Compatibility Face Reading for William and Kate

April 28th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Great subjects for a compatability face reading

How irresistible! Also, what a relief! Because this morning I started the day by doing a face reading about compatibility for Prince William and Kate Middleton!

One of my favorite ways to use the system of Face Reading Secrets(R) is to compare and contrast a couple. Not for predicting the couple’s future, no, no! This I’d call a “psychic reading,” in contrast to “deeper perception of people using skills of energetic literacy.”

The purpose of any skill of energetic literacy is to see more deeply into present reality, just to understand better the who-you-be of each partner. How are they similar? How different?

That’s what compatibility means to me, incidentally, not “Yes or no?” Isn’t that the kind of face reading YOU would prefer to receive?

For background on my system of physiognomy, click on the covers of The Power of Face Reading, Read People Deeper, or simply check out Face Reading FAQs, all at The Official Rose Rosetree Website.

More background of possible interest: The distinction between what I offer here at this blog, energetic literacy as part of the path to spiritual Enlightenment, versus psychic readings — great in their way, but entirely different — this has been the topic of a recent post, How are psychic readings different from energetic literacy?

    Golden-voiced Paul Coyte

Had to get up early for this face reading treat, as I just taped an interview with Paul Coyte, host of The UK’s More Music Breakfast Show at Capital Gold radio. Listen live on wedding day around 8:30 a.m. London time. And that Paul’s glowey face would be fun to read but for now let’s go over to my latest discoveries about Wills and Kate.

If you’d like to see their face data more clearly, use this Face Reader’s Link for a more high-res version of the photo at the top of this post and this Extra Face Reader’s Link for a definitely more dependable, if low-res version of the same picture. Here are the seven most fascinating face reading items I’ve found for this compatibility reading.

    1. Prince William’s in-angled ears

See the face reading data: From the front you can tell the ear angle goes IN. Why? So little of the ear is visible from a front view. Out-angled ears show way more of their shape from the front, as in the example of William’s father, Prince Charles…

Corresponding talent: Well able to handle conservative people and social situations that require princely or kingly decorum.

Potential challenge: Stifling his wild side? (In the case of this royal, I don’t think this challenge is going to be a problem. Keep reading!)

    2. Prince William’s Polite Power Style

Prince William's power style (in physiognomy)

See the face reading data: Which part of Wills’ face is the widest? Only all of it. Not exactly rectangular shape overall, but close.

Corresponding talent: Knows how to work the system, get things done without necessarily calling attention to himself.

Potential challenge: Needs to remind people to give him credit for the things he does? (Hmmm, maybe in his particular case the lack of public attention will not be a problem.) (Hey, I’m just using the standard interpretations of Face Reading Secrets(R); although the royal couple is special, I’m not going to develop a whole other physiognomy system just for them.)

    3. Kate Middleton’s Leaderlike Power Style

See the face reading data: Cheeks are the widest part of her face, even when she isn’t smiling. I call this set of proportions the “Leaderlike Power Style.”

Corresponding talent: Comfortable being in the spotlight. Willing to take on a higly visible leadership role.

Potential challenge: Tricky if married to someone with the same power style, as they might constantly vie for attention? (Aha! But Mr. Fiance doesn’t have the same power  style, does he? Perfect!)

    4. Super compatible smile styles

See the face reading data on Prince William and Kate Middleton, both: Open smiles where lips part, show teeth but not gums. Further, these are authentic smiles in that eyes crinkle, cheeks lift, eyes glow.

In this day and age, to find celebrities who do not get away with fake smiles – hooray, hooray!

Corresponding talent: When greeting people in public, opening up to a healthy degree. Willing to share.

    Struggling to smile

Potential challenge: Wondering , “Personally, I can open up with a smile in public. What the heck is wrong with those other people who do the fakey, fakey versions instead of a normal smile?” (The rather famous royal pictured here illustrates how some people can really struggle to do an actual smile.

