Clarification about Cords of Attachment

I was up before 7:00 this morning, so eager to work on articles for my smaller, simpler websites like the one called www.cutcordsofattachment.com. It’s the day of my annual Workshop to Cut Cords of Attachment, and a couple of clients are coming over as well. But I had no idea that such a busy day would include the google/feather thing.

Before I explain, have I ever before mentioned the Satellite Websites?

The purpose of all these smaller websites it to make it easier for people like you to tap into specific bits of my work. They all fit together to form Energy Spirituality. For years, I just had the main website, www.roserosetree.com. It does have all the essentials… and about 4 hours straight of reading, if you want to find loads of free information that I put together over the years.

Still, about two years ago I realized that simple can be good. So I purchased domains for a bunch of specific websites (the one for Energy Release Regression Therapy is, actually, newer than the rest):

Each website is supposed to be simple, providing an introduction to my unique system for whatever the topic. Or, in the case of my publishing company, Women’s Intuition Worldwide, to make it clear that I do have a publishing company.

We just completed a contract with Piter, a Russian publisher, to bring out an edition of Read People Deeper, so my funny one-person company is climbing ever closer to having 1/4 million copies of my various books in print in different languages. Hooray! If Piter does a print run of 3,000, we’ll be there.

Anyway, as I prepare to go to Japan for Teaching and Healing Tour #10, I’ve been working harder than usual (scary, actually) to get these Satellite Websites running. For that month when I’m away, all I will have is a sweet little laptop that I’m not great at using, and so I don’t do much writing compared to normal.

The only Satellite Website to be ready, or nearly ready, so far is the one for Empath Empowerment. In case you’re curious about what’s involved when this rather passionate teacher does a little Satellite Website, http://www.empoweredempath.com contains well over 100 separate articles.

This morning, I was working away on Satellite Website #2, when I decided to google on “cord of attachment”

The google/feather thing

Over 3 million hits! It wasn’t that long ago I published the first (and still, so far, only) book in English on how to cut cords of attachment.

It wasn’t that long ago that I spent four months in painful negotiation with a major publisher, where the editor dangled a contract before me on condition that I would dumb down, ahem, simplify! my work. When I explained that there is some complexity to learning how to cut cords with quality control, Editor “Gladys” didn’t believe me.

And maybe she also thought that the market was really very small for such a far-out specialty. Because eventually she gave up trying to smoosh down the 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment(R) into quick & easy & worthless.

I never actually counted google hits before on “cords of attachment” or “cut cords” but last time I looked, it was more like 3 pages in total, not 3 million hits. Woweeeee!

Theoretically, I shouldn’t be surprised.

When I published my first book on Face Reading Secrets(R) in 1989, there was almost nothing in print in English. Take a look now, courtesy of Amazon.

In fact, just for fun, try googling “The Power of Face Reading” which is the title of one of my three books on the subject. You’ll find that many other face readers use this term to promote themselves and their books. Such a sincere form of flattery!

After I published the first book in English for empaths, Empowered by Empathy, there has been steady growth, both in terms of books and number of hits on the Net.

But to have so much activity now on the Internet, and so much really, really awful misinformation in some cases — well, wow! So I’m announcing a series of posts to help clarify my perspective about what does, and doesn’t constitute a really effective method for what I call “Quality Control” with cutting a cord of attachment.
