This apprentice-style program emphasizes application of the principles of Face Reading Secrets® in a variety of contexts.  Students take one lesson at a time, receiving a brief lesson with an assignment to complete independently.  Students choose whether to submit their assignments as a typed paper or as recorded on an audio-cassette tape.  Program Faculty (Rose Rosetree) will review each assignment individually, then meet with the student for discussion by telephone.  At the conclusion of the discussion, the student's work on that portion of the program is graded on a pass/fail basis.

For this program, the emphasis is not on written materials -- which currently consist mainly of the lesson textbook, The Power of Face Reading -- but on mentoring directly from Rose in order to bring out the special excellence of each student as a physiognomist.  The combination of the student's efforts and supervised instruction serves to nurture the student's talents and knowledge.

Students have the option of submitting readings that they do as part of their assignments for inclusion on the Women's Intuition Worldwise ("WIW") website -- these would be attributed to you, of lesson, and can even be linked to your own website, if desired. (This portion of the program will become available when WIW improves its grasp of technology; the goal is to post student readings on a regular basis.)

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.  No particular academic background is required.

Each student assignment is graded on a pass/fail basis.  To complete the program, students must successfully complete Required Lessons I and II, one elective, and Required Lesson III.  Successful completion of the program is at the discretion of Program Faculty, which also retains the right to accept or defer interested candidates at its sole discretion.  If a lesson is failed, payment for that lesson is non-refundable.

Application Process:

As a prospective student, you are invited to submit a written statement (of any length) about why you are interested in becoming a Face Reader.

Along with this statement, please submit a photograph (non-returnable) showing your face from a straight angle.

Once accepted, you will be able to complete one lesson at a time, at your own pace.  You'll pay when receiving the assignment, then turn it in and schedule a mentoring session.  A phone session is preferred.  Especially if you live outside the U.S., you may prefer to simply have Rose comment on your questions and assignment by email.

This Mentoring Program has the goal of helping you to develop your fullest abilities as a physiognomist; mentoring is a priority.   Congratulations on applying for this program.

Before graduating, you also have the option of joining the blog and forum community at Rose's Deeper Perception Portal.  Either you can participate in ongoing online community or you can propose an original topic that includes one of these terms: Deeper Perception, Face Reading, Aura Reading or Empath.  (Please clear your topic with Rose before you begin to create your blog or forum.  One fine example of a Face Reader's blog is the one created by Lyle Miller, found here.

Sample Face Reading Submission

The following Face Reading project was submitted by Lyle Miller as a Mentoring Program assignment (you can read more about Lyle and his blog here.)  For this project, Lyle selected the controversial film actor / director, Mel Gibson.

Photo 1 – Mad Max 1979

Area 3 largest, then area 2 and area 1 last: 

This man is a sexy earthy physical type person who would probably like to make a mark in life but it’s not his top priority.  However, the social standing in his career is more important than any intellectual effort he might care to make.

Low set ears: 

This person does not make decisions quickly but dwells on the details.  Since he’s not given to thinking things over, he probably makes decisions based on what he can see or touch.

Left ear lower than the right: 

What amount of analysis he does do is done inside, not out where people can see it.  His left ear is also out angled so he tends to think more creatively about his private life.

The right ear is small and the left ear is small but larger than the right: 

He has the ability to take in a small amount of information but he treats it with respect.  He hears more details than he publicly demonstrates.  His private assessment of information is more creative than he publicly acknowledges. 

His entire face is lower on the left:  

This man values his public life and career more than his private life.

Right eyebrow is thick, long, straight and low set:   

In his career and public life he is able to handle lots of ideas at the same time and carry through with ideas or projects right to the end.  He has the ability to publicly communicate with ease.

Left eyebrow is thick at the beginning but thins out about half way has an angle near end:

Privately he can deal with ideas at first but quickly loses interest unless he has the opportunity to apply intensity to the project.  In any case, near the end of the project, he becomes detached and confrontational in an intense way.

Upper eyelids have folds and are thin: 

He sees himself as a person existing apart from others with a sense of independence.

