Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List — Read this and be inspired!

Enlightenment Life List — sure, why not? Just as birdwatchers keep a life list of exotic birds they have spotted, I have begun a list.

Granted, this is just Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List. Mine contains names of people whom I consider to have moved into Enlightenment. Not because they are famous or pretty, talented or otherwise amazing as human beings. As a teacher of energetic literacy, and also an Enlightenment coach, I research Enlightenment and what it means to me.

This post contains my running list, begun on Sunday, July 18, 2010. These posts can help you keep track before nominating:

  1. A YouTube Video Explanation of Why I Maintain this List
  2. Discerning Enlightenment
  3. Enlightenment Nominees
  4. Alphabetical Enlightenment List
  5. Moving into Enlightenment, Helped by Rosetree Energy Spirituality
  6. And this article might be helpful whether you’re in Enlightenment or simply know somebody who’s in Enlightenment. Enlightenment Etiquette was first published on December 10, 2018.

In years to come, see how many other articles are published about this. Could be fun, since many RES firsts have become very popular topics. Definitely, as more people move into Enlightenment, we need to start thinking about good manners regarding conversation between people in Enlightenment and those who aren’t… yet.

Rose Rosetree’s Official Enlightenment Life List

Big disclaimer: What does it mean when I note that a person’s state of consciousness qualifies as living in Enlightenment? Is it an endorsement of that person’s healing services, meditation techniques, or other work? Definitely not. Use your Post-New-Age consumer smarts. Please!

Also note *** I’ve put an asterisk *** by the names of those on the list I have personally met or talked to by phone. “Darshan” is the traditional name for being in the physical presence of a person who lives in Enlightenment. Being an English speaker, I call it “auric modeling.”

Got more candidates for this Enlightenment Life List? As time permits, I’ll do a short aura reading for free of each nominee, just to screen, and will respond with a simple YES or NO.

How to submit a nomination for this free aura reading research

Here is my open invitation to you Blog-Buddies. Any time you have a serious candidate for this list, you are invited to write one or more brief comment with the following info:

  1. To avoid duplicated research, please check out the list of previous nominees. I’ll only research a nominee one time for this list. (Some exceptions will be made, but at my personal discretion only. Thank you for respecting my time.)
  2. Include, please, the nominee’s name and a one-click link to a clear photo. Yes, a photo, please. Not a link to a YouTube video.
  3. Please summarize WHY you are interested.
  4. One nominee per comment, please. Unless your nomination is longer than a few paragraphs. In that case, please break up that nomination into multiple comments.
  5. Remember, even if your nominee doesn’t make it onto Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List, if that person has been a spiritual inspiration to you, keep that inspiration. A person need not be living in Enlightenment to do great work, be mega-talented as a healer or teacher or anything else. Your nominee could still touch your heart, change your life, even be a saint! As an Enlightenment Coach, I simply aim to help spiritual seekers to aim for standards. Energetic Literacy makes that possible for those of us living now.
  6. Finally, regarding your nomination, I request your patience. It takes more time than you might think to do this research, as does maintaining the blog itself. So I save up comments to this post and then go in and spend the hours required to respond. You might want to check back often and comment at other posts, too.

Fun Ways to Receive Updates

When you make a comment, you can check the box to get future comments on that post.

Also, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for new posts or all new comments.

And What Will I Do with Your Nomination?

Here’s my part of the deal. I’ll research and add that name to my Enlightenment Life List, provided that this person DOES show spiritual Enlightenment.

Plus that name will joyfully be added to an Alphabetized version of this list.

Either way, I will definitely add your nominee’s name to the list of those who have been nominated.

In this Age of Awakening, millions of people can move into Enlightenment, and do it with Age of Awakening Enlightenment. This Enlightenment Coach is dedicated to doing her part to help.

    Rose,

I appreciate this post and list! I particularly enjoy the fact that several of the people aren’t necessarily hugely famous or widely known. It’s helpful to have enlightenment defined as you do and it makes perfect sense to me. Thinking of it in this way makes it all seem more down-to-earth somehow, rather than an abstract, obscure, lofty notion. It ties together, once again, the notion that we’re all here on Earth, having our Earth School lives.

