Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List — Read this and be inspired!

Enlightenment Life List — sure, why not? Just as birdwatchers keep a life list of exotic birds they have spotted, I have begun a list.

Granted, this is just Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List. Mine contains names of people whom I consider to have moved into  Enlightenment. Not because they are famous or pretty, talented or otherwise amazing as human beings. As a teacher of energetic literacy, and also an Enlightenment coach, I research Enlightenment and what it means to me.

This post contains my running list, begun on Sunday, July 18, 2010. These posts can help you keep track before nominating:

  1. A YouTube Video Explanation of Why I Maintain this List
  2. Discerning Enlightenment
  3. Enlightenment Nominees
  4. Alphabetical Enlightenment List
  5. Moving into Enlightenment, Helped by Rosetree Energy Spirituality

Rose Rosetree’s Official Enlightenment Life List

Big disclaimer:  What does it mean when I note that a person’s state of consciousness qualifies as living in Enlightenment? Is it an endorsement of that person’s healing services, meditation techniques, or other work? Definitely not. Use your Post-New-Age consumer smarts. Please!

Got more candidates for this Enlightenment Life List? As time permits, I’ll do a short aura reading for free of each nominee, just to screen, and will respond with a simple YES or NO.

How to submit a nomination for this free aura reading research

Here is my open invitation to you Blog-Buddies. Any time you have a serious candidate for this list, you are invited to write one or more brief comment with the following info:

  1. To avoid duplicated research, please check out the list of previous nominees. I’ll only research a nominee one time for this list. (Some exceptions will be made, but at my personal discretion only. Thank you for respecting my time.)
  2. Include, please, the nominee’s name and a one-click link to a clear photo. Yes, a photo, please. Not a link to a YouTube video.
  3. Please summarize WHY you are interested.
  4. One nominee per comment, please. Unless your nomination is longer than a few paragraphs. In that case, please break up that nomination into multiple comments.
  5. Remember, even if your nominee doesn’t make it onto Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List, if that person has been a spiritual inspiration to you, keep that inspiration. A person need not be living in Enlightenment to do great work, be mega-talented as a healer or teacher or anything else. Your nominee could still touch your heart, change your life, even be a saint! As an Enlightenment Coach, I simply aim to help spiritual seekers to aim for standards. Energetic Literacy makes that possible for those of us living now.
  6. Finally, regarding your nomination, I request your patience. It takes more time than you might think to do this research, as does maintaining the blog itself. So I save up comments to this post and then go in and spend the hours required to respond. You might want to check back often and comment at other posts, too.

Also, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for new posts or all new comments.

And What Will I Do with Your Nomination?

Here’s my part of the deal. I’ll research and add that name to my Enlightenment Life List, provided that this person DOES show spiritual Enlightenment.

Plus that name will joyfully be added to an Alphabetized version of this list.

Either way, I will definitely add your nominee’s name to the list of those who have been nominated.

In this Age of Awakening, millions of people can move into Enlightenment, and do it with Age of Awakening Enlightenment. This Enlightenment Coach is dedicated to doing her part to help.

GRAHAM, you didn’t ask about the third of the merry trio, Richard Arsic. But his headshot is there alongside the other two, so I’ll research him as well.

Oh well. Like his two colleagues, he isn’t doing well at chakra databanks like Third Eye Chakra Databank for Connection to Spiritual Source. With all respect, that’s kind of a non-starter. A “Who cares about God?” insouciance — for all three of them.

  2. 2602

Yet they all show a hale-and-hearty (even pushy) connection to life. Such as their Root Chakra Databanks for Connection to Physical Reality.

Definitely a path with appeal to some. Just not a path to anything close to Enlightenment.

Thanks for your nominations here, GRAHAM.

  3. 2603

STEVE, thanks for these nominations. A great idea!

