the first one on that page) can be found at:

Oh, good choice! Roger is said to be the best tennis player in the history of the sport. I’m curious about him too.
BETSY, I’m glad you wrote. Remember, though, when you add a choice I need you to also add a photo link that could be used to do the reading.
(Yes, I know that ANONYMOUS already added a link, but I don’t count an entry unless it comes with your own link that you have found.)
The reason, Betsy, and others, for my request, is that I usually spend as long, or longer, finding those photos on Google images or wherever. I need your help to be able to use my blogging time to do the actual readings for thise incredible athletes.
Thanks for writing, Betsy and Anonymous!
Dara Torres, since she’s the oldest woman (at 41) to make the Olympic swim team.
Here are two rather different pictures. I couldn’t decide which was best:

Rose here comes the exact link for the photo of Roger Federer.

Swimmer Michael Phelps. This was one of the best links I could find:

Here’s a good picture of Roger, straight on and pretty large, as he accepts the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year award:

[...] “Phelps Is Now Without Peer” cheers today’s headline in The Washington Post, and if that weren’t reason enough to choose him for face reading today, there would be Anita’s fine nomination in our ongoing contest, where she supplied three excellent photo links. (To add your fave, click here.) [...]
I also nominate Michael Phelps. I am interested in how he prepares for his races, the place he goes inside him just before he swims. Yes, he is 6′7″ and has a lot of natural talent, but he is so consistent and focused. Natural talent certainly isn’t everything. I have watched a lot of athletes who are “supposed” to win gold, but you can see them get nervous before the race; they carry this huge weight on their shoulders.
So I chose photos of Phelps preparing for his races and one photo of him swimming because I thought it would be neat to read what that experience is like for him.

Thanks, Rose! I love this reading. One of the reasons I chose Phelps is because he has such a distinctive face.
Keep those comments and links coming, Blog-Buddies. We are our own Olympic of Deeper Perception. I’ve already done the first post, a face reading of Phelps, just because he was most timely.
I’ll be adding in his aura today, and then that tennis guy!!! Love/love is the score.
