I too return to your blog to see what you’re up to. After reading your blog I have deep compassion and high regard for you. Thank you for sharing your past and what experiences you’ve gone through that have made you such a strong and beautiful person. For the first time I see your own humanity rather than just a healer. Thank you for transforming your own adversity to heal others.

I am a second generation American on my mother’s side, with both grandparents immigrating from Germany, although I’m not sure how that fits in. Could the families of immigrants be more susceptible to influence from authority figures as they try to “fit in” their new environment? My grandparents and mother were treated suspiciously and/or discriminated against during WWII and tried to fit in with their neighbors and co-workers. Okay, now I see what is under East Meets West: raised to be aware of others, thoughtful, polite, etc. So while I’m not Asian-American, the same dynamics apply to my situation.

Rose’s spirituality and knowledge of spiritual subjects resonated with me. In addition to information about empathy, I’m interested in Rose’s other areas of expertise, as they complement my learning curve and search for knowledge.

I have just recently stepped out to claim my own human life by starting my own business empowering others to manifest their destiny.

As a court reporter for 17 years, I listened to the many problems that befall humankind and made up my mind then that I could make a difference but felt I needed further education to do that. After studying psychology for 10 years of my life and missing my doctorate by a single point, I find that the path I believed had been destroyed at the time, has taken me in a direction that takes my breath away and is truly aligned with my life’s purpose.

I have stepped into my “circle of excellence” to build a business integrating body, mind, and spirit, empowering others to manifest their destiny. Each of us has within us infinite power bestowed upon us by the Divine, and to use it responsibly, I believe we have to be one of those “highly sensitive people” connecting to our fellow human beings in love knowing we all have something to learn from each other.

On East meets West I, too, have been drawn to the wealth of spirituality and depth the East brings to us. When we step out of “organized religion” we are able to see the world in an entirely new light that brings enlightenment.

This is really good. i consider myself pretty equally made up of 1,2 and 3. Though number 1 was recent development as of about 10 years ago.

I, too, have been a spiritual seeker most all of my life. Within me has been a desire to empathically attune to those crossing my path, whether it be friends or clients.

When we are able to touch each other on that level, miracles happen. I recently had a client call me while in the middle of a pretty severe panic attack. He was getting ready to leave work that week on disability and was stressed and overwhelmed with finishing up. This client suffers with cystic fibrosis and has less than 20% lung capacity.

When my many years of training in psychology would not suffice, I was able to use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) via phone with him, empowering him to release and eliminate the symptoms. I received an e-mail from him recently saying he was tapping for everything because of his positive experience.

When what I do matters, and someone’s life can be impacted in a positive way by empowering them to heal themselves, it brings me joy beyond belief. You know the feeling!
