Read people deeper by valuing heritage

December 7th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Some nice Jewish boys from Ethiopia

My Jewish heritage — now that’s one of the last things you (or I) would expect me to blog about. Soon I will, however. And by the end of today’s blog post, you will receive an invitation to blog about YOUR heritage, too.

Here’s what got me thinking about this topic. A client, GLADYS, was discussing a Jewish man, JOE. As an aside she noted that “Of course, being Jewish, money was very important to him.”

No disrespect was intended. Not remotely. GLADYS is no anti-Semite. Yet clearly she had received a bit of programming about Jews that popped out of her mouth.

This pop-out reminded me that, regardless of which technique of deeper perception we use, our clarity will be muddled if we carry inaccurate stereotypes or prejudice about religion, ethnicity, etc. For instance:

    • During Energy Release Regression Therapy, if subconsciously you harbor a limiting stereotype about Jews (or others), you may block experiences that don’t fit into the existing framework.
    • What if you are doing a Skilled Empath Merge, then start looking for STUFF around stinginess, laziness, or whatever the social stereotype to go with a person’s cultural heritage? You may find it. (Thank you, Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle.) Read More »

Hypnosis and past-life regression therapy guest post

October 11th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    Heather Rivera, Researching Regression Therapy

First, Blog-Buddies, a preface with the Rose Rosetree perspective….

Energy Release Regression Therapy is my specialty in the field of hypnosis and regression therapy. This morning a client forwarded exciting news about research in the field of past-life regression, courtesy of Heather Friedman Rivera.

Many of my regression therapy clients DO move into experiences from other lifetimes, even non-human and non-earth lifetimes, as part of the healing process. Yet most have first sessions of regression therapy based firmly in the current lifetime. Either way, there are amazing benefits from regression therapy, in a wide range of areas

Some of you Blog-Buddies have had the experience of past-life regression therapy, either with me or with other practitioners. Please take a look at Dr. Rivera’s guest post for today. And, for those who haven’t been involved in this powerful healing modality, please forward a link to today’s post to any friends who might be interested:

or go directly to her survey: http://www.pastlifesurvey.org/index.html

You will also find a YouTube video made by this dynamic regression therapist.

Did you know that hypnosis, in general, is among the best researched healing modality in mind-body-spirit? Sure is! I’m especially eager to help people participate in research on regression therapy, so please spread the word. Read More »

Making a cave painting, a Regression Therapy Treat

September 5th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Have I got a treat for you, Blog-Buddies. In honor of Labor Day, here is a transcript drawn from a session of Energy Release Regression Therapy with Karen Kline. Undoubtedly you have heard of cave paintings, even seen photographs like the one at the top of this post.

But did you ever wonder what the process was like? Why, exactly, were such paintings made?

I can’t write about most of them. But once I did have the privilege of learning details about an extremely evolved artist from the time of cave paintings. He made healing paintings for his clan, made them inside caves, making artistic choices for reasons that surprised me — and maybe will surprise you, too.

Even back in the days of cave painting, this soul had attained a highly developed spiritual awareness. During one session of Energy Release Regression Therapy in 2009, we stopped to explore what it was like for him (a male in that life, a female in this lifetime), when making a cave painting.

Technical point for some of you readers: Note the synesthesia! Those of you Blog-Buddies who have studied my system of Aura Reading Through All Your Senses(R) will appreciate how, using deeper perception, each person uses soul-level gifts for synesthesia. In the field of hypnosis, synesthesia is one of the signs of profound trance states.

As someone who works in both fields (hypnosis and regression therapy and also teaching energetic literacy), I look forward to exploring how human consciousness, at depth, is fully engaged in experiences of synesthesia. I can think of no finer example of synesthesia than Karen Kline’s account of making a cave painting. Read More »

    Perpetrator Lifetimes

August 16th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    Having a perpetrator lifetime?

It’s hard to understand psychopaths without understanding a less well known term, ”perpetrator lifetimes.”

Sure enough, perpetrator lifetimes came up in an astute comment by GRACE W. to yesterday’s post. She was responding to an equally astute set of questions posted by Blog-Buddy JODY G. (Check out Comments 2 and 3 at the post, one in a series about empaths being the opposite of psychopaths.

So let’s start by putting perpetrator lives in context. Most human lifetimes are about the obvious pursuit of spiritual evolution. Joe is born into a family with certain problems. Certain struggles are set in motion during ages 1-21 (all outlined in his life contract). The life contract continues until the death date originally set up, with less and less that has been scripted in Joe’s life contract as the years pass.

Mostly a life contract is set up for the use of free will. It’s like playing Monopoly or Settlers of Catan, only better. Certain rules are set up but then anything goes, at least when it comes to using free will.

Within his life contract, Joe can freely strive to fulfill his goals, live his dreams. Some ways he’ll succeed, other ways not. Always he will carry within himself some conscience. He’ll have standards, whether or not he musters up enough goodies from free will to meet those standards.

For a regular Joe (like this hypothetical Joe), it could be a welcome discovery to learn about Energy Spirituality or any skill sets that help him to move out STUFF. Having less STUFF distorting the expression of his free will, Joe will accomplish more of what he desires, act like a nicer person, etc.

Even on his worst day, however —  fighting with family or getting drunk or eating more potato chips even than usual – Joe wants to a be good man. Tomorrow will be better, he hopes.

    Why perpetrator lives are different

Sometimes a beautiful angel plans a different kind of lifetime. The goal is the same: Enlightenment, sooner or later.

But angels pay for Enlightenment on the installment plan. Read More »

Repetition compulsion and the tenderness factor

August 1st, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

What a long and fascinating conversation we’ve been having here about tenderness.  Loooooooooong ago, you may remember the quiz that resulted in our pursuing the tenderness theme: Empath Empowerment, Sophisticated Quiz Answers .

