Palin’s Troopergate, Kali Yuga, and Why I Teach Aura Reading
October 22nd, 2008 by Rose RosetreeJust when I thought I was going to avoid doing aura reading and empath-merges on politicians for a while, Bonnie sent this heartfelt question:
First, I would like to thank Rose, and the other empaths on this board. Please, could someone with this gift tell me what is going on with Palin’s response to Troopergate??
- Does she believe her own words?
- Is she just not emotionally ready to accept full responsibility for her actions?
- Is she consciously lying, supposing that her considerable personal charm can overcome facts?
Why didn’t she say “no comment, as this investigation is not fully concluded, at which time I am confident I will be cleared”? Or, “I have exercised my authority as governor to legally terminate an employee”? That was all she needed to say to stay within the bounds of integrity. Why did she go on and say “cleared of any hint of unethical activity”?
I don’t know if any of you out there can “pick up” what is going on internally with a person from just an audio recording, but in an phone interview with Anchorage Daily News (http://community.adn.com/node/132625) (sorry, I don’t know how to do links) she (Palin) goes on to say how she and McCain are “taking the high road, being positive” during their campaign”.
I just can’t believe she would just flat out lie about reports and events so easily investigated; why she didn’t have smooth, believable statements regarding these two negative events. What is going on with her??? Please HELP!
CREEPY AND CREEPIER
In politics there’s “creepy” and then there’s “creepier.” Bonnie’s request for insight from empaths here reminds me of the creepiest memory I have of Election 2000. Not an aura reading experience, it was a just plain vicarious TV-watching experience reported to me by a reliable source, my husband. Together we’d been watching the harrowing coverage of the results.
When I left the room, Mitch saw Bush being interviewed. The Texas governor was alone, speaking from his mansion. The reporter said that Florida had been called for Gore, so that Bush had lost the election.
What followed? Bush smirked and said, repeatedly, “That can’t happen. I know it can’t happen. Wait and see. I will be winning in Florida.”
BEFORE AURA READING
Tomorrow I’ll get myself all ready and jump into the unpleasant bog of aura reading Sarah Palin. And I was just collecting photos of Meryl Streep for a reading about the star of my favorite musical in decades, Mamma Mia! Then I stopped to enable comments and found Bonnie’s request to be a true showstopper.
One important principle about having skill at aura reading (also empath skills) is that you always have the right to say “No, I won’t do this aura reading.” or “I won’t do this aura reading now. Maybe later.”
It’s a pleasure to model this common-sense, but not always prevalent, aura reading skill. Meanwhile, I’d like to share something about why I have such a passion for teaching aura reading at this time in history.
AURA READING DURING KALI YUGA
Taking the long view on history, Indian sages came up with a concept to measure human progress, a sequence of cycles or “yugas.” First comes Satya Yuga, the age of gold, where there is full truth value, exquisite justice and morality, what today we might call “utopia.”
Second, Treta Yuga, the age of silver, has only 75% of these qualities. In Dvapara Yuga, the age of truth value of life goes down to 50%. According to this scheme, we’re now in Kali Yuga, with a barely recognizable truth value, some 25%.
How else do you know you’re in the age of lead? Morality is down, lewdness and sexual looseness are up. People get away with murder.
Yes, a free O.J. Simpson can win a book contract for “How I did it.” Not only can he get away with murder. He also can be convicted in civil court and get away without paying damages.
And yes, America can have a vice-presidential candidate like Sarah Palin who openly lies just because she can.
When did I first learn about Kali Yuga? My guru (back when I had a guru), Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, talked about it in the early 1970′s. He said that during the depths of Kali Yuga, humanity had the option to make a great leap and bring in a thousand years of Sat Yuga, an age of peace and enlightenment.
It was a choice, he said. I still believe that.
Fast forward to the Republican convention where Palin’s acceptance speech is highlighted by her cute explanation of how she told Congress “Thanks, but no thanks” about the notorious Bridge to Nowhere. Yet facts show that she hardly refused that money. Apparently she kept it, just didn’t spend it on the porky, putative bridge.
