Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List

Enlightenment Life List — Read this and be inspired!

Enlightenment Life List — sure, why not? Just as birdwatchers keep a life list of exotic birds they have spotted, I have begun a list.

Granted, this is just Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List. Mine contains names of people whom I consider to have moved into Enlightenment. Not because they are famous or pretty, talented or otherwise amazing as human beings. As a teacher of energetic literacy, and also an Enlightenment coach, I research Enlightenment and what it means to me.

This post contains my running list, begun on Sunday, July 18, 2010. These posts can help you keep track before nominating:

  1. A YouTube Video Explanation of Why I Maintain this List
  2. Discerning Enlightenment
  3. Enlightenment Nominees
  4. Alphabetical Enlightenment List
  5. Moving into Enlightenment, Helped by Rosetree Energy Spirituality
  6. And this article might be helpful whether you’re in Enlightenment or simply know somebody who’s in Enlightenment. Enlightenment Etiquette was first published on December 10, 2018.

In years to come, see how many other articles are published about this. Could be fun, since many RES firsts have become very popular topics. Definitely, as more people move into Enlightenment, we need to start thinking about good manners regarding conversation between people in Enlightenment and those who aren’t… yet.

Rose Rosetree’s Official Enlightenment Life List

Big disclaimer: What does it mean when I note that a person’s state of consciousness qualifies as living in Enlightenment? Is it an endorsement of that person’s healing services, meditation techniques, or other work? Definitely not. Use your Post-New-Age consumer smarts. Please!

Also note *** I’ve put an asterisk *** by the names of those on the list I have personally met or talked to by phone. “Darshan” is the traditional name for being in the physical presence of a person who lives in Enlightenment. Being an English speaker, I call it “auric modeling.”

  247. Another February addition to our Enlightenment Life List. Engineer JESSE has moved into Enlightenment. Another member of our RES community and, actually, an RES Apprentice.

Got more candidates for this Enlightenment Life List? As time permits, I’ll do a short aura reading for free of each nominee, just to screen, and will respond with a simple YES or NO.

How to submit a nomination for this free aura reading research

Here is my open invitation to you Blog-Buddies. Any time you have a serious candidate for this list, you are invited to write one or more brief comment with the following info:

  1. To avoid duplicated research, please check out the list of previous nominees. I’ll only research a nominee one time for this list. (Some exceptions will be made, but at my personal discretion only. Thank you for respecting my time.)
  2. Include, please, the nominee’s name and a one-click link to a clear photo. Yes, a photo, please. Not a link to a YouTube video.
  3. Please summarize WHY you are interested.
  4. One nominee per comment, please. Unless your nomination is longer than a few paragraphs. In that case, please break up that nomination into multiple comments.
  5. Remember, even if your nominee doesn’t make it onto Rose Rosetree’s personal Enlightenment Life List, if that person has been a spiritual inspiration to you, keep that inspiration. A person need not be living in Enlightenment to do great work, be mega-talented as a healer or teacher or anything else. Your nominee could still touch your heart, change your life, even be a saint! As an Enlightenment Coach, I simply aim to help spiritual seekers to aim for standards. Energetic Literacy makes that possible for those of us living now.
  6. Finally, regarding your nomination, I request your patience. It takes more time than you might think to do this research, as does maintaining the blog itself. So I save up comments to this post and then go in and spend the hours required to respond. You might want to check back often and comment at other posts, too.

Fun Ways to Receive Updates

When you make a comment, you can check the box to get future comments on that post.

Also, you can subscribe to the RSS feed for new posts or all new comments.

And What Will I Do with Your Nomination?

Here’s my part of the deal. I’ll research and add that name to my Enlightenment Life List, provided that this person DOES show spiritual Enlightenment.

Plus that name will joyfully be added to an Alphabetized version of this list.

Either way, I will definitely add your nominee’s name to the list of those who have been nominated.