The right lower eyelid has a 10 curve and the left has a 7 curve: 

This man has the ability to deal with anybody in a public outward way but reserves a slight amount of caution privately.

The right eye angles downward and is higher than the left: 

He has a gift for finding problems and values his public life over his private life.

The nose is short and straight: 

He has ability for short range projects applying structure to his work.

The nose is padded on the right and narrow on the left:

This man shows a need for closeness to others publicly but inside is a loner and comfortable that way.

The nostrils are flared: 

He designs adventurous ways to spend his money.

The nose has a medium sized tip: 

This person is not overly concerned about his personal financial status.

The nose angles to the right: 

He prefers that his work is noticed by the public.

The overlip has a well defined philtrum: 

This man has sex appeal.

The upper lip and lower lip have moderate fullness: 

This man will talk about personal or public issues to a moderate amount, and do it with comfort.

Lip length is longer on the right than on the left: 

This man is actually more comfortable talking to the public than to close friends.

Jaw width is wide: 

He has the ability to commit to a situation and stick with it.

The chin is out angled: 

He has the ability to be very competitive.

The chin is wide: 

He perceives that he has a support group.

The chin has an angled shape: 

He has a need to be in control.

The chin is short: 

He has a tendency to take emotional risks with the associated guilt that might develop.  Life experiences will push this trait to manifest in a major way twenty years from the date of this photo.

Photo 2 – Lethal Weapon 1 1987 (PHOTO 1 PLUS 8 years)

This photo appears to have been printed in reverse.  I see at least four reasons to think so. 

• The fuller eyebrow is on the photo right – subject left. 

• The most nose padding is on the photo right – subject left. 

• The highest corner of the mouth is on the photo left – subject right. 

• The face is lower on photo left – subject right. 

All of these traits are on the opposite side in the first photo and all subsequent photos.  Therefore, I will assume that the photo is reversed and make my observations with that in mind. 

The first change I see is the pronounced angled eyebrow on the subject’s right. 

Assessment:  MG has picked up a measure of detachment when dealing with others involving his career.  This detachment probably has allowed him to be argumentative if he wants to be. 

His lower eyelids have straightened considerably on the right from a 10 to a 2, and on the left from a 7 to a 3. 

He has become a lot more wary and cautious, both in his career and his private life.

The right eye is now up angled but the left is still even-angled. 

Assessment:  He has picked up optimism about his career but is a realist about his private life.

A completely new trait is the nose grooves. 

Assessment:  While his career has clarified, he also has realized that whatever financial support he had is no longer available or that any financial success he enjoys will come from hard work.  Maybe the financial support is not longer available because his career has clarified.  I would say that the up-angled right eye and the nose grooves go together here.

The nose angles to the right and the bottom of the nose is higher on the left. 

Assessment:  He evaluates his work for its impact on the public.  The nose bottom higher on the left tells me that he now values spending money in a way that the public will not hear about.  Either that or he values spending money on his close friends and family – or both.

His upper lip is much thinner and pulls down in the center. 

Assessment:  He has learned to not talk about himself or has had personal experiences that he would rather not talk about.  He also shows slight mouth puckers also indicating that he’s not talking about something.  The center of his upper lip pulls down somewhat indicating that he is hiding private information.

Unique wrinkles are starting to appear which would also indicate that MG has been emotionally abused since photo 1.  To me, these wrinkles have a feeling of sadness and apprehension.

Photo 3 – Lethal Weapon 2 1989 (PHOTO 2 PLUS 2 YEARS) 

Deep forehead lines now appear now.  MG has begun to use his brain.  Along with that is the fact that both eyebrows have gone straight or nearly so.  Some event has occurred since photo 2 (1987) that has forced him to analyze details at length.  We can also see the beginning of anger flags but his wariness is less now than in 1987 – the right lower eyelid measuring about an 8 on the wariness index and the left measuring about a five.  Privately he is more wary than he is in his career.  Photo 2 showed just the opposite.  We will see the wariness index continually oscillate.

Both eyes are now up-angled showing a somewhat more optimistic view of both his career and private life.  The nose grooves have disappeared.  This is suspect because the photo appears to have been airbrushed; however subsequence photos also don’t show nose grooves either.  At this stage in his career, maybe he has decided that being a celebrity actor isn’t going to be as difficult as he thought it was going to be.

