How snow can wake us up spiritually

February 10th, 2010 by Rose Rosetree

energetic literacy, aura readingSo beautiful, that snow! So surprising, too, if you happen to live in Washington, D.C., as I have done for nearly 30 years.

During a typical winter, we’ll average one major snowstorm that shuts down schools for a couple of days.

This time? Oops. Call it a super-evolutionary year. Last night we just got our second big snowfall in a row. Got blizzard, yourself?

Either way, maybe you wonder what snow does to people as viewed with aura reading, a.k.a. energetic literacy.

energetic literacy, aura readingFor most of us, big snowbanks translate into extra-large chakra databanks.

Silence in the air, and collective holiday, help us to go within and replenish our spiritual reserves.

May you feel free as a fresh expanse of anything-is-possible, fallen right onto your lawn and…

    Let today be a holiday!

And feel free to share your snow stories here.

Blog-Buddies, yesterday I heard that every state in America has snow right now. Is that true for you?

How are you’all doing with that?

And in England, where I was set up to give a workshop today, there’s a bit of snow, too. (That isn’t what kept me home, however, but the closed airport and badly messed-up roads here in metro D.C.)

Remember, when you see that same-old face in the mirror — and maybe you’re not getting out of the house as much as you’re used to — remember to do some face reading on yourself. Shake up that reality. Read it deeper!

    Hello Rose,

No snow here in the Bay Area in California. There’s a bit of rain, though. I remember some major snowstorms when I lived in Michigan and Upstate New York and how much fun it was to have everything shut down.

On another note, I thought of you yesterday when I was in Bloomingdale’s to dart into the make-up department to buy some lipstick. I did something I’ve never done before. Usually some make-up brand or another is playing obnoxiously loud music that assaults the sensibilities of even the most skilled empath, and while I was trying to talk to the poor overwhelmed Clinique ladies at a neighboring counter, I decided to say something.

So I diplomatically told one of the made-up young things in that area that there are many people who are repelled by such incredibly loud music. Don’t they think that sensitive people who don’t like noise like to buy make up, too? She was very apologetic. It felt good to speak up.

Have you been having problems with your email? An email I sent to you bounced. This happened once before when I sent one to Mitch. Just thought I’d let you know.

    Happy sledding,

    Ann

Well, the snow mostly missed us in Massachusetts. We have an inch maybe that is quickly melting. We switched winters with DC this year! I’m so sorry you didn’t make it to England this time–I’m sure it will happen again.

    Hi, ANN and SUZANNE:

We ARE crawling back out, those of us in Northern Virginia. Yesterday I went out of the house, past the shoveling arcade called “the driveway,” for the first time in a week.

Today, I continued the joyful momentum by going to the library and the gym and Costco. Everywhere, people seemed so very, very happy. It was as though each of us had received a reprieve from leprosy.

About email glitch, could definitely have been happening, Ann. To you, and all Blog-Buddies, try try again any time you get a bounce. Here are a few different emails to try for me:

    Hi

I’m in Illinois and there’s still some snow left around. I love snow wherever and whenever. It has a such a calming, stilling and serene, effect on me. Which is probably why winter is my favorite season.

Rose, forgive my ignorance. I’ve only read half of “Empowerd by Empathy” so far and I was curious about the title of your new book. What do you mean by “most important person”? Isn’t that a relative type of thing? Would you clarify that please? I’m probably lacking some insight.

Why don’t we try this, you rising empath from Illinois. There is a very full detail page for BECOME THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN THE ROOM.

Since I have already given a generous selection of articles and information, why don’t you check this out for a good answer to your question:

    http://www.rose-rosetree.com/empath-empowerment-book.htm

For more information, it might be helpful to know that the home page of my mail website, http://www.rose-rosetree.com contains book covers, and every one of them is clickable. You can find loads of free information that way. You’ll also find FAQs, like ones about becoming a skilled empath.

Just what you are becoming, right? Thanks for writing.

Hi Rose: I had to come back a bit to find this blog on snow. Why? We got 87″ in upstate NY between last Wednesday and today, 3/2 in our tiny mountain top town. 7 miles down the road there’s little to nothing — so I wanted to refresh my memory on what you’d written about this type of occurrence with snow!

Wow, Elaine! Does all that shifting inspire a writer like you? If you write anything short form, you are sooooo invited to share it as a Guest Post.

You and other Blog-Buddies are, after all, the personnification of Deeper Perception Made Practical. :-)

Meanwhile, stay warm. And when there is light at the end of this tunnel — I mean, ability to go outside again comfortably at the end of the cabin time — I hope it’s a delightful new start on life.
