Watch me fall in love with that egoistic, un-introspective, absolutely-not-an-empath, Swiss watch of a tennis player. Chakra by chakra, this aura reader reads Roger Federer until she falls, and falls hard.

As requested, here comes the latest in our series of aura readings of athletes. Bring on the energy field of sumptuous tennis star Roger Federer. (To find his recent face reading, click here.)

Modeling for you Blog-Buddies what it means to use skill as an empath, I will tell you the precise point in today’s reading when (and if) I decide that it is safe for me to also do an empath-merge on the man.

Everyone can read auras. See how-to links at the end of today’s post. Also, speaking of technical points, for months I have used Photobucket as my photo conversion site, but it has become so buggy as to be mostly useful for teeth gnashing. Can any of you Blog-Buddies recommend an alternative site for storing photos to keep blog links stable?

Not everyone is an empath, just 1 in 20 Americans, 1 in 5 Japanese (as I have noticed from teaching there). Not everyone can play tennis the way Roger does, more like nobody! So let’s plunge into his aura databanks and find out if our score for this reading really can be measured in “love.”

I’ll use the photo to our right. Here’s a link to it, so you can copy it, paste it onto an email or word document, and then enlarge it by pulling on the corners.

Presence on the tennis court databank at the Root Chakra

Roger’s glee is palpable. He just adores being able to slam his opponents. He also gets such a kick out of playing ELEGANTLY.

Blog-buddies, I know nothing about this athlete but there’s something about his passion and pride concerning elegance that makes me wonder if the man is French. I’m going to check out his nationality at Wikipedia and return.

Aha! Roger is Swiss but grew up close to the borders of France and Germany.

Relationship to male tennis players databank at the Right Knee Sub-Chakra

As a gift of his soul, Roger loves to outwit other guys. Craftiness, strategy, and psychological intimidation are art forms for him. In terms of STUFF lodged in this databank, Roger definitely has something to prove. I find a “Nyah-nyah” quality of triumphing over his enemies and relishing the final stomp.

That’s the deal breaker for me. I’m thinking, no empath-merge with this dude. If I’m going to connect up deeply with someone who is really talented as an athlete, I would prefer someone with more kindness. For any kind of learning, it’s important to find a source you like. Otherwise, qualities that you find incompatible will be encoded along with the knowledge you desire. That’s especially true when you do an empath-merge and directly imbibe another person’s way-to-be.

Handling judgment of spectators databank at the Right Elbow Sub-Chakra

How I sympathize with any athlete who must deal with an audience of spectators. Fans are one thing, foes another. How does Roger relate to having an audience present? According to his most relevant aura databank, this man doesn’t have to develop a “thick skin.” Instead, he was born with it, another gift of his soul.

Instead, he was born with this orientation, so consider it another gift of his soul. Roger is strongly ego-based, put together with every component needed to be a tough, and very male, champion-caliber athlete.STUFF at this databank makes it very easy for him to sneer at any detractors. It isn’t a matter of “I’ll show you.” or “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.” It’s more like, “You morons. Why would I care about your opinion when I could have mine?”Competitiveness databank at the Solar Plexus Chakra

Imagine Roger Federer in the midst of a major tennis match. Now imagine him talking right out of his ribcage:

“I am the winner. En route to my victory, I will enjoy making you squirm.”

Yes, this athlete is well endowed with competitive spirit. You know how some athletes have the attitude, “I’m mostly competing against myself”? Not this guy. Winning is quite personal for him. It’s both a delight and an expectation.

Connection to other players databank at the Solar Plexus Chakra

In yesterday’s blog post, we considered walls that empaths build into their auras, mistakenly thinking that walls are a protection against taking on other people’s pain. A clever comment raised the point that non-empaths also can (and do) build walls. Roger is quite a specialist at this. He has constructed his very effectively to keep him out of range of any influence from a competitor.

Some athletes are empaths. (I’m especially partial to the empathic circuits of Tiger Woods, profiled in a recent issue of my e-zine. To read this, see the Links section, below.)

Federer, however, is a great example of an athlete who definitely is NOT an empath. Beyond this, he has made the choice to connect as little as possible.

Connection to his audience while playing databank at the Solar Plexus Chakra

Very impressive! Federer connects to the praise and allows it to energize him. Any non-praise-type energy flowing to him from the audience is immediately filtered out, utterly disregarded.

Willingness to see his own human life at the Third Eye Chakra

Are you kidding? Federer has zero interest in some introspective, mushy-gushy, pathetic evaluation of his human life.

“Let the tennis score be my evaluation!” This could be his motto.

In this way, the tennis great is very much like other successful young people. They don’t start to question life until life stops delivering goodies on their doorstep daily.

When I was a girl, we really did have a milkman who came to my apartment building to make daily deliveries. By the time I was a teenager, I didn’t go to malls or typical teen hangouts of the time. I started sampling churches, temples, every denomination of religion within walking distance. Why? In part, life wasn’t delivering that many goodies, compared to the pain.

