You know, doing a workshop is a bit like doing a phoner radio interview. Except that for the former I would never wear pyjamas. Either type of conversation, you talk and give your best. Long-term, you don’t know how all that giving is being received.

About learning to do Thrill Your Soul Research

I decided to go to Rose’s Goal Setting Workshop last year on a whim. I’m fortunate enough to live in the area, and I was struggling with some decisions and realized I could get a couple of personal sessions or just go and learn it for myself, which would take more work but might last longer.

The first day, we wasted no time diving into the techniques for reading chakra databanks, discovering the kinds of information we can find there, and figuring out what thrilled our souls.

It was overwhelming and I didn’t entirely trust I was really reading auras and not just making stuff up, though the group of people was just fantastic and it was exciting to begin to see (or, in my case, hear) flashes of things that seemed to be more than me imagining things.

The second day was incredible. Just amazing.

Rose did Soul Thrill Research Sessions with individual people while we all watched. I can’t explain why this was so powerful, but I learned as much watching someone else wrestle with choices and the information Rose gave them as I did when it was me up there.

I did, in the end, decide to do a session myself. [During the Sunday workshop, eight participants can choose to receive a Soul Thrill Research given by me, with all the rest of the participants cheering her or him on. There is a nominal additional fee, with reservations for those eight Hot Seat Spots generally decided in advance.]

I was horribly nervous but ended up being glad the group was watching me. I tend to be hard on myself, but having supportive witnesses kept my head on straight as I heard the true effect of my “good” ideas play out in my aura.

• Something I found helpful going into the research was to have a bigger list than I thought I needed of things to research.

We actually ran out of research items during my session.

• It was also helpful to have different “weights” of ideas. That’s useful because sometimes really small changes can have a big effect.

Personally I learned I didn’t have to quit my job and move house. If I just started playing the guitar and getting out of my house every so often, it would really change things.

• Along those lines, having different kinds of things to research seemed to help me and a lot of others.

Hobbies, professions, people, classes, food….it can all be researched.

Chewing on choices

The other thing that Rose emphasized, and I really had to chew on, was that these are choices.

There will be choices that seem a lot better than others and some really bad choices, but each has its pluses and minuses.

There’s no golden path waiting if only we paid attention. Or if there is, the brown path over there might work just as well, if not better. We are free to choose.

Using what I learned in the Thrill Your Soul Workshop

Since then, I’ve used the techniques I’ve learned in order to research choices in my own aura every few weeks. Some months I do it more often than others, depending on what is going on in my life.

I’ve been grateful for the different ways I learned to read my aura. As Rose constantly says, it’s so not about colors.

I interact with the world mostly through my ears, and reading auras is no different, but I am now comfortable using several different techniques.

This Aura Reading Research has just become something I do every so often, like checking in with my goals or calling home or balancing my checkbook. It’s in the fabric of my life now, and I never really stopped to consider how important it is.

One year later, my life looks entirely different. And it has been completely shaped by these quick weekend questioning sessions.

I moved into a new apartment after researching each place (and the option of staying where I was.)

There really was no right and wrong choice. Apartment hunting, I found some places had an effect on my finances, and some had an effect on my soul or my health.

And deciding what I valued most was up to me.

I also noticed that some chakra databanks I studied didn’t change no matter where I live, which was instructive. I ended up in a fantastic little house with fantastic people. Financially, as I figured, it is a stretch but it’s one I’m happy to make in light of the other advantages.

I am also beginning to look for a new job, which I haven’t done before this since this is the first time that choice makes me happier than staying where I work now. (That shocked me during the workshop.)

Surprise!

Sometimes I am still surprised by what I find out. There was one position I was sure was going to be great, but my research said very differently.

That being said, no matter what I take away from the research, I’m never really surprised.

At the back of my mind (Or subconsciously. Or in my heart. Or whatever metaphor makes sense), I really did know that a certain idea was going to be a disaster, but I really just wasn’t listening. I listen now.

Most of the time, however, it’s not big life changes I explore but what projects I work on, how I spend my free time, how I make changes.

Again, I don’t feel like I’m chained researching every choice or I can’t make a decision until I research it. Doing Thrill Your Soul Research has not become an excuse for avoiding due diligence or the need to take action and just make a decision.

In my job search, I’m still networking and researching and applying. The Aura Reading Research is not a shortcut, by any means, but another tool I check in with to make sure I’m not shooting myself in the foot, like I’m prone to. That research makes it harder for me to lie to myself and easier for me to pick things I really want to do.

The end result is that here I am a year later and almost everything is different, day to day and choice to choice. The major difference, of course, is that I am much, much happier.

I also can’t help bringing up that if I had gone to Rose to research all of this for me in phone sessions of Aura Reading Research, it would have cost 10 times what the weekend workshop did.

Not that I don’t still love sessions with her – and, in fact, I have had a couple of mentoring sessions since then just to go over things and make sure I haven’t been twisting up the techniques – but I am so grateful I can do it myself. It’s the old story of the fisherman giving you a fish or teaching you to do it.

If you’re on the fence, I would definitely consider how useful it is to gain a skill and not just the information Rose can tell you. It has changed my life completely (in very small, quiet steps.) I will definitely be heading to more workshops this year.

Jozef Dominguez, #129 on our Enlightenment Life List

Empowerment Coach Jozef Dominguez is a new addition to our Enlightenment Life List. Although I have known him for years, it only recently occurred to me to research the man. Am I ever glad I did! Because within the group of Enlightened auras I have researched, he has one of the most interesting ways of radiating Enlightenment I have ever encountered.

Of course I’m going to treat us all to a detailed Skilled Empath Merge. I’ll use the ”Magic Picture” technique from “Become The Most Important Person in the Room.” It would also be fun to use the ”Darshan” technique from “Empowered by Empathy.”

Jozef Dominguez has an aura you’re definitely invited to check out, through any technique of energetic literacy or psychic development you fancy. You will not find an unpleasant surprise.

The one exception: As usual, I want to caution all you talented empaths that, until you have developed a good level of skill, it is better not to do any techniques for Skilled Empath Merge. Better to just read along, for now. (Which is why the techniques for Skilled Empath Merge come at the end of  each of my two how to’s for empaths, “Become the Most Important Person in the Room” and “Empowered by Empathy.”)

