Were you born between 1964 and 1980? Then, generationally speaking, you are a Gen Xer.
Amazingly, you didn’t grow up with computers. Even though you’re so good with them, you could be considered the last generation to grow up before computers.
Well, you probably learned to use them way before finishing high school. Still, there’s a difference, isn’t there?
What do I especially love about you Gen Xers as a group? How you question authority; then you don’t stop there but go on to seek answers.
So many of you Gen Xers care more to fix the neighborhood than to save the world. “Think globally, act locally” is no mere slogan for you. Thank God! And thanks to so many of you for showing social responsibility in that way.
Yes, Blog-Buddy JEAN is the latest member of the RES community to move into Enlightenment.
And one reason I chose this particular lotus photo will show if you click on the image and see the bits of brown on the leaves.
One of the sweetest things I have learned about Enlightenment is that each person has a story. I’d say that Jean’s backstory does have it’s share of grimy suffering. And yet… that makes the purity of the flowering lotus all the lovelier.
Graciously Jean shares highlights of her latest story here.
Could this be the start of a joke? “What does cutting cords of attachment have in common with counting sheep?”
No, it’s a slightly lighthearted but ultimately serious question, given some of the conversations people can have about what is involved in cutting cords of attachment, when to do it, why to do it, etc.
“What does cutting cords of attachment have in common with counting sheep?” Definitely something. CONTINUE READING →
Today’s blog post is dedicated to Gladys, my first client for today. When asked how she was feeling, what was Gladys’s answer?
Look, Blog-Buddies. I had just done a skilled empath merge with this gal. What did I notice?
Big progress since our last session of aura healing and transformation.
A stronger grasp of human-type reality.
Some emotional vulnerability — nothing weird. Quite understandable, given some situations in her life right now.
No way did I notice acute anxiety. If I had, I would have referred her to a mental health professional. Like any practitioner of Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES), I am qualified to help with emotional and spiritual growth. I’m not a licensed psychotherapist or counselor, not a psychiatrist. And I understand well my limits of practice.
However, two minutes of discussion cleared up the self-labeling as “Anxious.” Turned out, Gladys didn’t really mean a big-deal experience of “Anxious.” More like she felt a bit of trepidation.
And thus we were good to go. We proceeded to move forward with a session that helped Gladys move forward with her personal development.
Well, here’s my question to you: If Gladys wasn’t really “Anxious,” why did she describe her inner state with that word? See if you can guess, Blog-Buddies.
In Comment 3, KATIE asked how a smart Post-New-Age person could “get though the backlog of cutting all these ties?” Such a good question!
In response, Emily proceeded to share some wonderful suggestions in her Comments 6-10. (Note: Could be that cutting cords of attachment is one of the ways that EMILY accelerated her personal development before moving into Enlightenment.)
There is one big no. Do NOT cut these cords of attachment for yourself…
Even if you have excellent skills at self-healing with the 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment®, I urge you not to attempt to cut a cord of attachment when someone who has recently died or committed suicide. Neither to the late individual, nor to family members or friends of the deceased person.
Or to a person who has died, however long ago, if that person was a blood relative, a lover, or someone else of very big importance in your life.
I’ll supplement that fair warning with today’s article.
The target audience for today’s article is you, your friends, and anyone you know who has learned any of the self-healing techniques of Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES).
Self-Healing with RES Can Definitely Empower You, But…
Yesterday was widely celebrated as “Back to the Future” Day, related to the time travel date in the highly entertaining movie “Back to the Future 2.” The premise was taking a 30-year leap into the future.
If you have the chance to see today’s issue of “USA Today,” the newspaper starts with a gag section for today’s news, based on the premise of “Back to the Future” Day.
In that movie, the characters played by Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd had already traveled to the future and back. For this sequel, they would travel forward again, this time to October 21, 2015. So entertaining, how that date was imagined in a movie released 30 years ago!
Well, Blog-Buddies, today is October 22, 2015. Which is a perfect day for us to think together, back at the topic of our future. Not just whether or not there will be hoverboards.
What will everyday life will be like for you… where you live now… 30 years ahead?
I’ll share my thoughts here. Then you are soooooo warmly invited to comment with yours as well.
We can be afford to be playful, since the “Deeper Perception” that we make practical at this blog involves no psychic development. So we celebrate gaining insight into life as it is now — to benefit from aura healing emotionally and spiritually — to gain meaningful knowledge — all for the sake of improving the present.
Therefore we have no urgent need for accuracy when enjoying this article’s premise, predicting the future.
What are your dreams? Your hopes? Your fears? Just plain thoughts!
When he called for his session of aura healing, my client Joe was pretty upset. He’s the top executive at a major company. In that leadership capacity, Joe oversees multiple facilities, supervising dozens of managers; he is responsible for the livelihood of thousands.
And usually that Joe is pretty darned serene, no matter which problem he faces.
But for this phone session, Joe was audibly upset. One of his top managers, the CFO, just died in a car crash. The sudden death of “Mr. Gladys” shook my long-term client.
Joe’s intention for the session was to enjoy his life more. And that session proved very successful for him, both helping him now plus — it turned out — Joe’s session safeguarded him against problems that could have arisen in the future. CONTINUE READING →
Ed Walker won’t be able to see what I’m describing while I read his face. He’s blind.
But he can feel his face data when I describe it. Just as Ed Walker can assess the truth of this face reader’s tribute to him.
Similarly this listener, among countless others over the years, has felt as though he was our friend. Who cares if we physically saw him in the room with us? At public radio station WAMU, Sunday nights belonged to Ed Walker. He shared great classic radio shows for more than 60 years.