If you think back to when your own spiritual seeking started, it probably wasn’t on the day that someone handed you a sports trophy.

Soul expression while playing tennis databank at the High Heart Chakra

This is where I fall in love with Roger Federer. Hitting that globe of a ball, he is brimfilled with celestial light. Playing tennis is his glory, exactly what he incarnated to do. And to do so brilliantly, it is a delight to the entire universe.

Coordination, senses, breath — all of it is focused completely. Tennis is Federer’s church, his surrender.

For this part of his aura, yes, I’ll definitely do an Empath-Merge.

Time stands still. A single tennis ball becomes the moving point in a silent, still world. The joy of moving to meet it makes all other pleasures pale by comparison.

CONCLUSION

Roger is highly specialized as a person. He has exactly the auric strengths to excel in his sport. For now, developing other human virtues can wait.

For now, Federer’s busy being a peregrine, a cheetah, a blue fin tuna. On air, earth or sea, these are, respectively the fastest animals. On the tennis court, Roger Federer goes as fast as humanly possible, racket in hand.

We'll use my system of Face Reading Secrets(R) to interpret some of the most distinctive face data on fascinating Federer, said to be the greatest tennis player in the history of the sport.

Tennis readings, anyone? Let’s make those face readings of Roger Federer, said to be the best tennis player in the history of the sport. And let’s thank Betsy and Anonymous for entering him into my Olympic Reading Contest!

We’ll use my system of Face Reading Secrets(R) to interpret some of the most distinctive face data on fascinating Federer.

Now, if you would like to read along with me, I recommend that you use this link or copy the head shot shown here to an email or Word document, then pull the corners. That way you can make his face at least as large as a decent tennis ball… and far easier to read.

But beware, before you begin reading faces. Beneath that charming smile is one scary tennis player. Let me count the ways:

1. Extreme lowbrows, eyebrows placed super-close to his eyes

Spontaneity. Able to express himself (physically and verbally) way faster than a hiccup. (Substitute your favorite expression for something really, really fast.)

2. High ear position. If you look on the level, you’ll see ear tops above his eyebrows.

Super-quick speed for thinking, deciding, evaluating, learning. People with high ears are somewhat rare – maybe 1 in 200 people owns this face data on even one ear.

When you have this, here’s one thing that happens. You’re sitting in the movie theater. Someone makes a joke. You laugh. Afterwards you hear everyone else in the theater laughing.

Nobody in the theater audience hands out prizes for such an ability. But think how it might come in handy if you’re holding a tennis racket.

3. Straight chin bottom. Notice the shape right at the bottom of the face.

Decisions are based on principle and theory. So if Roger psychs out an opponent’s weaknesses, he can aim his shots quite directly.

4. Straight lower lip bottom. Hold the lipstick but use your eyes to notice the contours of Roger’s lower lip.

Communication has no sentimentality whatsoever. He’s all business.

For a tennis player, of course, that racket becomes an extension of the body — an organ of communication at least as expressive as lips.

5. Out-angled ears. From the front, you can see much of the shape of those ears. From the back, you could slide a finger or two between the ear and his head. Assuming that Roger would let you!

Deep down, does Roger want to do what others expect? No way. Never way.

And could that willful unpredictability help with the psychological aspects of the game? And speaking of psychological advantages…

6. Priority Area I is longest. Simply put, Roger has an extremely long forehead.

Unlike most athletes, Roger Federer’s brain comes first. Not his physical intelligence. On and off the tennis court, he’s constantly learning, analyzing, trying out new strategies. And speaking of strategic advantages…

7. Long nose. A photo like this shows it well, even though the angle isn’t straight on.

I also like it because it highlights the lowbrows, high ears. straight lip bottom and chin. Don’t let the hairdo and camera angle make the Priority Area I seem small, however, which is the big disadvantage of this particular photograph.

Nose length like this goes with a work talent for planning and strategy. Trust me, to Federer tennis does count as work.

8. Down-turned nose tip. The tip is lower than the “bottom of the nose,” that place where nostrils are found.

If you can tear yourself away from your computer screen, find two mirrors so you can see your own nose in profile and check out your own nose tip angle. It goes up, not down, dollars to donuts, slams to mumbles (that last expression being my attempt to show how very much I know about Federer’s sport ).

That down-angled nose tip is an even deeper indicator of talent for creating strategy.

CONCLUSION

Roger has a lot going for him in this tennis racket. That penetrating and quick intelligence helps him succeed at the psychological aspect of the game, while double indicators for spontaneity amp up his speed. Most terrifying of all, for opponents, is the ability to think strategically. If he played chess, he could do it slowly. But Federer has been built with the speed and coordination to move strategically… and do it nearly as fast as others would, if very lucky, be able to think strategically.

As a face reader, I’d have to call it like this: Roger Federer wins by a nose.

LINKS
