FACE READING SECRETS
WEEKEND WORKSHOP INTENSIVE
CHECK BACK IN 2009 I’m one of those women of a
certain age—you know, the kind who are often considered to be socially
invisible. No wonder I was motivated to write this book! But I don’t believe that age
makes faces bad. Instead, I find that your life story is written on your face.
This new book is a manual for interpreting these inspiring stories. Yes,
usually, facial changes are enormously inspiring, when you learn what their
significance. Many people are surprised to
learn that about 80% of the changes to people’s faces do NOT involve wrinkles…
but that’s just the beginning of the surprises you’ll find in this book. Besides learning to read your
own face, it will help you to read anyone over the age of 18. And, speaking of
time, I spent more than nine years writing this book, rewriting it, researching
photos, testing the accuracy of my interpretations with thousands of clients and
students—all to make the book as helpful to you as it could be.
Newbies—I’ve designed this how-to
as an ideal way to begin reading physical faces for meaning. The photos and
systematic instruction help you to find your way into this insightful material.
Experienced face readers—The more
sophisticated you are as a face reader, the more you’ll appreciate the
innovations here. Deepen your skills by learning to do Transformation Readings
(about meaningful ways that faces change over time) and Integrity Readings
(focusing on the character component of a face). I’ve also included
interpretations for face data you won’t find described elsewhere. Unlike my other how-to on
physiognomy, The Power of Face Reading,
this new book emphasizes how faces change over time. Which facial changes happen
instantly? Which can happen in a month? Which changes take years? My personal introduction to
this book wouldn’t be complete without my mentioning one of my passions. Dare I
say it? I’m against cosmetic surgery and Botox. (To be precise, it’s the VANITY
SURGERY that bothers me, not cosmetic surgery to correct deformities.) Here at Amazon, if you search
under COSMETIC SURGERY you’ll find over 400 titles, and the ones for the public
tend to grovel in favor. Hey, why not? That’s where the money is. But if you care about using the
talents you were born with, you owe it to yourself to get a true second opinion
on the subject. See Chapter 10 of
Wrinkles Are God's Makeup.
I do urge you to show this
chapter to anyone you know who is considering either Botox or vanity surgery. But mostly I invite you to show this book to
anyone over the age of 30 who could use a little inspiration. Have you ever
doubted that you’ve got a face full of talent? Doubt no more. When you look in the mirror, do you
applaud or do you search anxiously for signs of aging? Facial evolution could inspire you,
if you only knew how to see it. For starters, did you know that most of the ways
faces change do not involve wrinkles? Did you know that someone who
welcomes personal growth changes faster than someone stuck in a rut? Heredity
matters less than you think, and free will matters more. It’s not unusual to develop a
dozen meaningful face changes that you’ve never noticed before. Some faces,
like Eleanor Roosevelt’s, develop twice that many. And all faces show alterations that
are wrongly explained away by genetics, weight, age, even gravity—anything but
the underlying reason, the inner development of character. Now you can learn
accurate ways to see inner patterns about honesty, work, intimacy, frugality,
sexiness and more. Let Rose Rosetree’s new book help you read faces as
a
spiritual talent scout. For nine years, Rose has researched
the meaning of facial changes. Now she shares the results in this lively,
fast-paced how-to. Learn which parts of your face are likely to change in hours,
weeks or years. Mirror in hand, read your face in the here-and-now. Or take out
your photo album and gain mind-boggling insights into yourself, friends, exes,
family. Never before, in the 3,000-year-old history of physiognomy
has there been a book like Wrinkles Are God's Makeup. Numbered,
autographed pre-publication copies are available now through publication day,
May 5. Order your copy now! Table of Photographs (Visual examples of face data in the
book consists of headshots of all 42 U.S. Presidents, plus other photos;
comparison photos illustrate the book’s Transformation Readings.) 1.
Wrinkles Are God’s Makeup Discover why most of the ways your face changes do NOT
involve wrinkles. Why face reading isn’t expression analysis or face
judging… plus other basic concepts of physiognomy. 2.
The Truth About Your Face
These principles make Transformation Readings meaningful. 3. Instant
Alterations Which face data changes most quickly? Learn to read distribution of hair in eyebrows, eyelid thickness, smile depth and more. 4.
Become a Spiritual Talent Scout
Lady Diana’s surprising face changes furnish examples as we use Face Reading to examine the soul’s growth. This chapter also introduces 10 rules for Spiritual Talent Scouts.
