Ratan Tata. I first heard about him during a class report and was kind of fascinated when a picture of him was shown. He reminds me of a tiger.

He started from the bottom and seems to have a knack for turning companies around. Some of his earlier (successful) efforts were largely thwarted and offset by external events but he went on to head the Tata Group of companies which have made big acquisitions such as Tetly, Jaguar Land Rover and Corus. I’m really curious how he (and people like him) does it.

Family of Choice, How to Find It and Keep It

Sometimes a Blog-Buddy goes through a personal kind of pain that is more than personal. Unwittingly, he or she is speaking for many of you Blog-Buddies. Yesterday I was having an email conversation like this with VERONICA. She graciously allowed me to share what she wrote:

Despite my efforts to create a loving, supportive, caring, fun Family of Choice here, it has not yet arrived to greet me around the Christmas tree. I am having quite a hard time not feeling like such a loser. For real. There really are moments of “what is the point of all of this if still I feel so alone??”

Aarghh….I know, not the most mature or enlightened or whatever, but this feels very, very human.

Wondering if you have run into this kind of timing and phenomenon. I suppose the longing for that family-of-choice, the intensity now, is actually a good thing.

LOA Teachers, Profiles of Spiritual Addiction, Final Installment

This post concludes some research I did for writing the how-to book “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.” It can seem beautiful, what is taught as The Law of Attraction and The Secret, whether taught by Abraham-Hicks or Rhonda Byrne.

When you’re traveling on your spiritual path, where is it wise to seek results? Not with the promises but deep within your auric field, in your chakra databanks, and then checking out what happens in objective reality.

Of course you can develop Stage Three Energetic Literacy, researching any one you like at the level of chakra databanks. Otherwise, you can find a professional at aura reading and learn about your own auric field.  Never worry, because STUFF can always, always, always be healed. Even a spiritual addiction can be overcome, often within a couple of weeks.

Face reading a quirky smile style

How could I resist? Today, doing the latest research for our Enlightenment Life List (Comments 666 and 668), I opened up the fascinating photo at the start of today’s post, sent by Valentino Lee. The smile belongs to Bruce Frantzis, someone I profiled with chakra databanks with my usual aura reading survey. I found him close to Enlightenment but not there yet.

And I couldn’t resist devoting a separate post to the quirky bit of face reading data that shows in his smile. Because it speaks to a common inner conflict, regardless of smile style. Aura Reading of Michele Bachmann

Strangely Michele Bachmann is now considered a serious candidate for president of the United States. Apparently that is different from being a contender for my personal admiration. Politically I couldn’t disagree with her more. When I read auras, however, all that is flung by the wayside. Instead I use the very same techniques that you Blog-Buddies are invited to use.

Using any technique of energetic literacy, the process of reading auras is different from doing any aura reading technique learned as part of psychic development. Aura Reading of Dominique Strauss-Kahn

What, am I going to post an aura reading of somebody that weird and wicked?

No. Yes. No. I have gone back and forth.

The Washington Post decided me. My once proud newspaper has been suffering from an identity crisis. It doesn’t know whether to try for being the New York Times or the trashy New York Post. Witness a front page story in the Style section, July 4, about Dominique Strauss-Kahn. This gossipy piece reported how other media react to the latest turn in the scandal, presumably so the Post could help readers leer without seeming to leer.

Yes, I will read Strauss-Kahn. Not because I usually follow scandals. (I prefer to follow life, and people who do their best to make life better.)

But as some of you Blog-Buddies know, I believe in auric modeling – that consequences of how we live always show in an aura. The changes show in chakra databanks. Long-term, big patterns also out-picture in visible changes to the physical face, easy for face readers to notice by means of comparison photograph.

Energetic literacy to speed our path toward Enlightenment

One aspect I’ve enjoyed about our Enlightenment Life List people is not only the new understanding of Enlightenment that I’ve developed, but seeing that there are Enlightened folks in the arts, business, philanthropy and even the soon-to-be-revealed politician.

I particularly enjoy seeing how these people go about sharing their talents in the world and seeing the spiritual connection that they have and that they don’t, to my knowledge, speak about directly in public.

I’ve realized that one reason of many that I was so delighted by the documentary I mentioned about Bill Cunningham in the Enlightenment thread is that he has carved out such a fascinating, joyful, productive,and creative life while maintaining a sense of integrity. In places where that can be particularly challenging (as he states in the film) – in New York, and I’d add, in the world of fashion.

I was inspired to “meet” someone who keeps the focus on his passion for seeking beauty, for celebrating it and for not being swept up in all the meanness and nonsense that are part of that world. Read More »

Virtual Reincarnation, a Practical Definition

Some of you have already experienced Virtual Reincarnation.

Others have experienced it but, lacking the concept, never gave yourself credit.

Still others may be tempted to try really hard when you read today’s post, trying to squoosh or mash or otherwise wrangle a way to force your past experiences into this concept.

No need. Virtual Reincarnation is not the purpose of life. Nor is this some new kind of exclusive club to which all New Agers need aspire. Virtual Reincarnation is merely something that happens sometimes, as part of a person’s spiritual evolution. Plenty of other things can happen that are just as good.

Survival struggle compared toVirtual Reincarnation

Life on earth often includes big struggles, emotionally or physically or materially or socially. (As if you needed me to tell you that!)

Richard Burton was a grownup, at least at the time he first married Elizabeth Taylor.  Hollywood legend has it, they met on the set of “Cleopatra.” Much was made of the gorgeousness of Ms. Taylor, starring in the title role of “Elizabeth Taylor.” Oops, I mean the African ruler, Cleo-something.

Sure, Elizabeth looked like a cutie. Here’s her super-famous photo from the film, golden dreadlocks and all. You have to admit that eye makeup, and all the rest of Elizabeth, looked absolutely fab. Certainly knowing she looked so good could have helped her survive a screen role where she had to speak out lines like this: 

“How DARE you and the rest of your barbarians set fire to my library!? Play conqueror all you want, Mighty Caesar! Rape, murder, pillage thousands, even millions of human beings! But neither you nor any other barbarian has the right to destroy one human thought!”

Meanwhile, Richard Burton was also trying to carry the heavy weight of the big-budget movie that, ultimately, flopped like a large fake whale beached in the deserts of Egypt. Below is Burton’s half of the matched photo set from “Cleopatra.” Richard Burton, yum! Sure enough, they were married. And why not? Finally Taylor found somebody who also had extremely vivid blue eyes! Oh, I’m sorry not to be taking both of these stars seriously here.