In this Age of Awakening, millions of people can move into Enlightenment, and do it with Age of Awakening Enlightenment. This Enlightenment Coach is dedicated to doing her part to help.

Next, STEVE, I’ll research Candace Craw-Goldman of Quantum Healing fame. Nominated in Comment #2589. She’s certainly got a fan, according to that quote! I’m researching [Link No longer Available] this casual-looking photo, courtesy of Google.

    Again, nowhere close to Enlightenment.

Although a higher state of consciousness is not required to be of service, and evidently she does wonderful work.

I do notice a strong connection between her and astral beings, deeply lodged into her chakra databanks. Yet at times like posing for this photo… she’s definitely herself. On her sacred path.

  2. 2602

Then, STEVE, regarding Comment #2591, you’ve nominated Rumi Hashimoto. A leading light of Healing Touch. Here’s a beaming, pretty informal, photograph of Hashimoto-san.

Sweet as all the other energy healer’s I’ve been researching in this series. Also totally, totally not in Enlightenment. Rather, her chakra databanks show signs of collaborating routinely with a group of astral beings.
She remains herself, yet perhaps as much a leader among discarnate beings as she is within the Healing Touch Community….

  3. 2603

Thanks so much, JNANA, for your nomination of the persistent (and evidently delightful) author Min Jin Lee. For sure, 30 years is a long time to work on a book. (My record is 9 1/2 years. Like a fingersnap by comparison!)

Tremendous writing talent shows in her aura. Such as her Throat Chakra Databank for Connection in Close Relationships. Not remotely close to Enlightenment, however.

Thanks for this nomination in Comment #2596.

  4. 2604

ISABELLA, thank you for nominating the inspiring Rev. Dr. William Barber. Can’t wait to research him!

Well, wait no longer. anyone. Here I go, using the fine photo that you supplied in Comments #2597-2598.

He wins! We all win, ISABELLA. You win for sure. Because onto my Enlightenment Life List he goes!!!!! Amen!

  5. 2605
    Graham says:

Thanks so much for doing this research, Rose!

I really enjoyed reading what you had to say about all the nominations.

  6. 2606
    Jnana says:

Oh my, not remotely close! What a shame. I wonder if the difficult history of her forefathers has contributed to that.

Still, she can tell a tale and I enjoyed hers. Funnily enough, I did not enjoy that of another author who is in enlightenment. So there we go.

  7. 2607

Oh, JNANA, a teacher like you sure brings out the teacher in me!

So here come two questions, for you and also for other seekers of Enlightenment….

  8. 2608

Does the suffering — or non-suffering — of your parents (or other relatives) have any bearing whatsoever on whether you evolve spiritually?

Such as crossing the threshold into Enlightenment.

  9. 2609
    Jnana says:

And it was interesting to read how the energy healers are managing to still be themselves in spite of collaborating with astral entities.

It is possible to not get swept up by it after all.

  10. 2610

“There we go” is a sweet response.

Why might you enjoy a book written by somebody NOT in Enlightenment?

And, sneaking in a related question into this Question 2, why might you NOT enjoy a book written by somebody in Enlightenment?

  11. 2611
    Jnana says:

    Re 2612
    I guess not.
So her ‘not remotely’ is due to her own issues.

  12. 2612
    Jnana says:

2614 – Will get back to it tomorrow.

It’s too late in the night, or rather too early in the morning to be able to translate my vague guess into a proper reply now.

  13. 2613

Regarding that Comment #2613, as many of you Blog-Buddies may know, that’s a pretty low standard for “doing well”:

“… her chakra databanks show signs of collaborating routinely with a group of astral beings.
She remains herself, yet perhaps as much a leader among discarnate beings as she is [engaged in relationships with other people].

  14. 2614
    Jnana says:

So I’m back. Without an answer.

‘Why might you enjoy a book written by somebody NOT in Enlightenment?’

Could it be the topic is of interest to me and the writing so good, I get glimpses of the truth?

I hope you’re not going to say her stuff matches mine so the common ground there caused the enjoyment.

