Virtual Reincarnation, Aura Reading Treat
August 26th, 2009 by Rose Rosetree
Don’t let that familiar face in the mirror fool you. That person you see in the mirror today may contain a new life. It just inhabits that familiar body and face.
Aura Reading would reveal the nuances, and so might Face Reading, actually. Most of us never give our facial changes enough credit. We’re too busy looking for the cliches society has taught us, such as the (supposedly) desirable chance to “not change a bit.”
But, vibrationally, Earth is moving faster than it has at any other period within our lifetimes.
More than ever, we’re likely to change so much on the inside, it’s as if we’d done traditional reincarnation… but without going to all the trouble of starting up all over again and having to pay that nasty price of admission, the push through a birth canal.
Yes, some of my clients have been changing so much, I’ve told ‘em: “Virtual Reincarnation! That’s what’s been happening to you.” Examples (with names changed to protect privacy) follow.
Honoria
Honoria. Her bout with cancer might, on the surface have seemed like the common, and often tragic, kind of boxing match that so many men and women must fight these days. Just getting in the ring with The C-Word is enough to bring anyone to a state of helplessness.
Honoria, however, is one of the most evolved people you’ll ever meet. Despite all the pressure from doctors and loved ones to undertake chemotherapy, she custom-designed her own treatment and carefully picked which practitioners would help her.
She chose surgery to remove the cancer, and monitored progress with a doctor, but said no to chemo and yes to healing with my dear friend and colleague, medical intuitive and awesome healer Judy Lavine, plus sessions of Aura Healing and Transformation, also Aura Reading Research and Energy Release Regression Therapy, with me. As she considered appropriate, Honoria worked with other practitioners as well.
Not only is Honoria cancer-free today. She’s back at work. She’s physically and inwardly strong. She’s still in possession of her usual shiny, cute hairdo. Beyond that, Honoria has taken a giant leap of evolution. Inwardly and aurically, this definitely shows.
Lifelong patterns of helping others while neglecting herself have been definitively understood. And released.
Since I’ve been privileged to facilitate many sessions of Hypnosis and Energy Release Regression Therapy, I can tell you that this pattern had been a theme through many of Honoria’s past lifetimes as well.
Here’s the practical part. Working with Honoria has been like seeing an old shell break. And who was hatched? Voila! An adorable, fluffy new bird, yellow and joyful – someone exceedingly new.
From Honoria’s own accounting, she has felt like herself through it all. Yet the person who looks out through her eyes now, in many ways, is like an entirely new creation.
How could this be possible? The soul persists throughout each incarnation, remembering every one, plus all the times in-between. Virtual Reincarnation is only a post-modern twist on an ancient dynamic.
Virtual Reincarnation is happening today because spiritual evolution has become so accelerated for all who live on Earth right now.
Jason
When Jason first came to me, he wasn’t concerned with Virtual Reincarnation or any other sort of special evolutionary experience that I might mention to him. In fact, he was quite sure that he had his spiritual evolution handled very nicely, thank you. Because Jason was in a cult, the same cult I belonged to from 1969-1986, Transcendental Meditation.
TM is benign, compared to some of the scarier cults, yet it meets all the textbook criteria of a cult (as discussed in Let Today Be a Holiday — see LINKS at the end of this post).
Nobody in a cult knows it’s happening, and Jason was no exception. He asked me to cut the cord of attachment to his ex-wife, Stacey.
They had been married very briefly. As with many weddings between cult members, they hardly knew each other before the marriage, but figured everything would work out fine because they shared a belief system. Well, she turned abusive. Fortunately, Jason had enough sense of survival to divorce her.
After cutting that first cord of attachment, Jason decided to have additional sessions with me. Over the years, he realized that TM was a cult and I was able to support his desire to quit by helping him remove energetic ties to “The Movement.”
(Technically, by “energetic ties” what I mean is that Jason had several Cords of Attachment that perpetuated his plight. As you may know, the stuck energies from a Cord of Attachment keep troubling old patterns alive and active 24/7, usually until the last minutes of a person’s life. In terms of Hypnosis and Regression Therapy, a person’s subconscious mind contains Cords of Attachment; consequently he/she is constantly being re-imprinted with old traumas. One more technical point: The energy patterns in a Cord of Attachment do not just come from the client but are interactive; it’s a connection between the client’s aura and the cordee’s, which is why neither Hypnosis nor Regression Therapy can help with energetic connections like these, despite being able to bring healing in so many other ways.)
Although Jason succeeded in breaking away from TM, within a few months he found religion and started to “become religious” in a way that told me “Cult Alert.”
Since helping clients to exit cults is one of my specialties, I’ve witnessed what anyone who works in this field will tell you. It’s very tough to not only leave a cult but to stay cult-free. Recidivism statistics may rival those of jail inmates.
