Silda Spitzer’s photo, yesterday, was a perfect introduction to micro-expressions. These are split-second, ultra-revealing looks.
Until you become an expert at reading these looks, you’ll miss them. But they are the expressions people consciously try to hide, if they know they show at all. Micro-expressions are all about secrets.
How does a person really feel inside? Underneath her brave front, of great dignity, Ms. Spitzer was photographed standing by her man. Here, the micro-expression shows an unbearable anguish.
