“Psychic Empath,” an important term to define

June 3rd, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

What does the term "psychic empath" mean to you?

We born empaths are great! We have natural talent and huge potential to help others. Three cheers for the 1 in 20 people worldwide (even more in Japan) who were born with at least one gift as an empath!!!

Today I thought I would go into a bit of detail about an empath-related problem that’s fairly common these days. Initially it may not seem like a problem at all, more like “good reason to feel proud of yourself.” Or, in marketing yourself, ”an extra way to attract new clients.”

You’ve heard of this problem, when not called a problem. This problem happens when somebody uses a title like “Psychic empath” or “Intuitive empath.”

Yes, I’m going to hold my breath and jump into deep waters of controversy. Everything I write, at this blog and elsewhere, is about what seems true to me. Here, as elsewhere, there’s a definite chance that I could be mistaken, since I am only one person with only one set of experiences in this one lifetime.

Here, as always, what matters most for you readers is using your own self-authority. Take the bits of today’s post that you agree with and swat off the rest like flies at your holiday picnic. Of course, there’s always the possibility that you will find this post helpful, which is my intent.

What’s wrong with combining PSYCHIC + EMPATH?

Being a psychic is an ancient, honorable, and important profession. But someone who would go by the name “psychic empath” or “intuitive empath” is not trained as an empath, necessarily. The “psychic empath” may not even be clear about what it means in the first place, being an empath.

Think I’m kidding? A quick Google search today shows 256,000 results for “psychic empath.” More than a quarter million references to what, exactly? In this name there is no clue whatsoever that Read More »

How to tell if someone else is an empath

June 1st, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Yes, Aaron Copland was an empath.

So, Blog-Buddies, you want to be able to tell if another person is an empath. I can’t blame you for being curious.

Today I’ll share my top-secret methods that I’ve never divulged before to anyone. My sole request is that you read today’s post all the way through. (You’ll see why by the end.)

Let’s be light-hearted and refer to all possible empaths as “Joe.” That should make for better than reading than calling all your research candidates ”This person who may or may not be an empath.”

    Empath identification method #1

As noted in yesterday’s post, the best method by far is to invite Joe to find out for himself whether or not he is an empath.

“Internal validation” is the name for that. That comes in handy because becoming skilled as an empath depends entirely on internal validation. Why not switch this on early?

So how can your friend Joe find out for himself whether or not he is an empath?

Is he an empath? Investigation for a psychiatrist.

May 29th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

How can you tell if somebody else is an empath? Guessing won’t help you. Nor will extrapolating from another person’s behavior.

Two especially good examples of this un-guessableness about empaths came my way recently.

“Dr. Joseph” is a psychiatrist and skilled empath. He knows well the power of full energetic literacy. So he consulted me about two of his patients, “Gladiola” and “Benjamin.” Blog-Buddies, I thought you might be interested in some of the conversation (with details disguised). Read More »

How a cord of attachment can stall Empath Empowerment

April 8th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Blog-Buddies, three cheers for you curious seekers of truth who are moving full speed ahead on your personal path to Enlightenment.

Have I mentioned lately what a delight it is to host this blog for you? Today, like so many days, I wake up brimming, buzzing, twinkling with excitement. I can’t wait to read your comments and share a new article with you if my schedule for the day can possibly allow it.

Today it is possible, so I aim to follow up on one of the many things I have offered to do, with the prod of enthusiasm. Back in this article about setting priorities with aura-level healing, I mentioned that there can be dynamics within a cord of attachment that limit a person’s success at becoming a fully skilled empath. (See the heading on that post, “No more exceptions?”

In the first comment below today’s post, I’ll list other things that I have promised to write for you. Please add in anything else you have found that represents a loose end. Of course, Blog-Buddies, you probably know that we have a contest in progress through the month of April where the prize is that you get to request a blog article on a topic that fascinates you, be that a person with public photo (oh, so very rare these days ;-) ) or a topic under the general heading of Deeper Perception. Where to begin my Aura Healing and Transformation?

April 1st, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Helping you to become a skilled empath

Overwhelmed, anyone? Recently “Loretta” requested help to prioritize the various skill sets taught through this blog, my how-to books, workshops, etc. Her email went like this:

I was initially interested in your book Cut Cords of Attachment, but in looking at your website, I’m pretty sure I’m an (unskilled) empath. I ended up buying both books, Cut Cords of Attachment and Become the Most Important Person in the Room at the same time.

Which set of skills should I pursue mastering first? Can I start cutting my own cords before completing the 30-day empath training program discussed in Become the Most Important Person in the Room? Do I have to have skill with my empath gifts to be able to read my aura or do I use some other sense?