But Jason continued to work with me with phone sessions, and eventually he figured out what was happening. I’m pleased to report that Jason has been able to leave Cult #2 and turn into his own person, cult-free. Looking back, he has been born again. As himself.
Feeling Uncomfortable?
Many of you Blog-Buddies have been going through the intense vibrational shifts on the planet without consciously recognizing what was happening. And you’ve been suffering, frightened, and/or going through a lot of drama in your life.
On the other hand, some of you may be living in a state of bliss — which has been pretty much my experience, for instance.
STUFF is being pulled out of us all. Ever see a dog emerge from a pond and shake like crazy, sending off a spray of water drops? That’s each of us now.
Flowing with that quick evolutionary process can become fun, like a game. It’s like body surfing in an ocean with moderately big waves.
However, if you’re being transformed against your will, life may seem harsh now. Sound familiar? Then please consider the possibility that you are being transformed. The patterns, beliefs, and habits that no longer serve you are being released one way or another. Even if uncomfortable now, that’s a good thing in the long run.
Welcoming Virtual Reincarnation
Okay, the term some people use for what is happening today is “Ascension.” But I still prefer the term Virtual Reincarnation. To me, it’s less science fictioney. Substitute any term YOU like for what I call “Virtual Reincarnation.” Here comes the practical part.
For an easier move into Virtual Reincarnation:
- Do you listen to life’s gentler signals?
- Are you willing to change, if it will make you a better, clearer, kinder, more powerful person?
- Most important, do you pay attention to what you want as a human?
That last part is especially important. If I were going to point to the single most important shift in me between that photo at the top of this post, taken when I was 19 years old, and a more contemporary picture like this one here…
Here is what I found helped the most. I stopped running away from being human. I started to pay attention to what I now call “Soul Thrill,” what pleases me as a person.
Instead of giving power away to external authorities like a guru, instead of constantly trying to figure out what was ”meant to be,” I started paying attention to my human life as if it really mattered.
My feelings! My preferences! My delight! Wow!
All along the way, I’d been doing techniques to remove STUFF from my aura. And that combination of living with soul plus having less STUFF has been responsible for several big shifts, several Wow!s of Virtual Reincarnation.
My wish for you, if it’s also your wish, is that you be born again and again and again… while still sticking around here at Earth School so that you can witness the wonders that unfold for us all at such an amazing time.

Great post, Rose! Between our recent conversation about Virtual Reincarnation, this post, and other readings that have recently come my way, I’m actually quite excited to have a frame of reference for what I’ve experienced these past several years. It makes sense, resonates, is just plain fun and quite helpful.
Cheers,
Ann
In the spirit of transformation, I really wanted to share this. I have been very excited lately that the more cords I have cut, the more I am seeing how becoming a skilled empath and cords of attachment are tied together.
The best analogy I can think of for this would be if you intensely wanted to be a high-caliber athlete. You might have the drive, the heart, and the soul of such an athlete and try to exercise as such. BUT if you went home every day and ate primarily junkfood and only foods with high preservatives, you would never be able to be that athlete. Sure, you might make small gains in your exercise, but you wouldn’t feel good doing so, and you would keep wondering, “What’s wrong with me? I try and I try and do all the right exercises, but I just feel awful and am having trouble even functioning.”
Of course the answer is obvious: just eat healthy, maybe detox your system, and the exercise will be exponentially easier and effective! (The answer isn’t “Just exercise harder”)
But that’s what I did for a while when I was trying to become a skilled empath. I wasn’t interested in cutting cords of attachment. I just wanted to become a skilled empath and I wanted that so badly. I read Rose’s “Empowered by Empathy” book many times, did the techniques, but was still having such a hard time just “being me.” Using my analogy, I was trying to be that skilled athlete while still having a body full of junkfood, which is the STUFF that Rose talks about in our auras. And as she says, STUFF can always be healed. But I was stubborn, I kept trying. And valiantly, I might add.
Finally, I started doing Aura Transformation sessions with Rose, in which she would cut one cord of attachment each session. And every cord was worth cutting. Each time I marveled at the patterns that I had subconsciously repeating day after day, and they had made me pretty miserable. I kept focusing on the benefits of cutting those cords. But something else was happening that I didn’t realize: it was getting easier and easier for me to turn my empathy off. With an increasingly clear aura, I wasn’t as confused any more. The empath techniques are finally making more sense. But really it’s as simple a concept as exercising AND eating healthy.
So before I thought that skilled empath techniques and cutting cords of attachment were two separate things. They’re not! And it gets better. As you become a more skilled empath, you learn new social skills that will make you not set up the same intensity and patterns in your cords of attachment.