Root Chakra Aura Reading Databank: Connecting to Objective Reality

Jozef lives everyday human life in a big reality, dominated by service.

That would be his service projects, how he can help humanity.

Also, like every chakra databank belonging to every Enlightened person, the sense of personal self has stretched to form an identity that is twinklingly, confortably, awesomely infused with the Divine.

Admittedly, my basis for writing this a fairly limited research sample. Alas, I haven’t read every chakra databank belonging to every Enlightened person on the Enlightenment Life List. I have merely experienced plenty of samples, either doing a Skilled Empath Merge or reading auras with Stage Three Energetic Literacy.

Most fascinating to me about Empowerment Coach Jozef Dominguez is the accordion-like quality of expansion.

Mostly Jozef lives as an embodiment of the Divine in human form. However, he has an exceptionally full and complete ability to function at any astral level he chooses — complete with perception, boldness, calm certitude of prevailing over any difficulties, knowing that he has appropriate skills.

Regarding some of the facts I know about his life, Jozef has indeed spent significant effort in this incarnation (and previous lifetimes) on a project that could be called “Developing shamanic-style skill sets.” Yet he hasn’t lost himself in The Romance of the Astral.

That’s a very significant point. As I have noted elsewhere, spiritual development and development of energetic literacy happen at a different frequency from psychic development. Very few practitioners succeed in combining the two. (This pratitioner, for instance, doesn’t even try.)

Psychic development is by far the more popular path within New Age. And the results can be glorious.

However, a potential problem with some psychic development teachings can be getting stuck in what I call “The Romance of the Astral,” which then becomes a destination of its own. If you have followed the comments and nominations at this blog’s most popular post, the Enlightenment Life List, you’re aware of who has been nominated without being placed onto that list.

• So far, at least, the professions of folks on the Enlightenment Life List have been varied, including meditation practitioners, healers, astrologers, actors, singers.
• However, so far nobody from the following psychic development paths has made the Enlightenment Life List: Psychics, angel specialists, channelers, mediums.  “The Romance of the Astral” may have a great deal to do with this.

Mr. Dominguez is among the most versatile healers and teachers I have met. He is clearly an accomplished healer at astral levels as well as being a facilitator of powerful spiritual development. It is so cute how mostly all that prowess is folded up, like an accordion being well squeezed.

Belly Chakra Aura Reading Databank: Spontaneity

Such a roaring OM of laughter! When you live within eternity, it’s pretty hard NOT to act spontaneously.

In an extremely purposeful way, Jozef brings full attention to whatever he’s doing, then plays in a childlike way – while still employing his very adult, sophisticated skills.

What about the previously mentioned, accordion-like, mastery of the full range of reality? Well, Jozef simply picks one. Then he plays at that level, within the moment, having the time of his life.

No STUFF, simply flow.

Spontaneous Right Action — Small Interlude

I remember how my former, late, ex-guru, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi used to talk about “Spontaneous right action” as one of the features of Enlightenment.

Jozef does that particularly well. Like two other people I know from the Enlightenment Life List, mega-molecular-empath and healer Tantra Maat; and the master healer and teacher Bill Bauman, Ph.D. — not, incidentally, to be confused with a different Bill Bauman, no Ph.D.,  who has his own, very different practice — both Jozef and Tantra and Bill are soooooooooooo spontaneous in their personalities.

Have you ever taken Myers-Briggs personality test? Then you know that the fourth of the four variables is either P or J.

In terms of personality, Jozef and Bill and Tantra are extreme Ps. Their human personalities are especially well adapted to flowing.

(By contrast, I’m an extreme J, very structured. Helps me write books and create systems for learning, but when I give workshops I ask participants to raise their hands before blurting out questions, etc.)

Back at Jozef’s particular brand of spontaneity, he has a fearless honesty, a childlike delight about asking whatever he wonders.

Incidentally, like Bill Bauman and Tantra Maat (and okay, me), Jozef is a molecular empath. Sure adds oomph to this spontaneity of his.

Solar Plexus Chakra Aura Reading Databank: Understanding Spiritual and Psychic Levels of Life

You may know, Blog-Buddies, as experienced aura readers and skilled empaths, one of the most enjoyable things about researching chakra databanks is the variety:

• Half of a person’s chakra databanks are standard issue, human, universal.
• The other half of a person’s hundreds of chakra databanks are exquisitely designed, appropriate for that person’s lifestyle at that given time.

It stands to reason that someone with Jozef’s long-time service, as a healer and teacher and coach, would have developed some rather spectacular, specialized chakra databanks. This is expecially true given his fascinating positioning, where there is mastery of spiritual connection but also history (over multiple lifetimes) of gaining technical skills on various psychic dimensions.

That accordion-like ability is very much in evidence at this chakra databank of Jozef’s.

He understands the very human terms and experiences; the sensual experiences and consequences of all kinds resulting from problems at different vibratory frequencies. You could call Jozef ”A superb diagnostician at any astral level.”

Remarkably, though, even the finest fabric of Jozef’s system do not show any “clog” related to astral-type stickiness — which often is an unintended consequence of psychic development or certain exhaustively thorough forms of spiritual development (such as Shamanic healing or Tibetan Buddhism).

Instead Jozef Dominguez goes in, grabs the knowledge, skips out and returns to funny old human reality. In short, he understands what’s happening in human language, which prepares him to communicate deftly. This personal style is the opposite of big-ego style or pretentiousness.

Basically, it’s simple for Jozef, describing the results of his healing and/or coaching. Very practical!

Understandings received through chakra databanks out of the Third Eye Chakra are, of course, qualitatively different from chakra datanks like the one just read, coming out of the Solar Plexus Chakra.

So what’s the deal with the Third Eye Chakra healing energetics? Quick in and out, fix and leave — that’s Jozef’s style.

He knows just which layer of where to target, bringing a great deal of technical know-how.

This differs from being a kind of academic, or cataloguer of theoretical concepts. Instead Jozef spontaneously brings a great deal of concentrated power, suitable for the work he is doing.

Spiritual frequencies of life are qualitatively different from astral frequencies (a topic described as thoroughly as I could do, at this time, in the upcoming how-to “Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection”).

