Ratan Tata. I first heard about him during a class report and was kind of fascinated when a picture of him was shown. He reminds me of a tiger.

He started from the bottom and seems to have a knack for turning companies around. Some of his earlier (successful) efforts were largely thwarted and offset by external events but he went on to head the Tata Group of companies which have made big acquisitions such as Tetly, Jaguar Land Rover and Corus. I’m really curious how he (and people like him) does it.

Better Guidance in 2012

Guidance matters always. But at the start of a new year, we are most apt to think about guidance. (Which is why I offer my workshop on Guidance the first weekend in each new year.)

You have so many choices to make this year, for good or ill, choices big and small.

For instance, will you choose to study aura reading by means of energetic literacy or psychic development? Okay, that’s probably not your biggest practical concern.

You also will be making choices about where you work, what you do for hobbies, which friendships you cultivate, how you plan to lose that weight, etc.  So which of the following are you most apt to consult?

• God in the form of an angel.
• God in the form of synchronicity.
• God in the form of your guardian angel.
• Jesus, as in having Jesus ask you, “What would YOU do?” (A riff on the movement called “What would Jesus do?”)
• Asking your gut feelings to guide you.
• Letting life be your teacher.

Beware fake faces, aura reading shows why

Once upon a time it was shocking. Rene Magritte made a painting of a pipe and captioned it, right on the canvas, “This is not a pipe.”

Was it or wasn’t it? You decided for yourself.

We still can, only the stakes have been raised beyond the surreal. Is Fox Cable News “Fair and balanced” or just the opposite? Can faces of beloved celebrities — most female celebrities over age 30 seen in America, actually – can those faces be trusted as quite human? Or has cosmetic surgery taken them to a whole new level, more like part- human, part-robot?

Such surreal topics were not in my mind at the mall. Not at first. Merely shopping, I went to the big mall nearest my home, Dulles Town Center. There I was greeted, repeatedly, by Demi Moore.

Large images of Demi greeted me numerous times. Demi Moore was, though the twin ”miracles” of photography and advertising, greeting me with oversized invitations to visit the new, improved Ann Taylor clothing store.

Only that wasn’t the message I took. Which was “That is not Demi Moore.”

Even, “That is not, exactly, a person.” In today’s post, I’ll do some energetic literacy research to investigate what has happend to that long-ago person, Demi Moore, a woman who physically looks “so much younger” at 49 than she did 21 years ago. Read More »

LOA Teachers, Profiles of Spiritual Addiction, Final Installment

Thanks, Hugh, for the auric modeling.

This post concludes some research I did for writing the how-to book “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.” It can seem beautiful, what is taught as The Law of Attraction and The Secret, whether taught by Abraham-Hicks or Rhonda Byrne.

When you’re traveling on your spiritual path, where is it wise to seek results? Not with the promises but deep within your auric field, in your chakra databanks, and then checking out what happens in objective reality.

Of course you can develop Stage Three Energetic Literacy, researching any one you like at the level of chakra databanks. Otherwise, you can find a professional at aura reading and learn about your own auric field.  Never worry, because STUFF can always, always, always be healed. Even a spiritual addiction can be overcome, often within a couple of weeks.

Could you put God first without living in Spiritual Addiction?

Yogic flying? A little goes a long way.

At our recent conversation about Spiritual Addiction, RACHEL wrote:

However, I sometimes puzzle over one of Jesus’s sayings: “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all the rest shall be added unto you.”

RACHEL sure opened up a can of… butterflies. She invited all us Blog-Buddies to comment. How could I resist, when so many of the spiritually addicted new clients who come to me had just this sort of priority.

Putting God first… is it possible to live that way not not live with a spiritual addiction? I’m living proof. Plenty of us Blog-Buddies are. So here are some thoughts:

How to be right but also happy

“Sometimes, your gut is just wrong,” quoth Mary Ellen O’Toole. Profiled in today’s Washington Post, by Monica Hesse, that quoted quoth sure grabbed my eyeballs.

Ms. O’Toole is the author of “Dangerous Instincts,” a new book drawn from her 30 years in the FBI, chasing down killers, psychopaths, and other just plain folks who paradoxically seemed “nice” to the neighbors.

“Sometimes your gut is just wrong,” screams that headlines in Hesse’s article. No doubt cynical Washingtonians are chuckling on their way to work. And those who live in my part of the metro area, Northern Virginia, may be smugly patting their guns. Because in our state we’re allowed, maybe even encouraged, to carry concealed.

Okay, what do I mean by “tucked inside”? Or by “chakra databanks”?

All around you, in every direction, you have an energy field, full of information. That’s your aura.

Tucked neatly within that, ta da! You have major chakras and sub-chakras. They’re tucked within you as super-concentrated sources of information.

So, you knew all about that? Great. Well how long have you also known that every one of your major chakras contains 50 databanks of information?

Tubular, man!

Awesome, tubular? Sure you are. These old bits of California slang may be outdated, but since birth – and lasting for your entire foreseeable future — your aura contains hundreds of these tube-like structures.

Dolly Parton as a Celeb

What happens to Dolly Parton’s aura when she sings? In her autobiography, Dolly describes herself as a child holding up a pretend microphone so she could sing for her audience. No photos of that are available, to my knowledge, but I have found some fine photographs for doing aura reading research.

Sure, we can compare some chakra databanks when Dolly Parton is simply playing “celeb” versus how those same chakra databanks perform when she plays “performer.” I’ll disclose that I am a HUGE fan of this singer and sometimes songwriter.
