    10 Ways to Cheer Up

March 4th, 2009 by Rose Rosetree

Aura Reading by Rose RosetreeFace Reading, Aura Reading, and Empath Empowerment — all of them can help you to overcome winter blues.

What if, lately, you have felt well and truly stuck? Then this blog post is for you. Check out my list of 10 ways to cheer up, then add your own tips at the end.

The main thing to remember is that right now MANY people are going through enormous releasing and reorganization. We’re all getting ready for 2012, which is not all that far away now. So take it one day at a time. Survive and you will look back at this time quite joyously. Meanwhile….

    1. Do one thing differently

Imagine that you are driving and, literally, get stuck in a rut. Unless your car has a magic hopping button, you can’t just lift up and place yourself onto a smoother part of the road. Instead, you’ll need to rock back and forth, moving within that same rut.

Movement, even going over that stuck place, can slide you out. One bit of Face Reading each day is a great way to do that. Look in the mirror. Find something physically interesting about your face.

Then look up the meaning in The Power of Face Reading, Wrinkles Are God’s Makeup, or Read People Deeper.

Every one of these books comes with three indexes. The middle one turns the book into a birdwatcher’s guide for people. So look up your pet finding on yourself, find out what it means, and write that talent on an index card.

Refer to it all day. Look for that same face trait in others. Emphasize that positive and true thing about yourself. Today nose grooves, tomorrow earlobes.

This Face Reader promises you: You have a face full of fun.

Whether with Face Reading or some other way, rock yourself out of that rut. Today and every day, do one thing differently.

    2. Let today be a holiday

I wrote a whole daybook based on that premise. Do you have a copy of Let Today Be a Holiday? (There’s a Kindle edition as well, with different title, 365 Days to a Stronger You. ) I packed that book with the biggest wisdom I’d gained from 50 years as a relentless spiritual seeker. It’s daily inspiration at the rate mostly of one page a day, two pages max.

Go through one page at a time. Or use this Aura Reading-Face Reading link to the technique index — it’s outside the pages of Let Today Be a Holiday, found only at my website – and choose the topic that most closely blends with how you’ve been stuck.

There are dozens of life issues to choose from, from prosperity to family to health to spiritual connection. Choose a day to read and go play accordingly.

Because the truth is that you can decree which day in your life is going to be considered a holiday. For heaven’s sake, don’t just wait around until your birthday comes. Let TODAY be a holiday.

    3. Spend your peak time wisely

Find your time of peak inspiration for the day. This shouldn’t be a hard search. Within each 24-hour cycle, you have a time when you’re especially awake, joyful, strong, smart, sexy — all the good things about you at their most alive.

For this lark, it’s first thing in the morning. For my nightingale husband, hahaha, it’s late at night.

Whatever that time is for you, consider it your most sacred and productive time of day. Don’t fritter it away checking emails or other mindless routines that kill time. Nourish this time. Wallow in it. Use it. Rearrange your coffee break or your wake-up time and use that chunk ‘o time productively to do something you really care about.

That favorite time of day is your treasure.

    4. Do gratitude deeper with Face Reading

By now I’m sure you have heard that gratitude is one of the most magical abilities going. Every time you praise life for something, you turn that something golden.

If you know Face Reading, it’s great to revisit face parts that you may have neglected.  One way to do that is to use The Power of Face Reading, which has chapters devoted to major facial features. Go through one chapter at a time, one item of Face Reading data at a time.

    • Note what you have.
    • See it.
    • Praise the talent and bring up compassion about the related challenge, if you haven’t yet overcome it.
    • Do it all day long.

By the time you are brushing your teeth before bed, part of your face will look extra great to you.

All those items of Face Reading data, day by day, will bring you into the spring and beyond.

    5. Do gratitude deeper with Aura Reading

If you’ve been reading this blog lately, you know that your aura shows more than one gift of your soul. In every major chakra you have 50 different Aura Reading databanks. True, there can also be STUFF in those databanks (a major reason for feeling stuck).