One answer to Bonnie’s question is so easy that no aura reading is needed. In Kali Yuga, politicians lie because they can. People believe the lies. So if you appear sincere or “charming” and repeat your lies, you may even be praised for being “authentic” and “down to earth.”
Sometimes I’ve been watching the news in recent years, seeing lies triumph in Congressional hearings, hearing apparently intelligent minds giving credence to ridiculous diversions from truth. I’ve watched and thought, “How on earth can this be happening? The only answer can be that this is Kali yuga!”
THE GREAT LEAP
Back at my commitment to aura reading, why do I teach it and do it and write books about it? Why I do the same about skills for empaths? Here’s why. I want to help humanity make the Great Leap into Sat Yuga. Or Ascension. Or a thousand years of heaven on earth. Call it what you will.
The huge loyalty and love I feel for my family is similar to the feelings I have for the band of courageous lightworkers throughout the world who are here for the same reason I am: To help humanity to wake up, doing this for the sake of our own evolution and also doing it as role models for others.
Reading truth with aura reading, face reading, empath merges – what could be more fun to do in Kali Yuga?
WHAT DO YOU HOLD ONTO?
Recently I had a dream about ascension. Normally,I don’t think about the future a lot. I just live in the present, doing my best day by day. Those of you who have sessions with me, or otherwise know me well, see that I pack every day full as I can. It’s a combo of passion and fierceness and joy.
I feel very fortunate to be among the leaders bringing aura reading, face reading, and empath empowerment into earth. I love the piece of the Kali Yuga Transformation job that I have been given.
And yet, I did have this crystal-clear dream about helping to teach humanity to physically lift up, lift off beyond gravity. I was given a cross to hold onto, in case I felt scared. Only this cross was given me to hold upside down. That T-part makes a fine handle, you know.
With the long stem of that T pointing upward, I reached up with a tangible reminder. “Don’t look back. Lift up. And trust with all your heart.”

Thanks for this post, Rose. I look forward to your post on aura reading soon. You are so right about this being Kali yuga times. I swim against the tide trying to point out to my three sons the false promises of advertisers, the lack of accuracy in politician’s statements, and sadly, the inability to trust a lot of people.
I post sayings on honesty and right action on a bulletin board in the hall by their bedrooms. (I’ve even seen their friends reading it. Yes!!) I try to be honest and truthful and hope they follow suit.
However, as you state, “morality is down, lewdness and sexual looseness is up.” The lewd language and ideas spewing onto (and therefore out of) our youth is alarming. (I’ve learned so many new words, phrases and acronyms in the past few years that freely float in my kids’ environments.) Your teachings on reading people deeper have so much application today. Hopefully, I am teaching my sons deeper perception (learned here) to help them navigate through the conflicting messages directed at society.
Wow, Wohoo!!!
What a remarkable image Rose! You know I am in it too! I just want to share my own personal experience with the cross. In mid July, after one day of practicing qigong my hands were vibrating with flying crosses as I transmitted energy back to the earth. I saw myself carrying the cross, but it was upside down just like you had it in your dream. In the silent retreat at the end of July, I clearly understood my mission as a lightworker and wrote about it on my blog “Paradise on Earth” (http://www.secretsfromsilence.com/2008/10/14/paradise-on-earth/)
This is the Time to unite!!!
Beautifully stated, Rose. As a fellow lightworker, I understand that it is our work to assist mother earth and humanity to lift upwards and expand. It’s particularly clear during these times of lies, people working “on the dark side, if you will” (Chaney, I’m looking at you) and the great FEAR that seems to be enveloping us, that we have much work to do, indeed.
Bonnie, thank you for asking a question I wonder about every single day. How do they lie like that? Is the desire for power that strong? (Must be.)
I’ll be waiting for your post on SP and her aura of …. narcissism??
