Blog-Buddies, let’s start off with the slightly embarrassing part, an announcement of small techno-goofs. (For contest winners, move down to the boldest headline below.)
Some of you have signed up for this blog as a SUBSCRIBER or CONTRIBUTOR. Well, last night I was cleaing things up, because thousands of contributors have mistakenly gotten onto the blog. Nobody is supposed to be a contributor except the blog administrator, me. You’all are invited to Guest Post whenever you like.
To Guest Post, send a long detailed comment on the topic of your choice. Or email me a long bit of writing on the topic of your choice. Send it to rose [at...] rose-rosetree.com. I’ll format it as your contribution if I find it appropriate. I love receiving that kind of contribution.
However nobody is invited to sign up as a contributor. This means you read drafts of future posts, plus every weird or nasty comment that people send in, even though as “Administrator” I disallow them from appearing on the official blog called “Deeper Perception Made Practical.”
Julian, my tech support guy for this blog, has been asked to remove the techno-ability for anyone to sign on as a contributor. Somehow this function was always switched on. Which is, apparently, very thrilling to potential spammers. Read More »

God is great! And that’s just the beginning of all of the praise you may have for the All in All.
Nonetheless, it’s possible to have a really disgusting, limiting cord of attachment to God.
This vileness doesn’t come from God directly, of course. It’s like what happens with so many other truly horrible cords of attachment. The degree of being horrible — what I call “Scoring 10 out of 10 points” on my Yuckiness Index for Cords of Attachment — is directly proportional to one’s degree of caring about the cordee.
When you’re strongly invested emotionally in a relationship, that’s like driving a car in fifth gear at 80 mph. You’ll respond bigger to bumps on the road.
Compared to what? Compared to a “No big deal” relationship. That would be more akin to driving a car in first gear at 2 mph. Same bump in road, smaller response. You can be quite sure that certain relationships involve major cords of attachment, even if you never think about the cordee usually. That would definitely include at least one form of God.
In the case of God, even an atheist will have a cord of attachment that’s a 10 on the Yuckiness Index. It can be rife with garbage deposited from other sources than God, of course. Same for a cord of attachment to Jesus, to Buddha, to Archangel Michael. Cord items recycle within us 24/7 until the last minutes of a lifetime. We can have horrible messed-up cords of attachment to Divine Beings. Which doesn’t hurt them but us.
For instance, I have had clients who decided to leave the Catholic church. This really, really upset their mothers… to such a degree that these mothers tried seriously hard to re-convert their kids. When this failed, the mothers had nervous breakdowns. For one such client, Joe, guilt from his mother’s emotional breakdown did become part of his cord of attachment to God. Without that bit of cord-cutting, Joe would have kept going through that guilt-ridden dance until the very last minute of his life.
Today, you may notice that the world has not ended – as predicted would happen just a couple of days ago, May 21, 2011. In celebration, I’m going to share with you the contents of two very different cords of attachment to God. As always, details about each client has been disguised. As usual, I first received permission from these courageous clients, both of whom are doing much, much better in life after releasing distorted old energies related to that very special relationship. Rose Rosetree, Teaching Energy Spirituality, not everything
In a recent comment, ASHLEY S. wrote, “Elaine, you continue to impress me with your level of detail. If I practice 10 minutes a day I might be as good as Elaine someday? Really?? Sounds too good to be true.”
I agree that ELAINE is doing great. Loads of you Blog-Buddies are! For success with Skilled Empath Merge, or any Aura Reading technique or Face Reading technique, here is my short list of suggestions:
- Ten minutes of practice a day. (Yes, ASHLEY, that sounds about right.)
- For any of you Blog-Buddies who drink alcohol, get stoned on weed, etc., never do any techniques for energetic literacy while under the influence.
- Equally important to avoid, do not pursue techniques for psychic development while you are studying any of my systems for energetic literacy. Choose one or the other. They do not mix well.
- Aim to be as good as yourself, not as good as ELAINE (wonderful though she is) or anyone else. Comparing oneself to others is never helpful for developing energetic literacy; nor is external validation.
- If you feel tempted to compare yourself, or feel you need external validation, use techniques that I have built into my trademarked systems for spiritual development. They will help you to calm down and trust yourself more, a life skill that I believe is essential along each person’s path to Enlightenment.
Warning to all you creative empaths, aura readers, etc. Read More »

Easter Sunday is a favorite holiday for many, including me. However, I’m not celebrating it in the way of many of my Bible-Belt neighbors.
Some of those neighbors here in Sterling, Virginia feel both grateful and relieved when Eastertide rolls around: Jesus died to take away my sins. That was the whole purpose, really.
One former neighbor across the street was clearly enthusiastic about this popular proposition. At Christmas, she put lights on her roof in the form of a very large cross. The meaning seemed clear: Forget about the cute babe in the manger. Get to the good part. That death on the cross. For us all. Hurry up already.
To me, the idea of having Jesus save everyone permanently is beyond ludicrous. To me, plenty of Christians unintentionally put Jesus in a role akin to the guy in the circus with the broom and dustpan. You know, the man in the circus dressed like a janitor, the humble fellow who follows elephants around, cleaning up all their poop.
No, I don’t believe that Jesus ever made such a deal with humanity. Nor is it possible that any Christian can make a magical agreement, such as “I am now officially Born Again,” and then act any old way, confident of being “saved” for all eternity. Actually, in my last book, Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy, I used deeper perception in order to explore the theory of being “Saved.” I systematically researched 50 grassroots Christian leaders, checking out their auric modeling regarding “Connection to Spiritial Source” and other chakra databanks. As you know, if you read that chapter, the findings were quite consistent. And not necessarily as expected. Read More »