I’ve been curious about the folks at Pixar, so how about John Lasseter? Here’s a link to a photo [Link No longer Available]

I’m also wondering if Sonia Choquette would make the list.

    Warmly,

Is it ok to ask about people here who are not public figures, and post a link to their picture? Of course, I would also be curious about who would be enlightened out of all the people I know or used to know, but that would be thousands of people to sift through.

It looks like being rich and independent or having people who finance one’s life from A-Z may be favorable for being blissful!
Anyway in Bill Gates I found a painful congestion in his base chakra and not much bliss, mabe he should see a physician to check for some serious disease.

  9. 9

SUZANNE, thanks for Comment 1. Yes, I would include Ram Dass.

I met him actually, during a very small talk given shortly after he returned from India in an Enlightened state.

  10. 10

    ANN, re your Comment 2:

John Lasseter does not make that list at this time, although he sure is an intellectually brilliant and wildly creative man.

  11. 11

ANN, also related to your Comment 2:

You know that I have praised Sonia Choquette’s talent elsewhere on this blog. This recent photo does not meet the criteria of spiritual Enlightenment, with all respect to her outstanding psychic-level circuits.

  12. 12

    JENNIFER, re your Comment 3:

    Only public figures, please.

  13. 13

JENNIFER, more on your Comment 3:

I did put Ammaji on the list just tonight. Some of these magnificent Enlightened beings I have known about for years but just not transferred their names to my list.

She is another one I have met in person. And, yes, the hug was worth waiting for.

  14. 14

JENNIFER, back at your Comment 3:

Louise Hay has helped many people, but she would not go on such a list at this time.

  15. 15

RENE, in Comment 4 you asked about Master Ni:

He certainly has devoted himself rigorously to a spiritual path, but I would not place him on the Enlightenment list at this time.

  16. 16

BRENDA, re your Comment 5, how fun for you to have brought up Charlie Lutes from TM and the Spiritual Regeneration Movement. I haven’t seen him since 1974!

    Using this link: http://www.amazingabilities.com/charlie11a.html
I did read the photo provided. To my perception, he does go on the list of the Enlightened, but (for you and other Blog-Buddies familiar with distinctions Maharishi made about higher states of consciousness, no, I would not agree with the claim in that webpage that Lutes attained God Consciousness.

  17. 17

Incidentally, Brenda, thinking of Charlie Lutes reminded me of Helena Olson, who probably was Enlightened as well. I remember this late yogi fondly, but back when I knew her I wasn’t skilled yet at aura reading.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find photos of her online. Without verifying in this way, I will leave her off this list for now.

  18. 18

JORDAN, your Comment 6 was a great question.

Yes, people do evolve beyond basic Enlightenment. I have observed my friend Jeffrey Chappell in this way for years, and I hope he doesn’t mind my “outing” him as moving beyond basic Cosmic Consciousness (i.e., Enlightenment) into the beginning and glorious stages of God Consciousness.

  19. 19

BONNIE, re your Comment 7, so you have studied with Michael Tamura! He and his wife are the only husband and wife team on my list so far.

As for Bill Gates, Enlightenment is a state of consciousness. It doesn’t mean that others will love that person’s actions, or ideas, or business practices. Or even how he smells!

  20. 20

KARIN, thank you and your Comment 8 for being the very first person to offer your own experiences of reading people deeper in this set of comments.

    Hooray!

Like you, I’m just one person using my perception the best that I can.

What’s really exciting here is your use of your talent for learning about what was going on in his physical system. Talent, Karin!

  21. 21

Also about your Comment 8, KARIN, I think you were being sarcastic about suggesting a link between wealth and state of consciousness.

Yet, as I’m sure you know, spiritual awareness is completely independent of financial standing, social status, etc.

Wait until you see my upcoming book, “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.” Hold that thought you have introduced and prepare for a very large giggle.