So what shows up in this Jozef Dominguez chakra databank related to spiritual healing? His identification with the Divine is enough to knock your socks off.

If you are wearing socks, of course.

Just to be practical, let’s include this treat.

Huge size to the integrity chakra databank, let’s note that for starters. Then bask in the impeccable clarity, directness, and purity — qualities like these characterize Jozef’s communication standing regarding integrity.

A great deal of compassion and gentleness shape Jozef’s speech as well, preventing his molecular-empath-style insights from seeming as scary as might otherwise happen.

Researching such a chakra databank is a bit far out for me, Blog-Buddies. Such a chakra databank isn’t just outside my usual scope of research. Frankly, I consciously know nothing about this topic intellectually.

You heard it here. On December 5, 2011, Rose Rosetree doesn’t know from higher dimensions. She is doing the best she can with 3-D plus time. In fact, Rose is very pleased with herself today, because she got all her dead watch batteries fixed and now has five, five!, working watches.

Regardless of my personal comfort zone, this chakra databank has pulled my attention. So away I’ll go, and dutifully report back to you’all.

It does seem to me that Jozef is living in some other dimension at the same time as the one in this photo. How this plays out must be a treat for him!

Since I don’t know anything, personally, about this bigger/higher/non-earthly dimension, I can’t describe it by naming it. But you know me, Blog-Buddies, not to generally be at a loss for words. So I’ll put the experience like this:

At this chakra databank, Jozef enjoys a quality of custodian-hood, a non-human kind of intelligence that is older, bigger, without any kind of human emotion or human selfhood. Instead, there is a sort of overlighting intelligence in which Jozef participates. It is one of several kindred overlighting intelligences. Maybe they are similar to his; which is how it seems to me, when taking my quick energetic ride.

What matters about this overlighting faculty is that individual human people really do matter to Coach Jozef, just not in the usual human ways. We are walking-vibrating-twinkling intelligences. Some of us share certain qualities that position us in a vibration where Jozef can help. That’s all.

It’s a pretty large group, actually.

Now, that’s my idea of a party.

Enthusiastic but inconclusive conclusion

Not too many Skilled Empath Merges leave me this speechless.

Although admittedly vague right now, I can think of a fun follow-up.

How could I resist? Today, doing the latest research for our Enlightenment Life List (Comments 666 and 668), I opened up the fascinating photo at the start of today’s post, sent by Valentino Lee. The smile belongs to Bruce Frantzis, someone I profiled with chakra databanks with my usual aura reading survey. I found him close to Enlightenment but not there yet.

And I couldn’t resist devoting a separate post to the quirky bit of face reading data that shows in his smile. Because it speaks to a common inner conflict, regardless of smile style. It is a conflict that I believe each of us must resolve on the path to Enlightenment. . To see that smile clearly, you’ll need a better image than the dependable one fitting into this blog image:

Bruce Frantzis is only the second person I have seen with such a smile. The other is…

Teresa Heinz Kerry, who smiled that way back during the presidential campaign of 2004. Unfortunately I just spent a ridiculously long amount of time attempting find a photo from that era, displaying that very unusual style of smiling. To no avail.

Saved at Google images and Wikipedia are waaaaay “more important” photos, like the one where she and Laura Bush were both wearing white dresses, or the usual really creepy nasty photo creations that seem, supposedly, really important to inflict on any female celebrity of any kind. Ugh! Anyway, Bruce shows a really clear example of this highly unusual style of smile.

Face readers, just in case you ever encounter it, here’s an odd bit of physiognomy lore.

When the upper lip covers the front teeth…

Now that’s an unusual way to smile. The meaning is hiding personal ego, even while extending yourself socially.

Sort of like opening the front door of your home to welcome a stranger, while shoving a large chair into most of the open space, just to make sure that no stranger ever really enters.

You may know, my system of Face Reading Secrets(R) is based on connecting physical face reading data to a gift of the soul.

The gift here is that person IS able to put himself or herself forward socially. And this is a big deal for the person, given how there could be crippling inner resistance, under the very particular circumstances for that individual.

The potential challenge is sending life a mixed message, plus doing a workaround that isn’t especially constructive long term. (And those of you who know about auric modeling can be sure that everybody subconsciously notes that mixed message, even if the aura reading is done in the usual way, without skill net, nor with conscious clarity.)

Aura reading is my favorite supplement to physiognomy puzzles

Why is that particular person doing that particular smile style? Which inner conflict is being revealed?

By using skills of energetic literacy, especially doing aura reading in enough detail to research chakra databanks, it can be so fascinating to follow up on a quirky, rare, or puzzling item of face reading data.

I remember doing this with John Kerry’s wife, back when he was working so hard to become president. Ms. Heinz’ smile was related to her ambivalence about putting herself in the glaring, blaring, sneering Candidate Spotlight.

Her smile, and corresponding inward stance, was the best workaround Teresa Heinz Kerry could fashion at the time in order to support her husband, the politician.

With Bruce Frantzis, seems to me, the conflict involves how to position himself about the big, big, big lifestyle question for so many on earth today.

To seek Enlightenment, must I become a renunciate?

Or might I live as a householder?

That studly, earthy Bruce Frantzis has householder written all over his aura. Except for those chakra databanks riddled with conflict (at the time of his photograph).

Maybe he was taught that spiritual enlightenment, or attaining excellence as a spiritual teacher, required that he live as a celibate, poor, otherworldly monk or priest.

Not now, Blog-Buddies. Millions of souls are seeking Enlightenment now as householders.

Until we become clear without ourselves which lifestyle we choose, we simply cannot attain Enlightenment.

Straight or gay or bi; householder or reunciate; religiously observant or involved in disorganized religion – certain core life choices are non-negotiable. Although you can fudge the social presentation, your soul won’t be fooled, candied, pickled, or otherwise changed.

A soul is wired its own way around such deep inclinations. The sooner each of us accepts our personal who-you-be, the better.

Rick Perry, not believing in LOA but Dominionism

Such a continuing education in aura reading, energetic literacy, and spiritual addiction! Not to mention Law of Attraction. And, by the end of today’s post, Dominionism.