  15. 2615
    Jnana says:

And I guess ditto for question 2.

The truth was beyond my level of consciousness and so I did not enjoy it.

  16. 2616

Oh you sweet spiritual seeker. JNANA, I’m so glad you have voiced these questions. Pondering them over an extended time and then settling for “an answer” that was, actually, your answer.

    Really, sweet!

Then you found answers related to your long-term way of thinking. Perhaps related to a kind of religious background within Hinduism that I know a bit about, from some of our sessions together.

  17. 2617

Evidently you are looking for The Answer in the midst of your life as a human. The Divine Answer.

Well, here’s a hint to a practical answer. One that can help you adjust better to your life as it is. And also help you along a genuine spiritual path that can help you move towards Enlightenment

JNANA, “human” has got to be central for answering the two questions I posed above.

  18. 2618

Enjoyment of a book mostly has to do with HUMAN aspects of life. Such as the author’s skill as a writer.

Plus whether that author wrote on a topic you like, with a style you like, and supporting a point of view you find congenial.

While a book you don’t like mostly has to do with the author’s lack of skill, or choosing a topic you find uninteresting, or writes in a style you find annoying, or coming up with a perspective that you personally dislike.

  19. 2619

Life’s successes (and other goodies) do not go to human beings based solely on their level of spiritual awakening. Or integration of lovely experiences into everyday life.

We succeed in any endeavor based on paying the price for that success. Learning rather than faking it. Doing the work. Setting goals. Making reality checks and using flexibility in how we persist at pursuing our goals, realistically adapting to our rapidly changing society.

  20. 2620

JNANA, seems to me that you’re still struggling to understand the difference between how human life really works versus religious or spiritual ideals. And that’s a very hard way to live.

One of my books was written just for you and the many other good people in that same idealistic boat.

Please read this one. Or reread it.

  21. 2621

Of course, for the best results, read what that book actually says.

Some of us have been so indoctrinated that we don’t take life at surface value but constantly add overlays of beliefs that we were taught.

Like, “When this chapter says A, that’s Rose’s secret way of telling us Z.” (This intent would not be true of any honest writer. Rather, such writerly gymnastics would reveal an overly complicated way of seeking spiritual truth — or whatever. Which would cause readers to seriously missing the intended point.)

  22. 2622
    Jnana says:

Back to square one it is.

  23. 2623

Aw, JNANA, every time we learn something new it doesn’t have to count as “Square One.” Evolution is the big game you’re playing. I know you.

Please, give yourself credit for being such an intrepid spiritual seeker. You couldn’t ask for anything more important if you’re aiming for spiritual evolution. Maybe you’ve just moved forward to Square 80,002?

Who’s to say? Regardless of which Square on your path, you’ve taken a beautiful step with your thoughtful and gracious interactions here.

  24. 2624
    Jnana says:

Thank you Rose. You always make me feel so much better.

And your memoir, which I got today, is giving me such a high.

  25. 2625
    Steve says:

Thank you for doing that research, Rose.

  26. 2626

Today ISABELLA CATES sent a lovely thank you comment. Over her nomination of Dr. Rev. William Butler. Which resulted in the latest addition to this Enlightenment Life List.

I’ve turned it into a guest post. Are you in the mood for some inspiration? Then simply click here. 🙂

  27. 2627
    Steve says:

I’m very curious about Matt Riemann

[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

He’s got some passionate fans, Rose.

Please use your research skills and let me know if you consider him to be in Enlightenment.

    Thanks a lot.

  28. 2628
    Ethan says:

Rose-I’d like to nominate Kendrick Lamar-a rapper-who was recently awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music for 2018 for his 2017 album DAMN.

I’m so curious if this young man of 30 is in Enlightenment. He seems to be handling all his fame and fortune very well.

  29. 2629
    Ethan says:

[Link No longer Available] (Kendrick Lamar photo)

  30. 2630

Thanks for these latest nominations! I do mean to get to them when a few more have heaped up onto the golden pile.