One more thing – having those Aura Transformation sessions/cord cuttings eventually gave me enough clarity that I am now cutting my own cords of attachment using Rose’s book about it. I am thrilled that she wrote this book with such detail and integrity, so that I can do just what she does.
Moving in the direction of bliss…
Dana
Wow, DANA. Thank you for eloquently expressing what I would wish for every one of my clients who was born as an empath.
Yes, both skill sets work synergistically. EMPATH EMPOWERMENT (TM) + 12 STEPS TO CUT CORDS OF ATTACHMENT (R) do make for a better life.
Oh what a great word for it: synergistically!
Hi Dana and Rose,
I am noticing the same thing. After cutting only 3 cords I am noticing that I seem to be using my mind in more efficient and imaginative ways. I don’t know how else to describe it. I seem to be more straightforwardly going after things that I want, and using my mental processes more effectively to get them.
Feeling greater clarity is a huge part of the difference, and being more quickly aware of when I am in negative states so that I can shift them seems to be the other part. That and just feeling plain happier which makes my thoughts run in a different pattern altogether.
The other thing that I’ve noticed is being more strongly aware of my empathy. I’m not sure yet if I’m better at turning it off now but I am more aware of when it is on.
I am excited to hear that you are now cutting cords yourself Dana because that seems like an impossible goal to me but I can see that you are right–cutting each cord leads to greater clarity and more ease with all of the techniques.
Thanks for posting about your experience! And thank you Rose
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne,
That is exciting that you are experiencing greater clarity, too, as you have those cords of attachment cut! I think that becoming a skilled empath is definitely a process, and it sounds like you are getting better at it. I’ve found that since I was such an unskilled empath for most of my life (didn’t even know empathy existed), that a lot of my unskilled empath patterns were tied up in many of my cords of attachment. These were patterns where I would take on other people’s emotions and then beat myself up for not being able to change them.
I had Rose’s book, Cut Cords of Attachment, for two years before I started cutting them myself recently. My reason for waiting was that I wanted to memorize all the steps and feel totally confident in my life before I started doing it myself. Luckily I didn’t keep waiting because I never would have done it!
Having more clarity definitely helps in order to cut cords, but it’s certainly not a requirement. Rose wrote the book so that if you follow the twelve steps, you will co-create with Divine Beings, cut the cord so that it never comes back, and thoroughly go through practical implications in your life.
The thing that reassured me the most was that in one of the steps, you do the Questioning technique to ask if you have divine permission to cut the cord of attachment. So I always feel like, “If the divine beings and God give me the go ahead, that means they know I can do it, and they’re going to give me the support I need!” Talk about a confidence boost! And if the divine doesn’t think it’s a good time to cut that cord, I’ll get a “no,” which happens rarely.
So I say if you interested in cutting cords of attachment yourself, go for it! Rose’s book is so great, you can’t go wrong. Really, I don’t know how she packed so much into the book and went into so much detail. I think it’s incredible that she went to such lengths to prepare her reader to be a top-notch cord cutter. And I have read many, many spirituality/deeper perception books so I know it’s a treasure.
I’ve found that cutting cords with her book has helped me be a better aura reader, strengthened my connection with divine beings, and given me much more confidence in trusting my own perceptions. Plus I am getting much better at dealing with difficult people.
Thanks Dana!
I have the book but I’m not very successful with questioning yet. You have to be able to locate a cord to cut it. My strategy now is to question myself to see where I think each cord is before a session, so that I can find out if I’m right. So far I have not been…it’s all a process. I’m sure I’ll get better at it. Anyway, it’s inspiring to hear that other people have gone through a similar process.
Suzanne
SUZANNE, Dear Heart:
This is very, very important. For the Questioning technique, for any aspect of Aura Reading whatsoever, please, please, please:
Never test yourself. Which is exactly what you have (inadvertently) been doing.
Whenever you set up an Aura Reading technique as a sort of scientific experiment, or comparing yourself to some expert (regardless of how fond she is of you and how, as you know, she is dedicated to your experience of SELF-AUTHORITY), ouchers!
Your inner self knows it’s a setup. No matter what you experience, and how you then rate yourself, you cannot win.
To get yourself out of this horrible rut of being mean to my friend Suzanne, try this. Take out your copy of “Aura Reading Through All Your Senses.”
Go to the Table of Techniques at the front, with over 100 different techniques. Choose your technique of the day, whatever happens to appeal to you.
Read that little section of the book and do the technique, just as it is. Don’t add anything like a contest.
It’s so great, Suzanne, that you’re experimenting. Just don’t set the terms of the experiment in such a way that you’re making it into a contest instead.
P.S. to SUZANNE, plus any of you Blog-Buddies who have been using any of my books or blog posts as a way to torment yourself…
Here’s another way to get a fresh start. Turn to your copy of LET TODAY BE A HOLIDAY: 365 WAYS TO CO-CREATE WITH GOD. (Available, if you don’t have it yet, at 800-345-6665.)