Can you get a sense from each of these aura reading profiles that each person is unique? That each person has at least one special reason for following a spiritual path to Enlightenment… or Salvation… a path full of promises that paying less attention to objective life, more attention to perfecting oneself inwardly, will result in more material success

In reality, getting the spiritual part of a person’s life right doesn’t necessarily mean one will get human problems resolved. Not unless the person has an addiction (including a spiritual addiction) or belongs to a cult.

Speaking of which, have you heard of this doozy of a cult?

Hello, Dominionism

What do Rick Perry and Michele Bachman have in common as presidential candidates? Like Sarah Palin, they are tied to a strong belief system called “Dominionism.”

According to an article in ”The Daily Beast,”:   Dominionism means that Christians have a God-given right to rule all earthly institutions. Originating among some of America’s most radical theocrats, it’s long had an influence on religious-right education and political organizing. But because it seems so outré, getting ordinary people to take it seriously can be difficult.

Blog-Buddies, I first learned about Dominionism by listening to an interview conducted by Terry Gross on “Fresh Air” with Rachel Tabachnick, who researches the political impact of the religious right. According to Tabachnick:

“The [Dominionism] apostles teach what’s called ‘strategic level spiritual warfare’ [because they believe that the] reason why there is sin and corruption and poverty on the Earth is because the Earth is controlled by a hierarchy of demons under the authority of Satan. So they teach not just evangelizing souls one by one, as we’re accustomed to hearing about. They teach that they will go into a geographic region or a people group and conduct spiritual-warfare activities in order to remove the demons from the entire population. This is what they’re doing that’s quite fundamentally different than other evangelical groups.” 

From what I have gathered doing a smallish bit of research into Dominionism, the core idea is that when all the “spiritual” goals have been achieved, such as “converting all homosexuals,” Jesus will come and instantly fix all problems on earth, such as illness, poverty, etc.

Dominionism has nothing to do with Law of Attraction

Except, whoa! Each belief system keeps people passionately motivated. And waaaay oversubjective.

Members of either group believe that, if they only perfect life subjectively (spiritually, theologically, etc.) automatically problems in objective life will become totally fixed.

Dominionism doesn’t lead to a spiritual addiction — as you can easily extrapolate if you read the chapter about research on Evangelical Christians, also summarized in “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.”

But that adamant belief that subjective purity will fix all human problems — it’s worth noticing.

One reason I teach Energetic Literacy, Blog-Buddies, is so that you can investigate the not-so-pretty aura-level consequences of pretty beliefs.

Yoicks! A rather large lack of comment has resulted from our last post. Even at this active community of Blog-Buddies!

Do you realize? After five years, Deeper Perception Made Practical has included 952 posts and 8,544 comments. (10,208 if you counted all the spam, which I would rather not.) Some of my posts have been clunkers, and I’m glad to let them go. But not this one.

From a recent conversation, I’m wondering if some of you consider it distasteful to view the range of ways that people can develop spiritual addiction through Law of Attraction teachings. Today I’ll boldly plunge into controversial surf and address some of the reactions to Magnetize Money Profiles, LOA Teachers, Part 1 and comparable posts.

Because the type of profile you’re offered could turn out to be really, really helpful along your path to Enlightenment.

“If you’ve seen one redwood,  you’ve seen them all.”

This quote, attributed to The Gipper, summarized his lack of interest in trees. Do you feel that way about redwoods?

How about the auras of people who have developed a spiritual addiction from following LOA and The Secret?

When reading through the details of a Magnetize Money Profile, it doesn’t have to seem like “same old, same old.” Using your Gutenberg literacy to read about one chakra databank after another, you’re doing a quick version of using energetic literacy techniques for aura reading.

Essentially, receiving all this data means you’re being fast-tracked into more experience with reading auras. Via those brief Magnetize Money Profiles,  I’m sharing with you the kind of experience gathered by doing thousands upon thousands of hours doing personal sessions of Energy Spirituality, helping one person after another; plus many more hours reading auras of people in the news.

At first, maybe all trees or birds or faces or miracles seem identical. According to this assumption, once you get the general idea, it seems silly to keep on checking out more specifics.

However God’s presence sparkles in those details. Knowledge becomes cumulative. After some initial reading, details begin to become fascinating. Then those details can educate you in an extra-deep way.

Want an example of learning a lot from apparently minor details? President Reagan (pictured at the top of this post) has many fine quotes to his credit. Although I don’t like his dismissal of redwoods, I like this one: Reagan said, “You can tell a lot about a fellow’s character by his way of eating jelly beans.”

Which suggests that that Ronald Reagan was more willing to notice emotional intelligence via candy than particulars of nature… any kind of natural object, however magnificent. 

With no photos, who cares about these people?

Back in school, maybe you studied some patterns in psychology or history or language or literature. Often we’re taught in terms of a particular person, like metaphysical poet John Donne, and then George Herbert, Andrew Marvell, and Thomas Traherne.

Each of these metaphysical poets can get you on a reading roll that deepens your experience of an amazing kind of poetry.

Reading through the Magnetize Money Profile for each of the teachers presented can steep you in the people and then the patterns.

I wish you could have photos to see, accompanying each of these short profiles. But I weighed the ethics of showing photographs under these circumstances. Aura reading in public is really for public figures only. These folks are barely public figures.

Plus, of course, the news isn’t good. If any of these people were clients, I would do more than share a Magnetize Money Profile. I’d telling them loads of good info. about their gifts of the soul, maybe bring in a Healing Centerpiece to a session of Aura Healing. Then I would gently advise them about how to get over the spiritual addiction.

What’s different for your learning about these folks? Every one of the 50 people in this aura reading sample can be read by you as a cautionary tale.

It would be a pile-on to show their photographs, seemed to me.

Do you need pictures to feel interested in an aura reading?

We’re used to seeing pictures today, helping us to focus on the particular “personality” being gossiped about, whether on Facebook or celebrity websites or elsewhere. Since this isn’t gossip, it seems reasonable to not have pictures.

Here’s a substitute for the immediacy of a nice color picture:

If you read a Magnetize Money Profile at your regular, fast, reading pace, hey! You might want to stop afterwards and think about the human implications.

How would it feel to you if you something like this was happening to YOU 24/7 at a subconscious level? (The subconscious mind corresponds to the level where chakra databanks are, mostly, read.)

