Enlightenment Life List

Rose Rosetree's Enlightenment Life List
Enlightenment Life List — Read This And Be Inspired

Enlightenment Life List — sure, why not? Just as birdwatchers keep a life list of exotic birds they have spotted, I have begun a list.

Granted, this is just Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List. Mine contains names of people whom I consider to have moved into  Enlightenment. Not because they are famous or pretty or talented or otherwise amazing as human beings. As a teacher of energetic literacy, and also an Enlightenment coach, I research Enlightenment and what it means to me.

Here’s a YouTube where I aim to explain the basics about my personal Enlightenment Life List. This video was created in June 2016.

This post contains my running list, begun on Sunday, July 18, 2010. These posts can help you keep track before nominating:

  1. Discerning Enlightenment
  2. Enlightenment Nominees
  3. Alphabetical Enlightenment List
  4. Moving into Enlightenment, Helped by Rosetree Energy Spirituality

Rose Rosetree’s Official Enlightenment Life List

Big disclaimer:  What does it mean when I note that a person’s state of consciousness qualifies as living in Enlightenment? Is it an endorsement of that person’s healing services, meditation techniques, or other work? Definitely not. Use your Post-New-Age consumer smarts. Please!

Also note *** I’ve put an asterisk *** by the names of those on the list I have personally met or talked to by phone. “Darshan” is the traditional name for being in the physical presence of a person who lives in Enlightenment. Being an English speaker, I call it “auric modeling.”

Got more candidates for this Enlightenment Life List? As time permits, I’ll do a short aura reading for free of each nominee, just to screen, and will respond with a simple YES or NO.

How to submit a nomination for this free aura reading research

Here is my open invitation to you Blog-Buddies. Any time you have a serious candidate for this list, you are invited to write a comment with the following:

  1. To avoid duplicated research, please check out the list of previous nominees. I’ll only research a nominee one time for this list. (Some exceptions will be made, but at my personal discretion only. Thank you for respecting my time.)
  2. Include, please, the nominee’s name and a one-click link to a clear photo. Yes, a photo, please. Not a link to a YouTube video.
  3. Please summarize WHY you are interested.
  4. One nominee per comment, please. Unless your nomination is longer than a few paragraphs. In that case, please break up that nomination into multiple comments.
  5. Remember, even if your nominee doesn’t make it onto Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List, if that person has been a spiritual inspiration to you, keep that inspiration. A person need not be living in Enlightenment to do great work, be mega-talented as a healer or teacher or anything else. Your nominee could still touch your heart, change your life, even be a saint! As an Enlightenment Coach, I simply aim to help spiritual seekers to aim for standards. Energetic Literacy makes that possible for those of us living now.
  6. Finally, regarding your nomination, I request your patience. It takes more time than you might think to do this research, as does maintaining the blog itself. So I save up comments to this post and then go in and spend the hours required to respond. You might want to check back often and comment at other posts, too.

Fun Ways to Receive Updates

When you make a comment, you can check the box to get future comments on that post.

Also, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for new posts or all new comments.

And What Will I Do with Your Nomination?

Here’s my part of the deal. I’ll research and add that name to my Enlightenment Life List, provided that this person DOES show spiritual Enlightenment.

Plus that name will joyfully be added to an Alphabetized version of this list.

Either way, I will definitely add your nominee’s name to the list of those who have been nominated.

In this Age of Awakening, millions of people can move into Enlightenment, and do it as Householders. This Enlightenment Coach is dedicated to doing her part to help.

Moving forward to BERNIE’s nomination of Dr. Mark Hyman, who does sound impressive from the description in Comment #2122, I’d say:

    Brilliant? Definitely.

    In Enlightenment. Not yet.

No doubt, BERNIE, he has had many a spiritual awakening, though!

  • 2202

Next, let’s proceed to consider Nisargadatta Maharaj. Thanks, ALEX, for your nomination in Comment #2125.

Yes, onto my Enlightenment Life List he goes. Hooray!

  • 2203

On this roll, let’s go to ALEX’s nomination in Comment #2126 of Douglas Harding, the author, philosopher, and spiritual teacher.

Reading his aura from that photo you supplied, ALEX, I’d say:

Many experiences of spiritual awakening, and an intellect that delighted in keeping up with it all. But not in Enlightenment at the time of that photo.

  • 2204

Poet Walt Whitman comes next, also nominated by ALEX. This was Comment #2127.

As one would expect from reading “Leaves of Grass,” Whitman had quite some awakening experiences.

Spiritual awakening, however, is not Enlightenment. Not in general. And not in his case.

