Aura Reading Controversial Rev. Rick Warren
January 21st, 2009 by Rose Rosetree
Aura Reading brought many delights to this citizen’s experience of yesterday’s Inauguration. My regular senses celebrated, too. That morning, I stopped to savor the still blue sky, tinges of dawn casting golden shadows on the trees.
Of all the inauguration music while I stood at the Mall, the very best came from the long trumpets. (Were they even trumpets? Musician Blog-Buddies, help me out here.)
The royal sounds seemed designed to echo in a solemn, joyous procession, with the great Lincoln Memorial to one side and the Capitol way down the road, millions of us tiny, loud, flag-wavers in between.
That’s royalty Western style, alright. In Japan, I’ve walked through many a shrine built to giant scale, honoring greatness like that of the Emperor Meiji, where you walk through a stone portal that’s way higher than high. Eastern awe flows from top-down, as you contemplate your glorious tininess before God.
Silence is the right song for that version. But for the American version, our trickle-up economics of spirit, bring on the noise and rowdy children and screamers, plus all those brassy trumpets. And, of course, bring on the Queen of Soul.
Did any of you Blog-Buddies do an Aura Reading or Empath Merge when Aretha Franklin sang at the Inauguration? Last night I was telling my son, a high school senior, “I started loving her music when I was her age.”
Matt looked incredulous. Then he said, “Oh, is she the one who sang about R-E-S-P-E-C-T?” And he no longer appeared so incredulous.
Yesterday, as Aretha sang, it seemed impossible that one woman could be so closely thronged by so many angels. (See a bigger version of this photo by clicking on this Aura Reading link.)
But my biggest surprise for the day concerned the controversial minister, Rev. Rick Warren.
AURA READING AN EVOLVING LEADER
As he walked up to the pulpit, ahem, microphone, all I knew about Rev. Rick Warren was the bad part, his “big victory” in helping to pass California’s Proposition 8. Could there be any deeper disrespect for gays than his words? Rev. Rick has publicly compared gay marriage to incest and pedophilia.
Oboy and yech! I figured that good ol’ boy’s third eye was going to be that of a typical religious zealot.
I was wrong. (Not that his hate speech on record was right.)
Check out Rev. Warren first from a typical photo taken in advance of the Inauguration. This displays his version of Christian zealotry.
Specifically, check out the Aura Reading Databank about Spiritual Connection, at the Third Eye Chakra. To me, it shows a true believer’s certainty, with very big boundaries around what is and isn’t ”acceptable.”
Clearly, he’s preaching. And clearly he has a gift for that. It shows as a sweet and rather passionate spiritual connection. Size-wise, Rick’s connection is exceptionally large for someone so strongly boxed into a rigid belief system.
Based on this photo alone, I can see how he is perfectly equipped to lead members of his church. It is Evangelical Christian aura with a generous scoop of more Divine presence than normal.
But this isn’t Rick at the Inauguration, surprising me and, perhaps, himself. After a fair amount of searching, I can give you at best a link where you can actually see Rev. Warren speaking at the Inauguration, although I can’t capture a convenient image like the one above to paste on my blog.
Click to see an image of Pastor Rick suitable for Aura Reading. And then, whether you read HIM or read my Aura Reading, prepare for a shock.
Again, let’s focus on the Aura Reading Databank about Spiritual Connection, at the Third Eye Chakra.
Here is what I found, doing a technique from Aura Reading through All Your Senses.
Approaching the podium, Rev. Rick’s third eye started out in a contracted, righteous, I-know-all-the-answers position. Then it began to expand way bigger, replete with qualities like openness, awe, and a much fuller spiritual connection.
Quickly, pop! Back it went.
Repeatedly, speaking, the pastor maintained that rigid, righteous kind of third eye projection. Then it moved into that otherness, that bigger version. I’d call it “The Destiny Version” for all of humanity. Then, pop! Back again, into Evangelical Comfort Zone.