For best results, don’t play “Eeny Meeny Miney Moe.” Not with the trademarked systems I have worked so hard to develop. Thank you, Loretta, for asking. Here are some ideas to consider. Read More »

If you’re an empath, be glad

March 20th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

What a mighty and marvellous group are attending this year’s Empath Empowerment Workshop. Beyond that, I won’t supply any details about amazing Joe and Gladyses. (After all, we’ve chosen to respect a Confidentiality Agreement.)

However, I know that many of you Blog-Buddies would have loved to come join us this year. But couldn’t, not this year. In honor of you, as well as the glorious Gladyses and Joe, here’s today’s post in praise of being born as an empath.

    Being an empath, so under-rated

Sorry but it’s too late to decide whether or not you would perhaps like to try being an empath. This time around, as with all your incarnations, you came in with a fabulously powerful free will. However, you still deal with certain built-in constraints here at Earth School. Such as only one head per customer. Read More »

Japan, how to help — and what won’t help

March 12th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    Orderly as square Japanese watermelons

Even after the most violent earthquake anyone could remember the crowds were orderly and calm.

That’s how the BBC reported it.

And that’s my Japan, home to some of the most evolved souls on this entire planet. After such a shock, shaken up earthquake survivors doing what? Not screaming. Not preparing how to tell Oprah’s audience about the depths of their drama. No, just millions of upset but profoundly civilized people acting with wisdom.

Maybe you are stunned by the tragedy. Could you, right now, be feeling your own aftershocks of fear and loss? Here I’d like to share some practical advice about how to be most effective energetically at such a time.

Please don’t do this, especially you empaths

Thanks to our video-recording age, it’s easy to find ways to visually keep up with every bit of the disaster. Well, turn off your telly. (I guess I’m allowed to say that, since I’m still in England.) Resist the temptation to view those YouTubes. Here’s what will happen if you watch those images

    • Every image will remain, indelibly, in your subconscious mind (yes, for the rest of your life).
    • If you are a born empath, even quite a skilled one, there will be a tendency for your empath gift(s) to flip on. You regular Blog-Buddies know about the consequences of an unskilled empath merge. Newbies, check out Become the Most Important Person in the Room for details, even illustrations, about unskilled empath merges and how to stop them. For now, here’s the bottom line….
    • Whether you are an empath or not, immersing yourself in the pain and suffering of others will not help them. Not for more than two minutes, tops. While you will carry around random bits of STUFF in your auric field for weeks, years, or longer. And that part is guaranteed, not hypothetical. Read More »

    Quick greetings from ancient England

March 9th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

The College of Psychic Studies in London

    Hi, Blog-Buddies:

Yes, here is an official wave from the land of Buckingham Palace. One week I have been here now, officially halfway through my stay in the E.U.

Doing workshops and healing sessions and writing — that is definitely my favorite way to see the world. Traveling into the consciousness in a place, yum!

A close second for me is to walk down the street and be with people, especially the babies. Do I read auras as I take the People Tour? No. Practicing what I preach, I walk and talk as a “normal person.” Plenty of information lies right on the surface of life, present to ears and eyes and nose. It is such a delight; also an education.

Speaking of education, my first weekend back home will be the annual Empath Empowerment Workshop, March 19-20. Unlike the delightful but short Saturday version I have just done here, the one in Virginia will be two very full days. Some spaces are still available, and the Early Bird Discount for registration will last a couple of days yet. So take a look at the description right away, if you’re at all curious. Go to the link off the home page at the Official Rose Rosetree Website.

With all the skill sets of energetic literacy that I love and teach and love to teach, the Numero Uno choice is to learn Empath Empowerment. At least if you were born as an empath.

So, yes, consider yourself invited. Today it’s on to a short walk, then six sessions with clients. And the very first one is to be Blog-Buddy PRIMMIE. Hooray!

Empath merge with The Sexiest Man Alive, Guest Post by Elaine

November 20th, 2010 by Rose Rosetree

Ryan Reynolds, "The Sexiest Man Alive"

Oh, darn, we can’t all be designated by People Magazine as “The Sexiest Man Alive” in 2010. Even if gender weren’t a disqualifier, there’s that small numerical problem. But here is where most of you Blog-Buddies do win a fancy title: You’re probably an empath. Read More »

Publication Day for “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy”

November 8th, 2010 by Rose Rosetree

"Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy" Published Today

What do I do for a living? “Helping people grow toward Enlightenment” has been the basic motivation for the past 40 years. But a more current way of describing it would be this:

Helping The Meek to Inherit the Earth.

Think about how you found your way to this blog. These are the most common reasons that I hear about (Add others below, if you have them! Or, even, consider today’s blog post a survey!)

    1. I’m a born empath, wanting/needing to become a skilled empath. Read More »
