A Shift for the Blog
November 25th, 2008 by Rose Rosetree
My blog silence from Japan — whoa! It has been falling even more quietly than the tiniest flake landing atop Mt. Fuji.
That blog silence started with the 18-hour door-to-door trip from home, followed by much deep snoozing sleep. By then I had whole lists of blog posts to start sharing with you.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the computer setup here. I was only able to enable comments, with about five times as much effort as usual. New posts weren’t possible. Maybe you were frustrated at the lack of new posts. I was, too.
After nearly two weeks, my laptop is fully connected so I can do some writing in addition to my very full schedule here. VOICE tells me I work a bit harder than other teachers and last trip I broke a record for them with the number of personal sessions done in addition to workshops. (Previous record: 60. New record: 82.) Apparently in their 20-year history, they hadn’t met a teacher with the enthusiasms of this native New Yorker who really, really wants to help everyone who wants to learn to read auras, read faces, cut cords of attachment with quality control, and who has a very special passion for helping natural empaths to become skilled empaths.
Still, I always find time for writing. But which writing?
After my first week of the enforced blogging fast, I began to consider that question. What I concluded was that it is time for a shift to this blog….
WHAT KIND OF SHIFT?
I still plan to post here, as a way of keeping in touch with the ever-growing community of those of us who use Deeper Perception in the particular ways that I teach. And those of you who use Deeper Perception in different ways continue to be welcome, as well.
However, I just have to stop this daily blogging/comment response thing. Looking back, I have lavished 12-24 hours a week of my best quality writing time (I only get so much of that per day) on this blog. Thus, I have fallen behind in a number of work-related projects.
So here is the new plan. As always, I will continue to provide aura readings, empath merges, and face readings of people in the news… via the e-zine that I have been sending out monthly for the past five years or so. To subscribe, scroll down the home page at www.rose-rosetree.com and you’ll find the link, with its simplest possible instructions. Rest assured, you will never receive spam as a by-product.
Your comments on posts will continue to be welcome. Write them by using the comments form at the end of every post. You never need to sign up to do this. But you do need to wait a while for me to enable your comment.
My latest plan is to post announcements of “big doings” in the world of Deeper Perception — yours and mine. From my side, that will mean announcements and/or articles about new developments. From your side, that means an invitation to provide your own Guest Posts, writing as part of our Blog-Buddy community.
Because Guest Posts continue to be welcome, you can supply readings of anyone you wish. Just be sure to include a link to a photo that you have used as a basis. Email the whole bundle to me at rose[at]rose-rosetree.com and I will post your Guest Post if it seems appropriate for the blog. (And it probably will.)
What about those times when you have a question about one of my books or you want some mentoring or you just want me to read someone’s aura? I’m going to ask you to make that the basis of a session of Personal Mentoring, something arranged by appointment. These 55-minute sessions work great over the phone. The drawback is that you make a commitment for these, commitment of money and time. But the benefit is that you get answers and coaching designed expressly for you.
I have to say as a teacher that the Internet is a very weak method for teaching about Deeper Perception. The Internet is great for entertainment, offering plenty of great chance to browse and taste and sample. Information can easily be shared here. But the Net is not a place to systematically teach skills that involve subtle shifts of consciousness. It is not a place to systematically teach anything in depth, really, because we’re used to roaming, scanning, editing as we go, playing.
So let’s stay in touch, and keep playing. Just not in the former way. Let’s have Aura Readings, Empath Merges, and Face Readings Galore. Done by you!

Hi Rose,
It was wonderful of you to give so much as long as you did. I love reading your insights in almost real time. The aura readings you did during the election campaign were so insightful and helped me tremendously! Thank you!
To all those who haven’t experienced a personal session with Rose I highly recommend one or more.
Blessings,
Brenda
Great idea Rose. That back and forth stuff is way too time consuming I’m sure. Although discussion may be fun if you have time to spend in front of a computer, but I agree with you, that quality teaching is best done in depth with the person you’re working with.
Best wishes,
Kathy
Rose, so glad to hear from you from Japan. I was hoping it was some sort of technical glitch that was keeping you away and not that you had given up on us!
I was wondering how you managed to do all you do AND devote such time to your blog. Shifts always open the road a bit and this is probably a good time to make a change. I, too, am enormously thankful for your readings here and in the ‘zine. (Especially for the one on Cookie, but I digress. hah) I hope to contribute to a few posts in 2009 because the work you do has become so integral in my own life and I’d love to share that.
Lugs and more to you.
Writing a blog is nice but one never gets any feedback from most readers, which is annoying, even if some copy entire pages.
KARIN, you did make me laugh. You,Brenda, Lisa, and Kathy could never be accused of lurking and copying, that’s for sure.
