Yesterday I was in session with “Gladys.” She has come a long way, healing problems in relationships with her family. Cutting major cords of attachment for her, one session at a time, has cleared out old patterns of STUFF. So Gladys is now in a great position to upgrade her quality of life.
Yet Gladys still doesn’t have social skills that reflect her well cleaned-up aura.
Who would have taught them to her? Usually we learn our best communication skills from parents. In a dysfunctional home, how can one learn anything but dysfunction?

Psychic vampires, energy vampires — how scary are they? Only as scary as you let them be.

“Yoko,” a recent client, asked me to cut a cord of attachment to her bullying brother. Everything about this session was a delight for me except for one sentence. As I sat with her, preparing to remove the cord, Yoko blurted out:
“I already had a healer remove my emotional cord of attachment to her.”
Ouch, yet more nonsense spoken (and apparently paid for) in the name of cutting cords of attachment! Sure, a cord of attachment contains emotions and patterns of energy. Yesterday I graduated a new group of 40 Skilled Empaths. They came from many parts of Japan, with varied backgrounds but two things in common. All began the weekend workshop as unskilled empaths and all graduated with skills firmly in place.
Skills of Empath Empowerment(TM) are easy, once you’ve learned them — comparable to riding a bicycle. And these skills aren’t just easy and super-effective but simple. You learn to make a slight, natural shift of consciousness that wakes you up from inside. A side effect of techniques like “Coming Home” is to help any empath become more vibrantly, authentically alive.
By contrast, I was told about a technique this weekend, a brave attempt at becoming a Skilled Empath. Once this approach was explained clearly to me by a workshop participant, I realized that for years I had been hearing about the technique in bits and pieces. Only I never fully accepted that people could actually be doing such a thing. Oh, the horror!
