Nicole Kidman photo used for Skilled Empath Merge
As is my custom, my Skilled Empath Merge uses the “Magic Picture” technique from Become the Most Important Person in the Room, done before I read Rose’s movie review with energetic literacy on this Oscar Nominee. For me, it’s just my way of doing quality control to make sure I’m not being influenced by what you have written.
The Reality She Lives in: Aura Reading Databank at the Root Chakra
Nicole is very practical, but there’s a softness to her that’s surprising considering the industry she’s involved with. She still at times has a little girl quality to her. Read More »

Jennifer Lawrence, playing herself
Will Jennifer Lawrence win this year’s Academy Award for youngest actress? Okay, I really mean Academy Award for Best Actress.
Each Oscar nominee for best actor in 2011 will receive special treatment here, one blog post at a time. Although I can’t predict, I’m sure interested in evaluating her performance from the inside out, at the level of chakra databanks.
Are you ready to join me? Do you know what on earth I mean by terms like “energetic literacy” and “chakra databank”? If not, take a look at this introductory post about movie reviews with energetic literacy.
In her nominated role, Jennifer Lawrence portrays Ree, a 17-year-old girl in the rural Ozarks who searches for her missing father after he places the family’s home in jeopardy. Read More »

Annette Bening in "The Kids Are All Right"
Oscar season at this blog is just crammed with aura reading research and empath merges, especially focusing on the Academy Award nominees for Best Actor and Best Actress, our collective celebrity family. We’re doing movie reviews with energetic literacy and, sometimes simply profiling those familiar celebs by means of deeper perception.
This is a really winning year at Deeper Perception Made Practical, because it’s the first year anybody has offered guest posts with fresh readings.

Annette Bening, ready for her Skilled Empath Merge
I’m so proud of Blog-Buddy Elaine, who has been specializing in doing Skilled Empath Merge. Below is her energetic literacy profile on Annette Bening, using this photo where the actress is playing herself.
Here is my Skilled Empath Merge on Annette Bening, using the “Magic Picture” technique from Become the Most Important Person in the Room.
The Reality She Lives in: Aura Reading Databank at the Root Chakra
There’s a no-nonsense approach to life. If something has to be fixed, Annette jumps on it, knowing she can take care of most situations that arise.
Bening is very grounded in knowing what needs to be taken care of emotionally, physically, monetarily. But sometimes she misses the bigger picture and some situations could be approached in a smoother, slightly softer manner than she currently uses. Read More »

Although I can’t predict, I’m sure interested in evaluating her performance from the inside out, at the level of chakra databanks. For this type of research, I definitely recommend doing a technique to read auras from photos rather than any type of Skilled Empath Merge — because characters acted in movies can be quite troubled.
Are you ready to join me, reading the research below or using some energetic literacy skills of your own? Do you know what on earth I mean by terms like “energetic literacy” and “chakra databank”? If not, take a look at this introductory post about movie reviews with energetic literacy.
In her nominated role, Bening plays Nic, a successful doctor who has raised two children with her female partner and must confront the problems that arise when they seek out their biological father. Read More »

Movie Reviews with Energetic Literacy
Join in this year’s ritual of Movie Reviews with Energetic Literacy? Sure, you may want to join us even if you don’t like movies much. Same if, ordinarily, you don’t care much for aura reading.
Blog-Buddies, have you been wanting to invite some friends to join us here, even sending out tweets or adding to your wall on Facebook? This thread could be just the thing. Because the annual Academy Awards in America are an international conversation; film stars, like Olympic athletes, are humanity’s collective family and, therefore, great topics for reaching out in conversation. Just add this idea to any invitation you send:
In this third millennium, regular movie reviews are so passe. The leading edge of film criticism is to compare the aura of a star being “the star” versus the nominated film performance. Really great actors manage to change all the way down to their chakra databanks, something most human beings seldom do.
It’s one thing to put on an act to impress someone (distorting the usual dynamics in a chakra databank). Or to send out a personality projection (as “players” and sexual predators do).
A truly great actor purposely changes, and changes so deeply that it shows on the level of chakra databanks. Read More »