If one allows for the shadow, it appears that the bottom of the nose is lower on the left which emphasizes his right leaning nose.  That would indicate, again, he values his work as a public endeavor.  Unless the airbrush has fooled us, the nose appears to be padded equally on both sides meaning that he has found balance in his public and private need for closeness to others. 

He has developed a set of suffering lines with emphasis on the right side.  Something has happened in the last 2 years to show him the realities of life on the dark side and it probably concerned his career.  His upper lip is slightly thinner yet, showing even more reluctance to talk about personal matters.

The unique wrinkles we saw in photo 2 however, have disappeared showing that an improvement has occurred with his sadness and apprehension.

So … we have a man who thinks more, deals with detail more, is showing the beginning of repressed rage, is less wary, is more optimistic, is more at ease with financial abundance from his career, has developed a need for closeness in his private life, has experienced a career event causing the need for compassion, and has lost the need for charm and grace.

It makes one wonder what happened in 1988 or 1989.

Photo 4 – 1992 (PHOTO 3 PLUS 3 YEARS)

The lower right eyelid curve has changed again.  The right measures a 3 which is a change from 8.  The left measures the same at 5.  MG has become more wary concerning his career, again.

The left eye is now down-angled and significantly lower than the right.  He probably still values his public persona but something is pulling his left eye down.  Could it be that his personal life has taken on new trauma?  The anger flags seem to have deepened slightly and a suffering line is now noticeable on the left side.  Further, the power line dimple on the left side has disappeared.

Put together, one would have to guess that there have been events in his personal life that have been unsettling - at best but his public life hasn’t been a picnic either.

Photo 5 – 1998 (PHOTO 4 PLUS 6 YEARS) 

In 1998, six years after photo 4, the length of areas 1, 2 and 3 have become equal signifying balance in MG’s life.  The left eye is actually higher than the right and it has developed an up angle.  The anger flags are more developed and suffering lines are fully developed.  The lower eyelid curve has not changed on the right but has moved from a 5 to a 2 on the left. 

This is where MG hit his stride in his career and private life.  Yes, he has some repressed rage, but he has put it in its place through analysis as evidenced by the forehead furrows.  He has three well developed forehead furrows showing his ability to concentrate, (top furrow), his concern with the spiritual, (middle furrow) and his ability to assess  events around him, (bottom furrow).  He has put his personal life in a more satisfying place as evidenced by the left eye moving up and angled up and he now has a well developed pair of suffering lines.  Perhaps he has emphasized his personal life because of having his ideas about his career significantly challenged by others as evidenced by the appearance of scoring on his lower lip.

Photo 6 – 2002 (PHOTO 5 PLUS 4 YEARS)

Four years after photo 5, MG now has well defined anger flags and a well developed angled eyebrow on the right side.  He also has padding on both sides of his nose, plus we see eye extenders for the first time.  Lower eyelid curves have straightened to left 1 and right 2 indicating he is taking a very wary approach to his personal life and career.  The left eye is still higher than the right, but the angle appears to not be as up-angled as in photo 4, four years earlier.  Also, we see that both ears have become out-angled.  His suffering lines are even more developed and the lip scoring continues.  Assessment of area 1 is not available, but area 3 is much larger than area 2 – probably exacerbated somewhat by the position of the camera. 

MG’s repressed rage has been with him for well over ten years, now, and is well established.  We can presume that the anger stems from both his personal life and his career, but in terms of his career, he has decided to step up and take command as evidenced by the angled brow on the right.  Even so, his personal life is still important to him as evidenced by the higher mounted left eye, but he has a more realistic view of his personal life as evidenced by the even left eye angle.

He has developed a need for relationships in both his personal life and his career as evidenced by the padding on both sides of the nose and, along with this, has reached out to others, (eye extenders).  This is probably the first time in his life that he has realized that he really needs others but in dealing with this need, he, once again, has found that he must be very wary, (lower eyelid curves 1’s and 2’s).  This is a very complicated time for MG.

