Why, if I am a World Server, do I feel crummy?

February 6th, 2012 by Rose Rosetree

January was a hard month for some of you Blog-Buddies. Even if good things happened, too.

JOE had a tough month, for instance. He looked online, seeking explanation, consolation, whatever would bring him a feeling of support. Here’s what JOE found:

“If you feel bad, you should introspect and find out what you are doing wrong.”

For most of you Blog-Buddies, that would be a terible approach. The purpose of today’s post is explain why I think so, plus offer you alternatives.

Guidance with Thrill Your Soul Research

January 2nd, 2012 by Rose Rosetree

Rose Rosetree teaches guidance with Thrill Your Soul Aura Reading Research

Let’s consider our exploration of what it would mean to have Better Guidance in 2012. So far, we explored the methods you’ll find in mainstream society in general and New Age in particular:

    • God in the form of an angel.
    • God in the form of synchronicity.
    • God in the form of your guardian angel.
    • Jesus, as in having Jesus ask you, “What would YOU do?” (A riff on the movement called “What would Jesus do?”)
    • Asking your gut feelings to guide you.
    • Letting life be your teacher.

In the last post, besides pointing out limitations to all these methods, I drew attention to consequences. I also dropped what I hope was a delicious little hint. So let’s start there. Read More »

    Spiritual Addiction, Q&As

November 22nd, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

The first Rose Rosetree book discussing spiritual addiction

FAQs about spiritual addiction? It’s about time, right. For the last couple of years, I’ve been educating people about spiritual addiction.

    • In my last book, “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.” I wrote about this for the first time. Included is a chapter distinguishing spiritual addiction from Enlightenment.
    • In my upcoming how-to, “Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection,” I take the understanding further. That requires clarifying a common cause of spiritual addiction, The Romance of the Astral.
    • In sessions of Aura Healing with Energy Spirituality, the topic has sometimes come up.

For one reason or another, so many of you Blog-Buddies have been seeking to know more.

Well, let’s get practical. Here are my responses to common questions. If you have additional questions, ask them below.

     Q. What is spiritual addiction?

    A. Spiritual addiction is an aura-level problem that produces real-life consequences. Everyone has hundreds of circuits within the aura called chakra databanks. Many of them are about human life, helping you to be effective as a person, balanced and happy. Others are about being a world server, assisting other people in the world, connecting to Read More »

Cutting cords of attachment to a GREAT relationship

November 10th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    Preemptive cord cutting?

Trust Blog-Buddy GRACE S. to ask something really deep. It would have been Comment #20 in the post about Karma + Yuckiness Index + Cords of Attachment, all part of your path to Enlightenment , only the set of questions was too, too fabulous.

So I turned her comment into a promise that I would do this guest post. Today I make good on that promise.

In the “Q&A Conversation” that follows, I will alternate GRACE’s words (as if Questions) with my answers (as if they were Answers). Here we go!

    Cord-cutting with your child?

    Q. My husband and I have talked about the idea of “Why wouldn’t you just cut the cord of attachment with your young child preemptively?”

    A. Of course, it’s a great idea to cut a cord of attachment to every single child you have. Just wait until that child is physically born! Read More »

Karma + Yuckiness Index + Cords of Attachment, all part of your path to Enlightenment

October 15th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Getting off the wheel of karma

Let’s move over a comment sequence from last post, Why Do We Get Cords of Attachment, the VERY Best Part. Because Blog-Buddy Sabine asked a fascinating question that opens up connections between cutting cords of attachment, karma, pursuing Enlightenment and something I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned before, the Yuckiness Index.

Sabine’s question about karma, cord cutting, and Enlightenment

I am wondering what would happen if you cut all your main cords in one lifetime.

If you would be left with no karma in your relationships, would you come back again?

Or would past-life karma keep you stuck on the wheel of karma? Kind of blows my mind to think about that.

Well done, Sabine. Talk about fascinating!

    STUFF

Let’s be clear. I didn’t mean to imply that ALL of a person’s karma is moved out by cutting cords of attachment. A person can carry plenty of STUFF (stored emotional and/or spiritual garbage at the level of auras and the subconscious mind) that isn’t in cords of attachment, even after all one’s major and minor cords of attachment are released. Journaling when I cut cords of attachment, guest post by Grace W.

October 13th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    Cord Cutting Journal

Blog-Buddy GRACE W. has been busy. When you read the guest post below, here’s what she has left out.

Since she started doing sessions of Energy Spirituality years ago, GRACE’s life has improved enormously. That includes huge success with her career, plus even bigger personal transformation.