Let’s begin with your nomination, Comment #2588. Starring Reiki healer Pamela Miles. For this research — and your other nominations that follow, I found a relatively recent image to research. Because auras of people have changed so much as we settle into The Age of Awakening. Which might be kind of the point you were making!

  4. 2604

Fascinating! Pamela Miles is nowhere close to Enlightenment but, rather, her aura shows a beautiful adjustment — one chakra databank after another — of developing her personal way of connecting to astral energies (which is, of course, what Reiki channeling involves) and then putting that aside and then coming back to her human sense of self.

Reminiscent of someone who works in a shop, creating mouth-watering pastries, And somehow she finds a way to sample them just a bit, and not turn into a 300-pound pastry eater!

  5. 2605

Next, STEVE, I’ll research Candace Craw-Goldman of Quantum Healing fame. Nominated in Comment #2589. She’s certainly got a fan, according to that quote! I’m researching this casual-looking photo, courtesy of Google.

    Again, nowhere close to Enlightenment.

Although a higher state of consciousness is not required to be of service, and evidently she does wonderful work.

I do notice a strong connection between her and astral beings, deeply lodged into her chakra databanks. Yet at times like posing for this photo… she’s definitely herself. On her sacred path.

  6. 2606

Then, STEVE, regarding Comment #2591, you’ve nominated Rumi Hashimoto. A leading light of Healing Touch. Here’s a beaming, pretty informal, photograph of Hashimoto-san.

Sweet as all the other energy healer’s I’ve been researching in this series. Also totally, totally not in Enlightenment. Rather, her chakra databanks show signs of collaborating routinely with a group of astral beings.
She remains herself, yet perhaps as much a leader among discarnate beings as she is within the Healing Touch Community….

  7. 2607

Thanks so much, JNANA, for your nomination of the persistent (and evidently delightful) author Min Jin Lee. For sure, 30 years is a long time to work on a book. (My record is 9 1/2 years. Like a fingersnap by comparison!)

Tremendous writing talent shows in her aura. Such as her Throat Chakra Databank for Connection in Close Relationships. Not remotely close to Enlightenment, however.

Thanks for this nomination in Comment #2596.

  8. 2608

ISABELLA, thank you for nominating the inspiring Rev. Dr. William Barber. Can’t wait to research him!

Well, wait no longer. anyone. Here I go, using the fine photo that you supplied in Comments #2597-2598.

He wins! We all win, ISABELLA. You win for sure. Because onto my Enlightenment Life List he goes!!!!! Amen!

  9. 2609
    Graham says:

Thanks so much for doing this research, Rose!

I really enjoyed reading what you had to say about all the nominations.

  10. 2610
    Jnana says:

Oh my, not remotely close! What a shame. I wonder if the difficult history of her forefathers has contributed to that.

Still, she can tell a tale and I enjoyed hers. Funnily enough, I did not enjoy that of another author who is in enlightenment. So there we go.

  11. 2611

Oh, JNANA, a teacher like you sure brings out the teacher in me!

So here come two questions, for you and also for other seekers of Enlightenment….

  12. 2612

Does the suffering — or non-suffering — of your parents (or other relatives) have any bearing whatsoever on whether you evolve spiritually?

Such as crossing the threshold into Enlightenment.

  13. 2613
    Jnana says:

And it was interesting to read how the energy healers are managing to still be themselves in spite of collaborating with astral entities.

It is possible to not get swept up by it after all.

  14. 2614

“There we go” is a sweet response.

Why might you enjoy a book written by somebody NOT in Enlightenment?

And, sneaking in a related question into this Question 2, why might you NOT enjoy a book written by somebody in Enlightenment?

  15. 2615
    Jnana says:

    Re 2612
    I guess not.
So her ‘not remotely’ is due to her own issues.

  16. 2616
    Jnana says:

2614 – Will get back to it tomorrow.

It’s too late in the night, or rather too early in the morning to be able to translate my vague guess into a proper reply now.