Judging or discernment?

“I don’t want to feel superior,” Joe told me. “I only want to be responsible for my own spiritual evolution, my own path to Enlightenment.”

He has a good point. Okay, two of them. Plus Joe added, “I don’t want to compare myself to anyone.”

Definitely three good points. And plenty of other folks would add, “It’s icky, reading about these LOA teachers. It’s soooooooooooo judgmental.”

Well, let’s consider (calmly) whether learning about the consequences of a spiritual path really counts as being judgmental or comparing oneself to others, etc.

Ever read Consumer Reports Magazine? How about checking Angie’s List? We live in an Age of Consumerism. Considering value is not a bad thing, even if all you’re doing is buying a toaster.

Self-authority helps us make many of our smartest decisions. We get a bunch of facts, weigh them against the claims being made, and then use common sense to make choices. !Muy importante!

Where does this become tricky? Any spiritual path or spiritual teacher affects you mostly on the inner. As a consumer, how can you learn about consequences on the level of auras? Whether ignored or not by your conscious mind, every one of these inner consequences will out-picture into real-life consequences.

And if you don’t think that prosperity teachings like Law of Attraction/Abraham-Hicks/The Secret are a spiritual path, you might want to redefine what “spiritual path” means to you.

Even success teachings can become a spiritual path. Recommended reading: The Protestant Ethic and Spirit of Capitalism by Max Weber.

Self-authority on spiritual practices without energetic  literacy is foolish. One can be trapped by the idealistic beauty of a teaching. Using self-authority about ideals only is not being a smart consumer. Learn to evaluate aura-level consequences, Blog-Buddies. Get that kind of consumer information and then use your self-authority on evaluating those findings.

Upgrade your consumer skills, and not only concerning the Law of Attraction.

Yes, I suppose I do have an axe to grind about LOA

Right in the ”Dedication” to “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy,” I admitted it:

I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by

madness, starving hysterical naked,

dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn

looking for an angry fix

Okay, that’s actually “Howl” by Allen Ginsberg. My version, basically, is that I have seen some of the sweetest hearts and most dedicated spirits of my generation financially destroyed. Or at least set back.

Why? Because they tried really, really hard to do exactly as told by prosperity teachings, such as the Law of Attraction or Abraham-Hicks or Rhonda Byrne.

Fresh air is the best disinfectant, they say. For sure, energetic literacy is the best way to obtain inside information about what ANY spiritual teaching does to its teachers.

Ultimately I don’t care much, Blog-Buddies, whether you read any post or book of mine. But you might want to get very clear that you always have the right to read anyone’s aura. As a consumer, that’s only sensible. Because auras never lie.

Was outright lying done by the 50 LOA teachers profiled in the article started last post (with three extra parts to follow)? I doubt it, except for one out of the bunch who seemed from his Magnetize Money Profile to be a bit of a con man. Those teachers weren’t even, necessarily, lying to themselves.

Yet consequences flow from any path to Enlightenment. Use energetic literacy consumer smarts when choosing yours.

Rhonda Byrne, aurically way different from LOA volunteer teachers

In America, shoppers are buying like mad. It’s “Black Friday,” the annual sale-fest when buying becomes an extreme sport. Let’s celebrate with some Magnetize Money profiles.

Incidentally, we have a contest still open for nominating candidates to receive a Magnetize Money Profile, my having decided to keep it open until December 1. Why? I’d like to share my research on using energetic literacy to inject realism into prosperity teachings, giving you a really good chance to think about how much energetic literacy and chakra databank profiling can help us win both success and prosperity.

Law of Attraction consequences at the level of aura reading

What does energy literacy reveal about serious followers of the Law of Attraction? If you’re a passionate believer in LOA, do not read this article. It could ruffle your positive attitude.

If your mind isn’t adamantly made up, however, I hope you will find this article thought provoking. Even, ultimately, a really good investment of your time. 

After developing the “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy” perspective, I profiled the big famous teachers. (You can find the results in that book. I’ll add a comment at the end of today’s article to make it easy for you to find some of the more important Magnetize Money Profiles, if you already have your own copy of the how-to.)

Here I want to share what I learned by profiling 50 passionate believers on The Law of Attraction/The Secret as taught by Abraham-Hicks or Rhonda Byrne.  These are everyday people, the kind of folks who are out shopping on Black Friday.

Lacking the wealth of Jerry Hicks or Rhonda Byrne, they have been teaching meetup groups for free. Some were certified coaches or had published books on how to be successful. Most, I suspect, merely were enthusiasts. They ran meet-up groups about Law of Attraction or The Secret, the leader’s photo prominently displayed.

Meetup group attendance is, basically, free. No Rhonda Byrne or Abraham-Hicks events listed there, at meetup.com. 

I’m surmising that LOA volunteer teachers selected for my research are not professional life coaches or published LOA writers, surmising that information like this would have been easy (and smart) to list along with other basic meetup group information.

For many of these LOA meetup groups, photos were also available of group members, not just the leaders. I didn’t think the member photos would lead to accurate research because group participants might have a relatively casual involvement. Therefore, I limited myself to researching only photos of leaders of groups about Law of Attraction.

Using the Magnetize Money Snapshot, I went through LOA leaders using their online photos. Sometimes I also researched a Heart Chakra Databank about Emotional Self-Awareness, just because the first three chakra databanks made me curious.

Discretely, I will not name the individuals researched but, instead, number them and name the related state or country. My pledge to you is that I really did read every single LOA group leader for whom a clear photo was available, no exceptions, until I had reached the research goal of 50 volunteer LOA teachers.

Hush hush, except for your chakra databanks

Blog-Buddy RACHEL was recently reading Coping when something is wrong energetically, posted almost exactly one year ago. In Comment 32, she asked:

I’m interested in what you say about the need to always be truthful.

How do you think that carries over to different cultures? I have the impression that there are many cultures where lying – or, at the very least, not being truthful or straightforward – is normal.

I’ve always felt that it’s important not to judge different cultures and insist that “our way” is the best way of doing things, and that, for example, people in foreign cultures simply have different habits that we don’t fully understand because our backgrounds are so different.