Find out more about those gifts of your soul. Find one a day.

You could find it circumstantially, being quick to notice what you do effortlessly and well. Even better, do an Aura Reading or have me do one for you. Read People Deeper will show you some easy Aura Reading techniques to choose from expressly to find and read those chakra databanks.

Use Index #3 at the back for a list of hundreds of chakra databanks that you can start reading for yourself. (Use this Aura Reading Link to order securely online or call 800-345-6665 any time from the U.S. or Canada.)

    6. Remove STUFF from your aura

STUFF in your aura can always, always, always be healed. One way you can do it is to learn how to Cut Cords of Attachment. Then start by cutting minor cords, one new one every few days.

Please, spare yourself the instructions you’ll find on the Internet. When I prepared the trademark application for my method (12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment(R)) I got a good sampling of what is out there. You’re really better off with nothing than to do the techniques that are, supposedly, oh-so-simple.

I’m hardly the only teacher who can show you an effective method for cutting cords of attachment. I’ve only written the first how-to book about it. Find a good teacher and you’ll develop a life skill that can really change your life. Or consider a personal session where I facilitate cutting a major cord of attachment.

    7. Remove frozen blocks of energy from your cells

This one isn’t a do-it-yourself project. But it’s a good one. So many of the difficult patterns people face in life correspond to energy stuck all the way at the level of your cells.

If a particular pattern comes up again and again, that could be reason for feeling stuck. And also reason for hope, because this stuck kind of energy can be released. Don’t just be a cheerful victim. Take charge of your life and get that frozen block out of there!

The best way I know to remove it is Energy Release Regression Therapy. This Regression Therapy Results link gives you a chance to check out different ways of being stuck that make a difference. While this Regression Therapy Basics link can help you decide whether you want to make a pilgrimage to Sterling, the part of metro D.C. where I facilitate these in-person sessions.

    8. Pray for others

Any kind of volunteer work can help a person to get un-stuck. Prayer is an especially convenient form of volunteering because it can be done in minutes a day.

Please be careful not to indulge in coercive prayer. Many of my clients were taught to outline what the prayer recipient should receive, e.g., “Help Henry get a job.” or “Make Jessica stop being an alcoholic.”

Never, ever do this to another person… or yourself, because prayer like this generates coercive karma that won’t help anyone involved.

Send light and love freely, via your favorite form of God. That’s like money in the bank. Let the prayer recipient spend it at will.

    9. Pray for yourself

God always listens. God always delivers.

Also, have you noticed? God isn’t stooooopid.

So you don’t need to ask God the same request every day. (Affirming for the sake of your own subconscious mind is another story.)

Put in your request for now, then spend the rest of your waking hours open to the presence of miracles. They really do happen every day. Mostly they are small and seem normal, so don’t think “I will witness the parting of the Red Sea. Otherwise, I get nothing.”

    10. If you’re an empath, empower yourself anew

Empath Empowerment grows in stages. The first time you read Empowered by Empathy or took my workshop for empaths, or had some personal mentoring by phone, you added a level of skill. You got better at turning your gift(s) OFF.

Yet it’s easy to think, “Been there, done that.” Go back and do the Coming Home technique once a day for a week. Re-read Chapter 13 of Empowered by Empathy. Maybe the big way you’ve gotten stuck involved your Space Dial, and you have slipped back into picking up other people’s STUFF.

Actually, most empaths would do well to revisit Empath Empowerment a couple of times a year. This will help you do a better job of turning your gift(s) OFF. Besides, every new time you practice your skills, you’re doing it from a deeper level of personal integration, inspiration, and empowerment.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if that stuck feeling you’ve been fighting for weeks really belonged to somebody else? Especially since today the releasing worldwide is so huge, it has never been more important to become a skilled empath.

Thank you for the tips on helping us feel unstuck and for reassurance this is all part of the plan as we approach 2012. It is useful to remember God always hears and answers and that little things can be the perfect answer; we need not expect it to be huge events. Miracles happen! Thanks!