Looking pained, as in this photograph, is only one of the many ways that Camilla apparently struggles with smiling. Use the earlier link to open up the photo, so you can copy and enlarge it. Or here is a dependable, though lower-res version of the same photograph of the gorgeous flower bearer.)

Of course, being willing to open up in a smile is a wonderful thing but there’s something to be said for ANY face reading data, part of what makes the system of Face Reading Secrets different than other versions of the 5,000-year-old art.

Still, it’s great that both of these mega-celebs is willing to be so humanly open in public. I think this is one of the reasons so many otherwise cynical folks are rooting for their happiness.

    5. Kate Middleton’s ever-growing dimples

The power of face reading... a dimple

See the face reading data: As recently as last February, Kate’s left cheek had quite a different dimple configuration. It was more a peek-a-boo dimple, circular and hard-edged. You can see it by using one of these photo links to copy and enlarge the photo supplied here: The high-res but not dependably working Link to Kate’s Dimple and the lower-res but stable link to Kate’s Earlier Dimple.

Personally, I suspect this picture has been airbrushed beneath that circular dimple. Still, when the photo is seen in a larger view, it’s clearly that rounded shape primarily.

Of course, faces change over time in ways that are meaningful. This is one of my favorite aspects of face reading, that intersection of personal growth, the use of free will, and how it out-pictures facially.

Related to the big personal growth for Kate Middleton, due to how she has dealt with the ever-increasing, nearly unimaginable, degree of public scrutiny, she has found a way to handle it… you will find aa very significant change, right in her left cheek.

Yes, Middleton’s left cheek dimple has morphed into a very long, quite deep powerline dimple. This looks like a long line, slightly curvy, going down the cheek. It has come to replace the peek-a-boo dimple. Yes, indeed!

Take a look for yourself! Again, the blog photo won’t be large enough to show this in clear detail, but you can  use one of these photo links to copy and enlarge the photo supplied here: The high-res but not dependably working Link to Kate’s Newer Dimple Development and lower-res but stable link to Kate’s Newer Dimple Development.

In addition, newer powerline dimples have formed on the right side of her face (two are visible now) and the left side (two, and possibly more, powerline dimples are visible now).

Kate's Dimple Development, fascinating to any face reader

Summary of significance: In her personal life, Kate used to use humor and lightness as a coping strategy. She would make light of things that troubled her, winning popularity in the process. Now, I think, it’s a less purposeful strategy, how she uses humor.

The structural shift to her dimple on the left suggests that she is learning to take all the public attention far less seriously. Her sense of humor has deepened. It is less a personality tool (to some degree intentional at the level of conscious mind) and more a sign of spontaneous graciousness and humility.

In a healthy way, Middleton isn’t taking her public life too seriously. In her private moments, she’s able to laugh at all the fuss — in a way that surpasses what she used to do, a way that bodes well for her future mental health and her marriage.

In an earlier post, I commented on the official engagement photos of this couple, lamenting evident pressure on Ms. Middleton to conform to the anorexic ideal. I’m so glad to report now on a very opposite kind of growth, as she is settling into her human quirkiness, as evidenced by this dimple development.

    6. Prince William’s extra resource for mental health

See the face reading data: The man is capable of what I call a “Zesty Smile.” He doesn’t do it always, but he is capable of doing it.

Which is more than can be said for most people, myself included. It shows in the photo right above, titled “Kate’s Dimple Development.” And, as noted previously, you’ll see it more clearly if you use one of the links provided for a larger version of the photograph.

What is a Zesty Smile? Both rows of teeth show.

No, this isn’t just a funny camera angle. Just try doing it yourself in front of a mirror. Most mortals can’t manage it without considerable pain, which detracts from the winsome quality.

Corresponding talent: The ability to jump into life with full presence, huge zest, a kind of uninhibited glee.

