Contest: Aura Reading, Face Reading, or Empath Merge

November 25th, 2009 by Rose Rosetree

aura reading, read auras“Honey, I’m home.”

That’s my greeting to all you blog-buddies on my first day back in America. :-)

Everything seems so dear now — my huggable husband, Mitch; Matt, who just bussed in from first year at college in time for the holiday; knowing my closest friends now literally close, or at least on the same continent.

It was a special delight to find author’s copies of the colorful new Spanish-language Edition of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses. Much of today I’ll be sorting through stacks of mail and email, and in a couple of days will start doing sessions with clients.

    Skin, sweet skin

Having returned from a month in Tokyo, I had lost touch with home, sweet home. Walking around here again reminds me of a certain point in the “Coming Home” technique for empaths. While doing the full verson of that immersion experience in various levels of self,  close to the end of the technique, you take a Grounding Breath and move into awareness of the physical body.

Pop! Bam! Such a shock, that physical body! In the most pleasant way, of course. ”Supposed to be my body, is it?”

For someone whose primary sense of self is her consciousness, meet-and-greet with the body always brings an exponential sort of deja vu.

Well, this time, I felt the same way about home. Literal home, in Northern Virginia, the second ring of suburbs around Washington, D.C. is a modest, split-level house by American standards. And palatial, compared to my more recent dwelling.

Groggy after some 20 straight hours of travel, door to door, I made a point of walking into every room (except for my son’s messy, private, teen bedroom). Watching the colorful walls, seeing furniture, I was stunned at how many hundreds of THINGS here belong to Mitch and me. It was like rediscovering my very skin. Plenty of skin.

For a month, my residential hotel was lavish by Tokyo standards, with my very own closet-sized kitchen, tiny living room, smallish bedroom and bathroom. Unlike a previous stay in Japan, there was no morning wrestling match, squishing my futon back into a closet so that clients won’t be grossed out by my “office.”

Now I have more than a one-burner stove. I have a back yard and front yard and, even, yard around the side of my house. I have more clothes than can fit into a suitcase, and more than three pairs of earrings. My many bottles of perfume are here, plus spice jars in my kitchen. Also I can adjust my subliminal hearing to a land where people speak English, the ultimate luxury. I feel like a queen.

    Okay, about that contest

Now that I’m back, what about “Deeper Perception Made Practical”?

Comments from you blog-buddies continue to be a priority, checked on average once daily.  So don’t be shy about sending your observations and asking your questions about Aura Reading, Empath Empowerment and Skilled Empath Merges, Aura Reading, the various books by Rose Rosetree on Deeper Perception.

I also plan to post a few new blog entries a week. As usual, most will be inspired by teaching points that come up from my sessions and emails with clients. As always, I’ll include some celebrity readings — fun!

Still, being back, rather than blogging, I am going to make it a priority to finish fixing up my various satellite websites:

Because these projects have been online, awaiting my TLC, for the past three years or so. Each is to be a one-topic website that makes my work more accessible.

While it’s nice that www.rose-rosetree.com contains about 12 hours worth of reading material, and it’s true that all the things I do fit into one integrated system, sometimes a reader just wants to learn about one of these specialties. So I really do aim to get these simple websites together.

Back at this blog, I invite you to help me choose most of the celebrity readings that I do before tripping of to England to teach this February ….

    The official contest

Put in your request for an Empath Merge, Aura Reading, or Face Reading of anyone in the news. Just say whom you would like me to read, and why. If you have a good photo link, please include that as well.

The prize is having me choose to read your someone.

Over the next months, I’ll probably choose several. But not all.

It’s a way for me to profile the celebrities of greatest interest to you.

And do remember that you are always invited to do your own Empath Merges, Aura Readings, and Face Readings. Send each one to me, including a photo link, as an email — at rose[at]rose-rosetree.com. If suitable for this blog, I’ll turn it into a Guest Post.

Over time, one of my dreams is that this blog will consist mainly of Guest Posts with celebrity readings. Because so many of you Blog-Buddies will be really skilled and confident at using Deeper Perception.

But one dream at a time, as I settle back into this dream called my life in Sterling, Virginia.

    Welcome back, Rose!

I thought of you as I came across this article in the Huffington Post on celebrities who’ve changed their names. I thought it might be fun fodder for aura reads on birth vs. stage names, if you ever felt so inclined. Just in scanning the pics and before and after names, I was surprised at the hits I got on several of them. I wonder how they chose their names?

    Hi Rose,

Welcome back! It has seemed like an eternity that you have been in Tokyo, I can’t wait for our next session.

All right, here are my empath merge requests:

Catie Curtis–she is an out lesbian musician who I recently saw in concert and was blown away by her wonderful warm, positive energy.

There are a selection of photos there (click on “slideshow” and then you can choose the best.)

And my second request would be Tony Kushner. Because he is an amazing playwright and “Angels in America” is one of my all time favorite movies:

Ah! Yes! I have always wished for you to read John Mayer. Someone suggested him a long time ago when you requested possible celebrity empaths, but I think you had already chosen who to read.

I find him very interesting, but I won’t ruin the surprise for you :) (if you do choose him).

One thing I am interested in what he feels like while he is playing guitar. I think an empath merge could be really fun.

Some other things I am interested in are how he processes emotions (how he experiences them and how he channels them into art, etc, and also how he relates to women, especially romantically (some of the women he’s dated seem like bizarre choices from the outside).

Also, his soul age and guiding moral principal, because I always find those fascinating!

