However, you can be anonymous and the names of any people involved in your report will definitely be anonymous as well.
1. Choose a name for yourself (anonymous or not).
2. One photo of you will be needed. (When I do phone sessions, no photo is needed. But this contest is different!) Please supply a photo that shows your face clearly, down to the neck. More of you is optional — for the photograph, anyway. 
Please, please do not do me the favor of sending a photo in dim light or darkness or whatever else you imagine might be helpful. Tricks of light have nothing to do with how I do – or teach –aura reading. I really would prefer a normal photograph where I don’t have to squint to see you.
So supply an easy-to-open link to a normal kind of photograph. This could be a simple link, a website link, or a link to Facebook. Please do not give links to other social networking websites or to photo albums. Do not email your photos, either, please.

Type of Reading: Helping me gain insight (into a past relationship)
I’m really just looking for insight in a more general sense. I am beginning a new journey and looking for insight as to which direction to go, where I am being directed to, looking for clarity of purpose over all. This new beginning for me IS inspired by a relationship, the passing of what I believed was my soul-mate, or a soul-mate.

I would like to receive a free aura reading because I believe it will help me to get to know myself, perhaps get to know my energy a little bit more. I have been empathic all my life, I have been growing spiritually as well (more recently). A recent event in my life, the passing of a friend, and the connection that we STILL maintain has caused me to somehow break with my own energy, I couldn’t ‘feel myself’ if that makes sense. I have been working with someone to help open up my energies through Reiki work, and I can feel it helping a lot. But I know there is a lot of work ahead and that my new direction of self-growth is just beginning. I believe an aura reading will help me get to know my own energy better, help me focus on myself and my abilities better, and help me to then learn and grow more to become whatever it is that I shall become in this life-time.

Hi Rose! A good friend of mine sent me to your website. I’m really interested in aura reading. But I’m a bit puzzled about aura reading from photographs?!? Does the person’s aura get photographed by the camera? Or does the photograph have its own aura? I’m new to this, I can’t see any auras yet

IAN, good question. A person’s aura is included in the photograph. Why?
Let’s define “aura.” Around your physical body, you have layers of additional bodies, concentric layers like the layers of an onion. These layers are made of electro-magnetic energy, so they are perceived differently from the physical body.
The important thing about all these bodies is the information they carry. All these subtle bodies, together, make up your aura.
Reading an aura means that you find a way to directly perceive this information, not necessarily seeing but using all the gifts that God gave you. My method for doing this is called Aura Reading Through ALL Your Senses(R) because most people lose out when they expect that all they can do is see.
The method involves many techniques you can learn, and succeed with, Ian. If you’re interested in learning more about reading auras in depth and detail from photos, and DOING IT, I would recommend “Read People Deeper.” At $14.95 it’s a pretty easy investment.

Thanks for your answer, Rose! Wow! So, there’s more in the photograph than just the picture – that’s fascinating! I’m not sure how that works from a technical point of view – and I guess digital pictures are better than film, or should that be vice versa?? I guess that’s in the book? Or maybe I’m just over-thinking this.

IAN, Deeper Perception IS fascinating. Just to help this seem normal to you, think about any interesting photo you’ve seen.
If you know (or knew) how to read Body Language, wouldn’t that level of information be captured in the picture? Or would something special have to be added in order for you to have access?
What if you know (or knew) how to do Face Reading? With that, you connect physical face data with attributes of a person’s soul, both talents and potential challenges.
Would the person in the photo have to be thinking “Read my face”? Or could you just do it because of owning that skill set?
Aura Reading is about perception, too. When you have the skill set to read people at that level, the info. is there for the asking.
There’s one level deeper, my favorite, Empath Empowerment. As part of owning that skill set, you can use the person in the photo as a destination for your consciousness and move into the direct experience of BEING that person, what it’s like in many different ways.
All these types of perception are based on you, the mighty knower. When you know how to use that perception, what I call “different skill sets,” you won’t spend so much time deciding whether or not things are possible. You’ll use your gifts for deeper perception in conjunction with the specific skills needed to have the perception and interpret it.
Afterwards that intellect of yours can find applications of all that perception. And that’s really something worth thinking about!

I am looking for an aura reading (face) because I have the sense of being an indigo child,but I get confused at times.I am not sure what field I should get into though social service or social welfare would be a nice option.I am currently a law student and am at the end of a phase in my life both personally and proffessionally.I am going to be beginning afresh, and I need some sort of reflection on how things are with me.

I really want a fun job that I am good at. I want to feel comfortable and needed in a job I like. I have many interests so I keep changing my mind on what to pursue. On one hand I am artist who needs stability. In the other hand, I think I am meant to help people, but I am pretty shy. I have had bad luck in the past when I try to pursue a career I think I would be well suited for. I am currently reading “How to Cut Cords of Attachment” and I think if I cut some cords, I would have more direction for a successful career.