Both ears are now out-angled, which is a new development but fits with the new trait of the angled right eyebrow.  He has taken command, but in a career that is founded on creative thought.  There is a major shift in his career efforts, and to make this shift, he went back to what he knew.  This is evidenced by the larger area 3, which was one of his traits early in his career.  There is a struggle that permeates all of this as evidenced by the deep suffering lines and the pronounced lower lip scoring.  My guess is that MG is at war with Hollywood.     

Photo 7 – January 2005 (PHOTO 6 PLUS 3 YEARS) 

Here, MG is thinking things over.  His area 1 and 3 are equal with area 2 smaller.  The angled brow on the right side remains and the nose has picked up an angle to the right.  The left eye is higher once again, and both eyes are up-angled.  His lower eyelids remain left 1 and right 2.  Both ears have retracted and we see both lips becoming thinner.  The mouth angles up to the left and we have the appearance of pronounced power line dimples.

Here, the war continues.  He remains very wary, (lower eyelids 1 and 2),  The anger flags are not as pronounced as before, so there might be some measure of peace, but he definitely wants answers as evidenced by equal areas 1 and 3.  He wants to keep his career, (nose angle to the right), but is finding more satisfaction with his personal life, (left eye higher and up-angled).  His thinking is more analytical than creative, (retracted ears), but he’s not talking, (both lips thinner).  He has formed an opinion about his personal future, (smile angled up on the left side), and that has allowed him to develop some measure of grace and charm, (power line dimples). 

In other words, something’s brewing but he’s not saying what it is.

Photo 8 – DUI 2006 (PHOTO 7 PLUS 18 MONTHS)

Area 1 is now the smallest and area 2 is the largest, but again, this might be the camera angle.  The anger flags have almost disappeared.  There is still a small one on the right side.  The right eyebrow remains angled and the nose padding now appears to be somewhat fuller on the left.  The lower eyelid curves have expanded to a full 10 on the left and maybe a 9 on the right.  Philosopher’s circles have appeared under each eye.  A vertical groove has developed on the nose and a line without lip has developed on the left side.  MG now has a very thin upper lip but the lower lip is somewhat fuller with additional lip scoring.  There is a small power line dimple on the left side and the right ear has retracted fully against the head. 

If the camera angle is telling us the truth about area 2, then MG has decided to make his mark in the world once and for all.  He has reconciled the repressed anger, especially in his personal life as evidenced by the lack of an anger flag on the left and fuller nose padding on the left.  Another indication of a decision to make his mark is the development of philosopher’s circles under the eyes.  Yet another indication is the appearance of a vertical groove on the nose.  He has decided that his accomplishments in his career to date are not enough. The fuller lower lip would imply that he has something to say publicly and this would tie in perfectly with the nose groove and philosopher’s circles.  Also, the fact that the right ear has retracted would indicate that creativity is no longer necessary in designing his career future.  He now knows what he wants to say and the nose groove says that he’s ready to make it.  The problems are: the lower lip is showing additional lip scoring, and the lower eyelid curves have expanded.  The lip scoring would indicate that while he wants to make a public statement, somehow he is being shut down.  The expansion of the lower eyelid curves would indicate major life events. One and a half years ago he was wary and cautious but now he is wide open and completely vulnerable, not only in his career, but in his private life as well.       

Further, the line-without-lip marker would imply that his personal life, at this point, includes a need for secrecy as well as hopelessness and maybe resentment.  The thin upper lip would also imply secrecy.  In the one and one half years since photo 7 he has lost all but a hint of his power line dimples.  Just as in photo 3, (seventeen years ago); his life experience has caused him to lose his grace and charm.   

These are profound changes, especially in such a short time, and would imply recent life events of major importance.  One event that we know about is the arrest of his son, Christian for DUI resulting in Christian spending some 3 months in two different rehab facilities.  Christian’s arrest was in February, 2005 - one month after photo 7.

This man is in crisis.  Passion of the Christ had the appearance of a statement, (after all, he wrote the script and directed the movie), but it’s not over because he is showing signs that he has a lot more to say.  Unfortunately, the DUI is merely a manifestation of great turmoil and, sadly, there will probably be more events like it.