Do a page a day. This is very different from your typical daybook. It’s bursting with tips and techniques, all of which are designed to help you honor your human self.
Doing a page a day, from that book, is best for moving a person forward, very gently but firmly, into a stronger version of yourself.
With that, you’ll have less reason than ever to compare yourself to others, test yourself, etc.
Hmmm…I didn’t mean it comparatively at all. There has to be some way for me to verify that I’m really accessing insight as opposed to just thinking or making logical guesses, which I am prone to. I.E. it’s a family member, I think the cord must be attached to my heart. I wasn’t beating myself up about incorrect guesses, I just don’t think I’m “there” yet. Don’t worry, I do not torture myself
I don’t have that book yet but I’ll look into it! As far as I’m concerned, I will learn the techniques all in good time
Suzanne, what really helps me with the Questioning technique is to remind myself that I’m going to accept “the first thing that comes to me” after I take those vibe-raising breaths. And of course, since you Get Big and set an intention before that, you’ll be a lot clearer than normal. When I started trusting that the first impression that I got/first thing that came to me would be my answer, then it became so much easier. And it has taken time. It’s not the kind of “knowing” I was taught in school.
I’ve also started to trust my intuition more throughout the day because I’m developing that trust of my inner perceptions through doing the techniques.
Thanks Dana,
I think that is great advice–trusting rather than trying. What I have noticed is that my answers often come BEFORE or during the vibe raising breath…and this throws me off… because by the time I’m done with the breath I’ve already missed the first impression. During the day I generally do trust my intuitions, probably because they come in the form of just knowing things. I have learned over time that it is just a waste of time to pursue things that my intuition has given the “no” vote to.
It seems to be harder for me when I actively “court” those intuitions. It’s like the whole process of getting big, questioning etc. makes me too self-conscious, put in the spotlight, anxious. I feel sure that eventually (maybe through regression therapy) I’ll learn what that response is about.
Suzanne
SUZANNE, the problem you’re describing is a common stage in the process of literacy about Aura Reading.
By analogy, once upon a time you just read the pictures in your storybooks. You got a feeling about what the words must say. That kind of “reading” was comfortable, and you felt pretty darned satisfied with that.
Later, when you started learning ABCs, it probably didn’t flow nearly as well. And you might have been tempted to stop the whole process and go back to your comfortable version of semi-literacy.
Luckily for you, most Americans are literate about reading words on paper. Therefore, you received loads of encouragement to persist. And the collective consciousness here also served to encourage you to keep on going until, ta da! You learned how to read.
Unfortunately, American consciousness isn’t great yet about Aura Reading literacy. Just sample what’s on the Net. You’ll find the majority of people prefer the version of Aura Reading like looking at the pictures and getting a hunch about what the story might be like.
People “read the energy.” Some do a great job of it, because they have such highly developed consciousness. Most don’t do a great job at all. They’ll talk in terms of “What did you get?” and “I felt this? Do you feel the same thing? (Because, supposedly, “That would mean I am right.”
Not bad, so far as it goes, but it doesn’t go very far. And I think it’s really sad when people settle for this very limited version of what they could be doing.
They could all become perfectly, easily, accurately literate. It isn’t a matter of having some special ability but a particular form of literacy. That skill set is simply called “Aura Reading.”
Just yesterday I responded to a blog comment here about someone who is clearly curious and happy to explore auras. But she was asking about doing an “Empath Merge” on physical objects. I tried to explain in a sensitive, respectful manner that this wasn’t Empath Merge at all. And I encouraged her to learn skills of Empath Empowerment before playing around with Empath Merge about anything.
You’re a much more dedicated student, and client, Suzanne! You’re learning as fast as you can.
Of course, I will be absolutely delighted when you come out here for Energy Release Regression Therapy.
But I doubt we’ll be moving out alleged “blocks” about being “too self-conscious” when learning Aura Reading.
You’re really doing fine. The reason I have supplied you (and my book readers) with concrete techniques — like the 100+ in “Aura Reading Through All Your Senses” — is so you can just practice for 10 minutes a day.
Just do the technique, whichever one you’re doing. Do a little each day. It could even be fun!
There is no need to linger over glitches in the learning process. Let’s say you are learning to figure skate. So you get on the ice and skate for a short practice period every day.
What would you think about the “wisdom” of analyzing every tumble? How about analyzing your love-hate relationship with the skates?
Nope, learning an authentically new skill, like ice skating, or regular reading, or Aura Reading, it just takes a bit of practice.
Of course, critiquing your performance constantly as you learn — now that would be an important thing to NOT do at all.
Ok Rose, Will do!
