Five Specialties, You, and Aura Reading

October 14th, 2008 by Rose Rosetree

Rose Rosetree, Aura Reading, reading auras, how to read aurasDeeper Perception Made Practical is a blog community for those of you with an interest in Aura Reading, Empath Empowerment, Face Reading, developing skill so that you can permanently Cut Cords of Attachment, etc. There are myriad ways that you can use your built-in gifts as a person to make life better, and I support them all.

Personally, I find the Regression Therapy sessions that I do in metro D.C. (Northern Virginia) are an especially enjoyable application of reading people deeper. Phone sessions of Energy Spirituality are another. And hosting this blog community is yet another.

I’m curious about what YOU do with Deeper Perception. How do YOU make it practical?

Today I was writing a description of one of my books for an E-book edition. (Yes, if I make my self-imposed publishing deadline, by the end of today Let Today Be a Holiday will join the list of Kindle Editions, moving up Amazon’s publishing queue.)

In that thoughtful kind of mood, I started reflecting on my personal specialties using the above-mentioned skill sets. The purpose of this survey is to learn which of you can relate to these specialties.

You see, when I do healing sessions for clients, I’ve noticed that certain groups of people are especially drawn to my work. Could you belong to one or more of these five groups?

    1. Spiritually-oriented people who are finally ready to claim their own human lives.
    2. Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) who have found hope that their human lives could be stable, fulfilling, and rewarding, not only sensitive.
    3. Empaths, already studying specific techniques for Empath Empowerment. Yet they need a little more personal, common-sense help to grow fully into… their own human lives
    4. Ex-cult members, or others who realize they have been extremely influenced by authority figures, gurus, religious leaders or others. They want to keep the good. They also have a burning desire to… grow more deeply into their own human lives.
    5. East-Meets-West people, first- or second-generation Asian-Americans – or clients who live in Japan, India, China, Philippines, etc. yet somehow have found me and my work. I salute you courageous souls who are leaders at making this important synthesis of consciousness. If you’re an East-Meets-West person, you were raised to be aware of others, thoughtful, polite, etc., and now you are struggling to keep this great part of your heritage. But you also seek to think for yourself, speak up for yourself, in short… to grow more deeply into your own human life.

Gee, why might I attract such people? Maybe it helps that I am:

    • A lifelong spiritual seeker
    • An HSP who was among the first to write a magazine review about Dr. Elaine Aron’s pioneering work
    • A late bloomer (Does first pregnancy at 42 give a clue? See an old photo of me with the boy at the top of this blog post.)
    • Someone who was involved in a cult for 17 years, then successfully exited. (Ask any expert on deprogramming and you’ll find that making a full break is not the same thing as physically moving away from having contact with a cult.)
    • A first-generation American on my father’s side (both grandparents German) and second-generation American on my mother’s side (Lithuanian grandpa, British grandma).
    • A Westerner who has, since childhood, loved spiritual practices from the East, I might perhaps even be considered an East-Meets-West person. Yoicks! (As this Kindle edition goes to press, I am getting ready for trip #8 to Japan, teaching workshops and doing sessions. Last week I signed my fifth foreign-rights book contract for India.)

What about you? What specialties do you have, akin to those mentioned here? Comment away!

    LINKS

Develop skills as an empath with this simple, inexpensive tutoring session between pages, Empowered by Empathy. In America or Canada, you can order it 24/7 with a toll-free number: 800-345-6665. Or use this magic empath button to order online. (Just teasing about that name. It’s regular old ordering, with money, that helps to keep me blogging and, otherwise, doing this wonderful work.)

If you prefer audiobooks, you’re in luck with the audio edition of Empowered by Empathy. And you can hear a free sample by scrolling down the page to which this link takes you.

Sometimes an empath-in-training will prefer personal mentoring. This can be done over the phone or in person. Empath Empowerment is a skill set, not just a wish. It takes some learning, and the great thing about study of this kind is that you just get one session at a time. One session might do it for you, or maybe you might need several, but either way you will only commit to the time and cost that is appropriate for you. These sessions are still $125 for 55 minutes. To set one in motion, start by ordering a personal session here.

Try one of these sessions also if you’re not sure you’re an empath.

As an empath, or simply a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), or if you worry that you are under psychic attack, you may find a great deal of relief by doing a personal session of Aura Transformation. This will involve healing with Energy Spirituality, probably including my cutting a cord of attachment.