Do you agree? Or do you think that in countries where it is common to lie and cheat (say, in business situations) are clogging up their auras with STUFF?

Lying and cheating, from the perspective of energetic literacy

RACHEL, such a fascinating question deserves a two-part answer.

And I don’t mean the fake one and then the honest one.

First, about the everyday lying done in the name of being polite.

You and other Blog-Buddies may know that I have had 12 teaching/healing tours so far in Japan, amounting to a full year of my life. Even though I wasn’t able to go this year, and don’t plan to return until 2013, in phone sessions I continue to help Japanese clients with access to fluent English; I also do sessions with Japanese-American clients.

Including, come to think of it, three session hours yesterday doing just that!

Offhand, offthroat, I can’t think of any culture on earth where there can be so much lying and holding back. It’s a traditional art form in Japan, as much as giftwrapping.

Question the need to lie or hide or pretend

Based on a fair amount of experience with clients from Japan and elsewhere, my perspective is this:

You can always find a way to play the game in your society that does NOT require big lying.

One can always speak at least a tiny little bit of the truth in every situation. For instance, you could say “Interesting idea” as a substitute for saying, “You power-crazed, hypocritical, noodle head.”

Even a subtle, brief standing in truth can help to keep a person’s throat chakra clear.

Speaking your truth is required to fully use Your Power of Command

More about telling the truth is described in my upcoming book (due to ship today to warehouses, the next step in advance of copies becoming available… soon). 

“Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection” discusses the high-end value of truthfulness, how essential speaking the truth becomes when you aim to co-create with God.

Let’s leave for later conversations that vital topic of using Your Power of Command! For now, what about day-to-day living? That was RACHEL’s original question, after all.

Besides speaking at least a little of your truth now, something else is important. Consider it part of your sacred path to Enlightenment, if you would. Or simply consider it good old human street smarts:

If you live in a culture that demands prevarication, it is especially important to remove old STUFF from previous experiences of lying, hiding, deceiving, pretending, hating yourself for having to live in your culture as you have been taught, etc.

An obvious do-it-yourself method for helping here is learning a quality method to cut cords of attachment. Cord-cutting needs to be taken slowly, of course, beginning with minor cords of attachment and then “Working your way up to the majors.”

Hmmm,. no wonder, one of my two books in Japanese edition so far is “Cut Cords of Attachment.” So many of my Japanese clients and students have cleared out STUFF related to forcible lying.

Here’s my idealistic belief. Everywhere, everyone can develop clean, clear, respectful communication within one’s culture. We can do this both with present behavior and with regard to healing old STUFF from “the ancient age.”

You know, the Age of Before I Knew Better.

What if it’s worse? What if your culture demands unethical behavior?

About living in a culture where people routinely lie and cheat… funny you would ask about that, RACHEL.

Because (weirdly enough) I have experience with helping Energy Spirituality clients with that, too.

Another of my Asian clients lives in India. Joe is a very successful businessman who has done many sessions with me. Joe is an idealistic man who aims to bring employment to workers, lifting their qualities of life, and running his business honorably.

It is my delight to help this man and his gorgeous aura.

That’s how you hire a good professional briber

I have also helped Joe to hire people who are professionals at bribery. With your international sophistication, RACHEL, you can appreciate the need for hiring someone with this set of job skills.

Not being quite so sophisticated as you, I have received an education through my client Joe. This honorable spiritual seeker, and smart businessman, needed certain questions answered:

Would Mr. Gladys be good at his job at bribery? Such a tough judgment call. You really need to get the chakra databank nuances correctly, doing this kind of Aura Reading Research. High stakes, right?

Here’s what I have learned, based on researching many job candidates for “Official Company Briber.” The man must be effective and able to negotiate the correct sum, and offer it in the correct manner. However, a good candidate for the job of briber must also be honest — i.e., honest enough not to award himself extra money.

I mean, really, if you think about jobs where one would be tempted to steal a little bit, wouldn’t this job be especially tempting? As a professional briber, are you going to be content with your salary? Such a test of character!

You can have integrity and honesty at any job, even that one

Definitely, there is such a thing as an “honest bribery professional.”  I was able to help Joe find some good honest professional bribers.

Dealing with this social requirement, at this time in his culture, doing business as usual — guess what? Doing his job properly didn’t muck up Joe’s aura. Hiring such an employee wasn’t done out of glee, like:

• Yum, I’ll get to meet my ideal, a professional briber.
• How many bribers can I afford to employ at this time?
• Does it matter whether or not I can pay them as promised?
• Would some of those bribers notice if I didn’t pay them properly? What could they do, ha ha!
• I really like how sleazy this bribery professional is.
• Maybe I can learn some useful skills from this guy.

Curioser and curioser, chakra databanks included

In another instance, vandalism was being done at Joe’s office building. The crooked police chief, Mr. Jo-Jo, wouldn’t help. So Joe had to bribe him.

Unfortunately, the police chief was being paid more by the vandals. Although he pocketed his bribe, Mr. Jo-Jo continued to do nothing.

As a business person, can you imagine anything more frustrating? You hire an expert briber. You pay the money. Your bribee accepts the money. Yet he does not do what he was bribed to do.

And you cannot go to the Chief of Police. Because this man IS the Chief of Police.

In the case of this lamentable officer of the law, Mr. Jo-Jo wasn’t just dealing with culture and the status quo in that part of the world.

He was adding his own slime, acting out of greed, in a way that further messed up his aura.

Personally, I noticed something fascinating. Lucky me, I got to research chakra databanks of this crooked Mr. Jo-Jo, both before and after “stealing his bribe.”

The results were ugly. Ugly but instructive. On the level of auras, Mr. Jo-Jo didn’t get away with a thing.

What about bad karma from doing what society demands?

In India, as well as elsewhere, students of truth know this:

We create new karma through thought, word, and deed. What matters most? One’s underlying intention is a most important part of creating that karma.

Think of the examples I’ve given you, RACHEL, and there’s the rest of your answer.

Karma shows first in your aura. The consequences of one small action show temporarily. Long-term patterns of wrongdoing result in significant deposits of STUFF.

Then the Law of Attraction operates on the totality of Who-You-Be. Sometimes called “What goes around comes around.” And “Your biting karma comes back to bite YOU.”

