America’s political shutdown related to spiritual shutdown, spiritual addiction, and collective consciousnessOctober 7th, 2013 by Rose Rosetree
A federal government shutdown continues in the United States of America. For years I have been writing at this blog about a different kind of shutdown, spiritual shutdown.
What is spiritual shutdown? The pattern of vibrational positioning is, sadly, common today. As is a kind of polar opposite in consciousness, spiritual addiction.
Today, let’s consider the political impact of both patterns in collective consciousness. I will include some thoughts I have regarding what you and I can do about this. Building this analysis bit by bit, let’s begin with the big picture about collective consciousness.
Collective consciousness, the basis of every government’s success (or lack thereof)
Shaping a nation’s government, the citizenry’s state of consciousness matters.
Every government reflects the sum total of collective consciousness of the governed. Without regard for the form of government, either. Democratic elections don’t matter one whit for making government work, not if the nation’s voters are chaotic or dysfunctional in their personal consciousness. When a majority of voters embrace a skewed version of reality, why would their elected reps. think clearly enough to acknowledge the law of the land?
And it’s a pretty sad state of ineptitude when those who vote federal laws into existence cannot distinguish between a law and a bill.
In the United States, our last major government shutdown reflected the consciousness of many anti-government… politicians. Citizens, too. However, these citizens had not yet moved into spiritual shutdown.
Back in 1995, America had a Democratic chief executive, President Clinton. Yet Republicans controlled the House of Representatives. Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich proudly brought the nation into a prolonged shutdown of the federal government. Twice.
So what was this imagined snub? President Clinton, accompanied by two former U.S. presidents, were coming back from the funeral of their Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who had just been assassinated. Clinton wasn’t in the mood to schmooze during the flight. Later, the three U.S. men of top political standing left by a different door, Republican and Democratic politicians united by (I imagine) a unique kind of fear and grief.
Consider the energetic who-you-be, or auric modeling, of the nation’s most powerful Republican at the time. Newt Gingrich has lived for decades in extreme spiritual shutdown. As reported in this very blog. See Newt Gingrich’s Aura as He Deals with Gray Slime .
While in elected office, Gingrich expressed the anti-government sentiment of millions in collective consciousness, yet his fans were not necessarily themselves in a state of spiritual shutdown. They simply had a political viewpoint that included contempt for federal government. Which Gingrich expressed ultra-dramatically because he, personally, lived in spiritual shutdown.
Today’s government haters reflect a new low in collective consciousness
What is Tea Party consciousness? Partly it entails glorious values of independence and bold courage. Yet today’s hatred of government may reflect patterns of spiritual shutdown in voters, not and just conscious-level, anti-government sentiment.
In my opinion, today’s national media often reflect the wide acceptance of spiritual shutdown and consequent inability to fairly report on reality.
Newt Gingrich today, more spiritually shutdown than ever, is now a co-host of CNN’s “Crossfire.” Where he has enthusiastically cheered on shutdowns as “a normal part of the constitutional process,” with 12 shutdowns under Democratic House Speaker Tip O’Neill and two during his own speakership.
According to the Pulitzer Prize-winning website PolitiFact.com, Gingrich’s claim doesn’t rank high on their Truth-O-Meter.
What is with that prolonged federal shutdown gambit, anyway? Who deliberately would get elected to Congress in order to slim it down, shake it down, and maybe bring on full-out anorexia? Who hates their own government that much?
Choosing that oxymoron of a political job has always seems odd to me, and not unlike the choice to become a suicide bomber. Personally I haven’t met too many anti-medicine doctors, anti-legality lawyers, etc.
Yet somehow certain conservatives and libertarians who clearly loathe government do what? They campaign hard to win elections. All so they can do what? Demolish their government?
Many today blame America’s current situation on weak leaders. What a cop out.
John Boehner and his brethren reflect the consciousness of anti-government voters.
That consciousness is reflected strongly in a recent interview by the now notorious Representative Marlin Stutzman. He famously told the Washington Examiner:
“We’re not going to be disrespected.” (Wouldn’t Newt Gingrich be proud?)
Then conservative Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., added. “We have to get something out of this. And I don’t know what that even is.”
What does this reveal about collective consciousness in Indiana?