For now I would like to acknowledge a brand new addition to the Enlightenment Life List. A member of the RES Community. CHARLES. 🙂 Just finished a blog post of acknowledgment!

  31. 2631
    Carl says:

Maybe it’s a long shot. Still, would you please research Rosanne Barr for the Enlightenment Life List?

I know from a session with you, Rose, that just about everyone who works directly with Donald Trump is in extreme spiritual addiction. Even ones who don’t start out that way, like Chief of Staff John Kelly.

  32. 2632
    Carl says:

Now Roseanne has her new show. She’s a big trump fan. Although I don’t plan to watch her show, everyone’s talking about it, a whole lot of people are watching it.

So I’m curious if she might turn out to be the first person in Enlightenment who’s a big Trump fan. You haven’t found others, have you?

  33. 2633
    Carl says:

Thanks in advance, Rose. Here is her photo.

    Leo says:

I wanted to nominate Karl Ove Knausgard, a Norwegian writer.

You can see a recent photo here:

An interview I saw with him was interesting and compelling.

    Beth says:

I am new to this website.

Because Al Franken recently had to resign and it came up again that Bill Clinton was accused of rape, I think in 1998, how would you reconcile this information with your previous assessment of them, knowing that people change over time? Thank you.

  36. 2636

Thoughtful question there, BETH. Enlightenment is a state of consciousness. Not a prize for 100% perfect behavior.

At the time of President Clinton’s rape accusation, and also at the time when he tried to cover up a consensual — and very limited — affair… Neither one the same thing as rape, in my opinion.

Back then, he wasn’t in Enlightenment yet.

  37. 2637

Regarding Senator Franken, when he chose to resign it was due to an incident in 2006. Groping isn’t a lovely thing to do, but that isn’t rape either. And you’re right, BETH, he chose to resign.

This incident occurred long before he moved into Enlightenment.

  38. 2638
    Beth says:

Thank you for responding to my comments so quickly. I found a fairly thorough article about the alleged rape by Bill Clinton of Juanita Broddrick with photos and video footage.

    This is the link:https://www.vox.com/2016/1/6/10722580/bill-clinton-juanita-broaddrick.

  39. 2639
    Beth says:

Just wondering if you could shed some more light on enlightenment and actions taken, self forgiveness maybe?

Not sure. So, he no longer has those issues and is no longer acting on them and has forgiven himself? Does karma play any part?

Maybe I should research your blog more before asking questions. Thanks again.

  40. 2640

You’re welcome, BETH. I think your idea about reading more here about Enlightenment is a good one. Perhaps you might start here:

    * About Enlightenment Coaching at my website, complete with videos
    * Searching on the Enlightenment category at this blog — loads of articles
    * And a recent article, plus comments, about Forgiveness. Since you brought up that topic.

  41. 2641

Catch up time again, Blog-Buddies. Will anyone new make it onto the Enlightenment Life List today?

Let’s start with Comment #2361. Thank you, STEVE, for your nomination of Matt Riemann. Sadly, using skills of energetic literacy and Enlightenment Coaching, I’d have to say that he’s far from Enlightenment. In extreme spiritual addiction, actually.

  42. 2642

Also, thank you, ETHAN, for your nomination of hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar, recently awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Music.

His aura shows a great deal of power. (Also stuck anger.) Not remotely close to Enlightenment, although it’s wonderful to research the aura of someone so young who is using power strongly.

  43. 2643

And now, thank you, CARL, for your Comments 2635-2637. Nominating Rosanne Barr seems timely. Once again, she seems to be having a media success.

You’re quite right. So far nobody who’s a publicly strong Trump supporter is in Enlightenment. So, what’s the deal with her state of consciousness?

