Crone Power. An aura reading of Elaine Stritch

Elaine Stritch, ready for her aura reading
Elaine Stritch, ready for her aura reading

All of this was lived by Elaine Stritch by the time she made her transition yesterday, at age 89:

The photo I will use for this aura reading research comes from her obituary in the New York Times, a photograph taken last fall. By contrast, the photo at the top of today’s article was taken in 2009.

Click here for this aura photo of Elaine Stritch. (To an aura reader with fluent energetic literacy, every photo is an aura photo.) Or choose this enduring copy of Elaine Stritch’s aura photo, appropriate for a woman of such an enduring celebrity in a business that takes pretty young things, uses them up, and spits them out.

For today’s use of energetic literacy, I’ll use the “Plug in with a Photo” technique from Read People Deeper. Just for fun, I’ll choose from The Charm Collection of Chakra Databanks.

Blog-Buddies, you are invited to create aura readings, face readings, and samples of Skilled Empath Merge. Submit them to this blog as comments, cutting and pasting into one of the fun little boxes below. Or email to storiesATrose-Rosetree.com. Perhaps your submission will be chosen for my monthly e-newsletter, “Read People Deeper.” Other submissions may become guest posts here at the blog. Either way, you win! Develop your energetic literacy, share it, and watch your skills go stronger.

Aura Reading Root Chakra Databank for

Expecting to Receive Respect from Others

80 feet. Shining, shimmering like quicksilver. Yet also fragile and frail, related to the state of her nearly-90 nervous system.

Energetically Elaine Stritch is like a spear-thrower, only she throws something more akin to lightning bolts, waking people up.

Another way to describe the special nuance of this powerful charm, hardwired naturally into her personality? She has come in on the Ray of Shiva. Elaine Stritch removes ignorance, illusions, and rank expectations, stripping them away without sentimentality. Her carefree cleanliness in doing so is a strong component of her singular version of charm.

Aura Reading Belly Chakra Databank for Spontaneous Self-Expression

Fills the room plus 18 inches. Old age strains credulity for Elaine Stritch. Energetically she is vibrant and outrageous as ever, yet her body has slowed down.

Although Elaine Stritch has learned to treat her body gently, dwelling patiently within the nervous system with all its age-related limitations, energetically she is a rollicking, in-the-moment outrageous presence.

This risk-it-all, spontaneous, unabashed way of interacting in public is inextricably linked to her charm.

“Nothing to lose. Nothing at all.” That could be her motto.

Aura Reading Solar Plexus Chakra Databank for Flow of Thought During Conflict

Fills the room plus 2 inches.

Elaine Stritch can generate the thoughts to correspond with her acid-tongued reputation. What strikes me most strongly, though, is how she has learned about letting go. Even her thoughts, the quickly generated comeback lines, are no longer held tightly by her personality.

This is a habitual letting go that once, perhaps, was the pleasure of getting drunk. And then this chakra databank records her having learned how to have a flow of thought while craving inebriation but having to let that go, too.

The striations and scar tissue at this chakra databank inspire me.

For most people it is difficult to think clearly during conflict. Elaine Stritch has mastered that, the hard way. With a graceful letting go that, also, contributes to her fiercely effective interpersonal charm.

Aura Reading Heart Chakra Databank for Receiving Respect from Others

80 feet. Elaine Stritch is confident in her ability to receive respect, both socially and as a performer. Yet there will never be enough, not enough respect nor love nor being known.

It’s not that she’s greedy. More about the configurations of STUFF that cause her to limp a bit, emotionally, in life.

Aura Reading Throat Chakra Databank for Communication to Gain Popularity

Fills the room plus 40 miles. You know how flab can hang off the physical body when someone is 80 years old? (Or older. Or younger.)

That’s how Elaine Stritch’s feels to her at this time. She has had charm. She has learned to handle having so much charm. She has had the sex, the fame, the adulation that extreme charm can bring a performer.

By now she can take it or leave it. Being that powerful a communicator is how life is for her, how it has been for nearly 70 years in the public eye. Sure, she’s charming to the max. She’s grateful. She’s also, pretty much, done with it.

Aura Reading Third Eye Chakra Databank for Spiritual Self-Confidence

This, Blog-Buddies, is the chakra databank around “I am evolving no matter what happens with my life, my work.”

22 feet. STUFF stuck in this chakra databank shows a lovely, trustworthy connection to Divine help. Yet there is a terrible old sadness, feeling cast out from heaven.

Oh, how hard it can be to live as a recovering Catholic!

Conclusion

That magnificent performer, courageous person, that no-malarkey Elaine Stritch. She learned to wear her huge talent, considerable fame, and unflagging charm with such grace.

  1. Definitely, I agree with you, ROSANNA. Now, you are one of the members of this online community who is a professional-level musician and performer. Surely you can say more about Elaine Stritch.

What made her special to you?

  2. Sadly I hadn’t heard of Elaine, which shows my lack of theater experience, but I loved this reading! What a beautiful aura, and I especially admired her creative flow in communication.

Lately I’ve heard more people making comments about age, like “Well, that’s just what happens when you get old” (physical and mental decline). So it was great to see how Elaine aged with such power.

  3. I listen to the “On Broadway” channel on SiriusXM, and they play her recordings now and then. Most often it’s “The Ladies Who Lunch” and “Broadway Baby.” I loved how she could milk every drop of meaning out of a lyric.