Potential challenge: Being way too wild and crazy to uphold one’s official dignity? But hey! Remember the first two items of face reading data in today’s article. The man can do conservative really well. He just has this extra dimension to his personality, a kind of inner resource. And speaking of inner resources…

    7. The single most important item of face reading data these people have in common

See the face reading data: Four eyes, all down-angled. Outer corners lower than inner corners for each eye — just check it out in the photograph at the top of this post.

Prince William, too young to read his eye angles

Most people have up-angled eyes. This item of face reading data goes with its own set of talent and challenge, at least in my system of Face Reading Secrets(R). It’s a significant thing, having even one down-angled eye.

Technical point, camera angles and makeup are often used to disguise a down-angled eye. For instance, the Kate-in-red-jacket photo above has her tilt her head to the side, plus there is rather careful application of eyeliner on the lower half of the eye in order to trick the viewer (who probably isn’t paying much attention anyway – unless that person is experimenting with the power of face reading).

See the Down-Angled Eye of Gorgeous Renee Fleming?

Just last night, I had the wonderful treat of seeing a televised, big screen performance of Rossini’s opera Le Comte Ory. Just amazing, amazing performances by Juan Diego Florez, Diana Damrau, and Joyce DiDonato. Renee Fleming, another extraordinary singer, hosted the performance, deftly handling intermission interviews.

As a face reader, I noticed that Fleming’s right eye angles up while the left one angles significantly down — very well disguised through makeup, as usual for gorgeous Renee.

If you want to check this out, you can enlarge one of these links to see for yourself. Remember to cross over to tell left from right in a photo, of course. There’s the Down-Angled Eye Better Link here, that you can open, copy, and then enlarge. Or there’s the more dependable, lower res Down-Angled Left Eye Link here.

Kate Middleton, too young to have her face read officially

Back to Will and Kate, a summary: Why is it such a big deal, having all four eyes in this couple angled in this unusual way? Most people are born with up-angled eyes, like Prince William when a baby and Kate Middleton when a girl.

Usually in my system of Face Reading Secrets, I describe a paired talent and potential challenge to go with each facial characteristic. Down-angled eyes are an exception.

The challenge is a definite. If you’ll research down-angled eyes on people you know, I think you’ll find that the challenge has happened right before the person’s eye changes structurally. For a right eye, that would be a challenge in public life or career; for a left eye, the emotional pain was related to personal life, such as family.

What is that challenge? It’s going through intense, horrible suffering — the kind one fears will never end. It’s common knowledge about Prince William’s mother’s death, the divorce of his parents, learning that during the entire marriage his father carried out an affair with, and then married, Camilla. Pretty painful stuff!

What did Kate Middleton go through? I haven’t followed her history. Any of you Blog-Buddies who have would be able to track what happened right before her eye angles began turning down.

Here’s the practical point. Both these young people have made it through the valley of the shadow of death. Challenge survived!

What did they gain in return? Down-angled eyes go with a talent for great compassion, more depth of compassion than you’ll find in most human beings (except for those who manage the neat trick of becoming spiritually Enlightened, for whom fathomless compassion co-exists with ineffable joy).

In a way, I’m saddened to find this similarity in background for Kate and Wills. But nothing could prepare them better for whatever happens next in their lives. These aren’t just specimens of the glamorous & gorgeous, the rich & famous. They are so brave, true survivors.

Wow. Very artistic ending to the post Rose. I am going to go look in the mirror and see if I have down-angled eyes now, lol.

Interesting stuff, as usual. I always feel somehow more productive when I’m procrastinating on your site than Facebook or YouTube.

I haven’t heard of any trauma in Kate Middleton’s life but hopefully if there was it would remain private unless she wanted it revealed.

I know she lived in Jordan as a child briefly with her family, and her parents are millionaire entrepreneurs.

Besides that and college not much is known about her I think? Could facial attributes be influenced by past-life events still held on to?

LOUISA, thanks for the background and your question.