  • 2205

JESSE, what fun to research your nomination of Bishnu Ghosh. Thanks for that Comment #2129.

Dear Heart, I can’t research someone’s aura from a PAINTING. When you can find a photo, please resubmit your nomination.

  • 2206

Lincoln Gergar is the next candidate for research. Thank you for nominating him, L.C., in Comment #2197.

Nowhere close to Enlightenment, L.C. You know, “feeling strong vibrations” from someone counts as Stage One Energetic Literacy.

That’s a sweet beginning. But you can definitely learn Stage Three Energetic Literacy, which is far more reliable.

  • 2207

Okay, caught up finally with nominations for the Enlightenment Life List.

It’s pretty exciting to be all caught up for a change. And also to add somebody magnificent to my Enlightenment Life List, Nisargadatta Maharaj. 🙂

    Jnana says:

Thank you Rose (Sri Kaleshwar)though I can’t get my mind around it.

  • 2209

You’re welcome, JNANA. Being a practical person, you can probably put it together.

When I decline to describe at my public blog why I am uncomfortable with a beloved public figure, you can always ask me during your own personal session.

  • 2210

Hi Rose, I nominate John Michael Greer. He is a blogger (The Archdruid Report) and author of several books.

I have been struck by the clarity of his writing and its consistent stance of decency and kindness.

  • 2211
  • 2212
    Rose Rosetree says:

Could this be your first nomination here, ANONYMOUSLY ANONYMOUS?

Decency and kindness sound great. Of course, these are available to all. And long before Enlightenment.

I’ll research him when I do that next batch. Meanwhile, thanks for this nomination.

    Rose Rosetree says:

Today I have the privilege of adding another member of the RES community to this Enlightenment Life List.

Also my first client from India, D.G.

Although he has not yet posted at this blog, he has been my client for many sessions. Big congratulations, D.G.!

  • 2214
    Rose Rosetree says:

And today I have the privilege of adding another member of the RES community to this Enlightenment Life List.

This one is CHRISTINE, from England. Hooray!

  • 2215
    Christine says:

Thank you Rose! It’s wonderful to see my name here.

  • 2216
    Rose Rosetree says:

“You’re welcome” would be too small a response, CHRISTINE. The Enlightenment Coaching part of RES really matters to me. Part sacred responsibility and part delight.

Just to fill in the rest of our Blog-Buddies, some of your recent comments at the blog (under another name) gave me a hunch. So I emailed you and requested a reasonably current photo.

  • 2217
    Rose Rosetree says:

Fortunately you sent it to me right away. Soon as I could take a break in my “Big project, on deadline,” I read your aura.

Sure enough, this was a chance for Enlightenment Validation. And I got back to you soon as I could. So you didn’t have to wait long for a response.

  • 2218
    Rose Rosetree says:

Your soul, CHRISTINE, chose the Surrender Model of Enlightenment. Where your identity becomes God to such an extent that you witness the human life.

Although that life matters to you, in a way it doesn’t. The bliss of Divine presence is your identity now.

  • 2219
    Rose Rosetree says:

By contrast, my mission as an Enlightenment coach is mostly to bring clarity into the world about the new kind of Enlightenment available now, Householder Enlightenment.

This is the state of liberation now possible since The Age of Awakening began on Dec. 21, 2012.

Characteristics are different in many respects, yet both versions of Enlightenment are… the real deal.

  • 2220
    Rose Rosetree says:

Because I specialize more in Householder Enlightenment, it’s no coincidence that I find this more often that the equally wonderful kind that is more traditional.

So far, what have I found with the 30 people from the RES community who have moved into Enlightenment? For nearly all, their souls pulled them into Householder Enlightenment.

You are one of the three exceptions I know of… so far.

  • 2221
    Rose Rosetree says:

JILL ERIN MABIE went right into the Surrender Model of Enlightenment.

It was my honor to help, as finally she moved into Enlightenment.

JILL summarized her story beautifully here, at the guest post you commented on (writing under the name you used to use here at the blog, PRIMMIE). Plus you can use this link to find other blog posts she gave us while active here. (We had no falling out. It’s just that she got what she needed and moved on.)

  • 2222
    Rose Rosetree says:

Then there’s AMANDA FLOOD, whose story fascinates this Enlightenment Coach.

For years I observed this Blog-Buddy and client and student’s journey. Seems to me, she went back and forth, fascinated by a spiritual path that aimed for the Surrender Model of Enlightenment. Then she would integrate all the growth and move towards Householder Enlightenment.