  44. 2644

Some of us Americans still remember a notorious public performance that became a scandal for Barr. It’s considered an honor to sing the National Anthem before an audience; however she shrieked the words and grabbed her crotch. She brought her fans this performance in 1990. The U.S. president at the time (a different Republican, George W. Bush) called her out.

I do wonder if Trump would approve or disapprove. Anyway…

  45. 2645

Sadly, Roseanne’s aura is doing far worse now than in 1990. (After researching the photo submitted, I briefly read her aura from the Washington Post article about the National Anthem incident. In that link I gave you in the previous comment.)

How was her aura back in the day? Very troubled. To such an extent that I wouldn’t have been able to take her on as a client, for instance. Because RES sessions are for people who are basically doing okay. Had she called me back then for an RES session, I would have explained that helping her would have been outside the scope of my work; I’d have recommended that she consider going to a psychiatrist.

  46. 2646

By now, like so many who work with Trump, Roseanne Barr is in extreme spiritual addiction.

  47. 2647

Finally, in this batch of nominations, LEO has nominated Norwegian writer Karl Ove Knausgard. After reading this writer’s aura a bit, I can appreciate why he would stand out in an interview.

Unfortunately, I’d describe what’s going on with him as super-way-huge-over-sexualized. As if everything is about sex. Much like the famous singer Sting.

  48. 2648

You know, Blog-Buddies, people can have extreme things going on in their auras. Making them compelling, fascinating. Yet what’s happening isn’t great, at least from my perspective as an Enlightenment Coach. 😉

Wow, LEO! Not only am I thanking you for your nomination but for the chance to announce yet one more reason to learn aura reading. To find out if the charismatic person is a great role model or, perhaps, a model of something not-so-great.

  49. 2649
    Steve says:

Once again I’ve got a nomination for you, Rose. David Letterman’s new show is great, and he seems to have mellowed since retirement from the Late Show with David Letterman.

Now he’s hosting a show called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. I wonder if he’s made it into Enlightenment by now. Please check for me.

  50. 2650
    Steve says:

Here’s a picture of him interviewing President Obama.

[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

    Thanks.

  51. 2651
    Steve says:

One more nomination, please. Kenan Thompson has always been one of my favorites on Saturday Night Live. I think that lately he seems to be glowing.

    Please research him, too. https://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/content/sites/nbcutsjf/files/styles/snl_640x360/public/images/2018/05/19/1746_update_curry.jpg?itok=RWgB0obH

  52. 2652
    Steve says:

I’m so curious about so many celebrities. Rose, would you please check out Cardi B? She seems to be having a moment, to put it mildly. And I wonder if it’s about something more than her singing. Sample it ? [Link No longer Available]

    [Link No longer Available]

  53. 2653

Today a long-term RES client received Enlightenment Validation.

On to the list goes ERICA K. I’ve written a little blog post in celebration!

  54. 2654

Thanks, STEVE, for your nomination of David Letterman in your Comments #2653 and 2654.

Although I’ve enjoyed his TV shows a great deal, he’s nowhere close to Enlightenment.

  55. 2655

However, there’s a kind of substance-related glow about him that conveys benevolence. And it probably feels pretty good to him, too.

This might be related to medication. Maybe you know about Dave’s coming out in public to talk about his struggles before [Link No Longer Available]

  56. 2656

And here we go now, STEVE, with your nomination in Comment #2655 of Kenan Thompson from “Saturday Night Live.” Yes, there’s Kenan on the right side of the photo, leaning with his arm on the desk.

Nice catch! Onto my Enlightenment Life List he goes.

  57. 2657
    Lindsey says:

HI Rose, I would like to nominate comedian and actor, Ellie Kemper. She stars in a really cute comedy tv show called Unbreakable Kimmie. Here’s a picture link,
[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

    Thank you!

  58. 2658
    SIY says:

I would like to nominate Finnish/Swedish tv host Mark Levengood.

There’s something special about Mark Levengood. He comes across as very loving and peaceful. He has experienced some traumatic events in his life, but seems to have mastered forgiveness.