Here GRACE shares a superb idea for those of you who are busily cutting cords of attachment. Do note this tip for extra success:

In my how-to book, “Cut Cords of Attachment,” I distinguish between major and minor cords of attachment, helping you to figure out which is which. Then I recommend that you cut six minor cords of attachment before you tackle a major cord.

Actually it is far better to cut ALL your minor cords of attachment first. Then you will do a far better job when you cut your major cords of attachment.

Cutting your cords of attachment is not a race. Developing this healing art is about quality, right?

You only get one chance, ONE CHANCE, to cut any cord of attachment. Read More »

Arlene, the Groovy Psychiatrist, on Narcissists and More

September 25th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Yes, Blog-Buddies, here is the rest of my interview about the differences and similarities between Energy Spirituality and traditional methods of therapy, including psychiatry. Many thanks to Arlene, the Groovy Psychiatrist, and to the Blog-Buddy who volunteered to transcribe our interview.

For other posts in this series see:

    Are all narcissists the same?

Rose:  Greetings, Arlene! This is Rose Rosetree, and I want your perspective as a groovy psychiatrist about some very varied questions about the intersection of healing when the approach is psychiatry, when the approach is Energy Spirituality, or other mind-body-spirit approaches. Read More »

My Turning Point, Clearly Signed. A guest post by Scarlett Jade

September 16th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

I have something to say that ties into a couple of themes  that could be summarized as “Pain” and being “High.” For context, I am a former stoner of 20 years. For well over a year, I haven’t gotten high once — unless you count using techniques of energetic literacy for a natural high.

There is something to be said for the contrast of experience being high or not.

I mistakenly started out smoking believing that it was an honorable spiritual path. I also felt that it intensified experiences, and that quality in itself was a positive thing all around.

A subtext of feeling like I was taking something away from myself if I wasn’t high for things like being in the outdoors or being with people I loved –- because it would just shoot me to a place of revelry.

But there was this aspect that made me question the whole stoner lifestyle, Read More »

Psychopath-Inspired Quiz for Empaths and HSPs, ANSWERS 1-7

August 15th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Intermittent reinforcement, not just for behavioral psychologist B.F. Skinner

Since psychopaths amount to 1% of people in the world, there’s some consolation in considering that they exist to inspire their polar opposites, Highly Sensitive Persons. Who happen to outnumber them 20 to 1!

Born empaths are even more opposite-ey than Highly Sensitive Persons. A subset of HSPs, empaths have at least one lifelong gift for directly experiencing what it is like to be other people. Unskilled empaths suffer a lot, due to continually taking on STUFF belonging to others. Skilled empaths don’t suffer that way at all.

Unskilled empaths are LESS effective than non-empaths, psychopaths included. While skilled empaths are MORE effective than non-empaths.

As I aimed to show in our Psychopath-Inspired Quiz for Empaths, HSPs (and, especially, empaths) are way different from psychopaths. Before you read the answers, you might want to use that link just provided to take the quiz. (Although just to be clear, that’s only my suggestion. No way will I point a loaded salami at your face, smear you with sauerkraut, guilt trip you, or take other psychopath-type measures, intent on bending you to my will.)

    • If you are an empath or HSP, you’re likely to agree with many or most of the following answers.
    • Non-HSPs – the majority of humans after all — your responses to this Empath Quiz fascinate me. Be sure to comment below with your experiences.
    • Any psychopaths lurking here? You’re more likely to score the opposite in every single answer. As if you wanted to waste your time taking a quiz about self-knowledge. In a blog about personal growth, yet….
    • What about those of you Blog-Buddies who are actively involved in Energy Spirituality, the healing of STUFF stuck in emotions and spiritual life? You may consider the most fascinating aspect of our quiz answers the way that STUFF muddles up the responses of everyone but the psychopaths.

Think about it. STUFF helps psychopaths do their thing better. Read More »

Repetition compulsion and the tenderness factor

August 1st, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

What a long and fascinating conversation we’ve been having here about tenderness.  Loooooooooong ago, you may remember the quiz that resulted in our pursuing the tenderness theme: Empath Empowerment, Sophisticated Quiz Answers .

So far we have had separate posts on Disappointed by the lack of tenderness in your life? and More Ways to Improve the Tenderness Factor. Now let’s consider our final items on the 10-point Tenderness Seeker’s List.

    8. Avoid Repetition Compulsion

Now there’s a fancy term! As defined at Wikipedia, “Repetition compulsion is a psychological phenomenon in which a person repeats a traumatic event or its circumstances over and over again. This includes reenacting the event or putting oneself in situations where the event is likely to happen again.”

The connection to tenderness will become clear. Maybe amazingly clear, so keep reading.