  • 2223
    Rose Rosetree says:

When she moved into Enlightenment, it was Householder Enlightenment. Especially clear to me because I facilitated the Enlightenment Validation during a personal RES session.

(That is always my preference, Blog-Buddies, rather than what I offered to do for CHRISTINE via email, electronically. Still, CHRISTINE, we got the job done.)

  • 2224
    Rose Rosetree says:

Over time, AMANDA’s experience of Enlightenment evolved. I celebrated that in a post that currently is one of our most popular ones at this blog.

At the time, I didn’t interpret that change in the way I do now — so this morning I went into that post and added a preface. Golly, sometimes reading this blog is like investigating an archeological dig!

Note: I’m not implying that AMANDA has changed. My understanding and interpretation have altered. And I’m also not suggesting that AMANDA agrees with me. She has already written at this blog, in at least one comment, that she isn’t a fan of distinctions I make about different sorts of Enlightenment. At least we’re agreed that I’m a fan of her. And that she has moved into Enlightenment!

  • 2225
    Rose Rosetree says:

AMANDA is still active at the blog, as I hope you’ll continue to be.

One Blog-Buddy who kind of left in disgust was SUZ. Some of you regular readers will remember an exchange between her and me.

SUZ kept trying to teach me about “real” Enlightenment. I had no evidence that she was or wasn’t in Enlightenment, as she was never my client or student — Enlightenment was something she simply announced… as she left my blog in a state of great indignation.

  • 2226
    Rose Rosetree says:

However, it’s pretty bad netiquette to presume that this Enlightenment Coach needs unsolicited improvement via a blog contributor.

Although I’ll be the first to admit I’m still learning about a lot of things, it is my own personal blog, after all.

Certainly I know some things by now, through energetic literacy, work with RES clients, and my ongoing education as an Enlightenment Coach.

  • 2227
    Rose Rosetree says:

I’m convinced that Householder Enlightenment is the equal of the Surrender Model of Enlightenment.

    It’s just different.

And, clearly, new on this planet.

I feel as strongly as I do about anything RES that a big part of my job is to help sound the clarion call, bring knowledge about Householder Enlightenment into this world.

  • 2228
    Rose Rosetree says:

Back at you, CHRISTINE, as you can appreciate, our souls decide. I would say, our minds follow.

In your Enlightenment Validation, I encouraged you to seek out DAVID B’s blog for further Enlightenment Coaching, as well as a community that would be more relevant to your growth path.

  • 2229
    Rose Rosetree says:

Although, of course, you are always welcome here. Your contributions valued!

So we had a big of a laugh together that you had already begun to read the DAVIDYA blog.

Whether living Householder Enlightenment or the Surrender Model of Enlightenment, or NOT YET, or even “Who cares about Enlightenment?” — regardless — folks know what they need. This blog is just one resource about personal growth.

  • 2230
    Christine says:

I’m afraid you’re stuck with me Rose!

I love this blog and you and the community here and I am very grateful to you for taking time out of your work to do what you have done for me. Thank you so much.

  • 2231
    Christine says:

I am only at the beginning of things and need to learn. I find it very interesting actually that the two people I have felt most connected to for a long time are Amanda and Jill. I wonder about that.

It’s exciting and I look forward to exploring what’s ahead.

  • 2232
    Rose Rosetree says:

    Sweet, CHRISTINE! I’m smiling.

  • 2233
    Isabella Cates says:

    Congratulations, D.G. and Christine!

    And congratulations *Theodore*!

  • 2234
    Isabella C. says:

    Hi Rose,

I’d like to nominate Sir Patrick Stewart.

I was just watching a video of him playing with his dog (oh, internet…) and thought he’d be a good candidate.

Here’s a recent-ish picture of him with Hugh Jackman:

    Thank you!

  • 2235
    Rose Rosetree says:

Thanks for all your blog comments today, ISABELLA C.

It’s going to be great fun researching Sir! Patrick Stewart, along the rest in the batch that accumulates before I go into opening up all the browser windows for doing this research…

  • 2236
    Rose Rosetree says:

Meanwhile it’s inspiring, since one does also notice new celebrities falling into extreme spiritual addiction, like Eva Longoria and Megyn Kelly.

  • 2237

Ah, Isabella, I just saw your #2233 – thank you!

    Nice nomination btw 🙂

  • 2238
    Franki says:

Hi Rose, Can I nominate Dr Edward Bach of Bach Flower Remedy fame? I am so impressed with his philosophy and curious to know if he was an enlightened householder.

  • 2239
    AJ says:

I would like to nominate Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel for the Enlightenment Life List. She is consistently spoofed on Saturday Night Live as being a great friend of President Obama.