  17. 2617

Regarding that Comment #2613, as many of you Blog-Buddies may know, that’s a pretty low standard for “doing well”:

“… her chakra databanks show signs of collaborating routinely with a group of astral beings.
She remains herself, yet perhaps as much a leader among discarnate beings as she is [engaged in relationships with other people].

  18. 2618
    Jnana says:

So I’m back. Without an answer.

‘Why might you enjoy a book written by somebody NOT in Enlightenment?’

Could it be the topic is of interest to me and the writing so good, I get glimpses of the truth?

I hope you’re not going to say her stuff matches mine so the common ground there caused the enjoyment.

  19. 2619
    Jnana says:

And I guess ditto for question 2.

The truth was beyond my level of consciousness and so I did not enjoy it.

  20. 2620

Oh you sweet spiritual seeker. JNANA, I’m so glad you have voiced these questions. Pondering them over an extended time and then settling for “an answer” that was, actually, your answer.

    Really, sweet!

Then you found answers related to your long-term way of thinking. Perhaps related to a kind of religious background within Hinduism that I know a bit about, from some of our sessions together.

  21. 2621

Evidently you are looking for The Answer in the midst of your life as a human. The Divine Answer.

Well, here’s a hint to a practical answer. One that can help you adjust better to your life as it is. And also help you along a genuine spiritual path that can help you move towards Enlightenment

JNANA, “human” has got to be central for answering the two questions I posed above.

  22. 2622

Enjoyment of a book mostly has to do with HUMAN aspects of life. Such as the author’s skill as a writer.

Plus whether that author wrote on a topic you like, with a style you like, and supporting a point of view you find congenial.

While a book you don’t like mostly has to do with the author’s lack of skill, or choosing a topic you find uninteresting, or writes in a style you find annoying, or coming up with a perspective that you personally dislike.

  23. 2623

Life’s successes (and other goodies) do not go to human beings based solely on their level of spiritual awakening. Or integration of lovely experiences into everyday life.

We succeed in any endeavor based on paying the price for that success. Learning rather than faking it. Doing the work. Setting goals. Making reality checks and using flexibility in how we persist at pursuing our goals, realistically adapting to our rapidly changing society.

  24. 2624

JNANA, seems to me that you’re still struggling to understand the difference between how human life really works versus religious or spiritual ideals. And that’s a very hard way to live.

One of my books was written just for you and the many other good people in that same idealistic boat.

Please read this one. Or reread it.

  25. 2625

Of course, for the best results, read what that book actually says.

Some of us have been so indoctrinated that we don’t take life at surface value but constantly add overlays of beliefs that we were taught.

Like, “When this chapter says A, that’s Rose’s secret way of telling us Z.” (This intent would not be true of any honest writer. Rather, such writerly gymnastics would reveal an overly complicated way of seeking spiritual truth — or whatever. Which would cause readers to seriously missing the intended point.)

  26. 2626
    Jnana says:

Back to square one it is.

  27. 2627

Aw, JNANA, every time we learn something new it doesn’t have to count as “Square One.” Evolution is the big game you’re playing. I know you.

Please, give yourself credit for being such an intrepid spiritual seeker. You couldn’t ask for anything more important if you’re aiming for spiritual evolution. Maybe you’ve just moved forward to Square 80,002?

Who’s to say? Regardless of which Square on your path, you’ve taken a beautiful step with your thoughtful and gracious interactions here.

  28. 2628
    Jnana says:

Thank you Rose. You always make me feel so much better.

And your memoir, which I got today, is giving me such a high.

  29. 2629
    Steve says:

Thank you for doing that research, Rose.

  30. 2630

Today ISABELLA CATES sent a lovely thank you comment. Over her nomination of Dr. Rev. William Butler. Which resulted in the latest addition to this Enlightenment Life List.

I’ve turned it into a guest post. Are you in the mood for some inspiration? Then simply click here. 🙂

  31. 2631
    Steve says:

I’m very curious about Matt Riemann ( ). He’s got some passionate fans, Rose.

