Regression Therapy, What’s It Good For?

July 16th, 2009 by Rose Rosetree

rose rosetreeEnergy Release Regression Therapy — what on earth is that, and why would it matter to a practical person like me?

Today’s post is designed to answer that question. At least I can open up the box of answers, because this healing modality is so fascinating and powerful.

Got problems? With Regression Therapy, you can find answers aplenty.

Whenever an experience in your life is overwhelming, toxic energy gets stuck within your aura. I call this type of STUFF, or stuck energy, “frozen blocks.” (This is a term developed by my mentor for Regression Therapy, Dr. Coletta Long.)

Sure, your conscious mind may forget what happened, but the frozen block of energy lingers. Your body remembers. Your cells remember.

So what? Each of those frozen blocks of energy limits you. In our LINKS section, I list some of the problems that frozen blocks of energy can cause. Short answer: Just about every emotional, social, spiritual, or sexual problem that might be a pattern for you. Even health problems that linger can be caused by frozen blocks of energy.

Troublesome pattern = frozen blocks. So if you’ve had trouble giving up smoking or you’re ready to shed excess weight, Energy Release Regression Therapy could do it for you.

What Makes This Regression Therapy Different

Many types of Regression Therapy are available for problems like stop smoking and weightloss. But here’s the simplest example for me of the difference between these other approaches and Energy Release Regression Therapy — what happened with my Japanese client Maxi.

Before helping Maxi into hypnosis and the rest of Energy Release Regression Therapy, Maxi told me that he had done seven previous sessions, each with a different healer and a different method of Regression Therapy.

Coming out of his first experience of Energy Release Regression Therapy, Maxi looked clear-eyed yet calm. “This is so much more effective than any of the other regressions I’ve done,” he announced.

And, of course, results weren’t hampered at all by needing to use an interpreter, which says a lot for the power of this healing art.

Another Japanese client surprised me during my Trip #9 there last month. After his session of Energy Release Regression Therapy, “Hiro” gave me a deep bow. Then a quick nod to my interpreter. And that’s the moment I felt that I had made it in Japan!

The Technical Difference with Energy Release Regression Therapy

The big difference involves frozen blocks of stuck energy. Energy Release Regression Therapy is a focused, highly efficient set of techniques to locate and permanently remove this kind of STUFF from your system.

Other forms of Regression Therapy can help you learn stories and information, akin to psychic readings done under hypnosis. Or there will be techniques akin to psychotherapy, like Inner Child work, only done under hypnosis. Or there will be psychic readings mingled with your experiences under hypnosis.

Sometimes healing techniques are applied while the client is hypnotized and remembering experience from a past life. For instance, I’m a huge fan of the great crystal healer Katrina Raphael, and for decades (yes, decades), I would do crystal-based Regression Therapy. A crystal layout is done at the start of the Regression. This helps the client’s aura to re-balance.

All these approaches have their fans. To me, the most powerful way for getting results is to use techniques developed especially for use during Regression Therapy itself, techniques to locate and remove frozen blocks.

Otherwise, removal of these frozen blocks is haphazard, at best. Mostly, they stay put. The client is left with a little emotional relief and maybe some interesting stories.

When to Cut Cords of Attachment Instead

You may know that a big part of my healing work with clients involves 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment (R). Each Cord of Attachment acts like a STUFF factory, recycling old pain and fear into you 24/7.

In response to questions I’ve received, here is some clarification about when to do which, Cut Cords of Attachment vs. Energy Release Regression Therapy.

    Q. When you Cut a Cord of Attachment, does that remove all your cords to that person from past lifetimes?

    A. Ridiculous! Impossible! It’s a big deal to Cut the Cord of Attachment between yourself and that person in THIS lifetime. When a lifetime is over, you no longer have a Cord of Attachment to anyone. What you do have are frozen blocks of energy that resulted from your interactions with people.

    Q. After you Cut a Cord of Attachment, does that mean you will never have a problem with that person again?

    A. Only if you live in Fantasyland. It’s major healing to Cut a Cord of Attachment. You will be freed energetically to a degree that may amaze you. The technical term could be “Conspicuous by its absence.”

However, every frozen block of energy that you carry related to past experiences with that person won’t be removed. For that you need a dedicated technique. Of course, I recommend Energy Release Regression Therapy.

    Q. How does the STUFF in frozen blocks differ from the STUFF in a Cord of Attachment?

    A. Stuck, recycling, toxic energies from a Cord of Attachment come from the other person. You can also be losing energy on a regular basis. (Which is why, instead of fearing Energy Vampires and Narcissists, it makes a whole lot more sense to Cut your Cord of Attachment to anyone you suspect of having this role in your life.)