5.
Five Famous
Faces
These Transformation Readings boggle the eye and the mind. Who changed most? Eleanor Roosevelt. Who changed least? Ronald Reagan. 6.
God’s 30-Day Makeover Plan
Like the makeover articles in women’s beauty magazines, but deeper, God’s makeup emphasizes how we can reinvent ourselves. At times of accelerated outer pressure or inner growth, a face can change significantly in less than a month. Examples include cheek padding and lip proportions. For new perspective on skin eruptions, hear what zits would say if they could talk. In-depth reading of Colin Powell compares three photographs.
7.
Long-Term
Changes
Explore changes to the upper half of the face, including face data that reflect decision making, communication and social relationships. 8.
More Facial Consequences
Examine changes to the lower
half of the face, including face data that reflect personality, money manners,
power style and survival skills.
9.
What Wrinkles Really Mean Despite what the Botox sellers say,
wrinkles are not usually “worry lines” at all. Learn meaningful ways to
interpret a variety of facial markings, most of which will inspire you. Decide
for yourself: Could wrinkles be God’s makeup, rather than some terrible,
unfair consequence of growing older?
10.
Vanity Surgery Ever wonder about the relationship of
conventional good looks to soul-level talent? This chapter shows how everyone
gets something, then goes on to interpret what is lost with different cosmetic
surgery procedures. Introducing concepts about holistic health, a chart
relates toxic emotions to face changes--and disease patterns. By suppressing
skin-deep expression of imbalances, will vanity surgery force patterns to be
expressed in more toxic ways?
11.
Does Evil Show? Learn practical ways to use face reading for self-protection, including sophisticated ways to spot pretense. What won’t a sociopath’s face tell you? Discover deeper forms of perception that are essential for reading integrity. This chapter includes a four-photo Integrity Reading of Richard Nixon--You’ll do a double take at the finish.

TOPFROM THE BACK COVERReading faces for character is a 3,000 year old art. Now Rose Rosetree, one of America's leading face readers, has written the first book to explore how faces change over time. Step-by-step, learn how faces reveal secrets about work, power, money, sex and much more. Lavishly illustrated, and spiced with Rosetree's irreverent humor, this book is enormous fun and a joyous celebration of free will.
TOPPRAISE FOR ROSE ROSETREE'S FACE READINGSFrom inside the front cover: "I decided to send her a picture of myself ... with the caveat that my
wife would 'check' her report for accuracy. 'She's got your number,' was
my wife's simple response."
"Rose Rosetree can spot a potential fibber a mile away. Or, in
this case, 2400 miles away."
"Governor John Engler and Mayor Terry McKane "were highly
skeptical (but) both men said they found Rosetree's readings uncannily
true."
"She doesn't immediately seek feedback on her accuracy. She sits
back, confident that she's at least partly on target. When she does ask,
it's with a flat sense of curiosity, like someone peering out of a
rain-splattered window to check on a storm's progress."
"It's like she's known you forever ... but that's crazy, because you
just met. Still, she has described you perfectly, and not just your
surface traits."
"Is face reading some flaky fad for '90s? Absolutely
not."
"You can't judge a book by its cover; but according to Rose Rosetree,
author of
The Power of Face Reading, you can
learn all about a country star by their face."
"All over America, singles are finding that face reading is far more
reliable than computer dating. Rose Rosetree is the acknowledged expert
and has evolved her own system from the ancient Chinese system of
physiognomy"
"You haven't been reading my face, you've been checking with my
Mum."
"As Rose Rosetree says, 'The truth of what we are shows in our faces
and each face, in its distinctive way, is perfectly beautful.'"
Rosetree's "unconventional look at the presidential candidates'
features reveals much."
"Rosetree's goal is to demolish societal standards which separates
so-called good looks from bad. All facial features have meaning and
value, she declares, regardless of their popularity or apparent lack of
appeal."
"Rosetree is a renowned aura and face reader ... even skeptics will
enjoy it if they are open-minded."
"Rosetree's motto is 'God don't make no junk.' For her, every
facial feature tells a story. So, if you want an edge in knowing if he's
Mr. Right or Mr. Way-Wrong, if he's fling material or worth a long-term
investment, don't just read between the lines -- read his face."
