Celebrate a Year of Deeper Perception and Deeper Joy
December 31st, 2012 by Rose RosetreeBlog-Buddies, we have so much to be grateful for, individually and as a blog community.
As you look back over this year, consider these 10 reasons to celebrate how magnificently you did in 2012.
- How far you have grown inwardly, both emotional and spiritual growth. You know God better now, and God knows you better too.
- How much you have accomplished in objective reality, with friendships and career. That includes overcoming obstacles, right? (And for some of us, each year is now a delightful exercise in “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy,” where we develop our personal set of “Secrets for Success and Prosperity in the Third Millennium.)
- Celebrating your improved ability to know the difference between objective and subjective sides of life. Discernment without remorse, worldly wisdom without bitterness — aren’t you better positioned now as a human living at Earth School?
- So many times, in 2012, life has surprised you with effortlessness, ease, grace, gifts. Give credit for wonders that came more easily than you expected. And here I personally thank the many volunteers who helped me with book reviews at places like Amazon, publishing help, assistance with spreading the word on workshops, expo booth staffing, technology coaching. The most delicious chocolates I have ever had in my life, as a gift, for instance. Plus every one of you who told someone about Energy Spirituality Sessions and/or workshops. Thanks, too, for when you gave someone the gift of a Rose Rosetree book.
- Glorious (in retrospect) are the “No’s.” Because these were your stop signs and turns on the Highway of Life. Long run, your time and efforts weren’t wasted, and you were reminded to look elsewhere for more joy.
- Good times, big things and small — joys that you planned count as much as the ones you never had to work for. All those happy memories will stay in your personal treasure chest of special memories.
- Every time you solved a problem or overcame adversity. Give yourself credit right now for every one of your human triumphs here at Earth School. Right now, can you remember a time you picked yourself back up, did something courageously new? Come to think of that now, how much you grew from that!
- Family and friendship, balm to the soul and, ultimately triumph for you. Nobody could keep your heart from growing this year. One way or another, haven’t you gained insight, wisdom, strength?
- Good health, and all you did to maintain that. For instance, maybe this was the first year you stopped a few times a day to praise your body out loud. “Dear, precious body. I appreciate all you do to help me live and grow.”
- The Divine presence within you grew stronger, sweeter, dearer. Aren’t you, the human, becoming more of what you have always wished to be?
And a special shout-out to all you Blog-Buddies who read the long — sometimes very long — ends of posts.
Those posts tend to be long for a blog. I know. This healer and teacher doesn’t think in tiny bites.
Luckily I have never had to protect my readers from reading things that run too long. You’all have developed your own forms of protection.
Whether you finished each long post or not, whether you commented or not, I have heard from many of you throughout this year. On-blog or off, you have told me this blog has helped you, inspired you. I’m so glad.
Feel free to share below, as comments, high points you have had in 2012. Make them stronger by celebrating in words!
Sharing with you… love, light, peace, and power,
– Rose

Happy New Year to you to Rose. Thanks for your blog, I have enjoyed it immensely in 2012. Here’s to a great 2013 x
My last session in 2012 started at 11:00 a.m. EST in America with a client in Singapore at midnight, just beginning 2013 in her part of the world.
This last week of 2012, I have had clients in so many parts of America, and also England, Turkey, Japan, Ireland, France, Norway.
Blog-Buddies, I have always wanted to travel. In 2012 I got to do some of that physically.
Even more, I have had the opportunity to travel to every continent and so many different countries, always helping people… which is how I have most wanted to see the world.
My biggest human-type dream has been coming true. I wish you the same, from the bottom of my heart.
Rose, I’m about two weeks in to “Become The Most Important Person In The Room” and I’m floored by how much it’s helping me. I was so off the rails I’m pretty sure was picking up STUFF from my overworked computer. I just enjoyed the most present weekend with my little family – more than I have ever. So thank you. THANK YOU. So glad to have found your wisdom and your blog for the journey in to 2013. Happy New Year!
NICCI, thank you so much. Glad we have been able to talk in 2012.
MORGAN, how lovely to hear from you for the first time at the blog.
Yes, life gets pretty off the rails for every empath who was born talented but hasn’t yet learned to become skilled.
Thank you for all those appreciative words. Yes, to us all, a very Happy New Year!
Rose,
I second Nicci’s comments and thank you for this great blog, which is a constant source of interest and inspiration to me.
As a grumpy Brit, can I agree that ” life has surprised you with effortlessness, ease, grace, gifts.”
Um, not really…
Maybe some of us can celebrate simply having got through 2012! We made it…(but let’s hope that 2013 is better).
RACHEL, thank you so much. You realize, even for an American I am at the extreme edge of mushy. If I lacked sarcasm comparable to yours,I would probably verge way over the edge into Candyland.
By all means celebrate authentically as only you can.

Happy New Year’s Rose! I love this post–your list quite aptly describes my year. So much to celebrate, thank you!
Dear Rose,
As I read this posting this first day of 2013. I was flooded with all the shifts and changes, for the better, that my life has taken since seeing your smiling face on the cover of one of your books on Amazon.com just a little over one year ago. To express my gratitude, to you, to God, to the grand scheme of everythingness seems almost trite. Yet, I am grateful. You madam, are the wordsmith, words elude me, so I will take my gratitude into the world and be the most human I can muster. And by modeling, My hope is that other lives will shift as mine has. Thank you for your tenacity, thank you for your courage and for your modeling. It is such a privilege to learn from you and to be in earth school during the same time/dimension as you…. Happy New Year!!
Well, Ms. LINDA STONE, thank you so much.
I just wish that when you teach you have the fortune to find such students as you.
So much has been learned, achieved and appreciated this year Rose. Thank you.
Having a blast riding the emotions of a difficult breakup, then finding ROSE and letting go completely was a highlight.
I now work in a teahouse, where even the refuse smells interesting and delightful.
My beloved mean dog bit me and ran away. Now I have one nice dog.
My daughter told me, “I love to make you laugh.”
Gratitude to the other commenters for sharing and to you, ROSE.