By contrast, frozen blocks of energy are not interpersonal. They are stuck inside you. A frozen block could come from this lifetime or from previous lifetimes. Every time you remove a frozen block of energy, you free yourself up permanently.

There’s also a fascinating, mysterious relationship between removing frozen blocks of energy and releasing negative karma. Energy Release Regression Therapy is a super-effective way to remove these frozen blocks.

    Q. Will Reiki or E.F.T. remove my frozen blocks and/or my Cords of Attachment?

    A. Both these techniques, and other healing techniques, can be miracle workers. But only a dedicated technique to Cut Cords of Attachment will remove these physical structure on the level of auras.

Similarly, it takes a dedicated technique like Energy Release Regression Therapy to remove frozen blocks of energy, which are also physical structures on the level of auras.

Reiki can soothe the impact of frozen blocks of energy and Cords of Attachment.

E.F.T. can help your body break bad habits, including ways your system deals with frozen blocks of energy and Cords of Attachment. But doesn’t it make more sense to remove the root cause of these problems?

    My Recommended Sequence for Healing

So if you have been victimized by your daughters and ex-husband, where should you start the healing process?

First Cut all three Cords of Attachment. The order doesn’t matter. Cut one Cord of Attachment at a time, of course. Because only in Fantasyland is it possible to “Cut all my Cords of Attachment.”

Afterwards, you’ll have less STUFF, which will give you a clearer experience of Energy Release Regression Therapy. Plus, we can do sessions to Cut Cords of Attachment by phone, while Energy Release Regression Therapy must be done in person, here in Sterling, VA (a suburb of Washington, D.C.).

Here’s another example. Recently I worked with a client who suffered an injury 22 years ago. “Harvey” has tried all sorts of healing methods.

In our first session, I Cut the Cord of Attachment to the stranger who (seemingly out of the blue) walked up to Harvey and injured him.

Harvey began to feel better. Sensation in his legs, which had mostly been gone, began to come back right away.

If that does the trick, great! What if he still suffers discomfort from that injury? Harvey might want to come out to Sterling, Virginia and do 2-5 sessions of Energy Release Regression Therapy. This will also help him to understand how this seemingly unfair “accident” happened.

One thing I love about Energy Release Regression Therapy is that you can get answers to questions like this, but you also get something else. You get healing of the frozen blocks that set horrible karma in motion and keep it cycling.

Then call Mitch to set up your appointment. He can answer your questions about logistics, etc.

About half our clients for  Energy Release Regression Therapy come from outside metro Washington, D.C. Yes, we’ve done many sessions with clients from Europe and Asia, even that faraway land of Ohio.

It may be convenient for you that we’re located about 20 minutes from Dulles (IAD). It’s the biggest airport in the metro D.C. area.

Many clients for Energy Release Regression Therapy time their session(s) so they can take one of my Intensives. The last two being offered this year are Empath Empowerment (October 9-11) and Cut Cords of Attachment (Octobert 16-18).

It can work out beautifully to do a session of Energy Release Regression Therapy either before or after the weekend workshop.

As one of my clients said about Energy Release Regression Therapy, “This is deep work.” I do hope this summary has been deep enough to do it justice. Feel free to ask your questions in the form of COMMENTS.

I have a question about Energy Release Regression Therapy: how much are the results dependent on the client’s ability to go within and receive answers by questioning?

I’ve never been hypnotized, and while I hope that I am able to be hypnotized, I’ve heard that it is a state similar to an everyday state of awareness. So, I’m worried that if I were asked questions under hypnosis, I would draw a blank and not be able to come up with any memories.

It would be interesting if you can share a few stories of what some of your clients have experienced going through a regression session.

SUZANNE and LISA, I’ve been away and just returned. Both these questions deserve new blog posts. Give me some days to do it!

Meanwhile, thanks to both of you for writing. And you, LISA, I think this is your first comment here, isn’t it? Hooray!

SUZANNE, anyone with average intelligence can be hypnotized successfully.

    It’s that simple.

I know that sometimes people have experiences that are not ideal, perhaps in a group hypnosis setting or with someone who is not professionally trained.

Before entrusting yourself to the care of a hypnotist, here’s a simple question to ask: “Are you a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists?”

This is the premier organization for hypnotists, a huge organization with ethical standards and professional standards.

If you have been involved in a group hypnosis situation, know that this is a hit-or-miss way to experience hypnosis. Personally, I do not attempt healing in this way.

I don’t recommend it as a way to save money as a consumer, although if it does work for you, great!