Karma aside, just for a better quality life, integrity matters. In terms of how one is treated by others, it definitely makes sense to live with honor.

And, yes, this is possible. Anywhere. Every day of your life.

You can live with honorable intent in your culture, saying and doing the best you can. No need to make yourself a human sacrifice on the altar of ideals that don’t work in your society.

Clair George, Sleuthing the Spy's Aura

Ever hear someone say words like these? “I couldn’t read Joe’s aura. He wouldn’t let me.”

Can a person really cloak his aura? Don’t spies have to be able to do this?

Hey, no spy is that powerful. Once you have Stage Three Energetic Literacy, there is literally nobody on earth who can stop you from reading his or her aura.

Some people might be more complex than others, just as Godel, Escher, Bach might be harder to read than The Adventures of Captain Underpants . Nonetheless, if you can read, you can read. That’s what I believe, anyway.

So how come you may sometimes hear a professional psychic say, “Gladys wouldn’t let me read her aura”? An even weirder variation goes, “Gladys’ aura is unreadable.”  

Sure that happens. It has happened to me.

During a vulnerable time, years ago, I staffed a New Age Expo booth in San Francisco. A passing psychic told me, “Funny, you don’t have an aura. I’ve never seen anyone like that before.” Mr. Gladys looked a little sad, then turned away.

At the end of today’s post, I’ll share some ideas related to this incident. Also I would like to address the broader question of whether a person, spy or not, is capable of hiding all the way down to the level of auras.

Clair George, a spy’s spy

Recently deceased, Clair George was known as “a spy’s spy.” As noted in the Washington Post on October 17, 2011, in an article by Ian Shapira…

Mr. George was “a working man’s spy. Collecting intelligence. Meeting people late at night. And above all, recruiting foreign nationals to spy for the United States.”

And the New York Times referred to Clair George as “a consummate spymaster.”

Living as I do near CIA headquarters, I probably meet spies more often than you do. For instance, I had one in an adult ed. class that I taught years ago. Yep, right there in a public high school.

Another spy showed up at a local book signing. (That weird story is told in some detail in “Empowered by Empathy.”)

My beloved dental hygienist regales me with tales about her late father. You guessed it, a spy.

Sure thing, when newspapers report on spies, if they include a nice big photo, I’m there, researching away.

So my attitude isn’t “Scary! Challenging!” I’m more like, “Okay, another spy. Bring it on.”

Root Chakra Databank: Presence In The Room, Working As A Spy

Size of this chakra databank is totally variable, from 1/8 inch to “Fills the room plus two inches.”

The first thing that strikes me is all the scar tissue. Clair George has known physical danger and psychological horror. Putting himself back together time and again, how has he managed to get through?

Hint: It isn’t a noble operating principle like, “Honor, country, God.”

It’s more like “Life stinks. Get used to it, Clair.”

Also fascinating, the perpetual hiding is quite obvious to this Empath Merger Spy Sleuth. Every movement in the room, every bit of body language, is self-monitored. As though Clair George has developed his own internalized surveillance camera.

What kind of self-consciousness does this spy have? Not like:

• A wannabe A*C*T*O*R who is doing something technically fascinating every few seconds, constantly gathering material
• Nor like a semi-playacting reality show performer, thrilled by all the attention (and constantly monitoring levels of attention from others) 
• Nor like a TV news anchor who adjusts expression, camera angle, and ‘tude every three seconds, just like clockwork
• Nor like someone with a disassociative mental health problem
• Nor like someone who has tried pursuing Enlightement through nobly meant (but ultimately disassociative) practices of self-monitoring
• Nor like a psychologically pretty healthy person who has turned self-analysis into a kind of personality schtick

Nope, Clair George’s brand of self-consciousness is a deeply intellectual, finely tuned, internalized process of grim watchfulness.

“Okay,” I’m thinking, after leaping in and out of this experience. “Here we go again.”

Because every spy whose aura I’ve read shows exactly the same sort of hidey hole, deep in consciousness.

Clair George’s version is very established, ice cold.

1. First Mr. George has his true reaction.
2. He evaluates it in the background of the interaction. Like a cow chewing its cud… or a kid incessantly texting. Only grimly purposeful.
3. Meanwhile Clair focuses on participating in the scene at hand. As if it were real, right there, on the pitiful surface of life.

Overall, Clair feels a habitual contempt for the foolishness of gullible humanity. So unware! So lacking in having… or seeking… or even suspecting the existance of… spy hidey hole within!

When this guy pledges allegiance, he really means it.

Motivating Clair George is a glorious sense of integrity.

Is that fascinating or what? It’s as though the man is celestially coronated “King of the Vultures.”

Clair George has more layers than a croissant, none of them spontaneous. And none of them truthful.

Whatever standards you have about telling the truth, Blog-Buddy, this spy has encountered people like you. And despised them.

“Verbal integrity” means something very different to him than to you or me, something that (to me at least) feels really strange:

For Clair George, speech means “Traps for catching information and loyalty and power. Words, and silence alike, are for winning.”

Verbal integrity means “Being good at the (mirthless) game.”

Can spies cloak their auras?

You’re getting the idea, aren’t you, Blog-Buddies? Of course, no spy can hide his or her aura. Nobody can.

• Spies can watch their words. They can adjust body language.
• Maybe even part their hair on a different side, creating disguise. (Tricky!)
• Calculation and strategy and selective disclosure? Sure, they are everyday habits, no sweat.
• Avoiding sweat itself? Not a problem, either, I’m guessing.
• But no spy can hide from a skilled aura reader. Period.

Hey, after The September 11, this aura reader wrote to the CIA and the FBI. I offered to train aura readers.

No answer came. “Consider yourself lucky,” my friend Josephine said. At the time, she worked at Langley, the big headquarters for CIA. Josephine was, like me, a soccer mom.

“You don’t want to work for the CIA, not really,” she cautioned. “They don’t necessarily treat people well.”

Hey, I was convinced. I can’t even enjoy novels by that magnificent prose stylist and bestselling author John Le Carre – way too scary.

As for you Blog-Buddies, whether or not you like suspense in everyday life, I hope you get the practical point. Being able to read a spy… consider that yet one more reason to learn to read auras.