  22. 22

JENNIER, completing a response to your Comment 3:

Mike Dooley in this photo: [Link No longer Available]

is one good looking guy, but in Enlightenment? His dog in this photo has a far more thrilling aura. With all respect to both Dooley, his dog, and YOU.

    Jordan says:

I hadn’t heard of her until someone nominated her for your contest recently, but she’s pretty fascinating, and seems likely to be enlightened with all the things she’s purportedly able to do, like bilocation.

  28. 28

JORDAN, re Comment 27, nice catch.

On she goes, right onto the list. Thanks. 🙂

  29. 29

JORDAN, also about your Comment 27, not having much STUFF in your auric field is a start, but I don’t put someone in the Enlightened category unless there is, to my perception, a great deal of joy as well.

Noo need to be sorry. But I think I found one this time – if I’m understanding what you wrote in an old blog post correctly, Susan Scolastico belongs on your list.

  33. 33

Well done, Jordan. Yes, I will add Susan Scolastico to that list. Although there still are areas of pain, the joy outweighs it overall. And the quality of purity in that woman…

  38. 38

BRENDA, that Aluna Joy is marvellous and talented, but I don’t consider her ready for the Enlightenment Life List quite yet.

  39. 39

BRENDA, thanks for jogging my memory, somehow, indirectly. I had been meaning to add Karen Robinson. All you Blog-Buddies, do your favorite aura reading technique or technique for skilled empath merge on this powerhouse!

    [Link No Longer Available]

  40. 40

sounds like some really interesting stuff. I hope that things continue to go well for those of you that are trying this method to gain enlightenment. I am hoping to try this out myself and see if it will help me along with the acupuncture that I usually do.

  41. 41

Welcome, LOS ANGELES ACUPUNCTURE! Just to be clear, all the techniques for Deeper Perception that I teach via this blog and the website http://www.rose-rosetree.com

They are NOT intended as a method to gain Enlightenment. They are intended to help us use the degree of Enlightenment we already have, by whatever means it has been gained over the lifetimes.

Once upon a time, I believed (as many people do) that when I was “There” in consciousness, all forms of perception would automatically open up.

This is just plain ridiculous. Being Enlightened won’t make you a rocket scientist, a great tennis player or even someone who knows how to spell words properly.

Meanwhile, when you CAN do aura reading in depth and detail (full energetic literacy) or you have become a skilled empath; when you are a real face reader (a physiognomist, not simply an expression reader) — then you can really tell who is who in this sometimes baffling Earth School.

If you ARE considering the services of a spiritual teacher or emotional healer (like me) or a physical healer or any other kind of professional, it is smart as a consumer to check out the “who-you-be” factor. And not just to do it as a vague vibe or hunch but to use full energetic literacy.

For acupuncture, these skills would be really useful, you’re right. I have had clients and students who are professionals in this field. Since acupuncture primarily moves chi, of course it would be really important to have full energetic literacy about chi!

Hi Rose, I don’t see the Dalai Lama on your list. How about him? [Link No longer Available]

  44. 44

SANDRA, Dr. Taylor is absolutely fascinating and talented, aurically. However, at the time of the photo with the link you supplied in Comment 42, she isn’t Enlightened.

Certainly she has way more consciousness than most people living on earth today, but there are some areas that don’t yet match up to the standard of expansion and free flow.

  45. 45

BRENDA, of course the Dalai Lama belongs on my Enlightenment Life List.

He’s one of the people from that list I have been in the presence of, too. How could I have forgotten him? Thanks for bringing up his name here, and supplying an excellent link.

    [Link No longer Available]

  49. 49

BRENDA, thanks for your latest nominee, plus a useful link.

Patricia Jepsen has a lot of endearing qualities including many that would help her to become financially successful, but no, she isn’t now a candidate for the Enlightenment Life List.

  50. 50

JO, thanks for your ideas. Krishnamurti is already on the Enlightenment Life List, as #9. I added the name “Jiddu” for him.