Great post, Rose. You raise a very important point… politicians lie because they can. What REALLY frustrates me is that the Republican machine gets away with horrendous and obvious lies, and yet Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on December 19, 1998 and later acquitted by the Senate for lying about his sexual trysts and sexual harassment. Would you believe I was not interested in politics until 1998?
The damage in Clinton’s case was essentially local though it cost taxpayers nearly $7 million. The lies surrounding 9/11, the war in Iraq and the almost 31,000 lives lost on all sides, record profits for oil companies with soaring prices at the pump, our national debt over $10 TRILLION, and an abysmal environmental policy Bush continues to skate on solid ice with no impeachment in sight.
Why?
Sleep-walkers want to believe the lies. Sleep-walkers still insist Iraq was behind 9/11. Hoping to shed some light, on occasion I explained that most of the men involved were Saudi nationals, Bush and his administration safely shuttled the bin Laden family and other related parties out of the U.S., and that the U.S. was the invading force by taking the offensive to start a war to which most of our allies were vocally opposed. As I relate these facts, and possibly others, I have watched their eyes glaze over.
Tell the peasants the king loves and protects them and the sleep-walkers will support the king. Watchful peasants notice the king has raised rents, charges more for food and horses, stolen more of their land and kept most of the bounty for himself and given the rest to the Dukes and Duchesses.
Point out that Bush is a self-proclaimed “war president” who also boasts that he is “pro-life” and they argue that God’s law speaks for itself or begin quoting the bible as their authority. The hypocrisy eludes them or they are too afraid to look at it.
They will proudly display bumper stickers and yard sign and then vote for politicians like McCain and Palin. McCain is lead but Palin is perhaps a denser material. She openly lies, has no experience with global affairs (let alone our own Congress), and has difficulty forming a cogent sentence. They don’t seem to notice Palin’s bizarre run-on sentences that are cobbled together with truncated concepts and “big” words. This person could be our president?
Yes, Kali Yuga, a leaden cycle, is upon us. I hope this country has sunk as low as we can go. It’s like we’ve been dragged to the bottom of ocean with a heavy anchor.
What can we do about it?
Do what we can to wake people up!!! Cut the bonds that tie people to the density of the anchor of lies, lethargy and limited vision. We have to stop being defensive and take a spiritually-based offensive. We have to be better at shining the light in dark places.
Hopefully we can convince the sleep-walkers that voting for a president only because he claims to be “pro-life” and opposes gay marriage is dangerous. Opposing a president just because he is Black is equally reckless.
Light workers can find a way to break down the barriers that keep people stuck to limited issues and help them free themselves. We have a few more days, let’s get ‘er done!
What I think is the saddest part about this Kali yuga time is that it seems HARDER to live truthfully and honestly than it is to live a life of lies and deciet. And it’s not just in words and actions, in my opinion, it’s in spending… credit card debt is at a peak high as people spend what they do not have to seem like they do have it (if that makes any sense.. it does in my head =p)… the popular tv shows that are constanstly on tv of “reality.”
I’m sure arguements can be made for all age groups, but as a young person in this time, it’s not easy. Friends my age think I’m weird for my more New Age beliefs, doing Reiki, and being involved in charities. I feel even more than I always have as an outcast from my age group. Seeing “through” them and knowing there isn’t an honesty there that I would like to be isn’t always the gift that it’s called.
Your dream made me smile and giggle – I’m not sure why, but it just brightened me up and the first thought I had like a whisper in my ear was “That’s not upside down that’s right side up.” I know you were saying that for explaination so that we may see it as you did, but that was my thought as I giggled to myself. =) Thank you for sharing that.
Thanks, LISAW. And to you, too, AGNES. That’s some coincidence!!!
Nikki, at any age, your experiences are those of a LEADER. Thanks for all you wrote, including sending the giggle.
Rose, a hundred thank-you’s for responding to my post. While I tried to focus on the gratitude of the upcoming elections to give our country another choice of leadership, my emotions kept dragging me back to the Troopergate response.