Blog-Buddies, like you, perhaps, I’ll be watching the broadcast tonight, stopping occasionally to do Aura Reading Research or even the occasional Empath Merge during an acceptance speech.
How I wish that big awards were given every day here at Earth School — and to the likes of us. Seems tedious, having to wait for a Life Review to receive all the feedback.
Of course, you’ve got a “Go-getter” spirit to match your curiosity about energetic literacy. If you wanted mostly to celebrate how far you have come, I doubt you’d have much interest in reading people deeper. Instead, you want to keep moving forward. You aim to use your skills of energetic literacy to learn more, and serve others better, day by day. Yes? That’s my approach, anyway.
Completing this year’s Academy Awards
I’d like to do one more Aura Reading or Face Reading related to this year’s Oscars. You’re invited to add your candidates, one per comment. Ideally, you’ll also supply a photo link plus a reason why you think that person, or performance, would be especially interesting to us all.
Yes, within a couple of days I’ll choose one from this fascinating collection.
Even more fascinating, consider yourself invited to add your own Aura Reading, Empath Merge, or Face Reading — any combo — on anyone involved in the Oscars. Or simply share which movie wins your personal vote for Best Movie of 2009.
Many of you Blog-Buddies have really great skills at Deeper Perception and making it practical. So don’t be shy here. Make comments about any public figure you wish, and make them as long and detailed as you wish.
- If any of you supply really detailed readings, I’ll turn turn each one into a Guest Post.
- If you would like to comment anonymously, and don’t know for sure if you have the tech skills to ensure anonymity, no worries. I must enable every single post. So just add a note to me. I care a lot about all you Blog-Buddies and will gladly honor such a request.
- And, yes, you Correspondence Course students at Face Reading — you won’t get credit for it, but what a great way to flex your physiognomy muscles. (Yes, Blog-Buddies, I currently have a bunch of really superb Face Reading Mentoring students.)
So, what else do you think about all those movies and directors and actors?
Just in case you would like some historical perspective
All of us are living at a time of hugely accelerated spiritual evolution. If you have been feeling intense fears, sorrows, or other emotions of releasing, you’re not alone.
Calamities in Chile and Haiti are physically obvious types of suffering. Unheralded by the media, many of you Blog-Buddies are having private earthquakes and floods of your own. Because I do those healing sessions, I know about some of this. And I want you to know that this online community is here to help.
Don’t expect outer or inner drama to stop before 2012. It is a collective flow.
Community has always mattered in life, and never more than now. This community supports those who are highly sensitive persons, empaths, and all who simply are curious about finding the essence of things.
In a way, we’re the counter-weight to social networking. Here we don’t have to broadcast our facts and figures and photos and brags. Instead, we get to inquire and assess and explore… sharing moments with like-minded Blog-Buddies.
Why have I made such a big deal of movies? Why not. It’s a relatively lighthearted (okay, very relatively, in some precious cases) way for us to notice collective life and, safely, awaken our Deeper Perception — survival skills for the third millennium.

In “The Hurt Locker,” Jeremy Renner portrays William James, the author of The Varieties of Religious Experience.
Wait, no, that William James wrote an amazing book about mystical experience, definitely not this movie.
Ahem! In the nominated role, William James is a staff sergeant who thrives on the risk and danger of his job, which happens to include Varieties of Religious Experience. Oops, defusing bombs. Read More »

In “Invictus,” one great man portrays another. Morgan Freeman, shown here to our left, portrays Nelson Mandela.
This move recounts how the South African president seizes on the national rugby team’s chances in the World Cup. Mandela was seeking a means to unite his country.
Recently, one of our Blog-Buddies, Suzanne, expressed the desire for more movies about inspiring, self-actualized people. Keeping that in mind, roll up your sleeves, or unfurl your techniques for aura reading research, and join me in our assessment. Read More »