The guy seems to have many names attributed to him. 🙂

  51. 51

Yes, JO, I will include beautiful Swami Chinmayananda to this Enlightenment Life List.

However, he is not to be confused with H.H. Swami Tejomayananda (Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide) who is a direct disciple of H.H. Swami Chinmayananda. I’m not suggesting that this disciple isn’t a good teacher, or devoted to this cause. But I wouldn’t put him on the Enlightenment Life List at this time.

  52. 52
    Jo says:

Oh, thanks Rose! I hadn’t realised the ‘two’ Krishnamurti’s were one and the same. 🙂

Yes I am with you about Swami Tejomayananda. I have met him and attended some of his talks, and did not feel that special kind of light from him yet. However, the sensitivity of one of his Chinmayanda Mission colleagues, Swami Swaroopananda, affected me in a different way. Would you please share what do you read from him?

  56. 56

KARIN, re Comment 54, much as I love that name Jyotiananda, I don’t find that Yoni Jyotiananda is quite Enlightened yet.

Close, but not there. So I wouldn’t add him to the Enlightenment Life List at this time.

  57. 57

J., what a delight to consider all these European healers and teachers. Thanks for all the ideas.

Let’s start with Ingrid Auer, the angel essence manufacturer.

Although she has very developed consciousness, I wouldn’t put her on the Enlightenment Life List, not quite yet.

  58. 58

Hi again, J. Re your Comment 55, Jamie Sams, First Nation shaman, yes! She goes onto that Enlightenment Life List. Great catch!

  59. 59

About your Comment 55, J., where you proposed Eva Ulmer-Janes, the Huna shaman, for our Enlightenment Life List: She has such a lovely heart and is clearly a mega-talented empath with many empath gifts.

However, to my perception, she is not ready for the Enlightenment Life List at this time.

  60. 60

You’ve proposed one who was appropriate for that Enlightenment Life List so far, J., with your Comment 55. Ooh, the suspense as I investigate the aura of Jasmuheen (a.k.a. Ellen Greve).

This pranic living promoter is exquisite, no question. But I don’t consider her ready at this time for the Enlightenment Life List.

  61. 61

So, what’s the problem with 3 out of the 4 great people proposed recently by J. in Comment 55?

The common denominator is this — and the same goes for many who have been proposed for this Enlightenment Life List:

They still suffer as humans. Often quite a lot. Problems show up when I investigate chakra databanks like:

Giving Love at the Heart Chakra
Receiving Love at the Heart Chakra

It becomes painfully clear that there is still STUFF to release, sometimes a lot of it.

For all these three from J., the work itself is clearly impeccable. Chakra databanks relevant to the World Server self are just pristine and very individually lovely.

But Enlightenment isn’t only about doing good work. It’s about being STUFF-free, having bliss as an eternal experience, bringing a magnitude of healing in that person’s auric modeling.

PS I got to hug Donna yesterday at a workshop her and David were giving. It was divine!

I’ll check that Donna Eden one out, thanks.

All right, this video is AMAZING. Seriously…

    [Link No longer Available]

It is by Eckhart Tolle and it is about an hour long. It starts simply with an analogy and grows…

literally mind blowing. I so recommend it.

Fans of Jeffrey Chappell, here are a bunch of performance links for you.

Some of the videos come through his website:

JO, a belated thank you for Comment #53. I finally made the correction. 🙂

  75. 75

SANDRA, thanks for that Comment #69. I agree about the amazingness of Donna Eden.

She really is an American-style “Hugging & Healing Saint” herself, with all respect to the great Indian Hugging Saint, Ammachi. (Both on our Enlightenment Life List, of course.)

  76. 76

BRENDA, about your nomination of Dennis Adams in Comment 70, yes, this fascinating healer goes right on the list. Thank you.

  77. 77

ANONYMOUS, you also asked about her husband, and I am so delighted to add Johnny Seitz to the Enlightenment Life List.

Blog-Buddies, keep those nominations coming. There are so many graced and glorious beings alive now. Remember, they aren’t all healers.