Part of the disturbing aspects of this response is what an attractive and friendly person she seems to be. When I see her on screen, I have to mentally remind myself that she is no friend to librarians or rape victims.
Thanks again for your (and others) attention. I know your situations are sometimes difficult in this world. Please continue to bring in the Light!
Rose,
I’ve always been drawn to the indian philosphies about the ages and the cycles of them. I feel that they are true – but also on another level that they only tell half the story about why the “dark age” exists in the first place.
I guess I look at the lewdness and depravity of this time a bit differently then a lot of people do – they seem to only see the darkness of it – but I see it as all the subconscious issues and unresolved dynamics on a collective level that have been hidden for a long time coming out to light in the open to be resolved and dealt with, laid to rest before the next age.
It’s kinda like a boil coming to the surface of your body and popping, icky, messy and kind of disgusting – but a necessary purging for the healing of our world.
What a great point, NEONARTEMIS!
As for you, Ms. BONNIE, you are a hundred times you’re-welcomed. (Also, treasured by me.)
I was thinking when I read this post about the often unrecognized potential of darkness, both in a personal sense of having dark times in life, and in the large scale sense of the Kali Yuga period for humanity.
In my own experience, it’s been the times that I felt most dismal that wound up being the most transformative which, granted, isn’t always an easy thing.
But the biggest breakthroughs and triumphs of my life have come at the most unexpected of times, when it did not seem as if anything good could or would ever happen. In the midst of those depths was opportunity, a call for change, though often unrecognized at the time.
And I think in the same way humanity has this awesome opportunity now, to grow in ways that are so huge that we can’t fully take it in.
After the fact maybe we’ll look back (or someone will) and see just how groundbreaking and powerful these changes are and have been for our planet.
But for now, being in the middle of it, we can’t see the change happening as clearly, or it seems interminably slow.
But I do think progress is underway and it very much excites me to be alive at this time, able to make some contribution to this vast, vast project of moving mankind toward enlightenment. More than anything, to me it feels like a time of great potential, the “hour before dawn” and the springing forth of a new consciousness.
Rose, I’m so glad you called attention to this post. Although I have many friends identifying as lightworkers, I don’t usually think of myself this way. But the sense of purpose, of contributing to encouraging others (and myself!) in the living of life as a true human being, blessing the world in as many ways as we can muster, is deeply important to me. Everything that populates my life is focused on doing my part to give us all a boost out of Kali Yuga. By encouraging and supporting the great-hearted intentions of CeciBooks’ authors, and by offering the insights in the book, Sacred Visitations (which I do hope shed some light on the beauty, as well as the ultimate paradox, of the relationship with a spiritual teacher) I place droplets of water, again and again, on the fires of this difficult age.
For a beautiful and inspiring book that typifies our shared quest at this important time in human history, see Flight of the Hummingbird, with a Foreword by Wangari Mathaai and an Afterword by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The book is soon to be reviewed on http://www.BigMouthBookworm.com.
Lastly, I love this old adage: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Even as we see the darkness in certain persons when we look with the third eye, it’s possible — and truly helpful — to offer the blessing of Pure Vision, to See Through and Beyond that darkness to the heart of truth that pulsates at the core of every being. I have known and been hurt by some dark beings in my life, but my favored memories of them are the moments when I Saw Through the crusty exterior, and the Pure Light shone in their eyes.
May this be of benefit.
Love and Blessings! Ceci
Does anyone know of any video of Bush acting so suspiciously during the election? That would be interesting to see.
JORDAN, good question. And thanks to CECI and JULIE for your soul-stirring comments.
Back at your question, Jordan, if I may put in a brag for my husband Mitch, he was astute to catch it. Where were the reporters at the time? Why didn’t they notice?
Instead, the film footage will just be in some network news archive from Election 2000.
Yoicks! Kali Yuga strikes again!
