I wanted to respond about how much complexity and profundity face reading brings. I’ve been taking small bites out of your face reading book lately, and I caught myself being judgmental about my co-worker’s features – and then when I had access to a mirror, it was quite the shock to see that I had the very features that I was so blatantly critical of in a peer!

So I went back to re-read your sections, and read your words without preconceptions and expectations that I had (based on the individual I had in mind) – and your words were without judgment, and were very complex and deep.

This helped me see that there is so much depth to a feature with its strengths/weaknesses – but ALSO how they fit into other features, and how that really brings together such richness.

I have to say, this experience made me feel quite shallow and rather humbled! I’m really excited, too, though! :)

I like being able to read their motivation this way, I can genuinely have compassion for where they’re coming from, instead of just fumbling around for explanations for their often baffling, complex and contradictory behaviors and interactions.

This will be a far richer interpretation of people for me, and far deeper than what I’ve been able to garner from my experiences with studying micro-expressions, body language, and gut impressions.

The last being a big deal for me… yes, I know, I know, only stage one literacy – but let me have it – it’s a big deal for some of us to feel that we may actually have something valid to say (to not simply brush it off because it’s not “real” or has “proof").

About the Face Reading category of Ear Position, CONSTANTINE and other Blog-Buddies, this is actually one of the trickiest categories for reading.

But here's all you need to know about that trick.
The face must be on the level. Then you imagine two parallel lines, one at the end of the eyebrows and the other at the lowest part of the person's nose.

Relative to these guidelines, you can tell if the ear in question is high, low, or in average position. Then interpretation follows accordingly.

For developing an eye for this Face Reading data, I especially recommend the illustration quiz in READ PEOPLE DEEPER.

CONSTANTINE, thank you for your appreciative words. And I'm so delighted you're discovering the fascination, the Wonderland, of Deeper Perception.

Also, I'm glad you posed a question that I CAN answer on this Blog.

Regarding long ears, definitely look for them from the front. For ear position, definitely look for that in profile. (Just one side of the head at a time ;-) )

Choosing which angle to look from, front or side, up or down or even, is one of the fine points of physiognomy that has huge impact on your accuracy.

For every item of face data you're looking at, ALWAYS look on the level, not up or down or three-quarters view. Most photos are taken from a cutesy angle, and you may have to look at quite a few before you can find one that is good for Face Reading purposes.

Even when you've been doing Face Reading for years (personally, I began in 1975), it STILL is preferable to look at a person or a photo from a regular, straight on angle.

So there's one chunk of response, and I'll add a separate comment for the other chunk warranted by your fine communique.

Rose,

My "list" is really growing long at this point! The more I read and understand, the more I need to discern the direction I want to follow. Yes, I do have a list going. You're perceptions are "right on"!!! ***As usual - Big Smile ***

Talking about "long", I'm trying to visualize "long" and "high" ears. I understand the length of the ears when you view them from the front, but the view from the side is another issue. If a person with long ears viewed from the side, will it be VERY noticeable if they are high, or low?

This past week I concentrated on eyebrows, and it has opened an entire different world!!!

Like Alice in Wonderland!!! LOL...always something unexpected, unique, and intriguing.

Your book on "The Power of Face Reading" is an eye opener.

Blessings!!

CONSTANTINE, this is the sort of difficulty that is best addressed in a personal session. I would need to interact with you, read your aura, etc. Because problems like this are personal.

So please put this on your list for the first time we're in session together! Sorry I can't help in a blog in that more personal way.

Rose,

One Minute Blessing..from your Jan.2005 Issue 32.
***An excellent Blessing and Technique!"**
I read through the "One Minute Blessing" technique and get stuck on Step #2.

I have trouble feeling the energy coming up from the soles of my feet or for that matter, anywhere else! When I first started mediating, many years ago, this was one area where I had trouble (or a blockage), and apparently still do - feeling the energy from the ground rising up or feeling the life force energy coming up.
In my opinion, the first four steps seem to be rather a good beginning before doing deep perception face reading or aura reading. I'm just talking here...haven't read these two books yet, but being grounded would make sense...grounded in the sense of removing all preconceived ideas, etc. And doing it from a "place of peace".
Anyway, I going through them Zines, and just need to rattle off thoughts as they come. There is a wealth of information in them!!
I do appreciate your work!!
Blessings!!
(Now if I can get that One Minute Blessing Technique going, I could truly send you some "Blessings"!)

CONSTANTINE, one can never have too many adjectives. ;-)

Actually, you may find that some vocabulary develops naturally as you do face reading. You're always welcome to use my vocabulary, as well, in those three different books about Face Reading Secrets.

Mostly, I think you'll find that the process of using Deeper Perception will open up your heart (even more). For me, at least, that's what makes words flow.

Thank you so much for reading those poems. You're makin' my day!

Rose,

Just a thought.

I'm reading your past articles, all of them, and I'm wondering when it comes to face reading, do I have to develop a set vocabulary? For example, brush up on my "adjectives", those descriptive words? How else can a person be able to give a detailed reading?

Also, I've been reading your poetry. "Journey to Mystery" is my favorite!! Speaks volumes to my heart!

Blessings!

Rose,

I'm hooked!

I requested your book "The Power of Face Reading" through our library's inter-library loan department. I received your first edition and second edition - from different libraries. I have until the middle of June to read them.

Since I work as a librarian myself, I'm using your book(s) to notice the difference in people. Now I look at them with an entire different perspective.

Hopefully, I can become proficient in the area of face reading, then move on to the deeper stuff!
Of course, I know I'll have to purchase a book for my home library!

Blessings!