Another way to free you up as an empath is Regression Therapy. My specialty in this field is Energy Release Regression Therapy, which is done in person here in metro D.C. (Sterling, Virginia, to be precise). If you are having trouble developing skill as an empath — or suffer from other problems described in detail here — this method of healing could be just what you’ve been seeking.

Rose, each time I return to your site to see what you are up to, I am uplifted and inspired with everything you are able to accomplish.

I, too, have been a spiritual seeker most all of my life. Within me has been a desire to empathically attune to those crossing my path, whether it be friends or clients.

When we are able to touch each other on that level, miracles happen. I recently had a client call me while in the middle of a pretty severe panic attack. He was getting ready to leave work that week on disability and was stressed and overwhelmed with finishing up. This client suffers with cystic fibrosis and has less than 20% lung capacity.

When my many years of training in psychology would not suffice, I was able to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) via phone with him, empowering him to release and eliminate the symptoms. I received an e-mail from him recently saying he was tapping for everything because of his positive experience.

When what I do matters, and someone’s life can be impacted in a positive way by empowering them to heal themselves, it brings me joy beyond belief. You know the feeling!

Thanks, Rose, for continuing to make a difference!

    Hi Rose:

This is really good. i consider myself pretty equally made up of 1,2 and 3. Though number 1 was recent development as of about 10 years ago.

    Hi Rose,

I was first drawn to your work by your incredible insight into empath empowerment. I am definitely more skilled, and enjoying my own human life a lot more, as a result :)

    Thank you,
    Sarah

SARAH, thanks. I enjoy you, that’s for sure.

FATOUMATAH, “Recent, as of 10 years.” Sweet!

BELINDA, what you’ve written is great, too. Would you be willing to supplement with any items from that list o’ five?

To expound a little, Rose, on the list of five, I have studied spirituality for most of my life, and I’m definitely one of those “spiritually oriented people.” I did my master’s thesis in grad school on looking at spirituality and bereavement from different theoretical viewpoints.

I have just recently stepped out to claim my own human life by starting my own business empowering others to manifest their destiny.

As a court reporter for 17 years, I listened to the many problems that befall humankind and made up my mind then that I could make a difference but felt I needed further education to do that. After studying psychology for 10 years of my life and missing my doctorate by a single point, I find that the path I believed had been destroyed at the time, has taken me in a direction that takes my breath away and is truly aligned with my life’s purpose.

I have stepped into my “circle of excellence” to build a business integrating body, mind, and spirit, empowering others to manifest their destiny. Each of us has within us infinite power bestowed upon us by the Divine, and to use it responsibly, I believe we have to be one of those “highly sensitive people” connecting to our fellow human beings in love knowing we all have something to learn from each other.

On East meets West I, too, have been drawn to the wealth of spirituality and depth the East brings to us. When we step out of “organized religion” we are able to see the world in an entirely new light that brings enlightenment.

I’m a spiritual seeker, I had a huge awakening around 9/11. I’m also highly sensitive and an empath - I need a more practical way to use and hone my talents so they work for me instead of against me and I was drawn here. I want to be more emotionally autonomous so I can truly give to others with no strings attached, and I think this will help. I also feel that I need this skillset to be honed very well for my life purpose (I’m an artist/performer/dancer) which in my intention and heart, is to help others heal emotionally.

I first came across Rose’s work while looking for resources for empaths. I am a spiritually oriented person who has been seeking growth and knowledge my whole life. I have been extremely influenced by religious leaders, authority figures and combinations of the two. I like Belinda’s statement: When we step out of “organized religion” we are able to see the world in an entirely new light that brings enlightenment.

I am a second generation American on my mother’s side, with both grandparents immigrating from Germany, although I’m not sure how that fits in. Could the families of immigrants be more susceptible to influence from authority figures as they try to “fit in” their new environment? My grandparents and mother were treated suspiciously and/or discriminated against during WWII and tried to fit in with their neighbors and co-workers. Okay, now I see what is under East Meets West: raised to be aware of others, thoughtful, polite, etc. So while I’m not Asian-American, the same dynamics apply to my situation.

Rose’s spirituality and knowledge of spiritual subjects resonated with me. In addition to information about empathy, I’m interested in Rose’s other areas of expertise, as they complement my learning curve and search for knowledge.

    Hi Rose,

I too return to your blog to see what you’re up to. After reading your blog I have deep compassion and high regard for you. Thank you for sharing your past and what experiences you’ve gone through that have made you such a strong and beautiful person. For the first time I see your own humanity rather than just a healer. Thank you for transforming your own adversity to heal others.
