The conflict was small, Blog-Buddies. I wrote about this in Some gentle controversy around Enlightenment Coaching
Well, that conflict is fully resolved now.
To this Enlightenment Coach, it’s a teachable moment. Why lose the opportunity when we can use the opportunity? Today’s post may be of special interest to anyone who has wondered, once you’re Enlightened can you tell when others have moved into Enlightenment?
The minor conflict consisted of what?
In a recent post at his (fabulous) blog, Answers from Silence, JEFFREY CHAPPELL wrote some gentle advice to his readers through the example of one Rose Rosetree:
“She has challenged me to change her mind about continuing to play that game and instead to just go for enlightenment 100% of the time.
“I would respond that the part about ‘co-creating with God’ is a case of mistaken identity.”
Then he went on to explain about progressive iterations of identity at different experiences of consciousness.
My perspective was that Enlightenment is a 24/7 state of consciousness. It’s 100% of the time. And this is my experience. Moreover, co-creating with God is a skill available to anyone in any state of consciousness.
It happens that since moving into Enlightenment, I experience a much higher concentration of God as my personal identity. Yet I still co-create with God, Ascended Masters, and Archangels. Including the use of skill sets that I teach in Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection, Cut Cords of Attachment for Self-Healing, and also my book on how to cut cords of attachment to help family members and friends as well as yourself.
So there were points of difference. Yet, noticeable to me, and a delightful part of the teaching opportunity to flag for you Blog-Buddies. Did you notice?
Something distinctive about conflict among people in Enlightenment
There is no sticking place inside to hold on to conflicts, resentments, grudges. Because someone Enlightened doesn’t have significant STUFF any longer, there is no hard place. Where would that fit? Within there is only a place of sweetness and light and love and flow… called “The Self.”
As for other sense of self, that depends on the particular quality of Enlightenment (see DAVID’s fabulous comments at our last post for some gorgeous details). In my case, the human identity is quite householder-life based. There still is a human identity, whereas JEFFREY lives an experience of Enlightenment as non-duality.
For anyone in Enlightenment, however, there is no inner place for rancor. To discerning observers of human behavior, this adds an adorable nuance to conflict.
Conflict resolution, clean and sweet
Whatever one’s state of consciousness, it is good to live clean. In my life, I aim to clean up any conflicts directly with whoever is involved, and rapidly. Besides writing the blog post where I explained my perspective on what he had written, I emailed JEFFREY directly.
Bless his heart, that busy man dropped everything to set things right. The same day, he sent a delightful response at Comment 9. Besides that, he emailed me (and gave me permission to quote here from our private correspondence):
“Here’s where you (I used the word) ‘challenged’ me to change your mind—it was the last line in one of the comments you left on my website, from February of 2012; in case you were wondering where I got all that; and only FYI, not to make a big thing of it, but I looked it up just out of curiosity because I remembered it that way: ‘I, personally, enjoy the subtle contrast between being myself as this bliss and joy (and effectiveness) versus the times when being a human-centered identity DOESN’T have these qualities.”
It’s as if I feel that these days are numbered. That contrast, or silly game, won’t be going on forever.
There’s a feeling within me, to be blunt, that I can keep playing that game for however long I need to.
Right now, I’m about 75% wanting Enlightenment and 25% enjoying that delectable ickiness, drama, and extremely earth-like game.
So, just go ahead and tell me what will change my mind. I’d LOVE it. I’d be relieved.
Well, guess what I never had told that friend of mine.
I hadn’t mentioned my shift in consciousness. So JEFFREY assumed that this experience, in February 2012, was ongoing. Fortunately, by July 12, 2012, a new consciousness — and sense of identity — had dawned.
Over at this blog, I did quietly mention that I had shifted into Enlightenment at the post Enlightenment, from Boatman Path to King Path. And duly added my name as #145 to the Enlightenment Life List.
Note that name for the post. It wasn’t exactly: “Extra, extra, hear all about it. In this special edition, Rose Rosetree announces moving into Enlightenment.”
Off blog, I didn’t make a big deal announcement, either. Guess I told my husband and son and best friend, maybe others. Who else had to know? I didn’t mention my shift of consciousness to many people.
Once you’re Enlightened can you tell when others have moved into Enlightenment?
“Sure,” you might think. “Gotta be obvious! Like 12 feet of shimmering gold that bring all eyewitnesses to the floor, either bowing down or drooling uncontrollably.”
Instant recognition? On which planet?
Enlightenment is a state of consciousness, deeply personal. It shows in your aura. Not your lifestyle, your clothing, your religion, your anything else.
The big exception: If you have developed energetic literacy — which, of course, you can definitely do if you are capable of reading words on this screen — then you can tell.
That means Stage Three Energetic Literacy, of course. The beginner’s Stage One Energetic Literacy, making quick generalizations about energy, won’t be enough. Nor is Stage Two Energetic Literacy, often the result of studying aura reading for psychic development or energy medicine techniques. By contrast, energetic literacy is a form of reading, aura reading, that can be taught quite independently of either psychic development or techniques for energy healing.
Stage Three Energetic Literacy — becoming able to research chakra databanks at will — is easy-peasy, in person or through a regular photograph. That’s energetic literacy, after all. And living at a time when millions of people are preparing to move into Householder Enlightenment, you’d think that millions of folks would race to learn good skills of aura reading. Just to be able to tell!
Aura Reading is a skill, not a state of consciousness
So, of course, energetic literacy doesn’t dawn automatically because one has moved into Enlightenment. You learn it. Aura reading is a separate skill set!
Comes in handy for telling who is Enlightened or not-yet, or loads of other practical uses (Many of them are taught in Aura Reading Through All Your Senses; still others are taught in The Master Empath. Practical uses include three uncannily accurate lie detector tests and previewing what someone is like as a lover.)
Speaking of which, haven’t you heard that a reasonably sexual person can “always” tell when somebody else has been “getting some”?
It’s a plot point in so many movies, books, and TV shows. Gladys walks onto the scene and all her friends in sequence make remarks, congratulating her, because (supposedly) when a person has had good sex, everybody can automatically tell.
In our comments section, Blog-Buddies, you are cordially invited to give your opinion of that one. Personally, I don’t think so.
In fact, I’ll ‘fess up directly and say that I can’t necessarily tell. Sometimes yes, usually no.
Your love life secrets are safe with me. (With one exception, and I think you can guess what that is.)
As for your state of consciousness, Enlightened or not, that isn’t something I will investigate. Not unless I am curious enough to use some of my day’s Technique Time for that purpose. Or I am in session with you and happen to be researching your aura anyway.
Tomorrow, July 12, will be my second anniversary after that sweet little shift into higher consciousness, an ongoing delight. As for the work of serving as an Enlightenment Coach, that unfolds as well, one long teachable moment at a time.