Many of the businesspeople on this list are among the richest people in the world. I read them as part of the extensive research for my latest book, now in press, “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy: 10 Secrets of Success and Prosperity for the Third Millennium.”

ANONYMOUS, thanks for your Comment #71 and nomination of Chris Rials-Seitz, sound healer (USA)

Another magnificent Enlightened being among us. She goes onto the Enlightenment Life List right now. 🙂

I attended a Dennis Adams weekend workshop in I think 1989. It was life changing. He is so dynamic.

This healer is visting my town soon. Never heard of her until now. She looks blissful.

I was watching a movie called “The Buddha” on PBS and I wondered about some of the people featured:

Ooh, Blog-Buddies, we have a lot to get through. Thanks, everyone, for these fascinating nominations.

Let’s start most recent Comment first.

Mary, and Comment #84. Dr. Pearl has a huge following so I’m sure he won’t mind that he isn’t anywhere near being ready for the Enlightenment Life List yet. He does have FABULOUS circuits for becoming wealthy, and he definitely is a good guy.

  85. 85

BRENDA, following up on your nomination of Tony Hsieh, Zappos CEO in Comment 83, I followed this link:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/steve-rosenbaum/creating-a-happiness-cult_b_607621.html

and discovered that his last name is pronounced “Shay,” and that yes, to my perception he definitely belongs on the Enlightenment Life List. Nice nomination there, Brenda!

    Mary says:

I would like to nominate Dr. Eric Pearl, of The Reconnection.

    Thanks, Rose.

    Grace says:

Isn’t it interesting to note that the Zappos culture is based on proximity, in that all the workers are on site, and not on telecommuting? He understands those themes – among many others! – we’ve chatted about on this blog, in terms of electronic relationships.

I’ve watched a couple of interviews with him and I’m really impressed!

  88. 88

JORDAN, your Comment 82 also nominated Metteyya Sakyaputta, a Buddhist monk who DEFINITELY has just gone onto the Enlightenment Life List.

What a lovely find! Thank you.

  89. 89

JORDAN, in Comment 82, you also asked about a Buddhist nun, Bhaddhamanika. She goes onto that list, too.

You are making my day. 🙂

  90. 90

JORDAN, that Comment 82 was power-packed. Not only do I find poet Jane Hirshfield to be Enlightened at the time of her photo here:

    http://www-tc.pbs.org/thebuddha/media/photos/Hirshfield.jpg

But she is also a Molecular Empath. As you may know, those are rare. Our first poet nominated, too — woo-hoo!

  91. 91
    Jordan says:

Ooh! I am so happy for the Jane Hirshfield find. I always loved her poetry, but I’m not sure I had ever even seen a picture of her until I watched that movie.

I think they’re playing the new movie all these beautiful Buddhists are in, “The Buddha”, a lot on PBS these days so you can catch a glimpse of their glowy faces!

  92. 92

JORDAN, from your fascinating Comment 82, first let’s consider Deepak Chopra:

    [Link No longer Available]

I’ve spent quite a bit of time with him, as part of the gatherings I used to attend when teaching Transcendental Meditation. For years, he would give long, incredibly great talks. I do consider him one of the very most talented speakers I’ve ever heard.

Many of his books have also been meaningful to me.

However, the great Deepak Chopra would not yet be a candidate for that Enlightenment Life List, IMHO.

This is the best post ever. I loved watching this interview with Dennis Adams:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEcVPwN4PDw&feature=related

Also enjoyed listening to clips of Jane Hirschfield online. And doing Donna Eden’s 5 minute energy routine. And reading the interview with the Zappos founder.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I’m still very curious about Thich Nhat Hanh. Here is a still photo of him:

although what is really extraordinary about him are his eyes so I recommend the youtube video:

I also wonder about new age author Wayne Dyer, the one who really started me on my spiritual path.

Truthfully I have to wonder if there aren’t stages of enlightenment. Because even among enlightened people there seem to be so many levels…