[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

  59. 2659
    Franki says:

Can I nominate Dr Steven Gundry? He’s a cardiac surgeon turned function medicine doctor.

His work has taken off lately and is really helping a huge number of people including me!

[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

  60. 2660

Sure, FRANKI. A physician who has helped me, over the years, has made it onto this list. And so is one of the acupuncturists at this well-reputed healing center. Any public figure with a photo can be nominated.

SIY and LINDSEY, I’ll be considering your nominations too. What I tend to do here is let a bunch of them pile up. Then I can go in, open many windows on my computer and research them systematically. All nominations are appreciated. It’s exciting to know that many people today are in Enlightenment.

  61. 2661

Here’s a fun new project that I’m beginning today, Blog-Buddies. And I must complete it before I go back to researching excellent nominations like those in our recent-ish Comments 2661-2663.

Here in the Workshop Development Room, I’m busily putting together all the worksheets and handouts for the upcoming Accelerate Enlightenment workshop. Related to that, I’m going through every public I put on my Enlightenment Life List after the Shift into the Age of Awakening. Basically, that means starting with Comment 952. (Comment numbers get off when I delete comments about placing folks onto that list.)

  62. 2662

I’ll confirm who stays on that list; others may slide off, plus be removed from the Alphabetical List (link found near the top of the main post).

First one up is Enlightenment Coach Terry Cole-Whittaker. She stays. 🙂 And, of course, spiritual luminaries like Babaji, who are no longer living on earth, won’t be changing their status here as in Enlightenment.

  63. 2663
    Lindsey says:

Great idea Rose 🌹! Thank you!

  64. 2664

Also still in Enlightenment is Sister Wendy Beckett, the art critic. Pure Traditional Enlightenment, just glorious!
Pope Francis also continues in Traditional Enlightenment. Also Jeddha Mali, a teacher of Traditional Enlightenment.

Book narrator George Guidall is still radiating Age of Awakening Enlightenment.

  65. 2665

Flourishing in Age of Awakening Enlightenment: RES Practitioners Sandra Haering and Isabella Cates. And RES client Evgenia Brodyagina.

Plus Investor Ray Dalio. Likewise novelist Barbara Kingsolver,

  66. 2666

Also doing just fine in Age of Awakening Enlightenment:
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama; Vice-President Al Gore.

  67. 2667
    Ethan says:

I’d like to nominate Gabby Bernstein, she is being hailed as a guru for our times and thought leader. She is an author, life coach and “spirit junkie”.

I wonder if this path is working for her. [Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

  68. 2668

One more fascinating nomination — thank you ETHAN. I’m continuing to go through folks on the Enlightenment Life List after the Shift into The Age of Awakening, seeking to learn how many of them are still in Enlightenment. It’s a process of gathering data as a fascinating part of the first Accelerate Enlightenment Workshop.

When this is done, I’ll let you all know. These are challenging times, for those not in Enlightenment and those who are living that consciousness lifestyle. And not everybody has been able to move forward steadily.

Yesterday my Washington Post had a little article in the feature section, showing big & current photos of one of Trump’s daughters, Tiffany Trump, alongside a photo of Lindsay Lohan. The photos were paired with a headline like, “What could these two have in common?”

I researched their auras and one commonality became evident: both are in extreme spiritual addiction.

  70. 2670

Of course, these two were never anywhere close to Enlightenment. (I’ll always be fond of Lindsay, as a so-talented child actress.)

By contrast, I was saddened to research a current photo of the Dalai Lama, who is now in extreme spiritual addiction. Definitely in Traditional Enlightenment… once upon a time.

  71. 2671

So you can see why I’m doing this time-consuming but important project of tracking down current photos if I can and then adjusting my Enlightenment Life Lists as needed.

Mostly preparing for the workshop next weekend is such a joy; this part, not so much.

  72. 2672

But even when someone moves into extreme spiritual addiction, it’s just for the rest of the lifetime (as I understand things). After “death,” the person gets cleaned up on the other side, has a Life Review, and is free to incarnate again and again.