Sometimes it’s useful for healers — and clients — to check out the empty spaces. What language doesn’t get said? In my case, as a healer and teacher, I’m very clear about five bits of language that I consider no-no’s for Energy Spirituality. In sharing these five terms with you, I’ll give you my reasons.
Will you agree with me? That’s what our COMMENT boxes below are for, to share opinions. Pro or con, what matters surely is that you engage with your full self-authority.
In writing today’s article, my goal isn’t forcing you to agree with me but rather to encourage you to think for yourself about five different terms often brought up by my first-time clients. Could terms like these be blocking your progress?
Term Avoided in Energy Spirituality #1: Clearing
In New Age circles, it’s very common to hear practitioners or clients talk about “Clearing.” Not as in that fine tree-less picnic spot deep within Sherwood Forest but as in, “In my session, I got a clearing.” Read More »

What really blocks, or attracts, prosperity
Let’s complete this two-part series about prosperity and Law of Attraction. Is it really possible that “fear of success” is limiting your income?
The how-to book on Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy was based on a great deal of research at the level of auras, showing something quite shocking from a LOA perspective. Belief doesn’t have nearly as much to do with attracting success as “The Secret” would have us believe. Except that repeated use of beliefs will have consequences, and the main consequences of LOA practices is to bring on a spiritual addiction.
Spiritual addiction makes a person less effective than otherwise at making money. Ironic, isn’t it?
Unfortunately, the deeper a person goes into spiritual addiction, the harder that person finds making contact with reality. Given limited results, the person is likely to keep trying harder in the same direction.
Sure, all humans attract spiritually. We attract through the truth of our “who-you-be,” which means the size and quality of hundreds of chakra databanks. Yesterday I described a Before Picture with my client Audrey, who was attracting just about what you would expect for her career… given what was happening at the level of her auric modeling.
Depressing though this cycle of spiritual addiction is, of course a person can overcome it. Personally I have helped hundreds to do exactly that. One big help is to cut any cords of attachment that keep a person recycling unproductive old Read More »

Helping you to become a skilled empath
Overwhelmed, anyone? Recently “Loretta” requested help to prioritize the various skill sets taught through this blog, my how-to books, workshops, etc. Her email went like this:
I was initially interested in your book Cut Cords of Attachment, but in looking at your website, I’m pretty sure I’m an (unskilled) empath. I ended up buying both books, Cut Cords of Attachment and Become the Most Important Person in the Room at the same time.
Which set of skills should I pursue mastering first? Can I start cutting my own cords before completing the 30-day empath training program discussed in Become the Most Important Person in the Room? Do I have to have skill with my empath gifts to be able to read my aura or do I use some other sense?
For best results, don’t play “Eeny Meeny Miney Moe.” Not with the trademarked systems I have worked so hard to develop. Thank you, Loretta, for asking. Here are some ideas to consider. Read More »

Congratulations to Gladys. She is a gracious new client who recently had a first session with me.
Gladys was a really good sport, considering that when our session began she didn’t know that she might have to be any kind of sport. I dedicate today’s post to her… and to all you Blog-Buddies who are learning about Energy Spirituality, cutting cords of attachment, etc. and don’t know everything yet.
That category would apply to me, too. However, I have learned some things after devoting decades of professional work to long-term, permanent healing of STUFF. So here’s what I’d like to share with you today….
Aura healing consumers, reconsider The Delicatessen Model

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone. I was thinking about giving you’all some sweet thing, and then started remember how one of my clients, “Joe,” once asked a poignant question. Was it possible, he wondered, to cut a cord of attachment to an addiction? That got me thinking.
Sure, this is a holiday devoted to sweetness and light. But what happens the day after? What happens for some people, even, at 3 a.m. that very night? Emotional pain might be even hidden from outward view during that same Valentine’s Day.
Every person on this earth struggles — short of Enlightenment anyway. And of all the struggles that can leave a person feeling terribly alone, any day of the year, isn’t addiction among the worst?
The addiction could be to overeating or sex. It could be to weed or beer. It could be an “addiction” to romantic relationships that always end badly, with not-that-great middles either, and a terrible sameness of pattern through and through.
So I decided today that, in honor of Valentine’s Day, I’d take you inside a cord of attachment from one of my wonderful clients who has overcome a substance challenge. “Gladys” has had Read More »

Mr. Enlightenment returns, never better
Mr. Enlightenment is back. His work is not yet complete, at least if you define it as helping all of us to join him in All-Time-Samadhi-Land.
In fact, by Mr. Enlightenment’s standard, his work isn’t complete even if he defines it merely as answering questions we Blog-Buddies posed to him during our Bloggy Enlightenment Contest, back in the last decade. (Okay, just a couple of months ago.)
Consider today’s post a supplement to our earlier “Mr. Enlightenment Interview” . That Mr. Enlightenment (a.k.a. Jeffrey Chappell) is one very generous man, volunteering to take the remainder of the questions Read More »
