What Will (and Won’t) Happen During a Personal Session

December 2nd, 2009 by Rose Rosetree

healing with rose rosetreeWhat’s the biggest difference between my personal sessions in Japan vs. those done back home in America? Language ain’t it. Japanese interpreters are just that good. Soon that third voice fades into the background, leaving the client and me virtually alone.

Consider that last part a hint. My client is always physically in the room with me. Back home, about 80% of all healing sessions with Rose Rosetree are done over the phone. It’s just as effective and much more convenient.

Those recent Japanese sessions were all like close encounters of the third kind, minus the UFO’s. So I was reminded how many new clients feel  just-plain-scared. Visible shaking is only one of the clues. When my client has that deer-in-the-headlights look, there’s a problem. You know that I’m not a veterinarian, right?

Today’s post is dedicated to any of you who may be considering a session, yet you wonder what it might be like, and whether or not you might need to bring along smelling salts.

What won’t happen in a personal session with Rose Rosetree

    • Will I predict your future? No, I don’t predict anything. I help you to heal in the present.
    • Will I announce that you have a dreaded disease? Hardly. If you need a medical intuitive or physical healer of any kind, you really need to go elsewhere. I specialize in emotional and spiritual healing.
    • Will I describe all the horrible emotional and spiritual problems that stick out all over your aura?

Aha! Here we come to a major, common fear. Please understand that ethics are very important to me. So I will never go into detail about a problem unless I am reasonably certain that I’ll be able to facilitate healing part or all of right then, during your session.

    • Will I do anything to take away your power? Not if I can help it.
    • Will I do weird, secret things for your own good? Nope.

Call me a plodder, if you must, but I feel that I have a special obligation to be transparent when working on the level of auras, where many clients aren’t experienced at doing their own high-quality aura readings (yet). (You may know I could certainly teach you to become a superb aura reader, but that’s another conversation.)

Therefore, while we are in session I will tell you about every single technique being used. I will tell you in advance, giving a basic explanation and asking your permission before we proceed. That’s only basic respect, isn’t it?

    • If you’re doing a session of Energy Release Regression Therapy, will I hypnotize you right away?

Every first-time client for hypnosis and regression therapy receives a practical preview of how we will work together. The client educates me about personal goals and relevant personal history. I inform the client about what we’re going to do together, why it works, and what makes this type of regression therapy different from other methods.

In America, I provide an extra hour for this purpose, at a fraction of my regular fee, because that advance preparation is so important for my helping the client to have the best possible results.

Okay, so what does happen during a personal session with Rose Rosetree?

Ideally, you’ll have a goal in mind.

It could be as simple as “My next step forward as a person.” But, even better, you will bring a specific, positive intention, such as “To improve the relationship with my spouse.”

Once we agrees on a do-able intention, I’ll read the relevant information directly from your aura. So you won’t need to give me the story you have been telling yourself — or your therapist — for years. If I have questions, I’ll ask them.

Sometimes a client really needs to talk. You know who you are! If you are one of these clients, schedule your first session as an extra-long one: Instead of 55 minutes, choose 90 minutes or a double session of 120 minutes.

Otherwise, you might be amazed at how quickly 55 minutes can pass. If you want me to facilitate depth healing, permanently, at the level of our aura, what isn’t realistic? To expect that you can chat with me for 45 minutes and then I can facilitate cutting a cord of attachment, or other major healing.

Be prepared for wonders and miracles, or at least something new

The simplest practical advice I can give a new client is to bring a definite intention. What else is smart for you to do, as a client? Bring an open mind.

No matter how long I make this blog post, no matter how many questions you ask Mitch, who schedules my appointments by email or phone (Mitch[at]rose-rosetree.com or 703-450-9514), no matter which friends recommended you and how much detail they gave you…  it’s really hard to know in advance how it will be, when we are in session.

    • Probably it will be funny, because there’s typically a lot of joy during these sessions of healing. They feel very spontaneous… because they are.
    • Probably I’ll talk quickly, in order to pack your session with as much help and knowledge as possible. (Although I really am capable of slowing down on request. Just ask.)
    • Probably there will be surprises – information that uplifts you and/or clarifies problems that you have had with past relationships.
    • And you can expect two types of benefit. Immediate results of your session are typically reported  to you with a before-and-after picture of your aura (done in words). Long-term benefits take days or weeks to unfold; usually they’re even stronger than the immediate benefits. You’ll appreciate them on your own.

It’s those long-term benefits that motivate clients to return. Yes, my typical client for Aura Healing and Transformation has 5-10 sessions. Some have fewer, some have many more. You’re the one who decides!

I just booked an advance session, so this was a helpful overview for me, and much appreciated. I am still catching up with all the wonderful reading here.

I have one of your books and another on the way, and am dedicated to make the positive changes into a habit.

Your knowledge has led to some at-times uncomfortable personal insights. But then, sometimes growing is about admitting to ourselves things that bring us closer to our truth :)

I was wondering, the techniques you go over in the Spiritual Cleansing and Protection gatherings – any chance those will end up in a book?

Much of the similar info available seems, well, not necessarily helpful… or not necessarily based in Divine Love. I would love to have access to those learnings in book form. Will your students be able to get some empowerment of this sort?

Taking a chance that you’ll see this comment :)

HEATHER, I look at EVERY comment here.

    Thanks for all you wrote.

Eventually, yes, there may be such a book, but not before 2011.

The Weekend Workshop on Spiritual Cleansing and Protection is the only way to learn these techniques for now, except for phone sessions of personal mentoring, and it could take 6-8 of those.

Even when there is a book to summarize the skill set, the workshop or personal mentoring sessions will be important for deepening the skill set.

Hope all this helps. I am very much looking forward to our first phone session together.

Thank you for the response, Rose! I will enjoy working with you in our upcoming session, and I’ll continue to follow your work. I’ve gotten a lot out of your methods already :)
