When I grew up in the 1950’s, one of the biggest compliments you could give was calling someone “sincere.” Gee, who cares about that any more, in a word gone post-modern and ironic? As if!
Well, I do, actually. And it’s particularly refreshing to find a sincere public person who also happens to be a political pundit. Reading auras, reading faces — these activities also require sincerity as part of a carefully chosen intent to gain true knowledge.