TOPFORWARD (from the book)by Charles McDonaldCEO American Business Network Omaha Nebraska January 2003 Even I wasn't prepared for the impact of this book, and I've been involved in face reading since 1992. As a businessman, I've found it enormously helpful for dealing with clients and hiring staff. And although I won't claim that face reading is the only reason for my success, I count it as a major reason why my small business has gone on to gross more than $10 million a year. Similarly, I'd credit face reading for helping my business to survive the disastrous dot.com bubble mania of the late 1990's. Just one example is the time I hired Rose Rosetree to consult on a proposed business merger that, in retrospect, would have been a serious mistake. I'm hardly the only executive to have discovered the value of the subset of biometrics known as physiognomy. The 3,000-year-old art is emerging as a hot new industry. Amid increasing globalization of the marketplace, concerns about terrorism and economic uncertainties, it makes sense to delve deeper into what can be learned about the human face. Biometric facial recognition systems worth millions of dollars are now being installed worldwide. My fascination with this technology caused me to develop a unique tool that allows the best of the growing ranks of America's professional physiognomists to reach the desktops of business professionals the world over, via the Web. All this experience notwithstanding, I wasn't prepared for Rose Rosetree's new book. She has convinced me to examine something I never used to question -- how faces change over time. Assuming that faces turn a generic version of "old" now strikes me as pathetically simplistic. And about as helpful as thinking that French fries, baked potatoes and hash browns are all the same food. There's enormous meaning in how faces age, if only we'll pay attention. Now that Rose has pointed my eyes and heart in the right direction, I'm amazed at how much more there is to so-called “facial aging.” To see what she means about these changes being "God's makeup," skip ahead to Chapters Four and Five, which contain "Transformation Readings." The one on Lady Diana shocked me most. How many times have you seen her face on TV, newspapers and magazines? I figured I knew everything about how she looked, but was I ever wrong! It's that way with all the detailed face readings. You also might want to browse in this book by turning to the four-photo reading of President Nixon in Chapter Ten, with its dramatic finish. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. And Rose's interpretation of Nixon's face is typical of her work--so accurate it would be scary, if it wasn't for her heart-centered approach. And this separates her from her peers. She stands alone as the world’s best. Rose’s compassion comes in handy for the how-to part of this book. You’ll learn how to examine what shows in the mirror, compare it to old pictures in your photo album and interpret how you have changed. Because Rose's writing is so entertaining, accessible and witty, it can take a while for the seriousness of her message to sink in. But eventually you get it. Absolutely everything about how your face changes is meaningful. For a baby boomer like myself, this message couldn't come at a better time. Thanks to this book, I'll look differently at myself, my wife and my friends. If I hear that any of them is heading for the cosmetic surgeon's, even for a little shot of Botox, I'm going to urge him or her to read this book first. Rosetree really does offer a true second opinion. Until I read this book, I didn't realize how much brainwashing I'd received, when it comes to faces. Not only about aging, either. Stereotypes about race and weight run so deep, they come automatically. We can't make ourselves blind to ways that society has taught us to see, but we can supplement the foolishness with something more valuable.
I
believe this book can profoundly change how we see people. The implications
are enormously exciting for communication, management, relationships and the
real bottom line -- what you see in the mirror. Is looking older really
so bad? What if it turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened
to you? Whether you're 30 or 90, this book can change your life.
Three indexes at the back
of this book are included to triple your enjoyment. Check them out!
Index I
contains references to the famous
people whose faces are used as examples. Look for your favorites, be they
the good, the bad, or the ugly. Then go back to find what I had to say
about that person’s face. Wrinkles
Are God's Makeup indexes all U.S. Presidents, all modern First Ladies, and
assorted other notables, like Albert Einstein, Maya Angelou, and Cesar Chavez. It wasn’t
practical to include photos to go with every reference, but you can easily go
online to find photos of anyone in Index I.
Index II
is my favorite. Here’s where
you look up the quirky things you notice about faces. Yes, different items
of face data are listed according to facial feature. So if you see someone
with interesting cheeks, pull out your book right on the spot. What is the
meaning of those close-set cheeks? Look under “Cheeks, close-set,” and be
amazed.
Index
III is the “normal”
index, where you can research a variety of topics where face reading brings
unexpected insight. For instance,
what can a face tell you about being an Extrovert or an Introvert? Even a
glance at Index III will show you references to 23 different items of face data.
Yes, my system of Face Reading Secrets® can teach you a lot about that very
interesting question.