Please use your research skills and let me know if you consider him to be in Enlightenment.

    Thanks a lot.

  32. 2632
    Ethan says:

Rose-I’d like to nominate Kendrick Lamar-a rapper-who was recently awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music for 2018 for his 2017 album DAMN.

I’m so curious if this young man of 30 is in Enlightenment. He seems to be handling all his fame and fortune very well.

  33. 2633
  34. 2634

Thanks for these latest nominations! I do mean to get to them when a few more have heaped up onto the golden pile.

For now I would like to acknowledge a brand new addition to the Enlightenment Life List. A member of the RES Community. CHARLES. 🙂 Just finished a blog post of acknowledgment!

  35. 2635
    Carl says:

Maybe it’s a long shot. Still, would you please research Rosanne Barr for the Enlightenment Life List?

I know from a session with you, Rose, that just about everyone who works directly with Donald Trump is in extreme spiritual addiction. Even ones who don’t start out that way, like Chief of Staff John Kelly.

  36. 2636
    Carl says:

Now Roseanne has her new show. She’s a big trump fan. Although I don’t plan to watch her show, everyone’s talking about it, a whole lot of people are watching it.

So I’m curious if she might turn out to be the first person in Enlightenment who’s a big Trump fan. You haven’t found others, have you?

  37. 2637
  38. 2638
    Leo says:

I wanted to nominate Karl Ove Knausgard, a Norwegian writer.

You can see a recent photo here:…0….59.460.9…………….0j0i67.JkeHsCey%2BgU%3D#imgrc=fODJk7oRsx69fM:

An interview I saw with him was interesting and compelling.

  39. 2639
    Beth says:

I am new to this website.

Because Al Franken recently had to resign and it came up again that Bill Clinton was accused of rape, I think in 1998, how would you reconcile this information with your previous assessment of them, knowing that people change over time? Thank you.

  40. 2640

Thoughtful question there, BETH. Enlightenment is a state of consciousness. Not a prize for 100% perfect behavior.

At the time of President Clinton’s rape accusation, and also at the time when he tried to cover up a consensual — and very limited — affair… Neither one the same thing as rape, in my opinion.

Back then, he wasn’t in Enlightenment yet.

  41. 2641

Regarding Senator Franken, when he chose to resign it was due to an incident in 2006. Groping isn’t a lovely thing to do, but that isn’t rape either. And you’re right, BETH, he chose to resign.

This incident occurred long before he moved into Enlightenment.

  42. 2642
    Beth says:

Thank you for responding to my comments so quickly. I found a fairly thorough article about the alleged rape by Bill Clinton of Juanita Broddrick with photos and video footage.

    This is the link:

  43. 2643
    Beth says:

Just wondering if you could shed some more light on enlightenment and actions taken, self forgiveness maybe?

Not sure. So, he no longer has those issues and is no longer acting on them and has forgiven himself? Does karma play any part?

Maybe I should research your blog more before asking questions. Thanks again.

  44. 2644

You’re welcome, BETH. I think your idea about reading more here about Enlightenment is a good one. Perhaps you might start here:

    * About Enlightenment Coaching at my website, complete with videos
    * Searching on the Enlightenment category at this blog — loads of articles
    * And a recent article, plus comments, about Forgiveness. Since you brought up that topic.

  45. 2645

Catch up time again, Blog-Buddies. Will anyone new make it onto the Enlightenment Life List today?

Let’s start with Comment #2361. Thank you, STEVE, for your nomination of Matt Riemann. Sadly, using skills of energetic literacy and Enlightenment Coaching, I’d have to say that he’s far from Enlightenment. In extreme spiritual addiction, actually.

  46. 2646

Also, thank you, ETHAN, for your nomination of hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar, recently awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music.

His aura shows a great deal of power. (Also stuck anger.) Not remotely close to Enlightenment, although it’s wonderful to research the aura of someone so young who is using power strongly.