    Human life is designed generously.

    Graham says:

Oh no! The Dalai Lama…! Very sad to hear that.

One wonders what sort of choices he made, over time, that have resulted in this.

  74. 2674

GRAHAM, I appreciate your concern. I shared this status change on my blog because many of us have greatly admired the Dalai Lama, and we can continue to appreciate what he’s done in the past… while no longer considering him a personal source of inspiration.

That’s the prudent thing to do when somebody has moved into extreme spiritual addiction.

  75. 2675

Otherwise I would strongly discourage you, and others, from speculation of this kind. The man’s personal choices are none of our business.

Based on having personally known some people who moved into this consciousness lifestyle, I’ll tell you what does matter (in my opinion).

  76. 2676

#1. Speak with integrity. Don’t lie to others, or to yourself.

#2. Make choices that build up to a pattern of living in integrity.

#3. Have the humility to be human. Not super-human. Just a hairy, smelly, curious, evolving human.

Rose, time permitting, could you please assess whether Star Riparetti is still doing well? (#46 on the List)

She has developed an extreme interest in a certain lake & was very keen on directly experiencing the total solar eclipse in 2017, referring to it as a “Celestial Woodstock”. This got me wondering.

Quite true, Anonymous, your suspicions. Very common as an occupational hazards for many psychics and energy medicine experts in The Age of Awakening. But still very sad, if you’ve been fond of her, as I’ve been.

Right now I have four of Star’s gorgeous essences right on my desk; I’ve been using them daily (unless out of town). Unfortunately I won’t be purchasing new ones, as — seems to me — she’s now in extreme spiritual addictions. Aiming to get this blog post and related ones up to date soon; today was just packed with sessions and workshop planning.

For any of you who are curious about members of this list who were added BEFORE Comment 922 — meaning, before 12/21/12 — if you can find a one-click photo link of that person, taken from 2016 or more recently — comment away with it.

My plans now are just to research those who came onto the list after that date, quite a job in itself. Thanks for your help here, Anonymous.

    Isabella C says:

Rose, thank you for your work updating the list. I am going to spend some time now submitting a comments about some people in places 1-143 on the list, as I would really like to see this remain accurate.

I’ll go out of order, since some people will be much easier to find recent photos of than others.

  82. 2682

#14, Meryl Streep, can be removed. From what I understand, you have researched her recently, Rose.

  83. 2683

ISABELLA CATES, thank you so much. Updating all this is a big job.

Personally I’ll never forget how indispensable your help has been right from the start, including our volunteering to put together the Alphabetical Enlightenment Life List. Such a wonderful idea, and a generous act of service to our RES community!

    #47, Arielle Christner:
[Rose now has a policy of making live at this thread only photos of people who go onto my Enlightenment Life List. Please include a photo link when submitting a candidate.]

(first photo, probably much more recent.)

  85. 2685

The most recent photo that I could find of Kevin Kline (#12) is from an event in November 2017.

Bill Gates is #15, and I think Melinda Gates was meant to be added to the list at some point, but she’s not there. I will check the comments to make sure that she was researched at some point.

    Thank you Isabella. And Rose.
Keenly following the latest developments. It sucks when pillars fall. The disbelief, the momentary fear and then the resolve to keep to truth come what may.

    Graham says:

Re #2680 Thank you Rose. That is the answer to the question beneath my question :).

    Hi Rose
I hope you will check Shodo Harada Roshi for me (the man in a yellow/orange dressing): http://onedropzen.org/news/mui_no_shinnin_zendo_tent_sesshin
He is on your list, but I would like to make sure that he is still doing well. The old photo was from 2010 I think, and this one is from July this year.

    N says:

He lived in a monestary for a while and now lives with his partner and works as a carpenter, as far as I know.
He feels very grounded to me and has kind presence.