Oh, and if he’s an empath, of course.

Here’s an album I made of the pictures I found for to use:

the last five photos aren’t very good quality as they are screenshots of a youtube video, but I think they capture an amazing moment.

Welcome home, Rose! I’m glad you “came home” to your very own physical self and surroundings!

Here are my wishes for readings:

    1. Randi Rhodes – progressive radio talk show host (http://www.randirhodes.com/main.html) – lots of photos there for your perusal

    2. Eddie Izzard – I love this British comedian who has an amazing intellect and wit. Good pic of him here: http://www.eddieizzard.com/eddie/stand-up/

    3. Michael C. Hall – the actor who plays “Dexter” (a serial killer) on the show of the same name as well as the gay mortician on “Six Feet Under”. Really a wonderful actor and I’d be so interested to see how his personality morphs as he picks up the persona of Dexter.

I’m sure I can come up with more but thought I’d throw a couple in there as food for thought.

BLOG-BUDDIES who have written so far, I’m so proud of you. What eloquence, smart catches, and fascinating curiosities! What a great caliber of comment we have at this blog, thanks to readers like you.

I’ve long felt that people interested in Deeper Perception are both exceptional (yet sane), and the four of you have just illustrated that.

I am allowed to say that kind of thing, aren’t I? ;-)

Meanwhile, let the requests (and Guest Posts) pour in.

    Hi Rose,

I’m not sure where this post best fits, so here goes. It’s a little tale about the value of cord cutting.

A passion of mine for the past 6 months has been my 3-4 times per week salsa aerobics class. It’s taught by a young Cuban man (now *his* would be an interesting aura read) who was on the Cuban National Basketball team and defected several years ago while on a layover on the trip to the Goodwill Games.

While he didn’t achieve his dream of playing for the NBA, he still plays basketball at my health club, works as a fitness trainer and teaches this amazing class. He also writes, sings, and produces his own salsa and reggaeton music and has his own band. He’s a fascinating blend of masculine and feminine energies and I think the American guys in the club are baffled by his ability to slam dunk with the best of them and walk across the hall to the dance studio and wiggle his hips like nobody’s business. Not your typical American guy sort of energy.

This isn’t a partner dance class; he leads and has 40 or so mostly women (with a handful of brave guys) following him, giving basically no verbal direction, but simply leading and repeating. When he gets in the zone it feels divinely inspired. The energy is magnificent and transformative.

I was a bit surprised to hear the tales of the cat fights over the years, of this woman or that who, when politely asked to move a bit out of the way on the crowded floor, lashed out in anger. The police were even called a few years ago. Yikes! I’ve experienced a couple of these nasty responses myself, most recently a week or so ago.

After this particular woman spewed a wave of hostility at me, I was jangled by the blast of energy. I thought I could shake it off, but by the next morning I knew that what I was feeling was the effects of a cord of attachment, so I decided to investigate and practice my skills. While it felt very uncomfortable, I was noticing that I’ve gotten to the point (thanks to all this energy work) of knowing so well what it feels like to be clear that I could tell the difference. I could tell that this energy in my field wasn’t mine.

Sure enough, I checked and there was a big fat cord and I cut it. And I felt pretty much instant relief. This is the first time I’ve had the experience of noticing a new cord so intensely. What a difference it made to be able to cut it!

So grateful for having learned these skills!

ANN, there’s always room for a triumph tale like this.

One less call for the police, right? ;-)

Hi, I’d like to see an aura read of actress Mila Kunis in terms of accepting personal responsibility and verbal integrity.
I suppose you could choose any person and take a look at this particular aspect. I’m most interested in what people are REALLY like when something goes wrong and their accountable. Do they handle with integrity or not?

MONK KID, that interest in integrity is shared by me, for sure! Thanks for your suggestion.

I’d be interested in the profiles of the UK prime minister and the leader of the opposition.

    Gordon Brown – here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_brown
    David Cameron – here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cameron
and thinking about it, Tony Blair would make a very interesting reading too. Lots to look for!

Oh and another vote for Eddie Izzard. He’s fab :)

I’d love to see you delve into the aura of actor/comedian Jamie Foxx. He seems to be perpetually “on” with twinkling eyes and loads of exuberance. A look into how he processes emotions would prove interesting.

Oh yeah, and totally unrelated to Jamie Foxx, would you consider exploring the aura of Gertrude Baniszewski (who bullied Sylvia Likens). I picked her because I can’t think of any other famous bullies and I think it would be useful to understand the energies and attitudes that motivate a bully. What is their internal dialogue?

I wish I could think of another example but thats all that comes to mind. Plenty of people have come out with stories of having been bullied, but few reveal that they’ve been bullies themselves, so if anyone can think of any other examples of bullies that might be more useful, please share. I am very interested to see what aura reading can reveal about this particular dynamic.

Oh, I just thought of something I’ve been meaning to ask you for a long time. Can you read the auras of people who have passed on from photos? I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it in the blog, so I was curious.

If you can, I think Abraham Lincoln would be really fascinating.

    JORDAN, you’re right, of course.
You can read anyone’s aura from a photo. You’re reading that person’s aura at the time of the photo.

Today, that same person might be orbiting Mars. If that doesn’t keep you from having your good old photo, you still can read that photo.

The idea behind this, you see, is that a photograph captures information. The visuals had better be there, or few folks would bother to look at the photo. What else is there? A complete hologram of the person’s aura at the time of the photo. Every one of the chakra databanks is there and can be read just fine.