Evidently a high proportion of Hoosiers are living in spiritual shutdown, no longer thinking clearly, their auras riddled with gray slime.
Gray slime is one kind of STUFF that accumulates at the astral level, bogging down subconscious thinking. Gray slime comes from resisting higher vibrational frequencies, such as open-hearted experiences, authentic emotional growth, and (pardon my mentioning this) genuine spiritual experiences.
There would be versions of open-hearted-ness, emotional growth, and spiritual experiences. Except in spiritual shutdown these tend to be rearrangements of existing focus on comfortable old patterns.
Surely this is a fine, honorable way to live. Just spiritually hollow.
Newt Gingrich has managed it for decades, all the while serving as a highly visible public Catholic.
When 45% or more of the population of a state lives in spiritual shutdown — expect the election and re-election of leaders with Stutzman consciousness.
Growing spiritual shutdown in collective consciousness was evident in our last presidential election
Speaking of deteriorating connection with reality, look at what had devolved in collective consciousness by the time of that latest public election.
In America, we have a two-party political system. Mitt Romney represented the collective consciousness of one of these parties, the Republicans. You knew that.
Well, can you think of another presidential election when the losing candidate had prepared no remarks in case of defeat? Mitt Romney refused to believe he could possibly lose. He lost with no speech, no plan, no clue.
Maybe not so surprising, with escalating energetic changes to collective consciousness leading up to The Shift. And intensifying since then. As noted at this blog during the decade preceding The Shift, more and more Americans (and others, worldwide) have hunkered down into the defensive position in consciousness called “Spiritual shutdown.”
Romney’s candidacy was no joke. He was the very best candidate who could be chosen to represent the collective consciousness of Republicans. And despite his many qualifications for the job of president, the man was so disconnected from reality that he had no plan whatsoever for admitting defeat in a national election.
Surely he had seen the classic headline, “Dewey Defeats Truman.”
This healer and teacher of energetic literacy does follow politics, though I usually avoid discussing it at my blog.
I have to tell you, Blog-Buddies, I didn’t think it was cute or funny when the Republican candidate demonstrated being that out of touch with reality. I found it a troubling indicator of the collective consciousness he represented.
What else has been changing in collective consciousness in America?
Simultaneously, an additional 45% of Americans (and many others elsewhere) have fallen into spiritual addiction.
A practical definition of spiritual shutdown
Aurically, the definition of spiritual shutdown is simple.
- Chakra databanks related to spiritual expansion, helping others, and otherwise being a World Server? They shut down.
- Chakra databanks related to human concerns and abilities dominate.
Behaviorally the definition of spiritual shutdown is complicated:
- Beautiful traditional values
- Emphasis on law and order
- Strong sense of virtue, including superiority to those with “Wrong views”
- Reactions to anything spiritual with defensiveness, whether old-fashioned human contempt, old-time religious labeling, stalwart disregard, indifference, etc.
- A crying need to ignore any aspects of reality that conflict with the established belief system
Meanwhile, what is a practical definition of spiritual addiction
Aurically, the definition of spiritual shutdown is simple, too.
- Chakra databanks related to spiritual expansion, helping others, and otherwise being a World Server? They expand and dominate.
- Chakra databanks related to human concerns and abilities shut down.
Behaviorally the definition of spiritual addiction is complicated:
- Beautiful spiritual or religious seeking
- Emphasis on energy
- Strong sense of virtue, sometimes including fear of contamination by “Negative people” and “Toxic personalities”
- Reactions to human and commonsense situations with detachment, over-interpretation, using techniques for escape such as seeking guidance from angels.
- A need to upgrade any aspects of reality that are not sweetness, love, and light
- And extreme ineffectiveness at dealing with reality
So much for the contribution to governmental sanity for the nation. Those sweet spiritual seekers, so self-sacrificing and persistent in the pursuit of messages from angels. So eagerly seeking their important spiritual purpose. So careful in what they eat.
And yes, so very inept at making contact with objective, human reality.
This does not have to be! But, for now, it sure is.
Spiritual addiction is a national problem right now. If I am correct in connecting the dots about collective consciousness and America’s political drama today, hello! It is not only the fault of the security-focused, spiritually blind in our collective consciousness. Inadvertently responsible are the sweetest, most questing people you will ever meet.
Including, possibly, you. (For now.)