So why DO some folks say “I can’t read your aura”?

Let’s revisit that terrifying incident when the psychic informed me that I lacked an aura.

Devastated, confused, and wondering if perhaps I might be scheduled to die any second, I went to a colleague I trusted. Joe also had a booth at that San Francisco New Age Expo.

Joe laughed. “Your vibrations were just too high for that guy to read. I wouldn’t worry about it.”

Granted, there are two paths for reading auras. With Stage Three Energetic Literacy, any aura can be read, at will — whether in person or from a regular photograph. Or, if a skilled empath, you can do the deepest type of Stage Three Energetic Literacy and initiate a quick Skilled Empath Merge on anyone you like.

However, much of the aura reading attempted today is done on the path of psychic development. This honorable path emphasizes the help of astral guides and other psychic-level spirits.

With this approach, a great deal more flash is available than with energetic literacy, including that highly prized ability to foretell the future. One drawback is how a psychic’s success at reading anyone at will can depend upon the vibrational level of guides attracted by the aura reader.

Big-time, high-vibe psychics like James Van Praagh, Kathryn Harwig, or Sonia Choquette have no problem that way. Yet some of their students may not be as well positioned to succeed at psychically-based aura reading techniques.

Of course that same seeker of auric wisdom could do just fine when studying energetic literacy aura reading techniques because (among other technical differences) these methods are designed to help the aura reader to make an “energy sandwich” along with the Divine. Which anyone can do.

And which no spy can dodge.

Aura reading the real Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Yesterday, here in Washington, D.C., a memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was dedicated on the National Mall. In the words of President Obama:

“This day, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s return to the National Mall. In this place, he will stand for all time.”

Honoring this martyred hero of the Civil Rights Movement, I thought it would be fascinating to research Dr. King out of context. So much has been written about his political and social achievements. What could I possibly add? Deeper perception to the rescue!

Why not research Dr. King as a person? It might be especially fascinating to use aura reading to research his effectiveness as a person who had to deal with one of life’s perennial challenges, how to survive and thrive financially.

Will I find that he was a powerhouse at personal success and prosperity, only he diverted the flow toward political aims? Or will I find more of an everyman’s aura, regarding prosperity and personal financial success?

 20 miles. Very solid, determined quality to Dr. King’s drive to succeed.

Scar tissue at this chakra databank attests to how he has been knocked down and picked himself up again and again, resolving to become stronger.

This man has chosen to evolve away from bitterness and victimization, developing great personal fortitude as a result.

2. Aura Reading Root Chakra Databank: Saving Money

10 feet. The visionary quality of this man doesn’t extend to “petty” details about how to manage or save financial resources. Bringing in the money is as far as he has developed, at this stage in his life. The strength noted in the previous chakra databank is way more developed than his root chakra databank about saving money.

The lack of attention, though understandable given his work as a public figure, could have created some difficulties had the great man lived longer. Although it’s equally possible to speculate that he would have put attention towards this, and other, aspects of his human life, evolving it right up to his usual standard of excellence.

This chakra databank is read in contrast to the following one. Naturally, Dr. King shows about 25 feet of strength, focus, and the ability to work hard.

He’s an honorable, effective man but normally wouldn’t stand out in a crowd, not in everyday life.

4. Aura Reading Root Chakra Databank: Personality PROJECTED in Work Situations

Fills the room plus 4 inches. Shot through with electricity, like lightning bolts.

Inspired and charismatic, this personality projection is what we remember from such a great orator and world historical figure.

When working, fully seen in the public eye, the man’s personality glows up with power to help him fulfill his mission in life. Personally and politically, Dr. King is giving his life to rally public sentiment and change minds, open hearts. He is given just the oomph needed to do so.

40 feet of confidence — that’s way huge compared to what most folks can muster. Still, the texture is definitely small compared to the energies that Dr. King learns to handle in his public role.

The texture is a bit wobbly, suggesting that sometimes Dr. King does feel confident doing the everyday work of his civil rights leadership. Other times not.

Here is one of the reasons why I find him admirable, powerful, inspirational… but definitely not spiritually Enlightened yet.

You really have to prove your loyalty to Dr. King. Emotional Intelligence is one of many heart chakra databanks where this man has learned a kind of shut-down workaround. Helps him to keep persevering, even when viciously attacked. But it’s a workaround, not a true healing of STUFF.

Once you have earned trust from Dr. King, he is able to open up enough to read you shrewdly, assessing how best to work with you. However, the man is capable of much, much more. He’s just not living it yet, not at the time of this photograph.

8. Aura Reading Throat Chakra Databank: Communication at Work

Fills the room plus 8 inches. Moves into the soul of the listener and reverberates.

Yes, this communication charisma is the obvious glory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A strong Divine presence is being expressed through him, clear as a trumpet call. Also magnificent about this chakra databank: How Dr. King has grown comfortable with surrendering to this energy and co-creating with it, here and now.

He feels flawed to himself. He isn’t comfortable, really, with his being human. Especially because the man is learning to live with that previously mentioned, larger-than-life talent for communication charisma.

Dr. Martin Luther King has a genuine, personal, intense experience of connection to God. Partly there is emotional connection. Partly it’s energetic. Partly it’s felt in his body as a kind of quickening or waking up.

This minister knows that, when he chooses to pay attention, the connection is absolutely dependable. Divine inspiration comes instantly, as vibrant and real as switching on a well working lamp.

Conclusion

Dr. Martin Luther King shows a lot of talent for being successful as a person. He has made the choice to  devote his life to the Civil Rights Movement. And he has magnetized enormous success for that quintessentially American cause.

Many other civil rights leaders have emerged, some during and some after his life – and, of course, civil rights leaders who preceeded Dr. King historically – heroes all, in my opinion. But Dr. King was a supremely influential leader among all these courageous souls.

Although he had a strong spiritual connection, Martin Luther King Jr. also developed great human strengths, as we have read in this Magnetize Money Profile. The overall auric modeling was intensely powerful, human, authentic.

What a privilege it has been to explore his aura here for you’all, Blog-Buddies! And for and my own spiritual growth, too! 

The biggest spiritual wisdom is caught, not taught. And the grace in Dr. King’s aura is highly contagious.