Today, she offered Donald Trump an olive branch—where he refused to shake her hand. To me, there was a level of authenticity that reminded me of the Obama years. I really love her leadership!

  • 2240
    Zofia says:

Hi AJ, did you know Angela is a molecular empath, like Rose is? Here’s a post.

  • 2241
    Zofia says:

If you check out Rose’s book, “The Empowered Empath” you’ll see how special that is. (I guess you already know.)

Anyways, I’m continuously grateful for Angela’s role in this world.

  • 2242
    Nellie says:

I’m incredibly curious about Ed Sheernan. He’s so popular internationally.

    This article, for instance.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_Sheeran_discography

Is he popular like this because of being in Enlightenment? Here is a photo.

[Photo is removed at the discretion of your blog monitor, as Mr. Sheernan is in extreme spiritual addiction.]

  • 2243
    Rose Rosetree says:

ISABELLA C, thank you so much for nominating Sir Patrick Stewart in your Comment #2234.

Put him onto my Enlightenment Life List? Yes, make it so!

Soon as I’ve come home from completing the workshop this weekend, “Empath Empowerment for a Stronger Sense of Self”!

  • 2244
    Rose Rosetree says:

FRANKI, thank you for your nomination in Comment #2238 of Dr Edward Bach, celebrated for pioneering Bach Flower Remedies.

    Smart? Yes.

    Disciplined? Undoubtedly.

    In Enlightenment. Nowhere close.

  • 2245
    Zofia says:

ya ha! So Patrick Stewart is enlightened!

  • 2246
    Rose Rosetree says:

AJ, thank you for your nomination (in Comment 2239) of Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel. (ZOFIA, thank you for your related comment as well.)

Yes, onto my list she goes. Nice catch, AJ.

  • 2247
    Rose Rosetree says:

NELLIE, thank you for your nomination in Comment 2242 of astoundingly popular singer Ed Sheernan.

He is in extreme spiritual addiction, not remotely close to Enlightenment.

  • 2248
    Nellie says:

Thanks for researching him Rose. Fascinating indeed!

  • 2249
    Zofia says:

    Awesome news about Angela.

  • 2250
    AJ says:

Wow, thank you for researching Rose!

I find it encouraging that in October 2012, she was not at all ready for Enlightenment. But now that we’re in the Age of Awakening, this Molecular Empath was able to evolve so quickly!

  • 2251
    Zofia says:

Yeah AJ. 🙂 I remember from reading Pope Francis’s aura reading, that he quickly moved into enlightenment post becoming Pope.

It might be that those with great responsibility are given a bit of extra grace, given the “times” we are living in. (Strictly just a thought.)

  • 2252
    Zofia says:

Or it could be that Angela “needed” the shift, and the lack of veil between her and Divine energies to propel her growth. (This is the theory I have for myself.)

    Either way, its good news!

  • 2253
    AJ says:

I would like to nominate singer songwriter Jewel to the Enlightenment Life List. I recently read her book “Never Broken”, where she tells some very inspiring stories about growing up on an Alaska homestead.

I admire the fact that she refuses to even get her teeth straightened, even though she’s been pressured throughout her career to do so. I also love how she stayed away from Hollywood. After she got famous, she moved to a Texas ranch.

Thank you so much, Rose 🙂

  • 2254
    L.C. says:

    Hi Rose,

I was wondering if Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche is enlightened?

I find that he has a very gentle teaching style of the great perfection and he is doing a lot to bring Tibetan buddhism to the west.

Therefore, I am interested in knowing if he is enlightened according to your standards?

    A link to a photo: https://www.lionsroar.com/beyond-meditation-september-2010/

  • 2255
    Harry says:

Ivanka Trump is in the news, for sure.

Is she in Enlightenment? Or is she more like Donald Trump, Melania Trump, Sean Spicer, Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon — whom I’ve heard you say, in session, are all in extreme spiritual addiction.

Here’s her photo. And thank you for researching her, Rose.

  • 2256
    Isabella C. says:

    Hi Rose!

I’d like to nominate Dan Rather. I have a hunch!

I’ve really enjoyed the writing he’s done since Trump’s election, essays he posts on Facebook. Clear, measured, reasonable, warm, compassionate…

Here’s a picture of him which I assume is recent, since there’s a giant “2017” behind his head:

  • 2257
    Caroline K. says:

I’d like to nominate Jane Katra. She does remote healing and is very inspirational.

    Her website wit picture

  • 2258
    Gillian says:

I’d like to nominate Dick Bolles, author of “What Color is Your Parachute?”