He is teaching close to where I live, so I’m quite interested to know if he and his teacher Shodo Harada Roshi are both doing well. Thanks, I appreciate you doing this.

  91. 2691

Thanks so much for this outpouring of curiosity, complete with research links. Each one saves me 10 minutes or more. So thanks. And please know that I’ll get to them as time permits.

A couple of technical points were raised (for me) by some of these comments, so perhaps the following might be helpful to some of you.

  92. 2692

Regarding Comment #2698, and somebody not being on this Enlightenment Life List… If you’re curious about any public figure, you’re free to nominate that person by supplying what I request in the main post.

  93. 2693

I’m very happy to offer this free service. Just, please, don’t skip my request that, before proposing a candidate for the List, first you check out that person in the NOMINEES post. (Link is near the top of this article. Since I do keep track of which people have already been nominated.)

More than you might think, many a public figure has already been nominated. With the exception of this, my latest project, I only research a nominee once. Thanks for understanding my human limitations with time.

  94. 2694

Regarding Comment #2691, JNANA, I found these words especially touching: “It sucks when pillars fall. The disbelief, the momentary fear and then the resolve to keep to truth come what may.”

But really, about that fear part, moving into extreme spiritual addiction doesn’t just happen. Rather, it’s a consequence, resulting from a series of choices. So please don’t respond to this news with fear. Or maybe even disbelief (as you mentioned). In the early days of The Age of Awakening, this is just something that happens until people understand better what’s going on, and how to avoid problems.

Might I suggest? Just “resolve to keep to truth” and integrity. As noted in practical Comment #2680 from yesterday.

  95. 2695

Living in The Age of Awakening, we have an unprecedented potential for spiritual growth. Seems to me, in our lifetimes, millions may move into Enlightenment. (Helping us to prepare is my biggest reason for selecting the topic of “Accelerate Enlightenment” for my workshop next week, the final RES workshop of 2018.)

Higher stakes, bigger consequences. That’s just how it is living now.

  96. 2696

So if we live in integrity, we’ll evolve extra-rapidly.

But folks can no longer get away with caring about fame more than anything else, or seeking power above all else, or arrogantly pursuing a superior degree of higher consciousness compared to others, or drifting way from allegiance to one’s own humanity, warts (and feeling vulnerable) and all.

  97. 2697

And if you wish to keep track of how people are doing, consciousness-wise, living now, you no longer have to settle for a good feeling about someone, or a quick energy read. (All of which counts as Stage 1 Energetic Literacy, which is fine for a beginner but is notoriously inaccurate.)

Learn Stages 2 and 3 of Energetic Literacy… and then you’ll be set for life with discernment about such things. Others have mastered these skills, starting with this free resource. You can too, you really can.

  98. 2698

Wanting to keep track of how people are doing, consciousness-wise?

Sure, this is yet one more reason to learn good energetic literacy skills, in order to tell. Plenty of practical benefits are available, too.

With all respect to meditation experts trained by methods developed back in the Age of Faith, IMHO, their lack of full energetic literacy does not serve them well. (And by “full energetic literacy,” I only mean up through Stage 3. Sure more is available, and practical, and I’d be glad to teach you. But that’s for RES specialists, etc. For basic consumer smarts about how folks are doing these days, with their state of consciousness — especially spiritual teachers and beloved public figures — really, you’ll do fine with Stage 3 Energetic Literacy.)

  99. 2699

In retrospect, it’s very telling about my former guru, the late Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, one of the great world gurus before The Age of Awakening.

When it came to systematic knowledge about “the mechanics” of consciousness, and also his teaching of Transcendental Meditation, Maharishi was a true consciousness engineer, and meticulous.

  100. 2700

Yet he taught his teachers (like me, back in the day) absolutely nothing about aura reading. Instead he would — pardon my saying — brag that he could do it.

As a teacher, he entirely sidestepped his responsibility to teach us how to read auras. Not that it mattered so much during the decades when I studied with him, long before The Age of Awakening.