DONNA, thanks for your entry. You’re absolutely correct that cutting cords of attachment (and doing a quality job, as this book can teach you to do) will help you to find direction.
That’s because cords of attachment dump toxic energy patterns from your past into your aura and subconscious mind. Usually this happens 24/7 and lasts until the end of a lifetime.
Every time you become clearer in your aura, by cutting a cord of attachment, you will have more clarity of self-awareness. So glad you’re learning the skill!

I’m looking into understanding the nature of my attachment hoping to get the kind of insight that will enable me to direct and dissolve as appropriate any toxic patterns and impossible thoughts, and to eliminate these sad feelings and lack of energy and joy. It is no longer acceptable to let a power outside self control emotions and feelings, to the point of giving life to what really exists not in the physical plane. This prevents from enjoying the present life and from feeling whole and happy with the blessing in my life.

I’m sure you can appreciate that when someone sends me a link through a social networking website or in a photo album website, I must then learn to enter the site, sign in, navigate the site, etc.
If I weren’t quite so busy, that might be fun. However, I can’t do all my work with clients, publishing, etc. and still do social networking websites. So I don’t do them. Period.

Of course I must enter this contest – it is too tempting to dangle this carrot in front of me and not have me try to grab it.
I would research hobbies or other activities to do outside of work. I am often at a loss as to what to do during my free time for enjoyment and relaxation.
What choices would I include? Hiking, hanging out at Barnes & Noble, cooking Italian food, baking things (cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies), learning how to speak Spanish, learning how to play the cello, painting, sketching, reading books about biology and chemistry, writing in a journal, going out for coffee, watching movies, taking ballroom dancing classes, singing in a choir…
Just to name a few choices.
I hope my entry gives other readers ideas on what they can research, too.

There’s nothing wrong with using an older photo. I’ll be reading you at the time of the photo, and the emphasis is on gifts of your soul which are permanent.
Even if I’m researching choices for you, you will respond pretty much the same some six months earlier.
I’m so glad you asked. Recently someone had me do an Aura Report and supplied photos in semi-darkness. Perhaps she had taken a workshop where people practiced aura reading this way, but all a photo like this means to me is “Hard to see.”
Squinting and straining are not required for my method of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses(R).

Hi, Rose! What a fun contest! I may not be allowed to enter, because you read my aura several years ago. But I am curious to see how things have changed (or not!) since then. I would like to know a job direction. I’m currently schooling a child at home, but eventually, I should do something that makes money! I’ve been a secretary/administrative person (100 years ago), but I’m wondering if I can do more for humanity in the healing field (reflexology, reiki, EFT).

Is the concept of indigo children, crystal children and all connected to one’s aura, are they interlinked?I would love to know if you could shed some light on it

ANDREA, I really don’t know how people come up with the concepts of Indigo Children, Crysal Children, etc.
Concepts like these just don’t speak to me. Probably that’s because I’m not so interested in groups of people and their patterns. You know, I’m not an Aura Sociologist. What is my passion?
* I help individual people to HEAL by reading their very individual auras, then using skill sets like Cut Cords of Attachment and Spiritual Cleansing and Protection.
* I help individual people to LEARN Aura Reading, again appealing to their very individual strengths, regardless of which soul grouping they belong to.
My advice is this. When you learn you are an Indigo Child, or some other concept, and it resonates for you, you are that much richer. But don’t stop there. With that greater understanding, go on to be the most self-actualized human and powerful World Server you can be.

I know it’s hard to believe that a sentient being today (me) doesn’t do Facebook, but I have had to stop doing that, no social networking websites, no Twittering or texting and nearly never any cell phone conversations. And yet I survive and manage to work a gazillion hours a week, work out daily, plus be with my loved ones quite a lot. Amazing, yes, but true!

Specifically, whether the name, ellvee, would be well suited to any future art/design related entrepreneurial endeavors??
The following research choices come to mind:
Does this name engender confidence? Clarity? Creativity?
Would it help me to have more financial success to use my full name, rather than my initials spelled out in this way?
What characteristics does this “ellvee” word/name conjure up?
Does an entrepreneurial endeavor suit me?
Would it be more joyful, inspiring, fulfilling to create a company name that has nothing to do with my initials?
Not sure if these are all suitable research choices… ???
I would like to receive this aura reading because I have been unclear about how to “author”/sign my creative works. Currently, I sign my artworks with my first and last name, which feels ok… Creating an “alter ego” name has intrigued me and wondering what an aura reading would reveal around this.

Just when I thought I had overcome and healed on so many levels, I ended up attracting another abusive relationship mirroring the one I had just left three year prior. I am very interested in an aura reading and the insight that could be given to me relating to why I keep attracting this same situation as well as some tools to help me move forward beyond all the trauma I have experienced. I refuse to go through this kind of relationship again and would like to be able to have a healthy partnership someday!