Intriguing idea of yours! However, face reading through the lifetimes is NOT an interest of mine. For this physiognomist, it’s plenty to research what happens to a face during this lifetime.

Of course, past lifetimes are important. Personally, I am interested in them only in the context of giving, or receiving, Energy Release Regression Therapy. Unless there is going to be permanent releasing of STUFF, what’s the point of spending a lot of time on conjecture or ideas about previous incarnations? A reading is not a healing.

Indeed, I have noticed that (present company excluded) New Agers and others can bring up the idea of past lives as a kind of cop-out in not dealing with present reality. There’s good reason why most of us don’t generally remember past lifetimes. Evolution is in terms of THIS lifetime.

Let’s add another chunk of response to your excellent question, LOUISA, as a separate comment.

Still responding to LOUISA’s Comment #2, What causes down-angled eyes? I was not clear, evidently.

Trauma is not necessarily the cause of down-angled eyes. Instead, there is an intense period of suffering, something that affects that particular soul in a way that is really, really painful.

Obvious Prince William suffered very public trauma. However, the suffering that causes eyes to angle downward can be much less obvious.

One example is me. Toward the back of Wrinkles Are God’s Makeup: How You Can Find Meaning in Your Evolving Face!

You’ll find paired photos of me, one at age 19 and the other at 54. By age , my left eye was quite down-angled. But it wasn’t because of trauma. My parents were loving, our neighborhood safe, our financial status lower middle class. I even had a scholarship at a first-rate school, the United Nations International School.

However, for this particular soul, placed with this particular family, it was excruciating in many respects. This is why my left eye turned down-angled. (And, no, I hadn’t been born with it.)

Over time, and a great deal of healing actively pursued, I released STUFF related to that pain. Because inner self and physical face are clearly connected, that caused the eye to turn up-angled again — which it continues to be.

Rose, I would also find it interesting for you to research the impact for Kate regarding the name change, since she will now be known as Catherine, as well as the title bestowed upon her by the Queen, all resulting in a basically new name.

    Hi Rose,

I remember reading that Kate was unfortunately a victim of bullying when she was in school, and that she has asked for people to make donations to an anti-bullying charity, among others, in lieu of wedding gifts.

I hope that sheds some light!

As for other times of suffering, perhaps the period a few years ago when William ended the relationship with Kate contributed to the down-angled eye. I’ve read that she said she was quite hurt, though that ultimately it was a good experience because it made her stronger and she had a chance to get centered in herself.

I also watched the wedding and loved it. One aspect of the whole story sat with me and surprised me in the way I wound up finding it so refreshing.

In contrast to the spill-your-guts, tell all, drama-filled celebrity culture of the States, and those times when things were falling apart in Charles and Diana’s marriage, I find it refreshing that William and Kate quietly nurtured their relationship and that she’s conducted herself with such poise and dignity all along. I read that she was offered millions to do all kinds of tell alls after the break up, but refused all of it and was actually publicly quite dignified about it.

    Hi Rose!

Thank you SO much for starting this thread on Prince William and his new bride!! I’ve spent the past couple of days wrapped up in the Royal Wedding and its aftermath, and have rejoiced to see the very clear and unmistakable happiness and love that the newlyweds share. Nowhere, however,in all of the vast amount of coverage, online, in print, and over the air has anyone approached the subject of this stellar two as you have!! So happy you agree that this couple has something really special going for them. Just yesterday it occured to me that Kate is bringing a new strain of strength and vitality into the Windsor family – and then you speak of her “Leaderlike Power Style”!! :D

(I had, earlier today, thought of asking you to comment on Will and Kate’s relationship/connection, but didn’t. Strange, but so *often* since beginning, just this spring, to follow your blog, your threads and posts seem to literally ANSWER what I had been thinking of requesting or just wondering about…!! Could you and I have a PSYCHIC connection?? LOL!! ;})

Hoping that you’ve had a glorious May Day!

    Best, Charla