How can a person recover from either syndrome? Spiritual Addiction is simpler to overcome.
If you have, or even suspect, spiritual addiction, there is a simple solution. Adapt your daily routine to include 20 Minutes of Daily Technique Time, Tops. You will find many posts on this topic, including Ghost activity stronger after The Shift, and more about handling it .
Yet you may not find that any online approach is effective enough. Perhaps you feel tremendous inner resistance to making such a change of lifestyle. (And for good reason, subconsciously.)
Then I strongly recommend having a personal session with me, by phone or Skype video or in person. Or, heck, meet with any healer you know who can help you more. The point is to get yourself help.
If you are interested in professional help from Rose Rosetree, bring an intention like “Lead a more balanced life” and let me take it from there. Sometimes subconscious STUFF makes it hard to get over spiritual addiction on your own, and I can help by identifying the nature of that subconscious STUFF, then helping you to heal it as fast as possible. Sometimes just one session could be enough, sometimes more might be needed, but always you would rightly aim for results from every 55-minute session of Energy Spirituality.
However, you’ve got it relatively easy with spiritual addiction. Unless substances are involved, it is far easier to heal spiritual addiction than spiritual shutdown.
Incidentally, dependency on pot and other recreational drugs can often be related to spiritual addiction. If that is part of the problem, appropriate help from a recovery professional would be needed as well… for support in releasing the chemical component of addiction.
What about recovery from Spiritual Shutdown
Of course this is possible. The hardest part would be admitting to yourself that a problem exists.
Then energy healing is necessary, because such a problem surely exists for good reason. Spiritual shutdown is not anybody’s fate for life. It is just an aura-level, consciousness-related problem. (Just like spiritual addiction, in that regard.)
Healing with help from Rosetree Energy Spirituality would require one session at a time. Probably not just one, either. Probably a standing appointment would help, arranged at regular intervals depending on one particular person’s needs and how that individual responds to aura-level healing.
Such healing represents great opportunity for personal growth as part of this sort of recovery? Because fears and trauma can go very deep. When someone shuts down to authentic spiritual life, there is always good reason. Yet STUFF can always, always, always be healed.
That’s vital to recognize because folks in spiritual shutdown often feel stifled, half-dead inside, scared, and very confused. “I am doing all the right things, the traditional things. So how come I feel so bad?”
Another problem specific to spiritual shutdown is how many resources exist that sound helpful but would only exacerbate the spiritual shutdown, such as receiving counseling with Evangelical or Fundamentalist practitioners. Just because the word “God” is attached does not mean that a person has any significant degree of spiritual contact.
Aura reading with Stage Three Energetic Literacy can show that pretty clearly. But how many Fundamentalist Christians do you know who are really good aura readers (yet)?
Of course, a person who wishes to heal and open up to life can find a way, one bit of healing at a time!
Incidentally, which chemical substances most commonly contribute to spiritual shutdown? Alcohol and painkillers head the list.
To change how collective consciousness contributes to America’s political drama
Most of you Blog-Buddies do not have a problem with either spiritual addiction or spiritual shutdown. So what else can you do to improve collective consciousness in your nation?
- Spread the word about spiritual shutdown and spiritual addiction.
- Refer friends to today’s article, if you think they can stomach it. (And bravo to you if you have read this article at a friend’s urging and made it all the way through to the end!)
- For spiritual addiction, you might give the present of a book that explains loads about what spiritual addiction is and how to overcome it, a how-to based loads of aura reading research, Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.
- Invite your buddies to friend me on Facebook, where I link to posts of general interest, like this one today.
- Or just have some conversations without technology. Talk to folks you know and share what you know about spiritual shutdown or spiritual addiction.
Usually I do not encourage you’all to teach skill sets of Rosetree Energy Spirituality unless I have personally trained you to do so. But this topic is relatively straightforward. Go ahead, spread the word! Explain about 20 Daily Minutes of Technique Time, Tops.
It would be great for us Americans if we didn’t have to hit bottom because of these addictions in collective consciousness.
Defaulting on the nation’s economic commitments by ignoring the reality that adjusting the debt ceiling is not about policy. Holding the credit of the nation hostage to a political demand is no sane way to legislate policy. It is simply paying our bills.
You know, what sane and responsible adults prefer to do.
