International Titles Still Claiming to Represent Rose Rosetree
September 7th, 2009 by Rose RosetreeI want to go on the record about the business relationship between International Titles, literary agent Loris Essary, and me, Rose Rosetree.
Loris Essary, a former agent of mine, fired and reported to the Better Business Bureau, still is promoting himself for sales that were made in the past.
If you are interested in having Loris Essary represent you, by all means contact me, Rose Rosetree. I will be glad to tell you my opinion of International Titles.
For starters, you might ask why Mr. Essary, who was fired years ago, is still promoting his connection with me in 2009.
Yes, I fired Loris Essary and International Titles at the end of the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2006. So it’s fascinating that on a web page promoting his services in 2009, three years later, he would make it appear that I still am his client.

Someone just put me in touch with Loris Essary, as someone I might ask to represent my book at the overseas fairs. Reading your note makes me wonder if I should. The deadline approaches rapidly for sending books (and, of course, money) to Essary for the London fair — so I’d very much like to know what the scoop is before I send my limited funds to someone who appears to not be as great a find as I was led to believe.
Thanks for any insight.