He died at the end of March just a couple of weeks ago, sadly. He always seemed to me to be wise and compassionate and lively, just fully alive and serving others and humorous, a combination of qualities that seem to be common in enlightened people?

Anyway, here is a photo of him:

    Thanks for researching, Rose!

  • 2259
    Rose Rosetree says:

A new addition to this list is RES student and client, AJ McClary.

Here’s the third of a short series of Enlightenment blog posts he wrote to share his experiences.

  • 2260
    Rose Rosetree says:

Jewel is lovely, no doubt about it, AJ. Still, I wouldn’t place her on my Enlightenment Life List, not quite yet.

As someone who has learned to read auras from regular photos, check out this chakra databank for an example: Solar Plexus Chakra databank for Handling Conflict.

  • 2261
    Rose Rosetree says:

You know, one of the criteria for Enlightenment is that all of a person’s chakra databanks are working well.

Quite typical of sweet people living in Human-Based Spirituality (as Jewel seems to be), many of the person’s chakra databanks are doing great; others, not so hot.

For now…. while here at Earth School.

  • 2262
    Rose Rosetree says:

Thank you for your nomination of Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche in Comment 2254, L.C.

You’re quite right. I have criteria — what you call standards — that I use that are helpful for those who are receptive to the Enlightenment Coaching that I facilitate through RES (Rosetree Energy Spirituality).

I do aim to bring standards to the use of the word “Enlightenment,” when there is such a mess out in the world. Nothing is less regulated or standardized in a consisten manner, as I would love to happen with widespread energetic literacy.

  • 2263
    Rose Rosetree says:

So if you don’t like what I write about anyone, feel free to toss it out along with the rest of the day’s garbage. 😉

About this charismatic teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche has astral dazzle aplenty, and also a gorgeous connection to the Divine. Very, very spiritually awakended!

However, he isn’t in Enlightenment. And, if you’re looking for why, you could definitely research chakra databanks like “Solar Plexus Chakra Databank for Handling Conflict.”

  • 2264
    Rose Rosetree says:

Funny thing about Ivanka Trump, HARRY.

My research HAS shown that all the Trumpian folks you mentioned in your Comment #2255 are in Extreme Spiritual Addiction.

To that list you might add KellyAnne Conway, BTW.

  • 2265
    Rose Rosetree says:

As for Ivanka Trump, she’s well known in TM circles to be a “strong meditator.” Someone who has, allegedly, paid for her employees to learn Transcendental Meditation.

I don’t know that for sure, of course. But the degree of spiritual addiction does remind me of many devout practitioners of “It’s not a religion” TM.

  • 2266
    Rose Rosetree says:

That tongue-in-cheek quote comes from a statement that Maharishi often made in the earliest decade of TM teaching.

Over the years, many people doubted that was quite so true.

Anyway, ISABELLA CATES, I’ll be checking out your fascinating next nomination when I return to playing catch-up on nominations here.

  • 2267
    N says:

    Hi Rose,

I would like to nominate Anadi. He has an interesting teaching where he integrates many parts such as free will, surrender, nonduality and individuality. His approach seems a bit complex from the outside, though.

I’m very curious how he matches your criteria for enlightenment.

  • 2268

ISABELLA, thanks so much for your nomination Comment #2256 of Dan Rather.

Soon as I opened it up and saw him, with my RES Preparation Process in place, I burst out laughing.

Of course he goes onto my Enlightenment Life List. Thanks for the inspiration.

CAROLINE K., thank you for your nomination of remote healer Jane Katra in your Comment #2257.

Sadly, I would not place her on my Enlightenment Life List. Instead, I would flag her as being in extreme spiritual addiction.

Feel free to nominate more people, CAROLINE!

Thanks, GILLIAN, for your Comment #2258 and your nomination of the late Richard Boles, who has brought inspiration to so many with his work, including “What Color Is Your Parachute?”

Nowhere close to Enlightenment, but he does have an infectious smile!

Thanks, N, for your nomination of Anadi in your Comments #2267 – 2269.

Finding the best picture you could is plenty!

    Nowhere. Remotely. Close.

However, N, you can find ideas illuminating and helpful and — as all you Blog-Buddies know — that’s vital for personal growth, right? This man has helped you, and that matters most.

    Hi Rose,

Thank you. I’ve been aware of him since his batgap interview some years ago and was both intrigued and a bit wary. Now I chose to put him to the test 🙂

I find it very interesting how someone like Tom Hanks is more enlightened in certain ways than many hardcore spiritual practitioners.