So far we have had separate posts on Disappointed by the lack of tenderness in your life? and More Ways to Improve the Tenderness Factor. Now let’s consider our final items on the 10-point Tenderness Seeker’s List.

    8. Avoid Repetition Compulsion

Now there’s a fancy term! As defined at Wikipedia, “Repetition compulsion is a psychological phenomenon in which a person repeats a traumatic event or its circumstances over and over again. This includes reenacting the event or putting oneself in situations where the event is likely to happen again.”

The connection to tenderness will become clear. Maybe amazingly clear, so keep reading.

    One Life Contract, Six Resources

July 26th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Blog-Buddies, I love when one of our threads brings up more threads. Unlike picking apart that skinny stuff caught in a sewing needle, these threads within threads can be — as you’ll read soon from DAVE — fascinating. Our ongoing conversation about The Need for Tenderness is bristling with thread, thread about Life Contracts.

Here is how I defined life contracts yesterday:

Before incarnating, you made an agreement about certain things in this lifetime. You chose your parents, the maximum number of life breaths, and ways that you especially wanted to grow during this particular incarnation.

Based on my work with Energy Release Regression Therapy, I am convinced about this contract business. Earth really is a school, an amazing academy for spiritual growth.

If you aim to grow a lot during a lifetime, you’ll purposely front-load your life contract up to the age of 21 (or for some wildly ambitious souls, 28). Oh, the painful things you’ll include purposely!

You’ll pay back huge amounts of karma from past lives. You’ll set up things like cruel parenting, difficult siblings, family problems with addictions or insanity or abuse or poverty, etc.

Later, at Comment #5, Blog-Buddy Dave asked: Read More »

“Fat” isn’t necessarily what you think

June 20th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

Summertime, summertime! The fun season of sodas and pretzels and beer. Also Energy Release Regression Therapy. Photo credit for today’s post goes to Superior Platform.com. http://superiorplatform.com/pictures-of/fat/fat-videos.htm

For some of my clients, anyway, summer vacation is when they make an unusual kind of pilgrimage to Sterling, Virginia. Where my sessions of past-life therapy, unlike all other types of session I offer, must be done in person. Gladys is visiting now, back for her third series of regressions.

This brave explorer is a long-term client who lives quite a distance away. Over the years, Gladys has done many phone sessions of Aura Healing and Transformation. For certain kinds of depth healing, however, Gladys appreciates this other facet of STUFF removal. At least she hasn’t had to fly across an ocean to get here!

For certain kinds of STUFF, like deposits from smoking marijuana or deep patterns of fear, it’s really useful to remove frozen blocks of energy from past traumas. One session out of this latest bunch contained a memory set that was so surprising, so poignant, I asked her permission to share the highlights with you. Skip ahead to the next heading of this article, unless you want to read a little background first.

Typically, for this type of session, many frozen blocks of energy are released from experiences in a client’s present life. But sometimes the subconscious mind and Higher Self wake up a different kind of experience, supporting the client’s intention for a healing around a particular theme. What name shall I give this former incarnation of Gladys? Let’s go for a big, interesting name — Veronica.

Read Veronica’s story, if you dare. Because maybe, just maybe, some of you Blog-Buddies know a person who has worried about being fat. Read More »

    Hypnosis Quiz, the Answers

January 7th, 2011 by Rose Rosetree

    HypnosisQuiz ANSWERS

Yes, somehow you have guessed! Here come answers to our latest quiz. In a way, this latest quiz has broken a record… for the smallest number of responses ever. (Trust adventurous AMANDA and PRIMROSE to have been the only quiz-takers so far!)

In a way I’m not surprised at the small response. So many people don’t value hypnosis enough. At least on the level of the conscious mind. (Your Inner Self has a very different opinion, undoubtedly. More on that later.)

If you haven’t yet taken the Hypnosis Quiz, you might want to take that quiz now, afterwards return here. Because the quiz answers may surprise you.

As always, add your comments below, including sharing any experiences you have had with hypnotism, plus any big surprises from this quiz.

Here’s a small point that, in itself, might surprise you for starters. (That was my reaction anyhow, back in the day.) Do you know the difference between a hypnotist and a hypnotherapist? Read More »

Leaving a cult? How I help with deprogramming.

November 27th, 2010 by Rose Rosetree

Could I call myself a deprogrammer? Gulp, yes. I suppose I could.

Except deprogrammers have a reputation for being quite fierce. Sometimes, I’ve heard, they are hired to kidnap cult members, hired by anxious parents to slap that kid into shape over the weekend.

My approach is way different. In case you have a friend who wonders, “Is that cherished group of mine a cult?” you might forward a link to this post. Only please, please do not send that link just because YOU are concerned about your friend being in a cult.

However, YOU might be invited to help a friend who is dealing with cult mind control. Joe might be a participant in a cult. Gladys might have a significant other who may be involved in a cult.

How can you avoid enabling? How can you bring clarity? Read More »

Why I do not believe in “Dark Souls”

November 24th, 2010 by Rose Rosetree

Couldn't there be some shades of grey?

Sure, I’ve heard the names just as you have: Dark souls. Darksiders. Psychic vampires. Energy vampires. Such a long list.

But do I believe in them? No. Here I’d like to offer my reasons, just in case they help you to shape your own views.

Recently at Deeper Perception Made Practical, my colleague Anna Conlan guest posted on ethics. She said explicitly that she does not believe in dark souls. That has implications for how she will treat her clients, her friends, herself. Every belief set has implications for a person’s quality of life. So it’s worthwhile to consider your own choice of beliefs on this topic, whether or not you wind up agreeing with Anna and me. Read More »