  47. 2647

And now, thank you, CARL, for your Comments 2635-2637. Nominating Rosanne Barr seems timely. Once again, she seems to be having a media success.

You’re quite right. So far nobody who’s a publicly strong Trump supporter is in Enlightenment. So, what’s the deal with her state of consciousness?

  48. 2648

Some of us Americans still remember a notorious public performance that became a scandal for Barr. It’s considered an honor to sing the National Anthem before an audience; however she shrieked the words and grabbed her crotch. She brought her fans this performance in 1990. The U.S. president at the time (a different Republican, George W. Bush) called her out.

I do wonder if Trump would approve or disapprove. Anyway…

  49. 2649

Sadly, Roseanne’s aura is doing far worse now than in 1990. (After researching the photo submitted, I briefly read her aura from the Washington Post article about the National Anthem incident. In that link I gave you in the previous comment.)

How was her aura back in the day? Very troubled. To such an extent that I wouldn’t have been able to take her on as a client, for instance. Because RES sessions are for people who are basically doing okay. Had she called me back then for an RES session, I would have explained that helping her would have been outside the scope of my work; I’d have recommended that she consider going to a psychiatrist.

  50. 2650

By now, like so many who work with Trump, Roseanne Barr is in extreme spiritual addiction.

  51. 2651

Finally, in this batch of nominations, LEO has nominated Norwegian writer Karl Ove Knausgard. After reading this writer’s aura a bit, I can appreciate why he would stand out in an interview.

Unfortunately, I’d describe what’s going on with him as super-way-huge-over-sexualized. As if everything is about sex. Much like the famous singer Sting.

  52. 2652

You know, Blog-Buddies, people can have extreme things going on in their auras. Making them compelling, fascinating. Yet what’s happening isn’t great, at least from my perspective as an Enlightenment Coach. 😉

Wow, LEO! Not only am I thanking you for your nomination but for the chance to announce yet one more reason to learn aura reading. To find out if the charismatic person is a great role model or, perhaps, a model of something not-so-great.

  53. 2653
    Steve says:

Once again I’ve got a nomination for you, Rose. David Letterman’s new show is great, and he seems to have mellowed since retirement from the Late Show with David Letterman.

Now he’s hosting a show called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. I wonder if he’s made it into Enlightenment by now. Please check for me.

  54. 2654
    Steve says:

Here’s a picture of him interviewing President Obama.

  55. 2655
    Steve says:

One more nomination, please. Kenan Thompson has always been one of my favorites on Saturday Night Live. I think that lately he seems to be glowing.

    Please research him, too.

  56. 2656
    Steve says:

I’m so curious about so many celebrities. Rose, would you please check out Cardi B? She seems to be having a moment, to put it mildly. And I wonder if it’s about something more than her singing. Sample it ?

    Here’s her photo.

  57. 2657

Today a long-term RES client received Enlightenment Validation.

On to the list goes ERICA K. I’ve written a little blog post in celebration!

  58. 2658

Thanks, STEVE, for your nomination of David Letterman in your Comments #2653 and 2654.

Although I’ve enjoyed his TV shows a great deal, he’s nowhere close to Enlightenment.

  59. 2659

However, there’s a kind of substance-related glow about him that conveys benevolence. And it probably feels pretty good to him, too.

This might be related to medication. Maybe you know about Dave’s coming out in public to talk about his struggles before getting psychiatric medication for depression.

  60. 2660

And here we go now, STEVE, with your nomination in Comment #2655 of Kenan Thompson from “Saturday Night Live.” Yes, there’s Kenan on the right side of the photo, leaning with his arm on the desk.

Nice catch! Onto my Enlightenment Life List he goes.

  61. 2661
    Lindsey says:

HI Rose, I would like to nominate comedian and actor, Ellie Kemper. She stars in a really cute comedy tv show called Unbreakable Kimmie. Here’s a picture link,
    Thank you!
