Deeper Perception Made Practical

Marcel Didn’t Give Chicken Soup for the Soul

No mime interpreter needed here—, the best kind of expert to reveal the inner Marcel Marceau would surely be an empath. Let’s merge with the man to celebrate his extraordinary life, 84 years that ended September 22. I’ll describe the chakra databanks that interest me most. Comment away with your own findings!

Root Chakra Databank for Version of Reality

In Marceau’s inner world, the folks don’t wear white face. They’re more blood-spattered. For a man who brought so much joy through performance, Marceau’s aura shows him to be shockingly aware of pain. In that respect, he’s like the dreaded kind of relative you would meet after 10 years, an uncle who starts your conversation by listing all the funerals.

Unlike that morbid relative, however, Marceau also shows abundant compassion. So, let’s be clear; I’m not trying to characterize the great performer as a whiner. He’s just far more serious than you might judge him to be by his wardrobe.

Belly Chakra Databank for What he is like as a lover

If you have the pleasure of, literally, falling in love with Marcel Marceau… how would it be? Unforgettable. Creativity doesn’t begin to describe this man’s innate talent as a lover. Also add uncommon tenderness.

Solar Plexus Chakra Databank for Stage Presence

Marceau brings a cathedral with him. No wonder he can exude such grace while performing. Whatever problems might cause tremors in his human life, while performing they’re banished. Marceau feels unshakeable confidence.

What would have happened if the great mime had gone “Chicken Soup for the Soul” and turned boisterous motivational speaker? Admittedly, this would be a bit of a contradiction. Still. Marceau could have cured stage fright so powerfully that today we would have even more wannabe actors and rock stars than ever. Since he never gave those speeches, we have one more reason to thank him.

Heart Chakra Databank for Emotional Self-Awareness

The biggest surprise for me about Marceau lies right here, at his heart. How often this man feels bored!

Detachment is one of the great mime’s signature emotional qualities. This certainly helped him to turn off talk and persuade others to come along with him, entering into a soundless realm. However, the downside of great detachment is colossal ennui, and Marceau probably felt this more keenly than you or I ever will.

Throat Chakra Databank for Communication in Public

Joy blasts out, as if resonating from a trumpet.

How could a man so strongly connected to pain send out such loud peals of joy? Don’t call it a contradiction. And promise me, Blog-Buddy, that you will never, ever compare Marcel Marceau’s version to the big clown cliché, “Laughing on the outside, crying on the inside.”

Marceau’s chosen communication does not speak of denial. The man is merely an emotional alchemist.

High Heart Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill

Does Marceau do the work that thrills his soul? Most people don’t, as you know if you either:

  • Look at the people around you.
  • Have read elsewhere my findings that out of 300 people, only one lives with an inner connection that is strong, unrepentantly human, and soulful.

Marceau does this like a champ. Unostentatiously, he models what it feels like, moving with spiritual grace.

This mime’s outer grace may have made him famous, but those who saw him perform also had the chance to sample a more eloquent inner grace.

But if you never had a chance to watch Marceau perform, don’t consider all opportunity lost. As a skilled empath, you still can receive your own mini-workshop from the great Marcel Marceau. Let him teach you about grace or, at least, stage presence.

Forget that he didn’t give loud seminars while alive. Forget that Monsieur Marceau is, technically, dead. He still lives in photo, so learn in depth by doing a Skilled Empath Merge on him, yourself!

Thsnk you for this post. It is as exciting to me as the Ezine. It is also wonderful to note that, yes, you can experience a person through his photographs even if you have never seen a performance and he is no longer with us. What a gift!

I am surprised you did not mention his third eye. The phrase “crystal clarity” popped into my head when I read his third eye. This clarity, which permeates all his chakras, seems to be the result of his willingness to observe life with the detachment you mention.

Marceau could have cured stage fright so powerfully that today we would have even more wannabe actors and rock stars than ever. Since he never gave those speeches, we have one more reason to thank him.

You have such a great sense of humor, Rose!

Colleen, you’re welcome. For readers who don’t know, that Ezine you refer to contains articles that are more in-depth than I can post at this blog.

I send it out the zine once monthly to those who subscribe, and it’s a pretty good deal, between being free and my solemn promise that I will never rent or sell your data. You can sign up at my home page,

Now, Colleen and other Blog-Buddies, here’s THE REALLY WILD THING about yesterday’s Skilled Empath merge with Marcel Marceau. Of course, I didn’t research anything about him in advance, because that would be a lack of integrity. When doing any article (or personal reading, for that matter),I put aside whatever I know already about the person. And certainly, I don’t research new information, tempting though that might be.

When reading the great mime, I brought my usual ignorance. But later that day, I read his obit. in The Washington Post.

You know, I can doubt myself just about as well as any of my students ever does, and inwardly I was wondering, “Rose, how can you write–in public yet!–that a man who made so many people laugh carried so much pain at his root chakra?”

Then I read in the post that, long before he changed his name to Marceau, the great man’s father was exterminated in the concentration camp at Auschwitz. Interesting?

Thank you Ryan for that contribution about the clarity at his third eye.

Rose, I know it is an activity that thrills my soul when I can’t wait for the Ezine or see the photos that you merge with on this blog.

I am like a child in a candy store!

I have a question about information and integrity. I was interested in merging with a photograph of a boyfriend of 17 years ago. The events surrounding that relationship were painful indeed.

I know longer have cords of attachment to that person (you gave me that info. in a session almost two years ago).

I have received much info. from photos over the years, albeit unconsciously. Would it be fair to go back and do this to practice since I have not talked to this person in 12 years? Since those energy centers contain so much more than I could have ever imagined, can it still be done with integrity? My focus and intention are different now as well.

Will you be doing the Oct Ezine from Andover, Massachusetts, (won’t you be too busy), or later, or before you leave?

Aren’t I a piggy..oink:-) I would love to see a reading of Ariana Huffington. I hope that before the election you will do the two candidates whoever they may be. Have you ever done Hillary Clinton?

Colleen, you have raised a really important question. All my aura-reading and Skilled Empath merge techniques have some built-in safeguards that, combined with a pure intention, will make it safe for you to read anyone from a photo. Your integrity will be protected, and your aura, too.

Actually, your question brings up one of the reasons it is so smart to study with a teacher before doing a lot of aura readings or Skilled Empath merges on your own.

We all have great innate wisdom — as beautifully put in that recent post by CindySue — but teachers like me have worked pretty diligently to anticipate problems and protect people from suffering.

It’s a fine line. Talent rules. Inner self-authority matters enormously. Yet a little help from a teacher still can make an important difference, without disrespecting either your talent or wisdom or ability to learn on your own.

About the zine, you guessed it, Colleen. I have it all done in advance to go out on time, which is more or less the first of a new month.

Before Election 2008, you can be sure I will do detailed readings of the candidates. Arianna, I’m not sure about, though it’s possible.

    Keep those ideas coming!