By the end of his speech, it had stabilized as big and open and way more graced. Rick’s chakra databank about spiritual connection held that more expanded version for long seconds at a time.
Evolution for Pastor Rick and the Rest of Us
Back home, I read a fascinating editorial by Sally Quinn in The Washington Post. She described changes that Rev. Warren has gone through, including this: “Warren has taken down the anti-gay material from his Web site and has essentially come out in favor of civil unions.”
If I were going to summarize what the Bush years brought to America spiritually, it would be this:
Millions of Americans got to live out their best beliefs, about Fundamentalist Christianity, the Protestant ethic and spirit of capitalism, about arrogant flag waving, about the full Reagan legacy of greed and trickle-down economics.
Our country then lived the consequences.
Yes, it was unfortunate for America and the world. (And no, it wasn’t what I, personally, wanted us to go through.) But it did serve a purpose, spiritually.
Because minds that had been unwilling to change have changed. Hard hearts have softened. And if pain and personal tragedy was the only way it could happen, at least it did happen. I know at least one woman who said, “Be patient with me. Be kind to me. All the beliefs I have held for so long have been shattered.”
I am very willing to be patient with that. During those eight years, I was often angry and frustrated. By now, I’m beginning to feel and see why American society paid that price. It will be far easier, I predict, to pick ourselves up than it was to open some of those hearts and minds.
But it is happening. Third eyes stuck in rigid belief have finally moved out of their fixed patterns of righteousness.
Personally, I am glad to have paid that tax. For the sake of our common evolution, I would go through all we have gone through and more. (Even what we still must go through, because consequences here at Earth School must be paid in full.)
I do have bright hopes for this new Era of Responsibility, named yesterday by President Obama. Even Rev. Rick Warren, who used to know it all, grew bigger before my eyes. Personally, I can’t wait to grow bigger, too. And to observe all the glorious human changes by using Deeper Perception.

If you think that most people can’t yet gain accurate, in-depth Aura Reading insights from a photo, you’re right. You might well become the first person in your circle of friends to do this kind of Aura Reading. And the wild part is that this isn’t terribly difficult. You just need to learn the Aura Reading techniques that will get you there.
Another Aura Reading resource is available here . This basic Aura Reading how-to has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide. It’s perfect for an in-depth course for a complete beginner. Yet the 100+ techniques are also useful for bringing you from intermediate skills at Aura Reading to a professional level.

Discourated or skeptical about your ability to do Aura Reading? You don’t have to “see the colours.” Just find a teacher who knows how to help you to find your innate gifts and then use them to give you quality results. Develop skills as an empath with this simple, inexpensive tutoring session between pages, Empowered by Empathy. In America or Canada, you can order it 24/7 with a toll-free number: 800-345-6665. Or use this magic empath button to order online. (Just teasing about that name. It’s regular old ordering, with money, that helps to keep me blogging and, otherwise, doing this wonderful work.)
If you prefer audiobooks, you’re in luck with the audio edition of Empowered by Empathy. And you can hear a free sample by scrolling down the page to which this link takes you.
Sometimes an empath-in-training will prefer personal mentoring. This can be done over the phone or in person. Empath Empowerment is a skill set, not just a wish. It takes some learning, and the great thing about study of this kind is that you go one session at a time. One session might do it for you, or maybe you might need several, but either way you will only commit to the time and cost that is appropriate for you. In 2009, these Personal Mentoring Sessions are still $125 for 55 minutes. To set one in motion, start by ordering a personal session here.
Once you have become a skilled empath, it will be appropriate (and totally safe) to do a dedicated technique to turn your empath gift(s) ON. My name for doing this is “Empath Merge.”
And, no, you don’t have to belong to Rev. Rick’s church — or any church — to be about to do Aura Reading or Face Reading. Empaths, as well, can be members of disorganized religion or the organized variety. The difference with Deeper Perception is how much more you’ll enjoy everything.
